"Inhip Whistler's warehouse district, breweries are sprouting up among the metal shops. Coast Mountain Brewing—across from the car impound lot for which this industrial area used to bebest known—has a cozy tasting room, packed with shared knotty pine tables, that serves seasonal small-batch ales. Amellow socialatmosphere bubbles here:Total strangers share tasting flights together, and no one appears to have anyplaceelse to go, except when they need to filltheir growlers with malty Field Guide Ale; the French Farmhouse Ale, Sunbreak Saison; and a plethora of IPAs. Sweet little brew pub/tasting room. Really enjoyed their beers, especially the stout and the Hope Your Happy (shouldn't it be Hope Your Hoppy?)IPA. A couple 4packs to go and some merch. 💥🙌🏼

Wonderful, cozy tasting room in Function Junction! We make a point to go any time we’re visiting Whistler. There are always so many different types of beer on tap and the staff are so friendly. We purchased a 64oz steel insulated growler and it is very slick!

Our first visit to the enchanting village of Whistler brought us to Coast Mountain Beer, where we were fortunate to meet Julio, an exceptional barista and a wonderful person who made our experience unforgettable. His warm hospitality even drew us back the following day. Massimo also stood out for his excellent service, adding to the memorable experience. Now, more than 9,000 km away, we drink Italian wine using their coasters, a small reminder of the incredible time we had and the amazing people we met.

Coast Mountain Brewing is an absolute gem in Whistler’s Function Junction! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a cozy and inviting atmosphere, friendly staff, and a fantastic selection of craft beers. Their Crystal Chair Pilsner and Hope You’re Happy IPA are must-tries—flavorful, crisp, and perfectly brewed. If you love something more adventurous, their rotating selection of sours and barrel-aged brews will surprise you. The tasting room is beautifully designed, featuring local artwork that adds to the charm. There’s also a dog-friendly outdoor patio, making it the perfect spot to relax after a day on the mountain. I love that they allow you to bring outside food, so you can pair your beer with your favorite snacks! Whether you’re a local or just visiting Whistler, this is a must-visit brewery. Great beer, great vibes, and great people. Highly recommended!

Google
This brewery nails it on two fronts: the view and the brew. Whether you’re a beer enthusiast or just tagging along for the vibes, it’s hard not to be impressed.

Google
Lady bartender had off vibes, was pretty pushy and impatient when my boyfriend and I took a few moments to discuss the brew we wanted to get. Overall seemed like a slightly unwelcoming vibe, not what we were expecting from a mountain town brewery as this place got 4.9 reviews.

Google
went on a sunday morning and there were some people surprisingly. got a flight for 12 cad and have to say that red ale (2nd in the picture) and stout (4th) are acquired tastes 😬the light lager (1st) was very light and my favorite is the hope you’re juicy IPA (3rd), which has a strong juicy and fruit note and a bitter after taste. the cutest thing is that the symbols on the flight are mapped to the menu so you know which is which! such a lovely idea. the environment was overall very cozy esp with so much sun light. the wifi was good too :)

Great range of beers, small indoor tasting area, larger patio.

Yelp
Can't recommend this place enough. Wife and I did an 8 day PNW trip through Portland, Seattle and Vancouver and drank a LOT of beer! This place was the best of the trip!! While in Vancouver, decided to take a trip up to Whistler. Got stuck behind a CMB truck for a bit, which was great advertising and convinced me to give this place a try...SO glad we did! The tasting room is small, but has a great charm and we enjoyed fresh air and sunshine out on the patio. When we entered I was immediately met with that rich, dank smell of the yeast which tells you the place is legit! Favorite beer, hands down, was the new West Coast Pilsner, Mullet!! Being from SoCal we've started to see a lot of this new style and let me tell you, CMB's version is the best I've ever had. You guys rock! Hope to make my way back up to this neck of the woods again someday and when I do, I'll definitely be sure to stop by! Cheers!!

Yelp
Love this little spot at Function Junction. After a morning hike enjoying their IPA flight and a great playlist! Cool interior space and outdoor patio, friendly staff, great vibe and cool merchandise. Enjoyed some nice IPAs in this fun spot

Yelp
A cute brewery room with lots of outdoor patio seating They offer a good selection of beer here Emma was very helpful with my beer flight choices Their beer markers are made with magnets and very cute shapes like mountains and cloud shapes Beer flights are 4x 5oz for $10, which is pretty reasonable I liked their Hope You're Happy, Juice Box Sour Wit, and Captain Wonderful's Sparkly Fizzy Pop Sour. Just like other breweries, they don't serve food here, it's okay to bring your own food The beers were so tasty, I picked up some cans to bring home The parking out front is limited so can be a bit tricky I can't wait to be back again next time I'm in Whistler

Yelp
Charming decor and a cozy vibe. The pasta was flavorful, but the dessert stole the show. Would definitely come back for more sweets!

Yelp
The coziest brewery with really good beer. We stopped in at 11:15 - right after they opened - and we are so glad we did! This place is so cozy. There's something about the small breweries that really makes it special. What is the best part about Coast Mountain is the beer. There is something for everyone here. The lager, the IPA or the pale ale... take your pick because you won't be disappointed. We loved the beer tender here. So friendly and accommodating. Really makes a visit worth it.

Yelp
Great little brewery room in Function Junction. This place has a 'locals' feel to it, so much that I'm hesitant to write it a five star review for fear of ruining what makes this place special. Cozy mountain décor with local art and wooden furnishings. Beers are excellent. I've tried their IPAs and pilsners, and both are fantastic. Snacks are available to purchase, but there is no hot food served here. There are also chilled cans of beer for sale to take home. We walked to the brewery from Creekside along the trail system; it's a great destination for those who want to get off the beaten path in Whistler.

Yelp
Excellent beer, service and atmosphere. In my opinion, you're not a craft brewery and you don't allow dogs. Coast Mountain welcomes your dog, provides water bowls and treats. Their IPA's are solid both the west coast style and New England. Brad was an excellent host.

Yelp
This is such a cool brewery! This has become of my favorites among my top picks (boundry bayin Bellingham, Aslan in Bellingham, and icicle brewery in Leavenworth). The beers were top notch. My girlfriend and I had two different IPAs and they were both great! I am not usually one for IPAd but it did not have a very hoppy taste and had good notes of citrus that rounded it out well. The atmosphere was really cool as well. The seating is well set up and there is a giant connect four game set up outside. This is kind of a weird thing to really enjoy, but they also did a really good with their designing. The packaging, glasses, coasters, and other art was well designed. If you are visiting whistler, check out this place and go to the train wreck while you are in the area.

Yelp
Small location with a good selection of beers. Service was friendly and was hoping to enjoy the outdoor patio but the rain kept me inside. They still had it covered but it was a little cold when we visited. Absolutely loved their selection of merchandise and of course bought a shirt as well as a sticker. Had a few recommendations to come here and surely glad I did. Wish I could have taken some beer home with me but TSA kind of frowns upon liquids of that size:) Come by for a brew of whatever your fancy is, I'm sure they will have something you can enjoy!

Yelp
Loved the beer, the staff, the location, the set up, and the swag! I bought a long sleeve shirt and it is cozy and stylish. They had a great IPA when I was there, plenty of of parking, outdoor seating as well as indoor, and a few fun games to play. If you stop by and you like hiking, check out the train wreck hike-- very easy with cool graffiti on train cars in the woods (dont climb on it if you are wearing white because paint might not be dry... I speak from experience).

Yelp
Such a rad brewery! Great vibe and really fantastic beers. Indoor space is a little small, but encourages new friends :) Nice outdoor space as well if weather permits. Great variety of beers and all done very well. Great service. Decorated a rotating art collection from local artists. About a $15 dollar cab ride from Whistler proper, make it an efficient trip and also walk over and hit up Whistler Brewing before you head back to slopes. Drink local!

Yelp
Hubby and I came after an afternoon up on whistler for a quick flight. Tasting room is cool, quaint and intimate with a huge window with bench seating looking out onto the brewery. Cute lighting and ambience. Husband did a flight (4 beers) and loved them. He recommends the Alpenglow (blood orange) for warm summer days. Very citrus forward, refreshing, & light. I love their labels and art work. Very clean with modern reclaimed wood decor.

Yelp
My favourite spot for a beer when I am in whistler, we usually stay at the athletes centre and try and come here almost every night, the Surveyor is one of my favourites IPAs and all the short runs of various styles they do is amazing. Always enjoy the sours or one off IPAs or stouts!

Yelp
Stopped in on a quick 24 hour trip to Whistler. Very small but cozy. Got there Friday around 5 pm and was standing room only! Communal table down the middle, bar seating and then a counter on the other side. Atmosphere was friendly and engaging. Lots of beer to choose from and all we sampled was top quality. A favourite was the zero IBU IPA. For real. It was juicy and just a hint of grapefruity bitterness. I simply can't remember the name but it had the word "daze" in it! Just chips and his in pepperoni to snack on, merch for sale and a patio for summer time which I imagine is amazing. I grabbed a couple bombers to go @ $10 each- the Woodnutt Brown and Scotch Ale. I will definitely make this a stop anytime I'm up that way.

Yelp
If you like real, awesome, truly good brews and great bartenders, come here. If you like snooty waitresses and mediocre brews, go to Whistler Brewing.

Yelp
From a Texan, the drive from Vancouver to Whistler might be the most amazing drive in the entire world. The beer at Coast comes in second place. That is all you need to know. A close second, if you are keeping score.

Yelp
Excellent brewery!!! We stopped in Whistler BC to check out Whistler Brewing Company and found this place right down the street. Totally recommend this place over WBC....more relaxed, less touristy and much better beer. Right now they have about 8 beers on tap and one beer canned and you can of course get growlers filled. Great vibes and even better beer!!! We have already been back twice since the first time we checked it out.

Yelp
Cosy, comfortable and great beer. Feels like an extension of your living room with the added of bonus of great beer!
