Michelin should be more protective of its brand.
We’ve eaten across the world, from street food stalls to three-star Michelin fine dining, so when we saw Coral highlighting its Michelin association, we thought it would be worth a date night without the kids.
First impressions weren’t great. My wife’s chair was dirty. Even the napkins didn’t match, mine was quality while hers looked like something you’d find in a cheap Chinese restaurant.
The concept behind some of the dishes was unique and interesting, but the execution fell flat. The food was average, lacking the punch you’d expect from Indian cuisine and nowhere near Michelin standard.
Service was mediocre, the atmosphere matched.
Easily the most forgettable meal we’ve had in KL.
