Nice experience. Fresh oysters. Liked the calamari. Other guests said the scallops were great- not overcooked. The crab soup had great flavor but not much meat.

Google
Coast is an amazing restaurant. It's location is quaint, down hutson alley in downtown Charleston. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They have a wide range of fresh seafood, including the catch of the day. I only rated it lower because it seemed dirty. My table didn't even have salt and pepper at it. It almost felt like they didn't even wipe it in between the last people who ate there.

Google
Very good! Must do in Charleston. Thomas was our server, Hailey was our bartender, and Rob is the manager. 'Hailgarita' was amazing. Jambalaya was delicious, as well as the swordfish, flounder, and bass. Side of grits were the best we've had in SC. Fried apple dessert was a great close to the evening.

Coast Bar & Grill is a hidden gem in Charleston! Tucked inside a historic warehouse, the space has that perfect mix of coastal charm and laid-back vibes. The seafood here is incredible—you can really taste the difference in the wood-grilled fish and oysters. Everything has this deep, smoky flavor thanks to their custom hickory and oak grill. We came by during happy hour (4:30–6PM daily at the bar) and it was such a good move—great drinks, solid bites, and a super chill atmosphere. The crab dip was a must-try—creamy, loaded with flavor, and served with grilled bread. We also had the salt & pepper calamari (so crispy and that sriracha aioli is no joke) and the crab soup, which was rich and comforting. For mains, I got the grilled spicy adobo shrimp with cheese grits and pineapple chili salsa—such a fun combo of sweet heat. My partner had the pan-seared scallops and hasn’t stopped talking about the bacon cheese grits and blue crab étouffée. We lucked out and caught live music in Hutson Alley with Ronnie Johnson—such a great local touch. Also, a nice bonus: they’re part of the Holy City Hospitality group, so you can earn rewards for dining here. Don’t skip dessert—the apple “fries” and chocolate mousse cake are the perfect ending to an unforgettable meal. Can’t wait to come back!

We enjoyed Coast on our trip to Charleston. We had reservations so quickly seated and our waiter was super nice! Coast is located in Hutson Alley. The vibes of this place 10/10. The crab dip was our favorite from all the things we ordered. Fried shrimp coming in second.

Google
We had dinner here and even though it was crowded, the service was really fast. Our server, Thomas, was very knowledgeable. The red snapper with mashed potatoes was delicious. The fish was very moist and mildly spicy. The seared scallops were amazing, cooked to perfection. The bacon cheese grits were tasty and didn’t have an overpowering taste of cheese.

Google
START YOUR ENGINES!! This place is rocking. Great food, fast and friendly service make it an excellent experience. Zach and Lucas held down the bar and provided great service. I ate here two nights in a row because it was so good. I had the crab and artichoke dip, crab soup, shrimp and grits, and salmon. Everything was exceptional. Fresh, hot, and super flavorful. If you haven’t been here, you’re missing out.

Google
We had a wonderful dinner at Coast. Our appetizer and entrees were delicious! Our server Hailey, was wonderful. She was extremely kind and attentive. We will definitely return when we’re in the area!

Yelp
I wish I took more pictures than just my plate! Although it was so worth it!! Cooked perfectly with all the flavor!! Hailey was an absolute gem of server! She was patient with the group I was with and had all the best recommendations! From the wine to the desert! GET THE APPLE FRIES A LA MODE!! This restaurant is going on the list of musts!!

Yelp
Fresh Oysters were horrible, sent them back , looked like they were opened a week ago. The cocktail sauce was pure ketchup, my observation. Kelly our server needs to go back to server school. NO ice cream in stock , the coffee was the worst, undrinkable , like it was brewed yesterday. The whole experience was a disaster & $$$$$$$$ crazy.

Yelp
**DID NOT EAT THE FOOD - SERVICE ONLY REVIEW** My fiancé and I are visiting Charleston and had reservations for two at 7:15 PM. We specifically requested a booth or window seat... if possible. We arrived at 7:05 PM, checked in, and patiently waited for the hostesses to seat us. FOUR parties arrived after us ( a party of 6, 2 parties of 2 and 1 party of 4), some without reservations or with reservations at the same time we had scheduled, and they were seated immediately (we stood next to the hostess stand so we heard/saw everything). We waited next to the hostess stand for 15 minutes after our reservation time and 30 minutes in total (from the time we arrived because we got there earlier than our reservation). The hostesses were very rude and dismissive. Eventually, my fiancé, who is much more polite than I am, approached them (on my request) and said, "Hey, we checked in a minute ago. Just wondering how much longer the wait will be?" I refrained from speaking. I give completely honest reviews - this is my unfiltered truth. Anyone can see, I generally give favorable reviews because of my positive experiences, but this was EXEPTIONALLY bad. After speaking to the hostesses, they DEBATED who would walk us to our table, which was just a foot away from the hostess stand. It felt quite insulting. We didn't get a booth or a window seat as requested. Instead, we were seated at a small two-seater table between two other tables, which made for a super awkward dining experience! The girl sitting next to us kept staring, making us uncomfortable and she was very indescreate about it... the hostess even commented on it to her friend, (we were within earshot of the front desk). Since we didn't get the seat we requested, the hostesses we so rude, and we would be uncomfortable the whole time for a subpar seafood resturant, I told my fiancé that we couldnt spend money at a place like this. He informed our very polite server that we weren't feeling well and wanted to leave. She kindly offered us water, which we declined. She was the most accommodating person there. We left feeling embarrassed and still hungry. For such a beautiful part of town, this experience almost ruined our trip.

Yelp
After a long day of our first day exploring Charleston, we set out on our way looking for a late night bite. Coast Bar & Grill hit the spot with their Southern and coastal flare. I had the fresh catch more simply served with mash, grilled veggies, and a pineapple slaw. My partner opted to get down with the regional cuisine and got the etouffée style.

Yelp
I've been to Charleston a few times now, and it's always tough to find good seafood places. I figured this place might be good as the reviews were overwhelmingly positive. Coast was okay; but definitely nothing to rave about. The entrance to the restaurant is very cute and inviting. The service was a bit slow at times, but it was the weekend, so makes sense. We started with a bottle of wine and the calamari appetizer. So far, so good. We ordered some oysters as well since I'm a fan. Pretty good! Then, for entrees, we got the crab stuffed flounder (underwhelming, could have used more seasoning as it lacked some flavor), and the braised bass, which was better. We decided to skip dessert. Overall, it's not bad, but for the price point, I did expect better tasting entrees. Oh, well.

Yelp
Came into Charleston for the weekend and needed some dinner! So glad this place was open. Parking is tricky as you would expect but we found some parallel spots on the side street near here. For a party of 3 we were seated in 10 minutes and this place was packed so I was happy about that. We got some beers and for the appetizer we got the calamari. It was fresh and delicious but a little oily which will be a theme here For the entree I got the seafood basket with oysters and shrimp. The seafood was great there is no denying that but it and the fries were just a little overtly oily. It came with a bacon coleslaw too which was great but a little mayo heavy Overall food was fine just wish everything was a little less oily!

Yelp
Service good, food came oddly fast. Ambiance is a vibe...however , overpriced - steak tasted like it was subpar, uneven knife cuts which I wouldn't expect for the price. Favor profile not it.... We ordered scallops as well as surf and turf. Probably wouldn't come back
google avatar

James R.

Yelp
Another place off the beaten path!! We have learned very quickly that they push the expensive places on the main streets, but those are not the best!! We had the Red Drum grilled and the Sur&Turf with blackened swordfish! Both of these meals were outstanding!! The food was awesome and the service, by Justin, was outstanding!! The ambiance was just right and kind of a beach bar type setting. If you are in Charleston, this is a must place to eat!! Thanks for a great meal!!!
google avatar

Courtney M.

Yelp
Ambiance is the true winner of this bar and grill. Seating is cozy & intimate with dinner lighting. Our service was great and we really enjoyed the seafood jambalaya! Our pasta dish was okay but I would pass next time. Calamari had a light flakey batter & was seasoned very nicely. Ultimately, it's a great dinner or date spot, the price point is a bit high for portion but you're really paying for the good vibes.
google avatar

Robert S.

Yelp
This place was okay. The service was friendly and efficient no issues there. Started with the conch fritters and hush puppies. Idk this was the second time having conch and both times just ok. Hush puppies were good, very crispy and loved the honey butter. For my entree had the jambalaya and it was just ok. I was expecting it to be similar to how I've had it in New Orleans and it wasn't. Not tomato-y at all and just not like NO. I probably wouldn't return

Yelp
Great service, fun drink options, and yummy food! We always take out of town guests here because it has something on the menu for every palate and is in a great location. Only reason I didn't give this review 5 stars is because the salmon and steak tasted slightly burnt (we got the surf and turf.) highly recommend the tacos, crab dip, and Ceasar salad!!
google avatar

Jason J.

Yelp
My wife and I came here at 5 pm on a Saturday and were immediately seated (they do online reservations with OpenTable ) but it wasn't needed. The restaurant is well decorated and laid out, and our server was at our table within a minute filling our waters. We settled on the salt and pepper calamari and we each had the Baja tacos. The calamari hit the spot as did the large portion of tacos and fries. Everything was good, tasted fresh, and the food came out fast.
google avatar

Yelp
Went on Valentine's Day with one of my gals and we decided to both do the 3 course prefixed menu. We started off with the chefs raw bar and bacon wrapped scallops. We got both so we could each try some of them and I'm glad we did that. I had previously seen reviews about the rare tuna steak so we both decided to get that as our entrees. Let me tell you, we were not disappointed. It was a large serving, the miso glaze along with the veggies brought this dish together. The cashew crust added the perfect amount of crunch. I HIGHLY recommend the tuna. We finished the night off with one of each desserts and they were great as well. Our server was very attentive and made great conversation.
google avatar

Anna Y.

Yelp
Had a last minute dinner reservation at Coast for a Saturday night. Our server was great and funny, definitely added to the experience! We ordered the half dozen oysters & hush puppies, as well as cocktails. Food was amazing!! If I came here again I'd probably opt for a beer or wine instead of the cocktails just to pair with dinner better. The kitchen area makes the bar super smoky but it is pretty cool to see them cooking the food! Would come back for sure!
google avatar

Thomas P.

Yelp
The boast the freshest seafood in Charleston. I can't validate that but the jumbo shrimp were amazing! I got them wood grilled which honestly you should do for anything you get here. Gave them a nice char with a great smokey flavor. The shrimp were 2 bites each and there were 8 on the plate. The ettouffe sauce had a little bit of spice to eat with just enough blue crab meat so they could legally say it was a blue crab sauce! But overall, this dish was delicious! I sat at the bar and the service was fanatic. In fact the bartender recommended this dish and I loved it. Ambiance is dark with a nautical vibe to it. Perfect for the menu. Definitely a great "catch" for Charleston!

Yelp
So jealous of people who have had amazing dining experiences here. This restaurant was on my list I wanted to try since we've moved to Charleston. The menu looks great online and you can't help being intrigued by the unique location hidden down a cute alley. My husband and I snagged a high top reservation about 45 minutes before seating and with it being a Friday night we felt lucky to get it. Our server was nice and friendly. We ordered the Lowcountry cups appetizer (special for the night- tuna tartare with scallions and soy glaze). I cannot fault the quality of the tuna. Fresh and well seasoned. The portion size, however, was a joke. $16 for what amounted to probably 4 tablespoons of tuna stuffed into oyster shells. When the server brings it out and you marvel at the amount of ice on the plate in comparison with the puny portion size, you kind of wonder what the chef was thinking. Husband had the Australian ribeye with bacon wrapped scallops, mashed potatoes, and haricot verts. I ordered the Adobo spiced grilled shrimp with bacon cheddar grits and a medley of onions, peppers, and mushrooms. I also ordered the side of jalapeño cornbread. My husband LOVED his meal. I'm so happy because at $48, it should have been as good as he claimed it was. My meal was a letdown. Shrimp lacked spice or flavor from the adobo, very little salt, and if there was bacon in the grits I couldn't find it. My husband told me to send it back. I didn't but I wish I had in hindsight. Cornbread is generally not a moist bread but what was served to me was beyond dry. I asked for butter so I could try to enjoy it. I ended up eating my shrimp and leaving the grits and veggie mix on the plate. Two glasses of wine and two beers to go with the food and we were out $163.00. Ouch. Luckily my husband enjoyed his so much that he didn't mind footing the bill. No way I'd come back. Too many flaws in this experience and it all came down to flawed execution and subpar food which should be the star of any downtown Charleston night on the town.

Yelp
Our server was amazing. Very attentive and knowledgeable. The oysters were a show stopper! My two year old loved the Alfredo on the kids meal.
google avatar

Yelp
I've been to this place many times and I've always had an amazing experience. The food is always good, service is quick and it's in the cutest location downtown. We went Christmas Eve and thoroughly enjoyed
google avatar

Mary Y.

Yelp
The service was excellent, like spit on!. Good choices in wine Plenty of items to choose from the menu. We ordered a Caesar salad, Oakwood mahi-mahi, shrimp and chicken Alfredo. They brought us warm bread and butter while we waited for the salads. The salad was very abundant fresh and crisp. The mahi-mahi was wonderful. The fish was nice and moist seasoned well, the Julian vegetables were very fresh and crisp and the mashed potatoes were real mashed potatoes And very tasty. The shrimp and chicken fettuccine Alfredo was nearly perfect. The chicken fillet was clearly parboiled and was dry and a little overcooked but everything else in the dish was perfect.
google avatar

Victor S.

Yelp
Very good oysters. The service was great too. Not exactly dying to head back but it was good.
google avatar

Daisy W.

Yelp
loveeee this place. it is a MUST stop for us when we visit charleston, sc. i always order the same pasta dish, and it is a very consistent dish.
google avatar

Karen L.

Yelp
Additional photos added. *The chefs at Coast will "pan sear" your seafood entree if the wood fired method method is not for you. During my last experience the other night I requested a remake as parts of the salmon skin were inedible and burnt to a crisp. Make sure to ask for the crispy bread with churned butter. It's been my experience that the servers do not automatically bring to table unless asked for. Ambience is authentic ~ a seafood bar housed in a historic warehouse with 40 ft ceilings.
google avatar

Yelp
Looking for a casual dining experience in downtown Charleston and came upon Coast, which is nestled in an alleyway. We went in and were quickly greeted and sat down. The atmosphere was cool, and there were plenty of date nights happening. I ordered the surf and turf with blackened salmon and ribeye which tasted good. My wife ordered the catch of the day and said it could use more flavor. Old fashioned drink was 8/10.
google avatar

Yelp
First visit to Coast. I must say I wasn't as impressed as I expected based on other reviews. It's a higher cost restaurant so you'd expect a little better food. Unlikely to visit again considering the other seafood options in the area. We made reservations the day before and were seated promptly in the bar area upon arrival. It's located off the street down an alley-like walkway. Expect to pay for parking; there's a $10 lot across the street, plus a few street meters. Service was fast. Restaurant appeared to be clean. Enjoyed watching them cook over the wood-fire grill. The inside is cool with a rustic feel. They have some outside seating too. As for the food, well some was good, some not so much. Some portions / items were also fairly small; surprising considering the price. Two in our party ordered the fried halibut, and were nearly 100% certain it was some other fish, which they didn't enjoy much. Fish Tacos (3/5 rating) - Pretty well stuffed and enjoyed the slaw and mango salsa. Without the above the fish was pretty dry and slightly charred. It comes with a rice and black bean side, which is quite large, but really didn't have a good flavor. Two in our party got this and neither like the rice dish. Personally I wouldn't say this was a $23 dish. I also tried their jalapeño cheese cornbread side, which was good (except the crust), but was basically just half a piece of sandwich bread in size. Salad with Grilled Shrimp, which was a substitution for fried shrimp (4/5) - The salad and shrimp were both very good. Only complaint is the dish wasn't very big, particularly considering the price. Key Lime Pie (1/5) - I'm a big fan of key lime pie, but theirs was nearly inedible. The texture and crust were good, but the flavor was so extremely tart that nobody in our large group enjoyed it. It tasted like they used limes that weren't remotely close to being ripe.

Joe S.

Yelp
Ordered fish taco's with out slaw because i can not eat slaw. They charged me $23 and put almost nothing in the taco shells. The little Fish that was in it did not taste that great either. My wife got the seafood jambalaya it was ok but it had a lot of crunchy rice in it like it was not cooked all the way. When we made the reservation it had a multiple choices question asking why we were making the reservation. I checked anniversary. They sat us at a booth one side chair on the other and never said anything about are anniversary. Why ask the question in the first place if you don't care why someone is making a reservation at your restaurant.
google avatar

Danielle J.

Yelp
First, it's down my favorite alley in downtown. Second, the food is great. It has a little bit of everything as far as seating (outside tables, big bar area with high tops and inside dining) and menu. The blackened swordfish with blue crab etouffee was spectacular, great portion too. The complimentary sourdough bread was delicious. Fairly priced too considering downtown CHS, seafood and portion size. Also always a fan of a Garnacha by the glass on a menu. Left fat and happy!
google avatar

Josh D.

Yelp
The food and service was great! Haley was the best at waiting on us and gave us tons of laughs as she was enjoying her work night. The surf and turf was spot on with how it was cooked and plated. Plus, their mussels were some of the best! Definitely a must check out in Charleston.
google avatar

Jeff K.

Yelp
Riley and Brittany knocked it out with their service at the bar. They worked nonstop but remained focused and friendly. Opposite from the bar is an open kitchen with a flaming wood fire grill. The food... Wow! Seated at the bar for happy hour (4:30 - 6 pm) we enjoyed some raw oysters on the half shell and some shrimp cocktail. The oysters were delicious and the shrimp was well seasoned and fresh. We split the scallops entree served blackened with blue crab etoufee style with jalapeño corn bread. This is now one of my favorites here in Charleston!
google avatar

Michele G.

Yelp
Local vodka spritzer very light and refreshing. Oysters and crab dip were hood sized portions. Bartender very friendly. Enjoying the evening in the Alley
google avatar

Jethro W.

Yelp
Drinks: Mojito 10/10 Draft pernicious IPA 10/10 Appetizer: crab dip 10/10 Entrees: Scallops: 6/10 scallops were very good but the sides were subpar (burnt veggies and tasteless grits) Surf and turf: 0/10 definitely the worst steak I have ever had in my life sent it back once and the second try was not any better. (Ordered rare and on the first try it came out very well done and tasted like ash. Ok the second try it came out mildly seared on both sides and completely raw and still tasted like coals from a fire) Salmon was ok but only one bite sized portion. Veggies were cold but the best tasting thing on the plate. Mashed potatoes were frigid and bland. No compensation was received for the terrible entrees. I can say we will never be dining here again and if we do we will only be getting drinks and appetizers.

Allison F.

Yelp
The service was so great and I loved the fish of the day! I also highly recommend the grilled banana split.
google avatar

Lori Lundholm M.

Yelp
Service and food were mediocre at best. Appetizers were ok but nothing special-we had crab dip and calamari. The entree was not good. We shared an entree that had steak, fish (undercooked),bacon wrapped shrimp (bacon undercooked), & mashed potatoes (tasted like boxed). All of the protein had a charred flavor. We had reservations, they were not busy and they wanted to seat us at a tiny table. Ended up settling for a bar high top table. Staff overall was not very friendly.

Yelp
I can't believe I have been in and around Charleston for 20 years and have never tried Coast. Awesome food, fantastic service, nice decor - what's not to love about this place. Let start with Skyler, maybe the best waitperson I have meet in Charleston. She was very pleasant, she knows her menu. The drink glass was never empty. The restaurant is down a little alley, between Rue de Jean and the Charleston Music Hall, you have to look for it. Nicely renovated old downtown building; cozy and not too loud. The food - I had the Shrimp and Grits (Skyler's suggestion), maybe the best I have enjoyed in Charleston. She had the Salmon - outstanding. Dirty Martini's were just right. Overall value was excellent. We will be back to visit Coast again real soon
google avatar

Angela W.

Yelp
It was pretty good! I enjoyed my food. My kids weren't impressed. My drink was ok but I would go back. The service was amazing!!!
google avatar

Karen C.

Yelp
My friends and I had the most enjoyable meal here on a Friday night girls night out. We started with some cocktails and an appetizer. The orange crush was delicious. We all really enjoyed the coast crab dip. We had to ask for extra grilled bread on the side but there was quite a bit of dip. We couldn't finish it. I was looking forward to my fresh catch grilled over the oak & hickory grill. I chose the salmon and my friend got the scallops. The dishes were delicious but dare I say a little too charred for my liking. My other friend is not a huge seafood fan but tried the Baja fish tacos and loved them. The atmosphere is nice and casual and relaxing and our service was excellent.
google avatar

Ed D.

Yelp
I really enjoyed my meal at Coast Bar & Grill. I was dining alone and the bar itself was full so I sat at a high top table in the bar area and next to the busy kitchen. Shrimp & grits were good and reasonably priced compared to restaurants in the historic district. My server, Skyler, was friendly and provided the right amount of attention. Sitting next to the kitchen was a bit noisy but provided nice entertainment.
google avatar

Laura P.

Yelp
I put this as a maybe. The bar was really cool- Theo happy hour specials look good (have not tried them). I works say we would come for happy hour to try again. So we had an outdoor covered reservation suite to bringing the doggo (wrote, he got some attention from patrons!). Nice place, cool bar and atmosphere. Service was very attentive and brought our dog his water immediately (being an aussie, he gets hot a lot!). Anyway, all good but we came here based on the menu on their website which did not have the tartar. Anyway, we ordered the shrimp ceviche (we live here and did look up but they don't support local shrimpers so big negative- the app menu threw us off). We also got the crab dip. Ok crab dip was good, shrimp ceviche frankly tasted like shrimp with ketchup and a white wine vinegar- the chips with them were meh. So, just us but we'd come back (sans doggo) to try again for hh. I took a picture of the bar.
google avatar

Jess W.

Yelp
We found this spot to be the perfect in-between dining experience - not too casual, not too fancy! Our server was memorable and one of the best we've had in awhile and everything we had to eat was delicious & satisfying. Not to mention, this restaurant is located on one of the cutest hidden alleys in Charleston - Hutson Alley! Plus you can get a discount on drinks next door at Charleston's Smallest Bar with your receipt.

John W.

Yelp
I wish that I could actually review this restaurant, but Holy City Hospitality cancelled my reservation for a party of 8 without even notifying me. I only learned that my reservation was cancelled after calling several times and leaving messages asking them to reconfirm. Very frustrating and disappointing. I would give them 0 stars in this review if I could.
google avatar

Eric K.

Yelp
Bartenders Skylar and Riley made our visit. Using the IOS app, it told me we had arrived and we just could not find it. Then I peeked down a corridor between two buildings and there was the electric "coast" sign. The scallops, calamari, and fish were amazing. The sauces, try the sauces. My scallops were made with a light wine mix and was genius. Thank you for addling to pleasant meal and drink.

Norm M.

Yelp
We dined here based on Coastal Bar and Grill's four star reviews and its availability on short notice. We ordered appetizers and salads, both of which were fine, but not noteworthy. We all ordered the Grilled Tuna, which was entirely disappointing. The tuna came out as a grey block, made to look like it had been seared. Upon slicing into the dense brick, it became apparent that the fish was previously frozen and likely came out of a giant Sysco package, along with other identically cut bricks of frozen fish. To make matters worse, the sauces that accompanied the fish were also premade and served cold in a metal container and added nothing to the dish. When we said something about perhaps the sauce could be heated up, the server replied "We can't just microwave these things, you know." Entirely disappointing, given what great restaurants we have visited on our trip to Charleston.
google avatar

Sherry S.

Yelp
The food is not terrible (it's average) but the ambience is awful. The photos DO NOT represent the experience. We were In Charleston for a brief visit and chose this restaurant based on website photos and a local bar tender's suggestion--BIG MISTAKE. If you are looking for casual and basic then maybe this is your place, but with all the amazing restaurants in Charleston SC this is a wasted opportunity. Our party of 6 was seated in a back corner next to stacked chairs. Seating consisted of 3 chairs and 2 cushioned benches pushed together creating a lumpy 2-level seat for the middle person. Our waitress was okay but not super attentive. It was a VERY disappointing experience to say the least.
google avatar

Yelp
As soon as i went in i was meet by very good service, no wait, and they even allowed my dog. the Ambiance was great. How ever if you are looking for very good food, this is not the place for you. i got chicken and it was very dry and not so good. all depends on what your looking for

Ross C.

Yelp
Unfortunate experience for what was once a great place. Slow, grumpy and lackluster service with mediocre food. Too many places to choose from to waste your time here.

As usual, we had an excellent meal at this gem. We've been coming here for at least 15 years and it never disappoints. Service is great and fish is excellent- everyone at our table of 10 left happy and full.

Yelp
Incredible!!!! This was the best meal experience we've had in Charleston. Thomas was our server. He was very informative and did a great job. We had... Blackened swordfish, Caesar salad with blackened salmon, mussels, she crab soup. Unbelievable. Andres is an awesome General Manager. He spent the time with us to make sure we had a great experience. He recommended the "Turlo" Sangiovese wine and it was better than we expected. We definitely recommend Coast. Quality, price, ambience.... Everything you expect when you dine out.

Yelp
I had a perfectly grilled piece of red drum, mashed potatoes and julienned veggies with a buerre blanc sauce. The coconut cake for dessert was huge and delicious. Service is very attentive and professional, even though the atmosphere is casual.

Yelp
Coast is my first seafood restaurant to experience in Charleston. I ordered the drum with shiitake mushrooms. Delicious. Servers were warm and welcoming. I also had an Old Fashion before dinner and it was to my taste. This place had a very friendly atmosphere and I left feeling satisfied.

Yelp
Fantastic service every time we go. The atmosphere is always great as well. I had the shrimp and grits and it was very good. The calamari starter was fantastic. Never disappointed with my time at Coast
