This rice bowl is the definition of a five-star experience, even in a takeout container! The quality, flavor, and presentation were all top-notch. The savory sliced beef was the star of the show—perfectly cooked, tender, and smothered in a rich, slightly sweet barbecue or teriyaki-style sauce that was utterly addictive. Paired with the fluffy white rice, which was drizzled with extra sauce and a generous scattering of crispy fried garlic, every bite was packed with texture and deep umami flavor. What truly elevated this dish was the fantastic balance provided by the salad. The fresh mixed greens, crunchy carrots, and crisp cucumbers weren't just an afterthought; they were a vibrant, refreshing counterpoint to the rich meat and rice. The dressing (which seemed like a light sesame or ranch-based dressing) was cooling and tied the whole dish together beautifully. It’s the perfect, complete lunch—convenient for takeout but tasting like a gourmet meal. If you’re looking for a dish that delivers huge flavor and great value, you absolutely have to try this!

Google
Co May Bistro catered drinks for our corporate event for over 100 people, and I highly recommend their services! The drinks were incredible, they brought beautiful decor for the table that matched our decorations perfectly, and their set up was quick and seamless. Their staff is so friendly and easy to work with. I would definitely use them for any upcoming parties and events!!

Google
Love the peach black tea, peach & cream and Strawberry Matcha! My husband and I kept coming back for it. They also served good food. I love the Beef Banh mi! We held an intimate reunion party here and everything was perfect! From food & beverages, good service, friendliness and how cozy the place is to have an intimate gathering. Definitely recommend this place!

Google
We stopped by today for their grand opening. First of all, love their decor details, so sweet, airy and modern, definitely instagram worthy! We ordered a Vietnamese coffee, a matcha strawberry (I know, I thought this was kind of an odd combination, but it was so good!) with bobas. Bobas was soft and chewy. Overall, we love our drinks! My mom tried their grilled beef sandwich and approved! Will definitely be back to try more items on the menus. I heard they also have live music.

Google
The space is a vibe especially when the weather is warm cause you can sit in their little patio area. THE FOOD - the pricing is amazing and the pork bahn mi is my favorite. Idk what magic they put but the sauce is soo good and i like that they don’t put traditional pate as far as i’ve noticed i feel like it taste 10x better than other bahn mis i’ve tried. I was going to this place every day for lunch for most of winter. highly recommend

Google
I ordered the Blue Strawberry Lemonade and Matcha Milk Tea. The Blue Strawberry didn't have any flavor, but the Matcha Milk was good. The portion size (20 oz) is a lot to drink. I think you can probably share if you go with someone, otherwise it's hard to finish alone. The staff were polite and quick to prepare the drinks. Prices are reasonable. I recommend coming here!

Google
i had a great time here, just expected my banh my could have been more crunchy and more flavorly authentic. I ordered beef banh mi, the white sauce devaluated my experience. The coconut coffee was too sweet for me. Lastly, I wished there staffs would not have ghosted me because I am Vietnamese

Google
This small shop has charm in spades. The staff were wonderful and accommodating. I ordered the ube milk tea with lychee jelly, 50% sweetness. I think I’d bump that up to 75% next time. I also ordered the tofu bahn mi. I measure tofu bahn mi by my favorite at Jackson Street Deli, whose tofu is marinated and very flavorful. Co Mays was good, just not as good as Jackson’s. I also had no idea that they had so much seating. In addition to the bar seating in the shop there is seating in the courtyard. I always recommend supporting small businesses. Co May is definitely worth a try.

Yelp
Food - we just ordered boba and it was ok. they have a decent amount of options, but nothing you can't get anywhere else. will need to come back and try the bahn mis. Service - friendly & helpful, but not much interaction. Ambiance - indoor & outdoor seating. very cute outdoor seating area.

Yelp
The picture menu outside the shop drew me in with a strawberry butterfly pea lemonade, among other beautiful fruity options. I ordered without add-ons or adjusting the sweetness and it came out perfect. Minimal ice so it wasn't crisply cold; if it was a scorcher I'd ask for a bit more tbh. It had a great strawberry flavor from the purée and the butterfly pea added a unique twist and look. I especially appreciated the lid which seemed secure and had a resealable straw slot, helpful for avoiding mess during transport. I'll definitely come back for more fruity options!

Yelp
Came by for bubble tea during a 75 degree day ordered; *lychee jasmine green tea *Passion fruit green tea *Tofu Banh Mi When asked if the Banh Mi had either Vietnamese butter or pate, the worker looked confused and said "no, they have gravy, not American gravy but gravy as a base." That's not Vietnamese Banh mi, y'all. Bubble tea tasted really bland and not flavorful. I would say if you really want bubble and can't get to the University District or SLU, yeah, have this place but I would recommend going to the above neighborhoods for bubble tea instead.

Yelp
I just ordered an Ube milk tea but it was delicious! I was a bit worried because the picture showed the ube on top and milk tea on bottom but I am guessing they pre mixed the milk tea for me but I was relieved that it tasted normal and the bubbles were decent too. The shop is small but cute, the best thing about the shop is that the window isn't covered with stickers like most of the restaurants I've been to in seattle. This allowed me to sit at the window and look out into the street. There isn't much of a view but it's kind of nice to just people watch people walking by on the street and just existing while drinking your tea and listening to the Mandarin music playing in the background. The place was empty when I came jn but I got my drink pretty fast right after ordering by the cashier/server. I recommend a stop for sure.

Yelp
The place is just alright. It's the only boba place in the area but it would never be my to-go. They were out of the seasonal "specials" and the signature co may milk tea, and the matcha lattes I got tasted very watered down. Too cheap to turn on the fan or AC on a hot day, so the place just felt very cramped and uncomfortable.
google avatar

Nikita S.

Yelp
This cozy little spot also features a charming swing, which adds to its adorable vibe. Based on the reviews I went with an ube milk tea with 50% sugar and I'm glad I chose 50% sugar the level of sweetness was just right for me. If you prefer less sweet, I'd recommend going for 25% or even 50% sugar. The boba was soft and chewy, which I really enjoyed. Overall, I had a good experience, although I did find the Boba a bit more expensive compared to my usual go-to place nearby. I might try it again someday, but probably not as often as I'd like.

Yelp
Super good strawberry matcha (the strawberry is super good - I love the jam or compote - whatever it is) and the matcha is great! I saw them make the matcha. The pork banh mi was also really good! I love all the lemongrass flavor! It's nice when the meat is well seasoned! Parking on the street or bus stop one block away.
google avatar

Yelp
The bahn mis were pretty good. They are dairy free too if that's a concern. The server was very sweet and told me that their hours are until 5 but they sometimes close early, especially in winter. She recommended coming before 4:15 to be safe. This was helpful as I've tried to come here after 3:30 or 4 and found them closed despite the posted hours. The patio and indoor seating areas are both nice with good lighting. The boba options are also plentiful!
google avatar

Yelp
They had a stand set up at an event in international district and the spicy toast bowl looked too good to pass up. It was small but with big flavors. Could definitely have eaten a full sized serving of this. The toasted rice tea sounded good but I don't think I got a lot of the rich roasted flavor I love in things like this.

Yelp
Went here around 1/2 on a Tuesday and it wasn't too busy, had two other groups while we were there. The place is nice and even has a really cute outdoor space. The service was really nice, they even came out to ask how we liked the drink and when my cousin said he had wished he had gotten a 100% sweetness they immediately asked if he wanted it more sweet and adjusted it , no problems asked. Overall, I wouldn't come back because I feel like there are better options close by. But i was in the area and I wanted boba and couldn't easily go somewhere, I'd go back. Lychee with lychee jelly - 6.5 . I liked that it had lychee fruit pieces in there and 75% was the perfectly sweet, however it has a slight weird aftertaste / maybe a little bitter Passionfruit tea -5.5 It's just regular. Co may tea - 5: it's kinda weird, it has like a hint of coconut which isn't on the list. But then it's also refreshing

Yelp
Ordering for take out and was super impressed with how fast they made it but they didn't update the status of my order online until I asked as I did not want to bother them. The space itself is quite small butt very cute! There is a covered, outdoor space that would be great eating in the warmer months. They were very kind people working but the three drinks I got were not great. I ordered the lychee jasmine milk tea with boba and salted cream, thai tea with coconut cream and boba, and the ube milk. All of the drinks were watered down and was quite confused on why the thai tea did nor have the coconut cream which was weird. The actual boba toppings were the only good thing about these sadly :( I would possibly come back to try their food

Yelp
Great experiences here so far. This is a cute, bright, clean, modern space. While being small has a counter in the window and a little garage door that can open out to a patio (which I was miffed to see closed the other day!). I saw someone peacefully studying while enjoying their drink, and thought it seemed like an ideal space for it. The service is typically quiet but polite and fast. I've always enjoyed their drinks, great combinations, like strawberry matcha and ube cream, and I'm glad they have Vietnamese coffee as well. They have all the fixings, and like most Boba joints, you can adjust for sweetness, ice, etc. I'm not a huge boba person but think their stuff compares to everything else I've liked. I like their beef bahn mi's. Not at a level to make me go nuts, but quite serviceable when I need something quick and tasty for lunch. The baguette is crispy and dense (maybe a bit much) and the beef has a nice smack of lemongrass to it. I haven't tried pork because when this place was 20oz tea, I didn't like that one, but have been curious if it's changed since Co May took over. I'm very eager to try their musubi. This is a super chill and pleasant place, with solid Boba and snacks. I think this place should always have people filtering in and out, with that one or two people at the counter and the couple out on the patio.

Yelp
The honey and I stopped into Co May Bistro during one of our weekend walks for a quick bite and sip. He ordered a banh mi while I ordered the jasmine lychee tea - 25% sweet, light ice. While the cashier recommended 75% sweet, I am so glad I did 25% because even that was a bit too sweet for me. Next time I would probably go with 0. The service was friendly and prompt at Co May Bistro and their seating area in the back was super cute. Our only real neutral was that they don't seem to have a public restroom, which we found a bit odd due to how large the space was. All in all, my drink was quite good and the honey enjoyed his banh mi so we would definitely come back.

Yelp
I really wanted to like this place, I truly wanted to. However, it wasn't all that I hoped it would be. My partner and I came to visit Co May Bistro today as we've been wanting to try them out for a while now and we finally had the chance to. We both ordered the Grilled Pork Banh Mi, although I tried ordering the Grilled Beef but they were out of that today. We also ordered two different drinks, the Co May Tea and the Thai Tea. The banh mi itself was the very definition of "just okay". I didn't like how the bread was toasted, parts of it were rough and scratched my mouth throughout eating it. My partner thought it was fine but compared to other places I've had banh mi, the bread quality has usually been better. The meat was just also okay, but my partner thought it was really bland. Other than that, the vegetables and spreads were not too bad. For the drinks I specifically ordered the Co May Tea, but I thought it was too sweet for my liking, and although it was iced I wish the drink came out colder. I tried my partner's Thai Tea and thought it was also very bland, lacking in the typical Thai tea taste. I came here excited to finally try this place out but ended up being let-down. I don't think this place is bad, but there is definitely a lot to improve on. I know they're just barely starting out and I can also see a lot of potential for growth. But until then I probably won't come back here for a little while.

Yelp
Very cute decorated bubble tea shop. Street parking. Super friendly and helpful staff offering suggestions. Would love to come in the summer and sit in their outdoor patio area. Will be back to try the banh mi sandwiches.

Yelp
Update: they are now open daily, and have a grand opening Saturday 6/17 and will be running 20% off. Soft opening, 15% off drinks during soft opening period They have a similar menu to 20oz tea but there are differences. We showed up a little after 12pm. Unfortunately, they were still making boba pearls - it was going to be a 50 minute wait for the pearls so we decided not to stick around for those and just ordered other toppings I personally got the peaches and cream with aloe Vera- 25% sweet. It wasn't super "peachy" in flavor and the salted cream was not as thick as I would have expected, but it was still tasty and still refreshing even though it was a creamy drink. The aloe is a nice balance of chewy and crunchy if you're into that. There are a couple slices of peaches (looks like canned or syrup peaches?) in the drink as well which is a nice touch. Drink came out to about $8 after tip, even with the discount, which is a little spendy but i think boba prices are generally high nowadays. Looking forward to trying their food when it becomes available.

Yelp
We were a big fan of 20 Ounce Tea that was in this space before but without any warning they sadly disappeared. The menu is very similar to 20 ounce and the cups are the same size. We didn't like that the tea isn't as strong as it could be and like 20 ounce. It was a weak and watery drink compared to other popular places. The boba was fresh, which we appreciated. We got the brown sugar milk tea and the Eastlake milk tea both with the Assam tea but the brown sugar one was way better and cost less by $0.75. This place is was PACKED at lunch time. We had to wait 30 minutes total - ordering and waiting for our order. The banh mi was just okay and I didn't care for their "special sauce." The spam musubi lacked the umami flavor and it was not as flavorful as it could be. What bumped it up a 1/2 star since we would've rated it as 2.5 was the staff was super nice. She was thoughtful and told us we would need to wait to order, and was thorough with the order and answering questions we had. There was one girl working the front without any help and a couple different girls brought out sandwiches from time to time. They are understaffed since there's usually 2 out front before to help with the complexity of most of the orders. They opened up the space and added tables so there's more seating options than the bar seating. If they steeped the tea longer and changed the banh mi recipe we'd be back. They also charge $1 for a milk alternative. With 2 regular bobas, 2 sandwiches, and 2 spam musubi's the total was $46. Quite steep for what you get.

Yelp
Solid banh mi, deliciously sweet boba milk teas, and friendly service. Reasonable prices for the neighborhood makes this a great lunch spot on the go! I also recommend taking it to go and eating it along Lake Union.

Yelp
Co May very much still feels like 20 oz, so I can't help but compare the two. The drink menus look very similar, and I have read that they inherited the recipes. However for some reason, I feel like the drinks aren't the same. I typically get the jasmine milk tea, and while 20 oz was really inconsistent, I did *really* enjoy the drink when they got it right. Co May is very consistent from my trips, but I haven't gotten the drink as good as when 20 oz got it right. Honestly, I can't tell if it's my memory or what... It still has a prominent and beautiful jasmine flavor and is the perfect sweetness level at 25% but it doesn't taste "as unique" as I recall. It's still a very good option in the city, especially in Eastlake. I never got the banh mi from 20 oz, so no comparisons there. I tried the pork banh mi today, and I enjoyed it. It wasn't the best banh mi I have had, but it was up there, and a really really good option for Eastlake. I liked how perfectly toasted the bread was (and it wasn't tough like it can be elsewhere). The meat was well cooked and had great flavor without being overly salty. I did wish the cilantro was chopped more as sometimes I would take bites and then have to slurp up the whole cilantro stock (is this a me problem?). Overall, Co May is a great option in Eastlake for high quality bubble tea and banh mi. I can see myself being a regular, but of course I still have nostalgia for what was once here. Also I think it's hilarious that they left the "bathroom closed for cleaning" sign up. I feel it is only right, as that was always there.

Yelp
The only bubble tea place and banh mi place in the Eastlake area of Seattle and it is the place to go in Eastlake if you get a craving for it. The pork banh mi is really good and they make each sandwich fresh to order. The drinks are made right in front of you and the Eastlake is a nice black tea. Food A really simple menu with either beef, chicken, pork, or tofu banh mi. The sandwiches are packed with meat along the entirety of the bread. The bread is very soft and crisp on the outside. I hate it when the bread is old, stale, and hurts to eat but I've never had this issue at Comay. A good amount of fresh vegetables to balance out the meal! I've had the Eastlake tea, strawberry matcha, and ube milk tea and they are all solid choices. Boba is soft and chewy. Atmosphere A small cafe that's really best for walking in and taking out the food. There is maybe five high top chairs along the windows. The garage door is opened during the summer to allow for more seating, but not sure what they will do in the Seattle winter. Noise level is pretty low. Pricing Banh mi prices are average and are significantly cheaper than any other food you will find along Eastlake. I think Comay has some of the best and cheapest food you will find in Eastlake. Bubble tea prices are average compared to other bubble tea places. Service The staff is friendly and service is good. Can be a little bit of a wait during lunch since they seem to get pretty busy. Other Street parking only along Eastlake.

Yelp
DELICIOUS boba! I was looking for 20 oz tea and found out they rebranded to Co May but the drinks are just as good as I remember! I was really impressed with their interior design and layout. It was super comfy and great vibes all around. The staff was more than friendly and made me even more willing to pay a pretty penny for my drink.
google avatar

Yelp
Just stopped by today, super friendly staff. We ordered the Pork banh mi which was delicious, the Thai tea and the strawberry milk tea, everything was so refreshing and good. They allowed us to bring our corgi in and even gave her a treat! Definitely will be back!
google avatar

Michele S.

Yelp
I visited Co May during their soft open and was so pleased to see this new business here, especially since they plan to have banh mi, which you can't currently get in the neighborhood. My Thai tea was great! Service and ambiance were both lovely, especially considering it was their first weekend open. Looking forward to enjoying!
google avatar

Alex N.

Yelp
Grand Opening yesterday! The place took over where 20 oz was located. The ube milk tea was delicious! The boba was a little bit lackluster being small and not so chewy. The Thai tea was okay too, wished they had more cream. Overall good spot for unique drinks, I'd come back!

Brandon D.

Yelp
Really delicious milk tea, though quality depends on who's behind the counter actually making it. The nice woman who works the counter definitely makes the best tea! The bahn mi is really good also. And they've got a nice spot to chill and eats that's outdoors when it's sunny.

Yelp
New banh mi and boba shop replacing 20oz in Eastlake. Pretty much the same store but now with food! Grilled pork banh mi (4/5): Ended up getting the grilled pork banh mi for $9. Great price point for what you are getting with strong flavors inside a crispy baguette. The pork did seem saucy and felt like it was stewed or braised than grilled. But could be a preference thing. Decided against getting a drink as the drinks did seem somewhat pricy. But it is similar to 20oz prices and inflation is a thing I suppose. Overall a really solid addition to the neighborhood that is otherwise lacking in food choices!
google avatar

CJ B.

Yelp
Worth a detour. The banh mis are really good and the cute shaded patio is a nice place to savor them. The pineapple slushy drink with strawberry is also worth trying.
google avatar

Carla M.

Yelp
Extremely slow service. I got the brown sugar milk tea and it was decent. My brother ordered boba milk tea and his order didn't have boba. They seem very understaffed
google avatar

Bridget M.

Yelp
We frequently visited the previous boba shop at this location and thoroughly enjoyed their drinks. We tried Co'May during their soft opening because we love boba and the drinks and store ambience were quite similar to 20 Oz Tea. Overall, the drinks are fairly good; however, we just don't find that they compare to the previous boba drinks made by 20 Oz Tea. You definitely get a good amount of drink for the price and the staff are always friendly. Will certainly keep coming back because of close proximity, just slightly not as enjoyable as before.
google avatar

Stephanie V.

Yelp
The staff was super nice and recommended great drinks! Ended up trying the ube milk tea and it was not only beautiful but delicious! They gave a good amount of boba too! Their seating area was also very cute! Will definitely come again to try their other drinks!
google avatar

Britt H.

Yelp
I ordered the ube milk tea with boba and it was really good however I wish it had more boba in it. Service was a bit slow however the guy making my drink was decent. Price of my drink was a bit higher than other boba places however as another Yelp reviewer mentioned it's worth it. Overall, I'd come back here again and I definitely recommend it!

Yelp
A hidden gem this place is. The Bahn Mi sandwiches are amazing. From the crispy on the outside/fluffy on the inside French breads to the bbq pork and the other flavorful ingredients you can't go wrong here. The prices are reasonable considering. There is a selection of milk tea with & without boba. Friendly and efficient service from Houston and the entire staff. Thank you.

Yelp
The ube milk tea was nice! Have to try the banh mi next time. The interior designing is very nice and is a good place to get work done and study.

Yelp
Food is good and they are consistent! I always get the sandwich and drink combo. The staff is always nice too. Whether I call it in or order in store I get my food quick too!

Yelp
This place is really good. I had the pork banh mi and it was one of the best I have had. Packed with meat that was nicely seasoned and very tender. The bread was so fresh and had the perfect crunch/softness to it. I scarfed it down. And the Co May Tea tasted like summer in glass. I haven't been since it was 20 oz and that was a huge mistake b/c I have been missing out. If you want a great lunch especially if you are going down to the water this is a perfect spot. Service was great as well. They are very nice and friendly. I will definitely be a repeat customer.
google avatar

Yelp
Drinks are so good! Can't go wrong with peach or lychee. Can actually taste the tea and fruit! Pork Bah min is delish too!!
google avatar

Andy C.

Yelp
Co May replaced what used to be 20 oz tea, but they still have many of their previous drinks. I got the ube milk tea and it is still one of the best in Seattle. They also sell banh mi Vietnamese sandwiches. I will be back to try their other drinks and maybe a sandwich.

Max S.

Yelp
Zero stars. I love banh mi and I really wanted to like this place. These are just not good. Meat portions are small and generally not authentic. Chicken was just shredded rotisserie chicken that came with multiple pieces of cartilage and bone in it! I know the price is cheap but that's just pathetic. Fix your sandwiches, maybe add a few other food items to the menu, or allow someone else to do banh mi justice.

King C.

Yelp
Great place, super friendly staff ! Their signature Com May Tea is heavenly and their Banh Mi's are delicious as well

Yelp
Love this new boba shop so much!! It's so cute inside and their drinks are so yummy. I had their Cô May tea and even though I generally don't like black tea, this one was delicious. It was so interesting with the lemongrass and orange juice but it worked so well together. Their desserts and Banh mi are a must try as well! Highly recommend this place!

Max D.

Yelp
I've been to Co May a few times now because I live in the area, I'm definitely a fan. I haven't tried the Bahn Mi yet but I've really enjoyed the milk teas I've gotten. The patio area is also a great place to eat and chat with friends.
