CM Chicken - Review - Gardena - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"Of all the big Korean chicken franchises—Kyochon, Bb.q Chicken, Pelicana, etc.—CM Chicken, short for Choong Man Chicken, flies most under the radar. Despite having 50+ locations across the country, the only local branch of this causal pub is in Gardena, but even if you're not in the South Bay, their unique Snow Onion Chicken is worth a trip. Hulking pieces of bone-in chicken are topped with a huge mound of shaved raw onion, and then smothered in a sweet coleslaw-esque sauce. It's crunchy, pungent, creamy, and a total glorious mess—if we're feeling especially decadent, get the Hot Red Snow, which adds a searing glaze to the chicken before its sweet onion bath." - Garrett Snyder

Korean fried 🍗 and 🍺 done right. Fried chicken was crispy yet juicy inside. The trick of juicy chicken is of course not to overcook it, and CM chicken has done it just right. Unfortunately, when we went on a Friday night, they were all out of any soy flavored products, so we went for the snow chicken with raw onions in a white sauce, and a separate order of a healing pile of shredded green onion on chicken. The clear winner for us is the green onion option. Maybe the raw onion and slightly creamy white sauce is just not what we look for in a crispy chicken dish, but the green onion was much more appetizing.

Plenty of parking, free lot. Clean inside but unique set up. We stood at a counter thinking we were waiting to order. But then told we order at the table. Some of the items at the table were not the same as at the counter. Large portions, great flavor, it is expensive but many chicken places are. Service was Slow. No one checked on us, but the interaction we had wasn’t bad. I’d come back for the door but maybe to go.

I ordered pickup online through Doordash. They were out of wings so they gave us a fried half chicken. They called us twice but we missed the call. I appreciate that they tried to reach out and still had something prepared for us. At pickup, the person working gave us phenomenal service. The flavor was great and the chicken was crispy. The vibe of the restaurant was so chill. I’d love to come back next time im in town.

Google
This is the best Korean Fried Chicken that I have tasted in the area. Super Crunchy with lots of flavor. I tried the Garlic Soy Half Chicken and it was really good. We also tried the Waffle Fries which was a very large portion and were surprised how big it was since they didn't have different portion sizes. Best Waffle fries that I have had in quite a while with great seasoning. Must Try!!! The restaurant has a night club kind of feel. Very Trendy. Really well done. Service is excellent and servers are very nice.

Service is fantastic, genuine people. The vibe with music is emaculate. And great bang for your buck all this with a soda is 23$

Best Korean chicken in the area hands-down. More of a bar vibe. Snow cap is a must. Fried chicken, but not oily. It’s the best. Sweet potato fries, waffle fries so awesome. Bluemoon pitcher and we called it a night. Weekday happy hour specials. Sorry forgot to take a pic. Can’t wait to go back!

Google
One of the best Korean Fried Chicken places in the South Bay area with a large dine-in area. This is a perfect place to hangout with friends and watch sports games on large TVs. The fried chicken is very fresh, crispy outside, and very juicy inside. You will need to try all three different flavors original, garlic soy, and curry in different styles. Spring onion specialty is my favorite. The staff is super friendly and they know the menu very well.

Google
This was a great find. It wasn't crowded at all but their food....wow. We tried their spicy garlic wings, their tikkudak curry wings, and snow onion original. They were all tasty but just wish they were crunchier. Not sure if they're double fried but still very tasty. Service was awesome. Their spicy seafood soup was great - smoky and enough spicyness level.

Yelp
This is an eatery where what I get is actually better than the advert. posters!!! Food looks grt, big portions and is so flavorful! Beer isn't as ice cold as I'd like, but the food more than makes up for it! And our server (with glasses and earrings) was genuinely enthusiastic and helpful. A grt nite out with the wifey. My new go-to for K-wings!

Yelp
Just when I thought Korean fried chicken has reached a point of ubiquity that one would be hard pressed to find a new and exciting Korean fried chicken spot, CM Chicken has proven me wrong! For many many years, bb.q chicken has been our reliable go-to spot. My husband and I loved bb.q in NY and we love our local bb.q shop here in Lomita. The quality of the chicken and the flavor combinations were top notch. Last summer when we visited Seoul, we realized that the only way Korean fried chicken could get better was if it used even better quality ingredients. And then my husband decided to try CM chicken and we were impressed! Not only is it obvious that they use high quality ingredients, they also have some unique flavors and seasonings. We also love their tikkudak - chicken that is first fried then finished in a secondary process of baking in a charcoal oven. This means the chicken is extra crispy with a slight smoky flavor. It is delicious and will make you wanting more! When I heard of this cooking process, it reminded me of broasting that is popular in the Midwest and at first I thought it would be gimmicky but it actually is excellent! I also really appreciate that they don't drown the chicken in sauce, which bb.q is a bit prone to do. CM Chicken is now our favorite Korean fried chicken spot!

Yelp
This is a great place to go with a group if you're looking for Korean fried chicken with a lot of variety! This restaurant is really open and has large tables which is great for groups. Its usually not too busy so I haven't had any problems getting a table. They have a bunch of things on their menu but I usually get their chicken and waffle fries! The waffle fries are actually really good! Super crunchy and crispy with the perfect amount of seasoning. For the chicken, Ive had the snow onion and soy garlic tenders and both are really good! The snow onion comes with a bunch of raw onions in a dressing and the soy garlic is the perfect amount of savory. The chicken isnt as crispy as other places but I still really enjoy the chicken.

Yelp
All around really great Korean fried chicken!! Service was super friendly, and the store itself was spacious with lots of seating (though we got our chicken to go). I was happy to see that it took a while for our chicken to come out because that probably means our chicken was being fried fresh to order! We got garlic soy tikkudak wings and regular spicy garlic wings - I was hoping for more of a difference between the two because the tikkudak is smoked in addition to being fried, but that aside, the marinades were well-balanced, the batter was crispy and not too bready or thick, and everything tasted really fresh overall. Portions were also very solid. Wish there was a CM in LA proper because I'd go back more often!

Yelp
Not sure how they are profitable with these giant portions. If you want 2 meals out if your 1 meal, definitely come here. There's so much flavors to choose from, but my favorite is the snow onion fried chicken since I'm a huge fan of onions. It's savory and creamy, yum! The service is ok and plenty of seats. The ambiance is a little bit too dark for me it's giving romantic restaurant when it's more of a casual place.

Yelp
This is the place for some amazing Korean chicken. Love the snow onion chicken as well as the garlic soy. The inside is very spacious and the service is great.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious, almost frighteningly. The portions are amazing even if it's a little more expensive than other spots. The flavor was so good my wife and I had gone at least 5 times in a month and kept inviting others come eat with us! The only downside is that lately, they've been out of their Garlic Soy Wings and their Spicy Garlic wings which is a bummer because I probably would have gone a mother two times. The atmosphere is similar to a sports bar but not as dirty feeling. You could definitely come here with friends and family or just hang out and watch a local game. The service varies. Sometimes they are super on top of everything and sometimes it takes a while to get the bill, the receipt, and then boxes. However, flavor of food alone is why this is a 5/5 that I definitely recommend.

Yelp
On my way home from the post office, I wanted chicken and went to this restaurant that came up in my research. I should have ordered ahead of time as it takes about 20-30 minutes to be ready. However, I was surprised to find that the chicken exceeded my expectations. I ordered the original chicken and the batter was thin but crispy and crispy. It was a little spicy for me, but my husband raved about it. It was a good find!
google avatar

Ally W.

Yelp
The fried chicken here is very crispy. Several chicken items and sides were not available when I visited, so I only tried a limited menu. I think the garlic soy flavor is the only one that I liked. You just want to slurp up that sweet and spicy sauce. The snow onion flavor is a creamy ranch sauce on top of plain fried chicken; I'm not sure if you need that extra sauce, so I'm not a fan. Allergen alert: The chicken breading contains peanut powder. The service was not great. Our server never checked on us and forgot our drinks (1 star off). There was only one other table with a customer, so the restaurant was not busy at all. At least she brought us the chicken!

Yelp
CM Chicken offers a pleasant atmosphere with very friendly staff. I tried the lunch special garlic soy wings, which were excellent. The fries were also delicious, and I enjoyed the lunch special ramen, which was surprisingly flavorful and well-priced. Overall, it's a great spot for a satisfying meal at a good value.

Yelp
I've had take out from here before but never sat down inside to eat until this past weekend. Loved how large and spacious the restaurant is! The servers were extremely friendly and easily accommodated our party of 10. We were in luck because they had happy hour for beer- 50% off!! We ordered different chicken and sides and enjoyed them all! We originally ordered them a la carte but the server was helpful and suggested we order a combo instead to save money. My favorite was the garlic soy chicken wings. My friends enjoyed the snow onion chicken but there were a little too many onions for my taste.

Yelp
Review CM chicken Me and my partner were in Torrance and were craving Korean chicken so we looked up this place and decided to go. Overall we would give it 4 out of 5 stars and would come back if a few things changed. Here's what we ordered 1. Onion rings 1/5, so this is surprising because I love onion rings but from the photos of the menu we expected a thinner cut battered onion ring but what we got was store bought onion rings that you would see at a Dennys so I don't really appreciate being catfished by fried food. Either give us exactly what is pictured on the menu or change the photos. 2. Snow onion fried chicken 3.5/5 I think this is a very unique style of fried chicken. It wasn't for us specifically but it was good to try. Chicken was crispy but the coldness of the onions was a different experience and I'm unsure if I like it. 3. Tikkudak garlic soy 4.5/5 this is not fried but baked chicken. It's probably the best flavor we tried. Sweet, spicy and full of umami and not as guilty as fried chicken. Service: so service was attentive but we had a small issue at the beginning, there was a check in on Yelp for a free drink and we showed the waiter and he said this was only for take out but that didn't make sense because a check in strongly implies that you sit down and eat in the restaurant, not order take out. And when I tried to explain that to the waiter he just seemed really confused so I'm unsure if the wait staff is aware of Yelp deals etc or if they've been trained to deal with this type of situation. But staff did check in on us and asked if we were doing ok so that is a plus. Overall we would go here again but we would order different items to make our experience better!

Yelp
This chicken is phenomenal!!! So crunchy and flavorful. I would highly recommend checking out this place if you are in Gardena. Get the Garlic Soy Wings and thank me later!

Yelp
CM Chicken in Gardena stands out as my favorite Korean fried chicken spot, and it's time I shared my thoughts on this place. Having frequented the establishment numerous times, my go-to choices are the Garlic Soy Chicken and the Snow Onion Chicken. For someone with who likes pickled and spicy flavors, CM Chicken hits the spot. The chicken has a crunch and is bursting with flavor. The Snow Onion Chicken, crowned with savory onions, adds an extra layer of deliciousness, especially when paired with the accompanying pickled radish. The interplay of textures and tastes makes it soooo good. While I've ventured into trying the curry flavor, which is commendable, my heart (and taste buds) firmly belong to the Snow Onion Chicken and Garlic Chicken. The addition of the cabbage and dressing wasn't exactly my cup of tea, but I indulge a bit to sneak in some veggies into my meal. A pro tip for fellow food enthusiasts - go for the 1/2 chicken. This way, you get to savor the different meat sections, from the succulent wing to the flavorful thigh and breast. Eating around the bone is a personal preference, and I particularly enjoy the variety in each bite. In my group, my friend happily takes care of the drums, which, while not my favorite, adds to the communal dining experience. The ambiance at CM Chicken is relaxed, with a casual bar feel. While it may not be the reason I keep coming back (that's reserved for the incredible food), the spacious setting is ideal for large gatherings. Even during my evening visits on both weekdays and weekends, the place never seemed overly packed, creating a comfortable atmosphere for enjoying a satisfying meal. Whether you're a solo diner or planning a gathering with friends, this spot in Gardena is sure to leave you craving more, and I also had leftovers to eat the next day. I highly recommend!

Yelp
Food: Tenders or wings with the garlic soy. Flavorful, crispy and has a little bit of a kick. My eight-year-old boys love this place because of the crunchy chicken, which they prefer as tenders and plain. They also like the waffle fries instead of the regular ones and I agree with them. Fried squid - love the batter that makes it crunchy plus chewy tentacles. Dipping sauce is also good. I like that they offer lunch specials, which I usually take advantage of during my work hours. The Lunch Ramen is also good but only offered with dine in. Staff have been nice. Tv's on the walls. High top seats or 4 seater tables in one section. Another section is usually reserved for big parties that includes chairs and benches. They are open late.

Yelp
Decent spot for Korean fried chicken in Gardena! Place was pretty empty on a Sunday afternoon and was able to accommodate my large church group. We ordered the whole snow onion chicken, lemon spring onion chicken, and a garlic soy chicken. We also got a side of corn cheese and topokki. - Snow onion chicken 3/5: I didn't love the white sauce or the onions but hehe chicken was pretty crispy - Lemon spring onion 4/5: the lemon flavor wasn't too strong but I did like that it had a sweet flavor and nice crunch. - Garlic soy chicken 4.5/5: this was my favorite flavor out of the three flavors I tried. I enjoyed the sweetness of the chicken although it wasn't the best I had since there wasn't much meat to the wings and some parts of the chicken was a tad bit dry. Overall I would say this place was mediocre but it's a solid choice if you're craving Korean fried chicken in the area!

Yelp
Came here with my good friend Dr. Yoo (shout out to his dental office "Karis Family Dental" in Whittier California). We were absolutely famished after 2 hours of intense jiu jitsu, so we needed a place to fill that craving. Well well well... CM chicken was calling our name, so we answered. *ring ring* "Hello who is this?...CM chicken?...Funny you ask heh heh... my middle name is Korean fried chicken". "Please bring me your finest dish good sir" I told our server, and bring out his finest dish he did. The soy garlic spring onions chicken had me reminiscing of good ol spring. Ahhh... the season of spring... a time for young man's love to bloom... unfortunately for me, that is not the case. But the taste of soy garlic spring onion chicken made me forget my singleness heh heh heh. The fries were quite exquisite as well. The service was absolutely amazing, it was some young Korean guy who looked about my age either high school or college but he is a good man that I respect. But what made this experience the greatest was getting to share a meal with Dr. Chris Yoo. Thank you for everything Dr. Yoo and I love YOO heh heh heh.

Yelp
Had this oversea in Asia. Had to try it in america to see if it's worth it, and oh boy !! It's sooo worth it !!!! The chicken was definitely very crispy ! And the service was nice ! It's a late night spot to kick it and hang out with friends ! Would definitely come here again !

Yelp
Amazing fried chicken! My favorite is their snow onion. I feel like they go overboard on the onion but I guess the more the merrier lol They have a bunch of other fried food and soup. One qualm is they don't have much veggie options. If so it'll be in your soup. It would nice to have salad, fresh veggies or vegetable stick to counter the oily fried foods. Regardless the fried chicken is what I go there for and they do an amazing job with them. All fried to perfection!

Yelp
High quality chicken. High prices. 3.5/5 |Soy Garlic Half Chicken, Snow Onion Half Chicken | $43 Food: The chicken here is always fresh! Both the soy garlic and snow onion chickens tasted great with its unique flavors. The snow onion come with onions and white sauce to eat with the chicken, and the flavors of the 3 ingredients surprisingly mix well together. Service: The staff members working here are always kind. Ambiance: There is one dart board here near the entrance! The inside has plenty of seats and no outside seating. Plenty of parking!

Yelp
We found this great neighborhood spot with delicious KFC (Korean Fried Chicken) LOL When you sit down, they give you a water jug w/ glasses and pickled radish to munch on... very good :) Here is what we ordered: Assorted Tempura: Assorted veggies & soy-garlic dipping sauce. Garlic Soy Tenders: Crispy chicken tossed in a soy-garlic glaze. Snow Onion Tenders: Topped w/ sliced white onions & creamy snow sauce. The chicken was crispy, moist & tender! I had the Garlic Soy & my Son had the Snow Onion, both were so flavorful especially the Garlic Soy :) We ordered tenders but they also have wings and full pieces of chicken ;) Our tempura appetizer was cooked perfectly, lite & crunchy. The only "problem" is that the portions are so large we didn't need an appetizer LOL That's ok because there was plenty to take home! We also had lemonade w/ blue curacao YUM! But they do have alcohol in fact they have some pretty generous happy hours and plenty of tv's to watch sports on ;) There are plenty of spots in the large shared parking lot in addition to nearby street parking. The friendly service and clean spacious dining area are also great pluses. But oh man the chicken is soooooooooo good... Yep, we're coming back :)

Yelp
Eugene was super nice and was always checking up on us if we needed anything. Food was great and will come back for the food and service!

Yelp
best korean fried chicken within my vicinity. the snow onion here is my favorite! always a good time when i'm eating with my family here. the service is great and the shop itself is pretty clean too. highly recommend this place if you want good korean chicken :')

Yelp
Best fried chicken in the area. Always consistent and i like their options. For them to keep their 5 star rating they just need to remain open, and consistent. They are the longest tenant for this spot, keep it up!
google avatar

Lisa N.

Yelp
Really good chicken! The breading is ridiculously crispy and the sauces are so good. Their toppoki is not as savory and sweet as other places. I'd probably skip that option, but the tempura mixed option is delicious. Everyone is so polite and food was ready rather quickly considering it was the weekend. The restaurant is large and spacious considering it's a popular place to come in groups. I'd totally come back here again with more people.

Yelp
I've been here at least three times and I always order the same thing cause I have yet to get tired of it lol. Their original chicken wings are seasoned well with a hint of spice but barely detectable! It's delicious, crunchy, moist, tender, and juicy. They're also decent sized. I ordered the 10 wing combo with fries and added the drink on the side, total bill came out to around 27 bucks. I was pretty full and compared to other places, I think their prices are decent! They also give a free side dish of radish that paired nicely with the meal. The location itself is also easy to get to with plenty of parking in a shared plaza space. The inside also was really comforting, I like ambiance! The music wasn't too loud, it's a big space with plenty of seating, there were families there having a good time, and they also serve alcohol. And! Every time I've gone, they have the sweetest staff. They're always so kind and helpful. Makes me feel warm, fuzzy, and welcomed. So ...winner winner chicken dinner! Lol. I'll be back to try the other flavors for sure! Also, if you plan to call in for your order, the yelp number isn't working atm and so the cashiers told me to next time call the top number on the menu until management gets it fixed, 3107566628.

Yelp
The Gizzards were horrible. They chewed like rubber. I should have took them back. NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL..

Yelp
The service was A++++. Our server realized it was our 1st time and right away told us what are the house specials. He made sure we knew what was in each order. We asked about drinks and he was ready with all the beers on draft and even let us take a sample of a beer my partner was not familiar with. We ended up ordering the red hot spicy chicken. It was delicious and extra spicy. Our server recommended the Korean radishes. He put a plate for us to try. Matched perfectly with the chicken. This was our 1st time and it won't be our last. Everything was delicious and great sharing portions. Also, this location has lots of parking. The venue is big so it's easy to order and find a seat.

Yelp
Food is always really good....can't say the same for service. This place might as well change their closing hours to 11pm(instead of midnight). Once it hits 11pm, they start to kick you out. One of the guys just put the bill in front of our face without saying anything. You could tell he just wanted everyone out so he could clean up and go home. Doesn't feel so great when you're trying to enjoy good company and good food. I come here pretty often and this happens every time.

Yelp
This is my second time here, and the food is just as delicious this time as it was my first time. After attending a concert at nearby (ish) SoFi Stadium the first time, my boyfriend and I were craving some Korean bbq chicken. Living in the San Gabriel Valley, we have many options (including bbq.chicken). In my opinion, this one blows the other Korean chicken places that I've been to out of the park! The chicken is just somehow more flavorful, and the flavor really packs a punch! The snow onion is also something new to me and different from what I've seen at other Korean bbq chicken places. My boyfriend and I are a big fan of spicy, so yesterday, we shared wings of the red snow onion chicken along with a side of waffle fries. The server made it a combo plate for us because it's cheaper; we appreciated that. Delicious! The portion was generous, plenty enough for my boyfriend and me (although neither of us have huge appetites). The servers were friendly, and food soled was fairly efficient. Don't forget to ask for a side of the pickled white radish! They are also happy to give you more. This will definitely be my go-to chicken spot when I'm in the area!

Yelp
It's been a while since our last visit and it was busier this night than our previous visit. We're glad they are doing well. Service was fairly quick. We didn't have to wait too long to order or to receive our order. We ordered: Green grape soju. We wanted to try a flavored soju. It was quite sweet and tasted like grape juice or grape soda. While we finished the soju, I don't think we'll order this flavor again. It was a tad too sweet and now I am reminded that I don't like grape juice! Coleslaw. I like their coleslaw and order it almost every time. Corn cheese. This was a good batch. There were some crispy bits around the edge of the skillet. Yum! Chicken and fries combo. So glad we looked at the back of the menu. We were going to order these separate items. The combo is also served with a cabbage salad. The chicken was freshly fried, tender and juicy. It had the right amount of spice. Street parking or plaza parking. Sometimes the lot can be full. Enjoy!

Adrienne G.

Yelp
I really loved this place. Let's first start with the ambiance. It had a bunch of big screen TVs so it felt like a sports bar. Very inviting. They start you off with pickled daikon while you wait. I loved this. The hubby was not a fan. I ordered the snow onion chicken. Hubby ordered the garlic soy chicken. The sauce and onions didn't add as much taste as I hoped they would. I preferred the garlic soy sauce. The crispiness of both was outstanding! I also ordered the cole slaw. Adding the garlic soy sauce gave it a much needed flavor boost. The corn cheese... Corn and cheese... Need I say more? I could eat it all day. lol They're kind of pricey, but I'll definitely go back and try other menu items because the portion sizes are generous.

Yelp
was craving Korean fried chicken 2 month ago, and yelp found me this place in Gardena. I remember, this place used to be called other names before. I had the lunch special which you get a choice of wings or chicken tenders and you get to choose what flavors. there areany flavors you can choose from. I got the flavor what the waitress recommended. The lunch special is good from M-fri from 11-3pm. you get 5 chicken, fries, side of slaw and a soft drink. I ended up ordering 1 bottle of soju. they also serve wine and beers. it's a cool spot to hang out with friends late at night because they do close late.
google avatar

Quan C.

Yelp
Me and my friends ate here on Friday Night. We ordered the Soy Garlic, the Garlic Spicy, and the Snow Onion. The wings were probably the best tasting wings I've ever had, and the service was pretty good too. The Garlic Spicy stood out for being just straight up really good and right amount of spiciness and the Snow Onion is really great and unique for raw onion lovers like me without having that raw pungent taste of onion. However when my one of my homies went to go use the restroom, he realized too late that there was no toilet paper. He just said thank god for some cardboard laying around, and when I followed up with more questions he just said, "Don't ask."

Yelp
Get the Garlic soy Tikkudak!! Love the crispness and the flavor. Just know that it takes longer than the regular fried chicken. Spicy garlic chicken has a nice flavor too. It's a good combo to alternate between the 2 flavors. The radish... oooh somehow they taste so good!! I'll come back again for sure.

Yelp
I've never heard of Korean fried chicken until I tried this place, and I felt sorry for myself for missing out such delicacy for all these years. Korean fried chicken is certainly an interesting twist to the traditional American fried chicken, and the difference was immediately obvious. The batter was far more substantial, and there's a thick coat of glazed dressing dripping all over the pieces. Surprisingly, the dressing did not diminish the crispiness of the chicken. Each bite was bursting with flavor, with the tanginess of the ginger balancing well with the garlic and a touch of sweetness. I couldn't decide whether my taste buds were having more fun than my nose. I ordered half a chicken, and there's no way that I could finish eating all of it, but I certainly was tempted. For the price of lunch, I got a huge amount of chicken, more than enough for two meals. The simple side salad provided a nice respite to the richness of the chicken, and the pickled dikon was also refreshing. The interior is commodious, but the tables next to the window could be warm when sunlight streamed under the shade. The multiple TV's showing football and Japanese anime were a bit distracting, but they definitely gave a more sports bar vibe (especially while eating chicken wings). There was a single server running the entire lunch show, but I never felt neglected. I did go to the counter to pay afterward to save her some time while she tended to other customers.

Yelp
This is the best Korean Fried Chicken that I have tasted in the area. Super Crunchy with lots of flavor. I tried the Garlic Soy Half Chicken and it was really good. We also tried the Waffle Fries which was a very large portion and were surprised how big it was since they didn't have different portion sizes. Best Waffle fries that I have had in quite a while with great seasoning. Must Try!!! The restaurant has a night club kind of feel. Very Trendy. Really well done. Service is excellent and servers are very nice.

Yelp
CM Chicken Gardena has been on my bookmarks for awhile now and I am so happy to finally tried this place recently. I can definitely say I am now a fan! I came with a friend and we chose get their Snow Onion chicken wings and a side of waffle fries. For a combo it was $21.99. This was definitely a great deal and perfect for sharing! It came with 10 wings, a ton of waffle fries and sides of radish and salad. The chicken wings were excellent! It was crispy and quite tasty! It could honestly stand on it's own without toppings. The snow onion topping is a ton of raw onions and white sauce. Though the onions did bring some extra flavor to the wings; I will probably skip on getting the "snow" next time as I did think the onion flavor was a bit on the strong side. I also enjoyed the side of waffle fries. They also had a nice crisp to it. It paired quite well with chicken winged I can definitely say then chicken wings combo with waffle fries was not just a great deal but quite a yummy one. I left this place quite happy and full and am already looking forward to trying more of their offerings in the future!

Yelp
CM chicken is our go to Korean pub. Their fried chicken is soooo delicious, love their soy garlic wings. The curry chicken they have is also super unique and leaves your mouth salivating. Their waffle fries and normal fries are also on point- pro tip to ask for ranch as it elevates flavors to the next level! Service is quick and efficient too - the staff is always very friendly. Overall vibes were also on point - they will typically have a sports game playing which is the cherry on top. I can't wait to come back!

Yelp
I was super excited to see a Korean fried chicken spot open in the South Bay!! I ordered Garlic Soy chicken wings ($18) and it came with 10 wings. For a price comparison, the famous Korean fried chicken chain "BBQ Chicken" charges $17 for 6 wings, though their wings are larger. Still, you get more value with CM chicken. I will say - in terms of taste and quality, I still am partial to BBQ Chicken but this was also decent. There was a lot of sauce at the bottom of the tray that made a couple of the chicken wing breading get soggy- but overall the crispiness and flavor was there. I also thought the waffle fries were fantastic! It would definitely be more worth it to visit when they have happy hour for discounted drinks as well. Service could also improve here - the staff is friendly but we often had to go up to the servers to ask for things we needed since they didn't come by our table much! Even though the space was 75% empty when we went. I'd recommend coming here for a casual drinks & food spot. Ample seating inside and easy parking.

Yelp
I've ordered online for takeout as well as did dine-in and I can honestly say this place is pretty consistent! Their main thing is chicken that has been fried and then baked for the extra crunch and their chicken was juicy for the most part. We also got gizzards which was great but the sauce is quite spicy and we later found out their spicy sauces are pretty spicy across the board. Service is decent, not too challenging to flag someone down even during peak hours and our pickled radishes was replenished often. Parking is in a big lot shared with other businesses and finding a spot is not too difficult. Would visit again whenever the chicken craving hits, also points for opening later too!

Yelp
Ordered chicken wings and tasted like it was under a heat lamp. Tender but room temperature. Slow service. Wasn't very busy on a Saturday night.

Yelp
Another awesome experience at CM Chicken! We dined in on 10/1/23 and we had one of their best host, Jade! Talk about exemplary customer service, Jade was efficient, friendly and attentive. He was a one man show while we were there but he gave us his 100% attention. We got our food in a timely manner, it was fresh and delicious as always. We love the wings, they are so moist and juicy. They are cooked to perfection! They also have combos which are great deals. 10 pieces of wings any flavor with fries and salad for about $21. Such a great deal! We are definitely regulars here! Especially bc of Jade's excellent service, we became even more regulars haha... if there's such a thing. Plenty of parking available. They also have lunch specials on weekdays. Clean and tables always available. Awesome!

Yelp
Delicious Korean fried chicken with a twist of Smokey flavor. They have it down as the chicken taste great and sits well in the stomach. The wings are medium sized which is a perfect meat to breading ratio.

Yelp
I discovered this place one day after my boyfriend and I wanted some wings. The flavor of the chicken is so great! And the wing sizes are really good! They aren't these small little wings that you can finish in one bite. These have substance! They give you daikon with the wings and the flavor combination is such a good pairing! So unexpectedly yummy! I prefer their waffle fries to their regular fries though, I feel like the regular fries are always a little hard.

Yelp
10. Garlic Soy Tikku Dak (wings) Sooo yummy. I'm not even a huge fried chicken fan and I absolutely loved this. (They may have converted me) So crunchy and full of flavor. We came here at 12am on a Friday night (so happy they are open late). It took a while to get the food but at least we know it was freshly made! And the served us complimentary pickled radish! Not super busy at this time and the place was clean. Good ambiance overall.

Yelp
Fantastic service and lots of parking and seating. Located in the new growing ktown of Gardena, getting away from the crowded and run down one in DTLA, this is a huge improvement. Live karaoke at times and everyone is spaced far apart, so much space inside. Garlic soy and snow onion fried chicken, just get them. The chicken is not overly seasoned and just perfect. The portions are huge so bring friends and enjoy their drinks as well.

Yelp
Solid KFC spot in the south bay! We don't have many, but they are one of them. The wings are a good size, juicy, and flavors are legit! The service is great too! Will definitely be back!
