Google
My daughter and I love Korean food so we stopped to check this place out for lunch today. She ordered the red hot wings and I ordered the Mep tenders (sweet and spicy with a Mayo glaze), and we share the bulgogi fried rice. Everything was fantastic! Our server was very kind and attentive. We give this visit 10 out of 10. We will definitely be back again.

This past June marked the very first time trying this location and was a delightful first experience. I think Korean style chicken is starting to grow on us. Seems that Korean style chicken is starting to become more & more popular being that I've seen other similar businesses in the vein of Korean chicken popping up around the Chicago area. The food in general here is really good but that garlic soy chicken: MMM MMM MMMM, so good!! Ever since my wife & I tried the location in Hawthorn Mall, been wantin' to come back for. Venue is kept clean, the price of the food seems reasonable still and the service is super friendly. Hope for continued boomin' business for decades to come for the owner(s).

Google
The food was really good! My son and I had the spicy garlic tenders which were our favorite out the bunch. The honey garlic wings and the spicy snow onion chicken. We had a side of fries as well. Portions are huge! we had more than enough to eat and take home for a second meal. There is quite a bit of dining space it was dimly lit and they have a button on the side of the tables for service. Altogether I spent about 60 bucks for three different chicken dishes and a side of fries so all in all it was definitely worth it! We will visit again when we come back to Chicago.

We tried the CM Korean Chicken in Columbus Ohio and it was delicious so when my husband said there was one here we HAD to go! This location had more flavors and everything we had was absolutely delicious! We had the spicy garlic wings and the honey garlic wings. They also had a drink called crushed pear which came in a little can. It actually had pear pulp in it. When we sat down, they gave us a dish of pickled radish and a container of water. I absolutely loved everything! If you are a fan of friend chicken, you absolutely have to try Korean Chicken anytime the best place to try it!

Do you love Chicken 🍗? If so have you ever tried this place? Or looking for something different? You have been missing out if you haven’t tried this place. 🤩❤️🤩 We ordered chicken wings of different flavour..! To be honest every bite in that crispy chicken wing was worth the drive we did. You love spicy? Try the white sauce chicken wing..! It’s the heat of fire 🔥..! We will for sure back here. One of the best wings ever had in my life so far.

Google
The green onion chicken was fantastic. Quite spicy and very flavorful. The portions were huge. The Kloud beer is pretty good to. Great chicken and service too.

Google
Very friendly staff.  Wings are pretty good. It's a different style of fried wings but tasty. My only only issue was that it takes quite a bit of time for food to be served.  Overall, the friendliness of the staff made it a nice outing.

Google
My review is based on take-out orders, not a dine-in experience. This is also our first time trying it. Quick note: We ordered during a non-rush hour, and they somehow managed to forget our fries, and the kimchi didn't look like it had any cheese in it. In addition, their phone did not work, so I had to drive back and grab the fries. The clerk did apologize thoroughly, but I wished they could have made a new fries order because it was cold by the time I returned to get it, and the other food got cold at home while I drove back and forth, but I will not review based on this. I would appreciate for the staff always to double-check the order next time. Review: I have attached pictures of the food I got. The chicken they gave for the Snow Onion Chicken, although good, was terribly tiny! My hand is smaller than standard man, so this probably tells you how small they are... The kimchi from the cheese fries is good, but I honestly don't taste/see any cheese on it...so I wonder if they forgot to add cheese as well. I would consider these as regular drunk food and would taste good with alcoholic beverages, so to my taste, I think it's slightly above average considering the service, environment, taste. I will give it a second chance and try out more on the menu and perhaps do a dine-in and see if the size of the chicken changes.

Yelp
I have been here once and I got an order of wings to go. I received good service and the food was good. The restaurant was nice and clean. I came for lunch and took advantage of their lunch special. I ordered their 5 wings + fries + a beverage for $12.99 lunch special. I ordered my wings to be made with hot bbq sauce. The restaurant was some what busy. My order took a bit longer than expected. The staff member who took my order acknowledged my wait time and apologized for it. When my order was ready, I could tell it was fresh. It smelled good. The wings were cooked well and they were saucy. Flavor wise it was spicy but with a hint of sweetness. They were delicious. The fries were cooked well too. I liked their freshness. It was a good meal. I'll be going back to this CM sometime again.

Yelp
I really love their fried chicken. In my opinion fried chicken tends to taste the best when you eat it in person so I would recommend dining in. I love the seasoning of their plain fried chicken but they have really good sauces if you want yours to be in one. I would for sure recommend trying if you have not yet had Korean fried chicken.

Yelp
I've had CM fried chicken take out at other locations - this if my first time at the OG Glenview location. My friend and I came here on a Sat night to catch up and we were seated fairly quickly. We ordered the green onion soy garlic chicken tenders and the tteokbokki. The food was delicious - the tteokbokki was mild and had great flavor. I would definitely come back again!

Yelp
Food is good, but expensive--be ready to dish out quite a bit for fried chicken. Took off one star because we called 30 minutes before closing one time and was told that the kitchen was closed, and closing time was early (during dinner time). We haven't eaten inside, so not much to say about the ambiance, but it seemed ok when I went to pick up. If prices and hours were better, I'd definitely consider giving it five stars.

Yelp
I ordered through Chownow and accidently ordered from this location and not the Vernom Hill CM chicken. I called them up and they told me they would just send the order over there for me to pick up but when I got there, there was no order and I was told they dont work together. I do not appriciate being lied to, there was no need, all they had to do was say sorry, we will cancle your order and you can reorder it. Very disappointing.

Yelp
By far my favorite spot for Korean fried chicken! The chicken is always perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. I highly recommend trying the honey garlic flavor - it's a standout! I usually go for the bone-in wings because they're the most tender in my opinion. Another highlight is that they serve gizzards, which is a rare find and a personal favorite of mine. The portions are generous, and the seasoning is consistently on point, I also appreciate the fast and friendly service every time I visit. The ambiance is perfect for socializing and hanging out with friends, with a laid-back vibe that makes it easy to relax and enjoy the meal. I love bringing my friends here, as there's a wide variety of food choices and flavors to explore. This place never disappoints! Be sure to check their website for weekday deals and specials - it's always worth it.

Yelp
Revisiting CM Korean Wings in Niles, IL, and as usual, the wings are excellent ... Perfectly crispy, flavorful, and always fresh ...The seasoning and sauces are on point, making every bite delicious ...Consistently great quality and a must-visit for wing lovers ...

Yelp
- Good food, good ambiance, great service - Reservation not needed, don't think you can even make one - Will (and have) come back here I have been to CM Chicken a few times, but pookie's first time. Their style of service is more relaxed - which I appreciated - with menus stored at the side of the tables and a "call" button so the host only appears when needed. My highlight was the host and how friendly they all were when taking our order and bringing food. I had gotten the Soy Garlic Green Onion Wings and they were quite tasty! Their chicken always has such a good crunch and are covered in sauce when served. The green onions are visually fun and a good addition for texture and flavor when served in mountain-portions that definitely allows each bite to have a few green onion strands if you want. The soy garlic flavor was great, but compared to your typical soy garlic you may find with other korean fried chickens, CM Chicken has a fair amount of heat in their recipe that I would definitely be unhappy with if I was someone who couldn't handle spice. In between bites, I did munch on their pickled radish that they bring out with your silverware and water. My girlfriend had gotten the Honey Garlic Tenders and I think I preferred my soy garlic choice. They were good, but it was a different kind of flavor than what I was expecting for the honey flavor. Overall, I was satisfied with our meal and enjoyed the chicken and portion size! They provided excellent service, and if I had to be picky about one thing, it would be the spice of the soy garlic, but nothing that couldn't be handled.

Yelp
I had a hankering for good fried chicken and CM offers many flavors and varieties. I went with the Original Wings and wasn't disappointed. They have a nicely seasoned batter with just a little bit of a kick and then perfectly cooked without being dried out. Folks were friendly, the place was clean, and prices are average. I'll definitely be back. Not just to try more of their chicken but their fried rice too. Especially the kimchi and bulgogi). Four and a half stars, rounded up to five because I haven't been able to find any better chicken in the area.
google avatar

Cici C.

Yelp
The chicken is fried well, flavor is also really good. Soy garlic sauce and the pickled daikon are all really palatable. However, the price is astronomical for the quantity it gives. Maybe I'm not ordering it correctly, but like for 6 small-medium pieces of bone in chicken shouldn't cost $20. I think there are many other nearby kfc places that offer a fraction of that price. We ended up going to another kfc place to get more...

Yelp
I ordered half and half and it was great very crisp and delicious and employees that took my orders weee ultra friendly

Yelp
This is the best fried chicken spot in the burbs. Can't go wrong with spicy garlic or classic

Yelp
Chicken and fries are always so good and the man who always serves us is very cheerful and makes it a wonderful experience every time we go! Very nice music and decoration too

Yelp
Imo one of the best Korean fried chicken restaurants in chicago. The chicken is huge, juicy, seasoned well, and the batter OMG the batter is always amazingly crispy and addicting. I particularly like their tikka version (oven baked) that is extra crispy. One time I ordered a box to go, traveled 2 hours, reheated slightly in the oven, and chicken remained crispy. Idk what magic they use. Service is usually quick and attentive. I love the radish they serve to cut the grease. I am deducting points for their price. It's gotten very pricey, for the smallest wings order expect to pay $16+. The quality makes up for it though

Emilio H.

Yelp
Do not come here the chicken was raw service was good tho however this is not the environment to goon in ambience was eh, regardless if I can give this place negative stars I would never coming here I again, I NEED TO GOON NOW

Larry T.

Yelp
Why does a place stop taking orders 40mins before they close? The restaurant says 9pm close When they wouldn't answer their phone I showed up at 830 and was turned away. Literally all the lights were off a half hour before close. I love the food but if you stop taking orders and stop serving over a half hour before closing why not just say you close an hour earlier than posted time? Real disappointed

Yelp
Things has changed a lot at CM Chicken. I called and placed an order - wanted to get whole chicken - 1/2 and 1/2 (half Garlic Soy and Garlic Spicy), but was told that they no longer do that. So to get what I wanted. I ordered one half chicken with garlic soy and another half chicken with garlic spicy. Yeah, so two separate orders - seems very dumb. I also got some sides - rice, Cole slaw and large order of snow sauce, all came out to $52. The garlic soy chicken was dried, didn't have any sauce on it. It was dark colored so I assumed the sauce was there, but nope. The garlic spicy was perfect and would recommend it. As for the sides - all good except for the side order of rice. The rice was cold, not cold as in it was sitting out but cold as in, it was sitting in the fridge for some time before being placed in my takeout bag. Todays take out was bit disappointing. Ended up throwing out the garlic soy and the side order of the rice. I've been an advocate for their chicken- took them to my nephew in Missouri few times and now, not sure if it's worth it anymore. Maybe I'll give them another chance but I guess only time will tell.

Yelp
Korean Fried Chicken, how can you possibly go wrong? Well, you won't go wrong at Choongman. As a person who has tried KFC everywhere including actually in Korea, this is the best you will find in Chicago area. They are more on the saucy side while Bonchon might be dry sauced but this is more true to original KFC. Chicken is served with pickled radishes and side of carrots, celery, and Ranch. Come, order, sit down and enjoy with some Korea beer for true Chi-Mek (chicken and beer) experience.

Yelp
According to my husband "This is like fry heaven". They've got regular, curly, wedges, and waffle and every time we eat here he has to order at least two different types of fries because they're so good. But besides the fries they are of course known for their chicken! Always super fresh, tender, crispily fried and doused in some delicious delicious sauces. Haven't had any I didn't like! And it's served with both celery/carrot and pickled radish if that's your thing. Solid option for Korean fried chicken and fries are just as good!

Yelp
I frequent this CM chicken and they've always been super consistent with the food and service. There's lots of parking space, delicious chicken, and they sell alcohol too! I sometimes eat chicken and have some soju with friends after a long work week. I would say that the chicken is fairly priced considering the massive portion. They're most popular flavor is the snow chicken accompanied by a nice cream and white onions (which is a staple) I think everyone should try that first. The garlic spicy chicken has a good kick to it too! I would definitely recommend this place
google avatar

Yelp
This is the best CM Chicken in the Chicago suburbs. The tikkudak chicken gizzards really stood out and the chicken was very well flavored. Quality- overall very good quality chicken. I was a fan of the gizzards the most. The flavored fried exterior to gizzard ratio was the best here. The garlic soy and spicy whole chicken I got was fantastic. It had a lot of crisp and the meat was moist. Not a single piece was over cooked and the taste was unique. Much better than bonchon in my opinion. The original chicken with no sauce didn't have as much crisp or seasoning. It's still decently cooked but it wasn't unique. Quantity- a decent amount comes out for the price. It can get a bit pricy at 30 bucks per chicken. This was enough to feed 8 people though. Atmosphere- clean welcoming atmosphere. One thing I wasn't a fan of is the loud music (table was directly under the speakers). Service- the waitress was a bit slow. The people of this place were also rude when it came to bringing outside drinks in. One of the owners(?) watched my friend outside to make sure he put the drink back and stared daggers into us throughout the meal. It was Kind of a weird interaction and overblown for just a small bottle of men's health raspberry drink we wanted to try after coming back from shopping. Maybe be more chill next time? No one wants to buy your overpriced soju here.

Yelp
I didn't expect this to be that good. If you like K Coop you're gonna love CM Chicken. This reminds me of K Coop but soooooo much better . Don't get me wrong, k coop has many flavors to choose from and more to choose from but what I loved about CM is the perfectly crunchy wings . So flavorful to so yummy good . We definitely are coming back .
google avatar

Yelp
Everyone was super nice and our food came out in a reasonable time frame. It can be a little pricy but the chicken is shareable and good quality. We got the regular fried chicken. It has a great flavor, very slight kick and very crispy. The fries were piping hot and very crispy. Pickled radish was good too. Not a huge restaurant which is good and was not too loud or overwhelming as some places can get on a Sunday. I recommend for a fresh spin on fried chicken!!!
google avatar

Mebin A.

Yelp
The real ones know about CM chicken. The tikku tenders are a must. Soy garlic is the go to. Spicy is really spicy but if you are a thriller of a person it'll be a great challenge. The sides there are crisp to perfection. Always good eats at CM chicken
google avatar

Len L.

Yelp
I love Korean Fried Chicken but my favorite dish here is the Soy Garlic Fried Gizzard. There are plenty of Korean Fried Chicken around town but Choong Man has the only place for Fried Gizzard which I totally enjoy the savory, charcoaled grilled gizzard morsels for $13 and you get around 15-18 pieces. Comes in a nicely vented box that does not suffocate and makes them soggy which I appreciate. There is plenty of parking in their own lot. The ordering process is very quick. I highly recommend the chicken and the gizzard.
google avatar

Jamie K.

Yelp
The chicken was so crispy and juicy. I ordered a original taste and that's usually the easiest one to tell if the chicken's fresh since there ain't a lot of sauces to cover it up. And it came out way bettet than I expected! Would have been better if it comes with ranch since I ordered Uber Eats in my hotel room but just eating it from plain and you know what, it didn't disappoint from the right salty and crispy taste of it. French Fries is classic good, the Radish pickles OMG you can not imagine how good they go with the fried chicken. It's the perfect choice to neutralize the greesy feelings you get out of the chicken and French fries with a little sour and sweet taste from it. I should have rated 5 only if it comes with ranch!!! But wow! 这个真的很好吃,我吃的原味也很多汁,腌白萝卜是点睛之笔,吃了很解腻而且搭配炸鸡简直满分,量多而且还很新鲜,真的很推荐大家去吃!

Yelp
I am the biggest fan of Choong Man. My friend recommended this place to me a few months ago, and I still think about their snow onion chicken from time to time. The snow onion chicken refers to the fried chicken topped and smothered with onions and sauce. Initially, I didn't understand the concept of eating crunchy chicken soaked in a sauce but I quickly changed my mind. Not only was the chicken still crunchy, but the onions always cut down the oil and grease from the dish. The toppings served as a palette cleanser between each bite! My cousins and I did a "fried chicken crawl" in an attempt to find the best chicken among several Korean restaurants and we all unanimously agreed that Choong Man is the best out of them all.

Yelp
We took a ride out to Choong Man Chicken in Glenview on a friend's recommendation. @choongmanchicken_il First time having snow onion chicken and boy was it good! We ordered the whole snow onion chicken. Fried Chicken topped with raw white sliced onions and their special savory and creamy signature white sauce. The portion is huge and more than enough for two to share. In fact we had enough left over that we took it home and ate it the next day too! They start you off with chopped radishes, sliced carrots and celery with a great dipping sauce. We paired our meal with a Blue Moon beer and really enjoyed it! There are so many other interesting items on the menu that it is worth it to return here again and try follwing different each time. We also loved the decor, and the restaurant is family friendly. If you're out in the Glenview area stop on by to Choon Man Chicken!

Yelp
After going to CM chicken for the first time in 2020, I broke up with KFC, Popeyes, Crisp, and other fried chicken spots. I love the the batter that they use for their fried chicken! It stays crispy even days after! I always MUST GET snow onion chicken and soy garlic chicken! The snow onion chicken is my favorite!!! They top it with thinly sliced white onions and this Korean version of ranch sauce(?). When you take that first bite into that snow onion chicken, the flavors just trigger your taste buds to be as alive as it can be. Your eyes roll back! After you take that first bite, you just can't stop. I literally can never get enough of that! You can't go wrong with soy garlic chicken! It's a staple and they do it well! I've tried their curry chicken wings before and that was also amazing! Highly recommend their chicken. No exaggeration intended: it's life changing chicken! Service is phenomenal! Staff members are always great! Love the vibe there!

Yelp
Best Korean fried chicken in the area. Whenever I'm in glenview for Korean groceries, Choongman is a must stop. Tastes just like Korea

Yelp
Ordered from the Lincolnwood location thru door dash. Got 1/2 garlic soy chicken, onion rings and curly fries. If we were hung over, the humongous sides of these 2 items would be all we needed. Wish the 1/2 chicken had more than 1 white meat tender, but hey, good to know..'more dark and really great sauce too! Not sure if the comments of the chicken staying crispy is just random, but we found lotta of fried bits with no meat. Maybe next time we'll try the sandwiches
google avatar

Yelp
Got takeout. We had a 1.5 hr drive home. And it took another 30 minutes to unload and get started. we were too hungry to warm anything up, so ate right off the box. Snow Onion Chicken - Despite the 2 hours+ of sitting there, the chicken was still crunchy. And this is legit Korean chicken. Crispy, not too salty, not too huge. We tried the chicken by itself, with the onion, with the sauce, and with both onion and sauce. All 4 ways were great! Chicken was still great by itself, but better with onions (I think I'm going to have sliced onions with any chicken I have from now on!), and the onion sauce!!! oh wow!!! Definitely my favorite sauce of the year. Tikku red hot gizzard - been wanting to have some deep fried gizzard. this is the first time I've had them so I have nothing to compare to, but it was really good. It's $14, but worth the bucks and has great portions. Definitely coming back.

Yelp
Food service and ambiance are all pretty good. Can't go wrong ordering anything from menu.

Yelp
Chicken was pricey but everything was so delicious! I normally don't like tenders because white meat is usually dry but these were moist throughout the meal. Needless to say but dark meat was more juicy and tender. Crispiness was perfect. The soy garlic had great flavor with low heat. The snow onion was remarkable. Light, sweet flavor, not heavy, and it melts in your mouth. You don't get onion breath afterwards! Perfect on the chicken! I like the spacious tent for outdoor seating.

Yelp
This Korean fried chicken movement is concerning to me, mainly from a dietary perspective, because they're all so damn delicious. I find myself eating this stuff a couple of times per month, but I can't decide which outfit is my favorite. Choong Man is really good quality chicken, cooked and packaged expertly (staying hot and moist for a long time). They don't have a sauce/marinade option that I like as much as one of their nearby competitors. However, purely on chicken alone they get top marks. The best option is garlic soy. Garlic spicy IS hot, at least for this gringo. Some local places have sauces with "spicy" in the name but no heat in the game. Great onion rings and calamari as well but usually I'm getting just chicken, chicken, and more chicken. Plus pickled radish cubes.
google avatar

Nathan W.

Yelp
Choong Man Chicken (7/10) Snow Onion Chicken (bottom) had a creamy sauce and was topped with onions. Was a unique flavor and the chicken was still crispy even after drenched in the sauce. 8.5/10. Picture 2 shows Lemon Spring Onion (top) which was pretty average. 7/10. Garlic Soy Tikkudak (middle) was glazed with a sweet and spicy sauce. 8/10. Not pictured: ordered side of waffle fries and regular fries. Above average for both cuts. Would recommend regular over waffle for the value. Overall chicken was flavorful and moist. Some white meat pieces were dry.

Yelp
I decided to go to Choong Man Chicken to order Korean Chicken takeout. I ordered Soy Garlic Whole Chicken and Original Fried Chicken Wings. Both of the chicken tasted amazing! As I ate both the wings and whole chicken, it was noticeable the chicken ordered were complete opposites of each other and each chicken were unique in their own way. The Soy Garlic Whole Chicken had a soft chicken skin texture and the outside part of the chicken skin was layered with the sweet and tangy soy garlic sauce. The Original Fried Chicken Wings, on the other hand, were crunchy on the outside and composed of a subtle fiery kick to the wings. The subtle kick came out of nowhere and hit my taste buds. When it hit, I wanted more and grabbed another wing to eat. I love Choong Man Chicken!

Yelp
Fried chicken evokes a lot of emotion from different groups of people, and Korean fried chicken is no different in how much people rave about it. Choong Man is located right down the road from JB Market making it very convenient to make a chicken run before or after doing some grocery shopping. They have an outdoor seating area (covered) where you can enjoy beer, soju, fried chicken, sides and so much more. If you're getting fries, just get the waffle fries. It's a wonderful thing. How often do you get the chance to eat waffle fries that are made to perfection? The chicken comes in a variety of flavors, but you can't go wrong with any. Original, garlic soy, it's all good. Just be careful, because it can be spicy. Eat the radish that comes with your meal to cool down your mouth. Also, getting the whole chicken is a tremendous amount of food. The wings will be smaller, more bite-sized, but still messy. Tenders are also available, but come on... Good chicken takes a while to make, so you'll have to be patient for your order. Appetizers and drinks will make the wait easier. Even though Choong Man is a chain, it's one of my favorite places for Korean fried chicken. You'll be hard pressed to find another place that will make juicy, mouth-watering, flavorful chicken like this and still have crispy chicken skin.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite KFC (Korean Fried Chicken) spots. They have multiple locations so it's nice depending on where I'm at. I have gotten multiple flavors and enjoy the garlic soy as well as the snow onion but lately I've kept it simple with their original wings. You have the option of doing a whole chicken but I tend to gravitate more towards the wings. The wings are crunchy and juicy and just packed with flavor. I typically get a large bottle of Terra to quench my thirst and it goes perfectly together. It's also nice that they offer pickled radishes with your order. My brother likes dunking his wings in the pickle juice to give it a nice balance of acidity. The side dishes are delicious. They have fries, waffle fries, calamari and sometimes, a side order of white rice just does the trick. I love that the chicken is crunchy and never greasy. I highly recommend it!

Yelp
The service was quick, seated pretty fast. The servers were responsive and called by a button. The food was meh, the best dish was probably the gizzards. Very flavorful and moist! But the chicken was disappointing. We ordered soy garlic, original, and Mep snow. The original was very bland, but crunchy. The soy garlic was the best flavor profile of the 3. The mep snow was nothing to write home about. The complimentary radishes they served helped to cut the oiliness of the chicken. Ambience wise was clean. K-pop playing in the background. Overall, the gizzards and soy garlic chicken were standouts.

Yelp
The stretch of Milwaukee Avenue through Glenview has become a magnet for Korean restaurants. Choong Man is a wildly popular South Korean fried chicken chain that's expanding with several locations in the USA. But here, you won't find typical Korean fare like bulgogi, kalbi, etc. on the menu. In fact, they don't have white rice or kimchi, either. The outdoor seating beckoned, so the Missus and I turned into the parking lot out of curiosity, knowing absolutely nothing about their menu. Our server, seeing our puzzled expressions, was delighted to answer our many questions. Meals begin with a complimentary dish of pickled daikon radish (we devoured this and he brought a second helping). We shared an order of coleslaw, which tasted just like the good slaw you get at burger or rib joints, and then we dug into steakhouse-style onion rings that were batter dipped and deep fried to golden perfection. Told that "snow chicken" was their most popular dish, we decided to give it a whirl. But when we requested the "snow" (a mound of thinly sliced onions doused in creamy white dressing) to be served on the side, our server winced as if to say that's not the custom in Korea! We shared a whole chicken (bone-in, 16 pieces, with thighs and breasts hacked into smaller pieces). We tried the chicken with and without the "snow." Despite our waiter's light-hearted admonishment, both of us preferred without. Anyway, this was some of the tastiest, crunchiest fried chicken we've enjoyed anywhere (caution: even their "original" fried chicken is spicy enough to make your nose run). Hey, Korean Fried Chicken is the "other KFC!" We can't wait to come back and try their crispy chicken sandwich.

Yelp
Great South Korean Style fried chicken chain!! I felt like my Korean drama dreams were coming true. The plain non sauce one is very flavorful got the pitch of spice in it to give it a little kick. Their soy garlic on spot with garlic soy sweet flavor. Their waffle fries are $5 but worth it!! Service was good they have outdoor seating and a button call for any time you want attention. Side note: Since it's the beginning of the fall season the bees are out and buzzing all over us as we tried to dine on this fabulous feast. But at last we couldn't avoid them so we had the server bring us containers to bring it back home to enjoy. It was still very good even a little cold. However fresh is better! It's about $25 for a whole chicken and $11 for wings. It's pricey but it's a treat so yes good deal!!

Yelp
Last visit was disappointing.. I checked my cc. I've been to cm 7 times in the past year and the kid at the counter had the audacity to charge me 2 half chickens instead of a whole chicken... He said he's been there for 2 years and this change happened a year. Bullshit. I've never paid for 2x half chicken vs 1 whole chicken before.. Oh and while the bulgogi fried rice had good flavor it was tiny...probably a 10 oz serving with tiny bits of meat.. I could care less about the $6 that was overcharged. It was the dishonorable actions that are disappointing. I'll go to vernon hills location from now on.

Yelp
I really wanted to love this place, but something fell short for me. I will say that we carried out and maybe the dining in experience is completely different! Darn Covid....GO AWAY already!!!! We decided to order the soy garlic wings, spicy garlic tenders, snow chicken, and waffle fries. I did enjoy the flavor of the soy garlic, but the best thing about Korean fried chicken is that the chicken is supposed to be super crispy! And this absolutely was not!!! It was so disappointing! The waffle fries were awesome and seasoned to perfection. The pickled radish was really sweet compared to the radish I've tried at other establishments. Unfortunately, nothing stood out to me. The packaging of items was nice. I would give this place a try again...in person...to see if it is any better. But, I enjoy some other Korean fried chicken places better.

Yelp
There is outdoor seating for this summer. Great to eat outside with this weather. Korean chicken is so good. Very crunchy even when covered in a flavorful sauce! A little pricey but a great experience. Snowflake chicken is covered in a sweet sauce with a slight bite from the thinly cut onion. Never had something like this before a must try. Forgot the other fried chicken dish name still delicious. Had curly fries and mozzarella sticks. Their side dishes were great along side the chicken. Got to have one to mix it up. Pickled radish on the complimentary as well. Got some seasonal soju. Very smooth and a good amount for the price. I might be a light weight but I would say a bottle is enough for three or two people.

Yelp
We got here after the rain on a Sunday at about 4:00 and the outdoor seating was all taken so we had to sit inside. The tables were well spaced and the service was very helpful and friendly. K-Pop music is playing in the background. We ordered waffle fries and onion rings to start, which we shouldn't have bc we were so full and couldn't finish our meal. Between the four of us, we ordered one whole chicken snow onion style, curry tenders and spicy garlic wings. We had a lot leftover. It was also nice that they served us celery and carrots with ranch dressing and cubed pickled daikon. Fun, good food. Definitely a recommend.

Yelp
Food is always good. Service is quick. And the overall ambiance is very chill and gives k-pop vibes
