The theatre is well-maintained and clean, offering a pleasant and comfortable movie-watching experience. The seating is cozy, and both the sound and screen quality are impressive, making the films more enjoyable. The overall ambiance is welcoming, adding to the positive vibe of the place. However, the food counter service could be faster, as the response time while ordering snacks was slower than expected. Despite this minor drawback, the theatre remains organized and easy to navigate. It’s a good spot for watching the latest movies in a clean and enjoyable setting, and with quicker service at the food counter, it could be even better.🎥🍿🎬🎞️

Terrible service, I asked for a coke refill at the bar and was sent back to the back, took them 15 minutes to give me a refill, that was flat and bad, had to ask for another one, spoke to the manager if she could please get me a popcorn refill since I was back there and had missed almost 20 minutes of my movie at this point and she said no you need the bowl. I said I can give you my theater and seat number so you confirm my purchase, she said no you need to bring your bowl, she had terrible customer service her name is Kali. If she is following protocol then you guys seriously reconsider your practices because for a luxury movie experience where we paid 40+ dollars for 2 tickets this has been by far my worse experience. I don’t write bad reviews but this is terrible and honestly ruin our experience on the few dates my husband and I had the opportunity to do this entire year.

Google
We purchased our tickets over the phone in advance because we were using a gift card. However, when we arrived, the staff had no record of our purchase and seemed unsure how to handle the situation. Fortunately, they ultimately allowed us to enter, but the lack of organization was clear. Once inside, we ordered food and initially everything seemed fine. However, we never received drink refills, and our empty plates sat on our trays for the entire two-hour movie without anyone checking on us. After the movie, both my husband and I used the restrooms, and they were in extremely poor condition. Multiple stalls were out of toilet paper, and paper towels were scattered across the floor. My husband reported the same in the men’s restroom. The common areas also had trash on the floor and looked generally unkempt. Overall, the poor organization, lack of service, and cleanliness issues made this a disappointing experience. We will not be returning.

I’ve been here twice recently. I came for an 8:30 PM showing of Avatar. I had one appetizer and one beer. After about 20 or 30 minutes, I went to get another beer at the bar as the hosts stopped coming around. I was told they stopped serving 20 minutes into a 3 1/2 hour movie! What?! And just now, I came in and ordered a beer while I was waiting In the lobby for the next movie to start. The beer was $8.99, but she told me it was going to be almost $12. When I showed her the menu, she said “Well, our computers have a different price.” I don’t know why I even gave it a second shot. It’s worse, because I actually live here and this is the theater right next to where I live.

I really hate to put one star reviews but absolutely necessary. The cost of admission is not worth the experience. The staff is not customer service based. The seats are terrible(20 year old theaters seats are better). We are for a coke refill at the bar and was not given one. I would not come here ever again better off at Movie studio or AMC dine in. Don’t waste your time or money here. Go some where your presence is wanted and treated correctly.

Oh, where do I begin... Years ago, I had the pleasure of attending a CMX CineBistro opening at Peachtree Corners, and it was a spectacular event. We were even given a behind-the-scenes tour of the kitchen, and from start to finish, the experience was top-tier. Naturally, I had high hopes when I decided to visit the CineBistro at Halcyon, but my day there turned out to be a lackluster experience at best. I visited during the daytime, specifically because I thought it would be less crowded—and it was. The front desk staff greeted me with a cheerful attitude, which was a nice start. I had purchased tickets to see two movies: a nostalgic favorite, Hocus Pocus, and a new film about the backstory of Saturday Night Live. However, I was informed that if I wanted food, I’d have to place my order at the bar. Being that it was noon, I understood the likelihood that servers wouldn’t arrive until later in the day. No big deal. But once I entered the first theater, things took a turn. At first, I thought my eyes were deceiving me—was that lint or something floating in front of me? No, it was a fly. Wait, actually, it was moths. Several moths were flying around the seat I had chosen. I brushed them away, thinking it was a minor issue, but they didn't seem to mind my attempts to shoo them off. I moved seats, but no matter where I went in the theater, the moths followed, or perhaps they were multiplying. Either way, they made it impossible to fully enjoy watching this beloved cult classic. By the time the first film ended, I had a bit of a break before the next showing. I figured it would be a good time to grab some food. Looking back, I wish I hadn’t. Still, I waited for someone to assist me at the bar—and waited. For 15 minutes, there was no one at the front desk or behind the bar. I was told they weren’t making milkshakes at the time, which was already disappointing, and nothing else on the menu seemed particularly appetizing. When I finally managed to place my order, I went with a chocolate Turtle Mason jar dessert, fries, and a bottled water. Imagine my shock when the total came to $30—gratuity included. I get it, businesses need to turn a profit, but really? $30 for a small snack? Unfortunately, the moth situation wasn't limited to the first theater. The second one had its share of unwanted winged guests as well. This time, they were even more visible under the theater lights before the movie began. I managed to catch one on video, clearly attracted to the area where I was seated. Although there were fewer in this theater, the presence of moths was just as unsettling. Then the food arrived. The fries were decent—nothing spectacular, but at least they weren’t messed up. That’s a small comfort considering it’s hard to ruin fries. However, the dessert was a different story. While the whipped cream and candied pecans were nice, the “cake” described on the menu turned out to be a bland brownie. And at the bottom of the Mason jar? A weird, tasteless syrup-like substance that completely ruined the entire dessert. I couldn’t believe I paid $8 for that disappointment. In the end, my visit to CineBistro Halcyon was overwhelmingly disappointing. Between the moths constantly interrupting both movies and the subpar food, it’s safe to say I won’t be rushing back anytime soon. If you don’t mind sharing your movie with flying bugs, this could be your spot, but I strongly suggest eating beforehand or visiting one of the many nearby restaurants—Eclipse di Luna, just across the way, comes to mind. CineBistro Halcyon, please do better! I expected more from what’s supposed to be an elevated movie experience. #ashsaidit

Read the reviews before you go. You’re honestly better off doing the AMC dine-in experience. The food here was terrible, the popcorn tasted stale (took 45 minutes to get popcorn) and everything was outrageously overpriced for what you get. We didn’t even order drinks and the total was $47 (gratuity included) for popcorn, sliders entree and a crunch bunch for myself and my kiddo. The whole experience felt disorganized, we were told to order food at the bar, not realizing a server could come to us which is supposed to be the entire experience. I’m really surprised the service is this poor at a place like Halcyon. Major letdown for our first visit. If you’re spending money on a movie night, I’d personally try somewhere else until they can get it together. This place could be great, but right now, it’s nowhere near “luxury theater” quality.

Google
I went to the movies yesterday. Although the staff were prompt and courteous, the experience was wasn’t that great. First off The food prices are outrageous, way over priced. I ordered the BBQ shrimp which was $12.99. Well, it was the portion for that of a child. I got 6 measly pieces of shrimp and a piece of briquette which the shrimp, was way over salted, I could barely eat it. Meanwhile, there was a fly of some sort constantly flying around me. They really need to up their game for what’s supposed to be a “luxurious movie theater”

Yelp
Went here recently for a little movie date night out with my hubs and it's nice that now they have theaters/concepts like this where you can enjoy a dinner while watching a movie on the big screen. I had been here once before, and I remember there being buttons and that employees came to the seats to grab your order, however, this go around that wasn't the case. We were told we could order at the window upon arrival, but there was quite a line and we wanted to get our seats first. Once we got settled in, I decided to take one for the team and go place our order. Well, there were still a few people standing around looking concerned and the employee looked so frazzled and I knew it wasn't a good time to add to his stress. I quickly put things together and sounded like their system had shut down on them and people couldn't pay. Quite a bummer as we specifically waited to eat and enjoy dinner here, but things happen. The worst part was I really just needed something to drink and couldn't even get that. Other than the system issue, the seats were pretty comfy and the theater itself is nice. We bought tickets ahead of time on the Fandango app which gives you a QR code you can keep in your phone photo library for easy scanning. Hopefully we will get to explore the menu a bit next time!

Yelp
This theater is one that has assigned seats that can be purchased ahead of time online, which is what I did the day before we went there. It was easy and there was plenty of availability for a relatively new movie. When we arrived, the ticket person was at the concessions, and we entered and found our seats easily. The theater was smaller than I pictured, but very modern. The seats were large and reclined. We got there early so had plenty of time to order our food. The menu was good, but the food product was not. We got the bacon mac and cheese and it tasted like it was from a box. There are free refills, but you have to leave the theater and go to a special window to get it. The sound and screen quality was good and we enjoyed the movie, just not the food.

Yelp
I'm a bit surprised by the low ratings and reviews. I came on a weekday night. The place was empty. The front desk greeted us and purchasing tickets was quick and easy. Bartender was attentive and handed us our drinks and ice water. The movie theatre was clean enough. A lot of the reviews were complaining on cleanliness and bug issues. I noticed the reclining chairs were worn out but that was pretty much it. The floors were fairly clean and didn't see any trash around. The bathroom was clean too. The only 'inconvenience' is that there were no trash cans inside the movie theatre. I think weekdays at night might be better since I didn't notice any issues.

Yelp
I went to Center Bistro in Alpharetta, GA on a Saturday night around 10:30. The seating was actually great... plenty of availability and a nice vibe for that time of night. The movie itself was solid and definitely worth checking out. Sinners! Now, the food? That's a different story. I really wouldn't recommend eating here. For the price you're paying, the food just doesn't measure up. I ordered the barbecue shrimp, and it literally tasted like they just poured barbecue sauce over plain shrimp... nothing special at all. We also got the loaded baked potatoes, but they were super dry. We had to add a bunch of sauce, seasoning, and whatever else we could find just to make them edible. I also noticed a lot of people weren't finishing their food, which kind of confirmed it for me. If you're going just to catch a movie, cool. But if you're hoping for a full dinner-and-a-movie night, I'd say eat somewhere else first.

Yelp
The theater experience was great - comfortable chairs, clean theater. The movie food was higher quality than you could get at an AMC.

Yelp
The seats are nice and the food is good but the set up and over all up keep was lacking. We were told to try this location as the food is better then others. The food was ok but worth the other stuff. We came to see Guardians of the Galaxy 3. First of all the bar area where we waited was dirty. Tables not clean, old food on plates just sitting around and there was no one doing anything about it. Second the prices are crazy high... $6 for a sprite! And not a big glass.. a regular size glass that has refills but if you want more during the movie you have to go get a refill yourself. You have to have your order done by 5 mins before movie. After that they stop taking orders and anything more you want you have to go get. If you are going to charge these kinds of prices you need to get me whatever I want! $12 for a bowl of popcorn? And then I have to get up during the movie to go get more if we want it? Burgers are $17! Seriously crazy high! Then to top it off they didn't have things that were in the menu that we wanted... no shakes, certain candy they were out of and some drinks they were not making. Our dinner bill for 5 came to 200+! That was with an automatic 18.5% tip that they put on and then provide no service after the initial serving! During the movie my son had to go to the bathroom... the bathroom was "clean" but none of he soap dispensers worked they left the insides on the counter to use and the paper rows were just a soggy roll by the trash can. This was a very expensive and sad movie going experience that we will not repeat again!

Yelp
This is absolutely not a Cine BISTRO experience. We got there an hour prior to our movie. We figured we could get a drink and place an order for food. We sat at the empty bar. After a few minutes later no one came. The bar was closed and they advised me that there was no alcohol for sale? Not even at the popcorn window. You don't even get service at your seat. Also no food except candy. Huh? The bathroom was dirty. They didn't even bother to put the soap inside the soap units. They only had 2 staff members on a Sunday early evening. This was shocking to witness. Please note: The seats barely recline I absolutely blame poor management. This location is loosing A LOT of money in alcohol & Food sales. If this doesn't get corrected right away; their doors will close soon. Beautiful venue with lack of service! You absolutely lost a customer.

Yelp
Based on some of the recent reviews about service, I chose to just enjoy the movie and not order food. I found the theater very clean, modern, and well-maintained. The seats are comfortable, but as mentioned in other reviews, they do not fully recline. They lean back just a little bit, and the legs come up but they're still pretty comfortable.

Mac S.

Yelp
We used to love coming here and after our recent trip, we won't be back. The food is not, in any sense, worth the money they charge. They include a service fee and gratuity in the bill (tips which are split between the whole staff) and you have the option to tip the server extra. We ordered a speciality item off of the Jurassic World Rebirth menu, one we were told was just added to the menu. 10-15 minutes later, a manager comes in and says they're out of said item. It was an 11am movie. Odd they were out of the item so early, and that it took them 10-15 minutes to figure that out. We ordered the sliders instead. Another 20 ish minutes go by and neither one of us has our food. The person I went with left to go check on it and ran into the manager on his way. When told we hadn't yet received our food, all the manager said was "okay" and then walked away. No "I apologize", no nothing. Very disappointing service, especially for what you are paying. Our food wasn't worth more than $50 and it ended up costing $80+ with the additional fees and gratuity. You're better off going to an AMC or Regal.

Yelp
Gross. Terrible service. Go anywhere else to see a movie you seriously the worst movie theatre there is

Yelp
This place is not organized! I walked into the movies and there personnel was no where to be found. I went to the kiosk to obtain my tickets but there was no paper. I waited for the manager or staff members showed up and they finally showed up after about 10 minutes. The staff members did not know how to work the kiosk and he did not know how to work the computer which delayed my entry. The manager finally showed up and he was trying to load the paper in the kiosk but the tickets were printed and they could not figured how to re-printed so he just let us in. We never ordered food because the staff worked very slowed and they never got to us. We had to go outside a d ordered the food. Very disappointed in this stablished and the service needs improvement.

Yelp
My daughter and her boyfriend went to this location on the Sunday evening of the opening weekend of a movie about a popular children's doll. They arrived 10 minutes prior to start time, only to be informed that the theater wasn't ready yet. The were also informed that there was no popcorn, no soda, and no candy. They asked about a refund and then left. Run away!

Yelp
It was date night with the wife. We went to CMX at Halcyon to see Sinners and the movie, the food, and the service was perfect. The quality of the movie and the sound was intense. We noticed what we believe were two managers when we left and they thanked us for coming and asked if we had a good time. My only concern is how small the food portions are for the price you charge, and the small plates you serve it on. In the future we will eat before coming to the movie.

Yelp
One star because the movie was great ! We wanted to see Wonka and over a year ago this movie theatre was wonderful with great food and service. ATTENTION! Plan a different date - it is not worth your money. The food is overpriced and not good - the service is horrible - there is no server to take your order - you have to go to the counter to order food or refill your drink. Even the bathrooms are dirty

Yelp
"All ages are welcome to our Family-Friendly Films only. Guests under 18 must be accompanied by an adult 21+ starting at 8pm. Non-Family-Friendly Films after 8 pm are 21+ only. " I am cool with this place not wanting kids. I am cool with having exclusive policies. You have to follow your policies. My 16 year old went here to see family friendly Puss in Boots at 3:30 and was kicked out for not being 21 or having a 21 year old with him. He showed them the policy below and they said that the policy needed to be updated online.

Yelp
Just go anywhere else.... The ordering process makes no sense. You can't order to the staff during the previews so they don't disturb the other guests...you have to go order at the bar, but then the server has to bring it to you. What???, terrible service. Inconvenient service considering all the money that is paid to watch a silly movie

Yelp
First time to CMX CineBistro at the Halcyon and, as an avid movie goer and foodie, it was worth a try. I even signed up for an annual movie program with the hopes of a great experience. Dinner for three was pricey for 2 salads (one a half salad, one salad with shrimp), a burger, 2 popcorns, 2 cocktails, and one soda. It came in at $140 before tip. Pretty steep. The soda and popcorn promised unlimited refills. Unfortunately for me, the good service early literally disappeared - as in, no one ever came back. No drink or popcorn refills. Nor did we ever get our cocktails. Halfway through the movie, we had to get up and go back to the bar. And if you want a refill on that soda and popcorn, you need to run back to the lobby and get it yourself. Seems like a lot for a $12 popcorn and a $5 16 ounce soda. First-timer me pre-tipped 20% expecting service. Sucker. The food was good. But the value, especially for movie snacks, was very bad. I'd rather get the bigger drink and bigger soda so I don't have to leave the movie - and that would be 20% cheaper at an AMC (when do you ever say that). The theater itself was nice and sheik. The seats comfortable though I expected the oversized chair and a half I've experienced at other high-end chains on the west coast. The seats also don't fully recline. The screen and sound were fine. The noise of the service is bothersome during previews as all the orders are being taken and ordered. I didn't see any way to pre-order food so the delivery would coke before the movie started. The staff seemed friendly, but food was missing when delivered, and the afore mentioned bar drinks were never delivered. Lastly, as a new rewards member, their scanner didn't work and I didn't get a copy of my receipt, so no rewards point for me. So much for the 15x promised through the rewards program. So, I don't know what I'm going to do about the membership or whether to try it again. There was no manager around so I couldn't share feedback. If someone reaches out to me about this experience, I'll provide an update to this review.

Yelp
The idea is nice; but this is the second time I've come here with my family, spent over $100 and my seat isn't cleaned from the previous show. Disgusting . Couldn't even put my drink in the cup holder. I'd rather drive another 10 minutes and go to AMC in Cumming

Yelp
It's been over a year since we have been inside a movie theater. For our family that is a really long time. Prior to COVID, movies and traveling were the thing we enjoyed the most ((probably cause they both involve eating.)) We decided to take the necessary precautions and give ourselves a treat. We purchased tickets during a time when there was only one other family in the theater and early in the day. The parking lot at Halcyon was pretty full but we were able to find a spot relatively easy. The lobby was spotless, they did require masks and had hand sanitizers for their customers. The attendants was dressed very nicely and all the employees were polite and welcoming. It really felt like a fancy occasion. Until we sat down for our movie and Chris came to ask if we were ordering food. He, unlike the rest of the staff, was wearing dark jeans and a polo. Honestly, him not wearing his mask properly and his attire took away from my experience. I felt like I had gone from the luxury dealership to the used car lot. He was polite and took our order. He made it a point to tell us our bill will include an 18% gratuity which he would have to share with the rest of his peers, but if we added any extra it would go directly to him. We never saw him again after he took our order. Our food arrived right before the movie (a very nice young man in a suit delivered it). I asked him extra napkins and he told me there were some on my plate. My previously frozen seafood was crispy and it was not good. It came with a spicy aioli and cocktail sauce. The popcorn could of been warmer...had a nice butter and salt balance...it was pretty good. Not sure why they call it bottomless popcorn ((no one ever came back to fill it)). The soft drinks were fizzy and the Wagyu Slider were well cooked. The kiddos did not care for the bacon jelly that came with it. The steak fries were delish, but the Tater tots were ok. However, no one came to check on us or ask if the food was ok before the movie started. I am not going to go into the food prices because I knew from the start it was not an inexpensive place to eat. To give you an idea though we spent $25 on tickets and four times that in food. The theater seat reclined and were very comfortable. The temperature, sounds, and screen were top notch . I don't think there were any bad seats in theater 1. After the movie, as entered the women's restroom A teenage girl threw a wet paper towel at my face. She apologized by saying she thought I was one of her friends. Those friends were outside, where my Hubs saw them eating off the plate of sample foods outside the theater. There were no employees in sight after the movie ended. We didn't see any employees until we reached the lobby where the nice ticket lady but us good bye. Needless to say, I would return to the CinéBistro for the movie and forgo the food.

Yelp
I had the salmon and a bottle of Kim Crawford. Service was great and I think they got the salmon from ocean and acre across the way. Absolutely phenomenal .

Yelp
Everything was so overpriced it was crazy & my chair looked like this it was nasty!!! Bathrooms weren't in great condition either. Also they were out of so many things.

Need better management and have major supply chain issues; Out of $6 bottle water and all but 2 type of beer. Staff of disorganized teenagers and elderly gentleman walking around and talking during movie ruins it.

Unfortunately, this place is lacking in organization and inventory. I have been to this location about four times since they first opened. It's consistently been below par. Bar is usually dirty with empty glasses, dirty plates, and sticky liquids. Although the experience from ordering from your seats while in the theater is fun, they seem to be out of a majority of items on the menu AND certain candy. How a movie theater can be out of stock of candy in any respect is mind-boggling. The prices are very high for the quality and quantity of the food you actually ordered--if they in fact have the food you want. Movie experience....eh. Travel up one Exit (Exit 13) and watch a movie at the AMC theater, they at least offer IMAX and other more in-depth type of movie experiences than this place. I am surprised that this place has been able to actually stay open considering the frequent "out of that", dirty areas, and unreasonably high prices for basic food (like a cheeseburger $17+--it isn't a gourmet burger). Theater seats are comfortable and staff is cordial. If you want to just go see a movie on the big screen, then this place is fine. Walk into the theater, go to your seats, don't order anything, and enjoy the candy you bought from the dollar store (or anywhere else other than from this theater), and enjoy the show. Best of luck!

Yelp
We went to the movies last night, bought tickets online and checked in when we arrived. We were told the theatre was still being cleaned and to wait in the bar. There wasn't a bartender so we sat there waiting. The tables were all dirty, the bathroom was dirty and the bathroom door wouldn't shut. No one came back to get us so 20 mins later we went and asked and they said the theatre was ready. The theatre was filthy. No way it was cleaned, popcorn everywhere. They took our order, she didn't tell us gratuity was included so we accidentally tipped 40%. $125 for two tickets, two sandwiches and two drinks. Food came without the sauces we paid extra for. Our drinks never came, my husband had to leave the movie to get them. He was told they were short staffed, but there seemed to be a lot of people standing around. The restaurant saying is, you have time to lean, you have time to clean. I guess that doesn't apply here. The people sitting next to us ordered popcorn, soda and chicken strips. Their popcorn and soda never came. They were also told it was on the house because the waiters machine wasn't working. He proceeded to tell them, yeah we have horrible reviews online. Why would you say that to a customer? This morning I woke up with food poisoning. Shame on me for eating in a place that dirty. This place has so much potential but likely needs a management and staff overhaul. For $125 this place should be spotless and customer service should be top notch. We won't be back.

Yelp
I absolutely love coming here thank God for this movie theater spot I honestly dont know why it has low ratings i love the service , the bottomless popcorn is delicious! And their fully stocked bar makes it even better! This place is always clean and on a roll! I will not go to the movies anywhere else in alpharetta now!

Yelp
First of all we weren't even sure what theater we were supposed to be in and now you have to go and place an order... and they may or may not have it. You have to ask for silverware. It's definitely gone down from the fun experience it used to be. And we always used to look forward to the coming attractions but we had to sit through 20 minutes of kid trailers!! Wont EVER come back!!

Yelp
If I could give zero stars I would. I tried this place about a month ago and it was subpar, but The guy working the bar was very friendly and kind to my children. I gave the benefit of doubt and I thought It had just been a busy weekend that's why each bathroom was un-useable, no soap, mounds of everything imaginable in the toilets, and poor service at the refill station including the gratuity included without my knowledge and automatic charge on my card without my seeing the total first. Only to notice the gratuity added after asking for a receipt. (Not the bar guy) Tried again tonight and It was absolutely the worst idea. I was overcharged for food, that they served to our neighbors who began to eat it and realized it wasn't theirs and they asked them to pass it down. We were missing things from the order. They never brought any flatware so I had to go out and ask them for it once the movie had already started. Mind you waited in the "refill" line for 10 minutes to be able to ask for flatware. Tried to initially order a cookie with ice cream, to be told they were out of ice cream and when I went out to get the flatware... I watched a server walk by with a cookie with ice cream on top. Tried again tonight use the restroom and was beyond worse then the first time I went. I held it until I got home. I am beyond disappointed. Couldn't find a soul in the theater to address any of these things in the moment. Tried calling and no one answers. Will not be returning.

Yelp
Where to begin. They ran out of everything from food to drinks, service was inept, bartender was rude, the theater looks worn down and old inside with carpets fraying on corners and the leather seats are cracked and worn. I cannot imagine this place will be open in a year.

Yelp
Came out in Sept 2023. The theater was nice and clean. Chairs very comfortable. The servers were very friendly and took our order quickly. The food and drinks came out within 10min. I ordered the Chicken Caesar with Chicken Skewers. It was pleasantly very very good. Overall pretty good experience.

Yelp
Don't bother. Service is slow and horrible. Drinks did not come out until halfway through the movie. Only 4 of the 5 of us got drinks. Like ever.. Shrimp was chewy. No refills. Well, you can wait in a 10min line to get a refill of the 12oz glass of soda they give you. Overall terrible experience.

Yelp
We've had such a great time at CMX. I really hope that when it gets busy again, they maintain the cleanliness. As of now, bathrooms are always clean and stocked. Except for some cupholders, no other complaints about the theater and seats. Recliner is great, seats are comfy, table is a great size. I LOVE the fact that they give you bowls for the bottomless popcorn so you can share with your family, as you would do anyways, but they add the convenience factor. If you utilize the service in the theater hall, there is an automatic gratuity of 18.75% added (don't quote me on that percentage). When you need a refill of popcorn during the movie, you go outside to the window, ring the bell, and then once they refill it for you, go back to your movie. Soda is crazy expensive, just shy of $7, so keep that in mind. Tickets: If you purchase online, you will pay a service fee (unless you're special). I usually purchase at the kiosk or with the attendant. They offer super saver pricing, saver, and then prime time blockbuster pricing. One thing I don't like: If you are in AUD 3 for example, and you're a female. Make sure you go tinkle before the movie. If you have to go during, or have kids, you will need to haul tooshy to the opposite end of the theater. Then haul back to your movie, and that a lot of time lost. *Do keep in mind that after 8pm, NO MATTER WHAT, NO ONE UNDER 21 ALLOWED. Don't guess, don't question, just GET IT. Okur? Okay! Review Covers- Seats, tickets, and Popcorn. Can't speak about the food food items as we haven't eaten a meal other than popcorn and soda during our movies. If I can help it, all my movies will be seen here.

Yelp
Brought my son and his friend to CMX to see a movie on a Sunday. I purchased tickets online the day of for a 5:00 PM showing. The tickets were $11.99 each for both adults and children with a $3.99 convenience fee plus tax. This was cheaper than another movie theatre near me. The process was fairly easy and everything went smoothly at the ticket counter once we arrived. Our movie was at auditorium 6 and we were greeted by different staff members along the way. The auditorium is nice, big and clean. The chairs are roomy, comfortable and they recline. A staff member was present directing traffic. As soon as we found our chairs, another staff member approached us and greeted us. She asked if it was our first time and when we said it was, she went over how the food and drink work. She explained that we can order up until right before the movie starts. However, if we needed refills during the movie, we would have to go to the bar. There were no buttons to call a server. She also let us know that they automatically add an 18% gratuity to all checks. We ordered two unlimited popcorn ($9 each), 2 waters and a soda. The popcorn was served in a large bowl. The price is reasonable, especially for unlimited popcorn. I just wish there was a way to get refills or order more food without leaving our seats. Nonetheless, we had a great experience and will be back!

Yelp
This CMX is the newest one to open following Peachtree Corners, and oddly they are not the same...two major standouts is they serve sweet potato fries, and Peachtree serves tots. Secondly, the seat backs don't really recline here, which I don't love. I mean, the seats are still comfortable enough, but I like to recline more, and also you cannot remove the arm rest here, unlike Peachtree Corners where you can. So the rest is kind of high, and my arm was kind of falling asleep trying to keep it in my boyfriend's lap. The other one is way better for snuggling. Also, the veggie burgers are not created equal. I like the one here better, but the seats better at Peachtree. It's a tough call. The prices are steep. I mean, for two adults, plus 3 children was almost $82. Then two of them wanted a slushy which they don't have so they ordered milk shakes, which was $17 and change! Then we decided to get food for ourselves. I mean, come on! Going to the movies is an event these days...the prices are way too steep really. It's really bad when you don't even care for the movie. We have been to the movies three times in a week or so which is way high for us, and I wish they had a movie pass option. I didn't have a problem with service like some of the reviewers here, just the prices and the difficulty with how to choose between theaters with their differences. I like the theater, don't get me wrong, but shelling out well over $100 for a movie trip seems like a lot for a two hour bout of entertainment.

Yelp
This place has just gone downhill. What used to be a great night at theatre is now a night of a series of unfortunate events. They never have enough staff, always out of everything and the air only works in certain theaters. It's sad because it's a great location. Fingers crossed they can get it together and turn things around. On a positive note...seats are great and the one server that is here is very nice.

Yelp
Hubby and I went to watch John Wick 4. "The supposedly last chapter." We are happy that they recently announced "Ballerina, " a spin-off from John Wick that was to star Ana De Armas. Every bit of the movie was entertaining! We are big Keanu Reeves Fan. Have been since his days of Dogstar, former band. I still remember going to "The Edge" to watch him perform a long time ago, lol. Anyhow, the seats are super comfortable at this theater. The food menu was pretty good. I ordered popcorn, Twizzler, and a salad. My hubby ordered a burger and fries. Overall, the ambiance and the staff were super nice, and the food came out fast.

Yelp
So many things wrong with this movie theater. Got tickets on the app, but seating arrangement from the app is not the same as that in the theater. Tried to remedied with the front counter, but the staff was rude and not helpful. Had to sit away from the kids while they sat next to strangers. Movie started at 7:30 pm. Didn't get food till 8:30pm and and had to get our own drinks and popcorn at 9:07pm, almost an hour and a half after the movie started. When trying to get own drinks and popcorn, the same staff person who does tickets was there and as usual, extremely, extremely rude. Luckily the movie was good and we did get a refund for the terrible service, but it's not the money.....it's just how awful the service and attitude was in that theater. Do yourself a favor if your considering this...go out to dinner at a restaurant first then go to a different theater. Not this one. You can try at your own risk, but don't say that I didn't warn you.

Yelp
This is supposed to be a dine-in movie theater technically you can eat in the theater, however you have to order outside of the theater. From a window that was clearly intended to be the pickup window for the wait staff. We paid $30 for 3 tiny potato skins and two 8 oz Diet Cokes. That's not what we ordered at all, they were out of what we wanted (skillet cornbread and two Coke Zeros). The tiny sodas came with refills, however you have to exit the movie to go get them. I waited 10 minutes behind one customer to get my refills. This wasn't because they were under staffed it was because the other 5 people working in the kitchen were too busy joking with each other to help the girl behind the counter. As of that wasn't enough, My wife went to use the bathroom and witnessed one of the kitchen staff return to work without washing her hands. The theatre is fine to come see a show unless you want to eat or drink anything and then I'd recommend going somewhere else. We will never come back here again.

Yelp
Came here to see Wakanda Forever with our family opening weekend. We purchased online tickets a week in advance and traveled almost 30 miles because of the 7pm showing time. When we got there we were immediately disappointed. The host told us there was no food available due to an event they were preparing for-wait what?! How do you have a cine without the bistró for these insane prices we already paid??? My kids were hungry and so was I. We purposely didn't eat because we planned to dine in. If not, we could've gone with a standard theater. Luckily we arrived 30 minutes early to speak to the manager before the movie. We immediately spoke to the manager (AA gentleman with locs...sorry with the hangry-ness I didn't catch his name. He told us we could order food nearby and bring it in. So we ran across the street to a pub and bought some overpriced burgers and wings. Made it back and got seated as the movie was starting. We had to explain to the staff why we were coming in with food. Apparently they didn't get the memo, because they were trying to stop us at the door. It took us awhile to settle in and unload all the food in the dark-so we missed the first part of the movie. I'm giving 2 stars because the manager tried to find a solution and offered us comp tickets to return again. These are all the reasons I enjoy streaming at home-my movie can be rewinded and my kitchen is always open! Not sure if I'll return...at least to this location.

Yelp
Great place for a weekend movie! However, food is not so good comparing to the pricey price. A normal small burger costs $16.99 before tax and automatic tip 18%z We definitely will come back for the movies but not for the food.

Yelp
My date & I visited CineBistro Halcyon (Alpharetta location) on Saturday 5/29/21. We had 8pm tickets for A Quiet Place 2. We were immediately directed to our seats & browsed the menu for food & drinks. My date ordered the calamari & shrimp w/ no popcorn & the veggie burger + fries. I enjoyed the salmon w/ mashed potatoes & greens. We both enjoyed our food & everything was flavorful & a nice portion of food. The drinks were nice & tasty too. I had one of the tall margaritas & water on the side. I have read some sketchy reviews about this place & was nervous to try this location, but Im glad I did. The staff was courteous & the ambiance was on point. I would absolutely come here again, but probably to a closer location.

Yelp
Came for the Bob Marley movie. Bar was not open, and no one could get us a drink to enjoy with the movie. Not busy at 4pm, but the bathrooms were not clean, no paper towels or functioning soap dispensers. It is such a nice theater, but lacking overall service and maintenance.

Yelp
I honestly hate to do this. I usually leave great reviews, but at this point I've got say something. We have 3 issues at the theater. It's never the servers or servers. . It's the front desk. The first time was this summer, I bought tickets for my daughter and her babysitter to go to a Pixar movie on a Tuesday at around 1230. When they arrived the sister and my daughter were turned away because she was only 18. Maybe that's my bad. I mean a Pixar move at noon and they can't see because there is a bar in there. Then we took my daughter later that week on the weekend, order about $120 worth of food and then there was a fire issue, so we had to leave the theater for about an hour. They did not offer to recook food or even hit it back up. Finally, today I tried to take my daughter there, mind you this is a dinner theater for lunch and a move. I guess there was a storm the other night, so they could not offer any AC, food or popcorn. We arrived about 30 min early. . So I told them I run to a restaurant and grab something and be right back. My daughter had a soda and I had a water and we got a turkey club to go. At Halcyon that's about $50 bucks. Don't care so much about the money, but when we got to the theater he like you can't bring that in here. Normally, I totally get that. But in this case you think they could make an exception, since we were not told. A we can't when we asked 30 min before and be they can't provide the services they offered to provide nor did they say anything about it prior to tickets being purchased. I understand there rules but there is also common sense that should be applied. I do want to give a shout out Butcher and Brew at Halcyon, our server Mia was awesome and even know we left with our toga and came back to eat it in the restaurant 10 min later, she gave my daughter a popcorn and help save the afternoon. Can't thank the staff and Mia enough!! You all rule. Thx Bob

Yelp
Overpriced and horrible food. My daughter found things floating in her lemonade. Just a bad experience overall.

Yelp
Terrible environment. Movie theatre bar with a lot of television screens that has zero personality. Is it a sports bar? No. Neither bartender or manager knew how to change channels on ANY of the 20 screens. Several of the apps & beverage items unavailable due to mismanagement. Poor operation. 1/2 star rating for the power being on.

Yelp
Wow! What an experience in seeing a movie. I was here over the weekend, visiting family and took in a movie at this Cinema bistro and boy was I ever please. The movie that we saw Aquaman two was a great movie, but it was more than that. The food was incredible, not the kind of food I'm used to at a movie theater. They serve alcohol here rather there, I've never been to a theater that serves alcohol and it was overall great experience. The place was clean, the staff was friendly and polite and I don't think going to the movies back home will ever compare. Thank you for a great experience!

Yelp
So I went to this place thinking oh this ought to be nice, skrrrt pump your brakes, KP. I was lying to myself. I'm really upset I wasted any time and especially my money here. The place was gross. Food in the seats. Bugs crawling and flying everywhere. And the staff, what staff!? Couldn't find anybody when I needed them. I don't think upper/corporate management even knows what's going on here. I think maybe the CEO and the health department need to be more aware of how this place is being operated.
