"Every table comes with a stunning view of Saundersfoot Bay at this striking beachfront restaurant, courtesy of floor-to-ceiling windows and a lovely terrace. This picture perfect dining experience is enhanced by assured dishes that focus on quality ingredients and are carefully crafted; the 7 course tasting menu best showcases the breadth of the kitchen’s skills. Friendly, relaxed service completes the picture." - Michelin Inspector

Food was VERY nice and fresh. I don’t think I’ve ever eaten something so tasty. The flavours complimented each other ever so nicely. We ordered the whole lobster, catch of the day (sea bass), potatoes, broccoli, chips and mac & cheese. For dessert we had the affogato. With a cider and elderflower pressé it came to just shy of £140, which fed 2. It is expensive, so I can’t say its value for money, but we did really enjoy the experience of dining here. The staff are very attentive. The views are nice - we were booked for inside but teased it for outside on a sunny day. If you’re looking for a treat, this is a top recommendation for a date. Would this be my go to? No, simply because I wouldn’t be able to afford it. Maybe in another life!

First visit back since the change of name and concept. Little or no change to the decor other than the obvious rebrand from Coast to Lan y Mor. A much more casual and informal fine dining experience with a menu that is more accessible to a wider market - liked the options for small and sharing plates. That said, we had visited to try some of the new mains on offer and on the whole we were pleased with the quality and presentation of the dishes. The hummus sharing plate was excellent as was the salted caramel ice cream and espresso affogato dessert. Cheese board with truffle honey was also very good. As with the relaxed feel, it felt as though staff were less attentive, but nonetheless efficient in clearing and ensuring everything was ok. A warm and sunny Saturday meant we had a nice view of the beach too! From a price point perspective, eating out here is still very much on the premium side, but worth it for the location, quality of food and service.

Haven't been here since it changed from Coast but left very very happy. No more tasting menu, and a menu that caters for everyone at a much better price point. We shared a lot of nibbles and starters, I especially enjoyed the Lobster Broth and fried cockles, don't forget to have some of the rolls with rarebit butter too. All the mains were great, the Fishfinger sandwich was huge, I personally loved the local Seabass on Miso leeks. Wasn't planning on having desserts but the menu looked so good we had to try, both desserts we tried were incredible, with the chocolate & cherry cake probably being my favourite. Good choice of drinks including plenty of Welsh options, I had a delicious glass of white wine from Velfrey Vineyard. Service was quick, attentive and friendly. Definitely worth making a reservation in advanced.

Nestled right by the sea, this restaurant offers an unforgettable dining experience with a perfect blend of atmosphere, service, and cuisine. The location is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking ocean views that create a serene backdrop, especially at sunset. The food is exceptional, crafted with fresh, locally-sourced ingredients. Each dish is a perfect balance of flavour, presentation, and creativity, whether it’s seafood or more traditional fare. From the delicate starters to the decadent desserts, every course is a culinary delight. The service is truly imperial. The staff is attentive yet unobtrusive, with a deep knowledge of the menu and wine pairings. They make you feel like royalty without being overbearing, ensuring your every need is met with a smile. Lan Y Mor restaurant offers not just a meal, but an experience. With its fantastic food, impeccable service, and awe-inspiring location, it’s a must-visit for anyone seeking a top-tier seaside dining experience.

We just had the most beautiful meal at Coast. We opted for the 7 course tasting menu finished with cheese and followed by coffee. The food was outstanding and the atmosphere and setting was so relaxed and wonderful. Honestly one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in a very long time. Would not hesitate to return or to recommend Coast to anyone

Having eaten at The Beach House Oxwich I was looking forward to another fine dining experience at the Coast restaurant Saundersfoot. It's situated in a beautiful location and there's plenty of parking, but this is an additional £5 for all day. I was greeted by lovely gentleman, even though we were 30min late due to a car accident, there was no issue to seat us . We chose the 5 Course Taster Menu and every one was absolutely delicious. Was quite surprised that the bottle of water was charged as we were asked if we'd like still or sparkling as soon as we sat down, but was unaware this was a chargeable item. On top of the meal, we ordered a couple of Mocktails at £8 each and a coffee that was £5, again, great quality. The afternoon was very relaxed and not rushed, we were there for over 3hrs. Only disappointment was when paying for the meal. We had booked under an offer, which was a Blackfriday deal. This was 30% off the food. When the bill arrived, we had not received the discount. I had already heard a couple on another table raise this and their bill was recalculated. When I raised this with the waiter, he asked if we had the discount voucher. I stated there was no voucher, that the offer was on Facebook to book by 1st December and we had to attend by the 29th February. I had an email confirmation of the booking and the date it was booked. I did feel rather uncomfortable as I felt as though I was trying to pull a fast one. Considering we had spent over £120 after the discount on the meal, it did take a shine of what had been an enjoyable afternoon. The bill was eventually sorted and although the gentleman did not seem overly happy about this, I did leave a £15 tip for the service.

Our first trip since this was Coast. It has a very different ethos, and whilst the food is very good I was used to how excellent it was at Coast. Paying £80 for two main courses was a bit pricey for me. As soon as the restaurant gets busy it gets difficult to hear people. Ravioli was over seasoned. Drinks service incredibly slow. On being asked how our experience was the response from the staff was a shocked face and a response that they were still ironing out teething problems. A fantastic view though and the food was still very good, but not the level of excellence that you expect for the money. As a regular to the restaurant whenever I am in the area, I would now choose to go elsewhere.
