Service and atmosphere is good but the food was a big disappointment! Zero seasoning and bland .. they used too much butter to the point that you can’t taste anything else. Side squash was burnt. We ordered cake for dessert and it was super dry and dense. Doesn’t worth the $150

5 adults, some with allergies, found dishes for everyone! Excellent food quality! The leg of lamb was absolutely the best we’ve had anywhere. The servers were attentive and courteous and quick. Money well spent if you want decent portions and hearty, savory, dishes. Valet service too. We are outside in July evening it was lovely and quiet. The inside is a bit loud and needs some sound absorbing material as it does echo too much for conversation easily heard and understood. Eating outside solved that. Highly recommend for fine dining.

I recently dined at Coastal Grill and had a pleasant experience overall. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a stylish decor that made for a cozy dining environment. The service was top-notch; the staff was attentive, friendly, and ensured we had everything we needed throughout our meal. However, the food itself was just okay. While it was presented beautifully, the flavors didn’t quite live up to the ambiance and service. It wasn’t bad, but it didn’t stand out either. I enjoyed my time there, but I hope the kitchen can elevate their dishes to match the excellent atmosphere and service.

My husband and I stopped by for an impromptu dinner date. We were greeted with awkward stares immediately upon entry. We then noticed we were the only ones of color there. We were seated on the patio since we didn't have a reservation. It was a beautiful day. The waitress was nice. The food and drinks was delicious. My husband had the crab cakes and I had the roasted chicken. We also had drinks which were delicious. We arrived in pants and work shirts which may have affected the experience. All this to say, we won't be back, but the food and drinks were absolutely delicious.

It’s an elegant restaurant and the seafood menu is wonderful! The soft shell crabs were amazing & I am from Maryland which had the best crabs. Coastal Grill match Md crabs!

Always a family favorite. Excellent service. A favorite for a special occasion. Very consistent positive experience.

I went to Coastal Grill to celebrate a special occasion. The salmon was delicious, definitely recommend. The lamb was good. The scallops were to die for, 10 out of 10 keeps you coming again. The side corn was delicious as well. On the other hand, the shrimp and grits were not up to par. The added fresh tomato and pitted olives were questionable. Was not a fan of the potatoes either. The ambiance and service are beyond exceptional.

It was booked, but we sat at the bar. Nice ambiance, the staff was friendly, and service great. I had amazing huge fried shrimp with a sweet chili aoili. Amazing. My friend had Mussels, had to be 100. 🤣My first cocktail wasn't to my liking but bartender made me something else and it was better.

Yelp
One of the best restaurants in Virginia Beach. Great seafood! In the winter time they have the acorn squash and in the summer corn - both are delicious!

Yelp
The food has gone so far downhill. I've never had a bad tasting meal there until now. I've had bad experiences prior just due to the service, but having such expensive food cooked improperly is worse to me than bad service. The duck wasn't rendered properly, it was so chewy, fatty, and lacking in flavor. The potatoes were under cooked and the scallops were soggy. The cocktails from the spring menu were also disappointing- too sweet and weak. I wanted to give this place another chance after our last bad experience there (because we've been patrons for over a decade) but I wouldn't go back at this point. It's just too expensive for mediocre quality. The one bright side is the valet, really great valet service!

One of the best restaurants in VB ! Food, ambiance and service cannot are all unmatched ;)

Yelp
Absolutely delicious!! And I cannot forget about the incredible service! We ended up here after another location fell through, and we could not have been happier. The lights were low, candles were lit and it definitely gave a costal, classy, vibe. The food was nothing less than amazing. Every single thing we ordered, because we obviously shared and we all got something different. I know it's just a side, but that corn! Honey! Absolutely yummy. We even got a few orders to go!! Thank you from our family for a wonderful birthday evening!

Yelp
Coastal Grill is an excellent option for those looking for an elevated dining experience. Our waiter was fabulous- very personable, attentive, humorous and helpful. I had two drinks- the white margarita (pictured) and an orange lotus (not on the menu, but you can ask for it). The drinks were very strong, if you aren't into that you may want to stay away. There is a large selection of wine to choose from. The wedge salad was delicious, and my main course was excellent. The butter squash is rich with butter and sugar- yum! I will be back. Thank you!

Yelp
Food: pretty high end food with nice seafood dishes like mussels, branzino, and seafood pasta. The mussels were cleaned nicely with no grit and had a nice flavorful broth. The branzino was also excellent with a delicious sauce and crispy skin. The seafood pasta on the other hand was as flavorful as an oil based sauce could be with fresh seafood, the only downside was that the olives in the dish were not pitted. The duck was expertly cooked as well, with the brown butter corn standing out as the highlight of the dish. Both desserts were also expertly executed and all around the meal was delicious. Service: valet was excellent and the service was excellent. Very attentive and friendly. Ambiance: felt like we were sitting at the nicest restaurant in VA Beach. Was honestly shocked this place existed and would go back for a nice occasion.

Yelp
Bring cash for the valet parking. The gentleman was friendly and took great care of my vehicle. We were warmly greeted by the host and sat promptly. Leslie was our server and took amazing care of us. The main dining room had soft lighting and was beautifully decorated (Christmas decorations were a lovely touch). I had the welted Bibb salad, when I say I haven't tasted anything like it, I mean it. It was the most delicious salad I've ever had, light and refreshing. For my main course, I had the Yucatán Medley. It had mussels, clams, and shrimp soaked in a chili lime sauce. All the seafood was perfectly cooked and the sauce was phenomenal. It is a bit pricey. I would love to come back but my bank account will not allow it in this economy. With that being said, I would only recommend if you are very well off. I had an unforgettable experience.

Yelp
Best food we've had in VA beach and we've hit some nice spots. The corn is amazing which I think comes with most entrees. We will definitely be coming back here next year. Service was awesome, our waiter was decisive in the help he gave with our decisions. We enjoyed a nice bottle of Vinet since we were traveling with family from Charlottesville. Beautiful spot!

Yelp
Very nice dinner with excellent food, service, and ambiance. Started the meal with nice selection of cocktails. Our table split a soft shell crab appetizer. For dinner I got the blackened mahi mahi that was very good. Others got grilled tuna, fried shrimp, and fried scallops. Everyone enjoyed their meal. The acorn squash was very good. Nice selection of vegetables with the meal. Good wine selection.

Yelp
We had a reservation at Coastal Grill to celebrate our 8-year wedding anniversary, and from the moment we walked in, the experience was nothing short of disappointing. The two hostesses at the front greeted us with an attitude that felt cold and condescending -- like we were a burden rather than welcomed guests. Not exactly the tone you hope for when you're out to celebrate something meaningful. What made this even more frustrating is that I've been to Coastal Grill in the past and always had great things to say. A couple of years ago, it was one of my favorite spots in Virginia Beach -- but clearly, times have changed, and not for the better. Despite making a reservation, our table wasn't even ready when we arrived. We were asked to wait and then seated in a loud, busy section of the restaurant that felt like an afterthought. What's the point of taking reservations if you can't honor them properly? Now, credit where it's due -- our server, Katie, was absolutely fantastic. She was attentive, kind, and did everything within her power to make the night better. But there's only so much a great server can do when the rest of the operation is falling apart. The bar was incredibly slow -- drinks took forever, not just at our table, but across the dining room. It was clear the bar staff was overwhelmed, unprepared, or both. Then came the kitchen... after over an hour and 15 minutes, our food finally came out. I ordered the duck, my wife had the chicken, and my son initially ordered chicken tenders -- but we were told they had run out. Running out of something that basic for kids during dinner service is just lazy. We had to go off-menu to get him a plate of spaghetti with marinara. Again, Katie handled it with professionalism, but this level of disorganization is not acceptable. To be fair, the food was good -- but not nearly good enough to justify the long wait, lack of hospitality, and the overall sense that no one but our server cared if we were having a good time. Coastal Grill used to be a gem. Now? It feels like a place coasting off its old reputation, with poor management, a disorganized staff, and a serious decline in standards. We won't be returning. Katie was the only highlight of the evening, and she deserves far better than the mess she's working in. Coastal Grill, do better.

Yelp
Many many visits to Coastal Grill over the years first time making a review and it's a bad one. Meal was "ok" and the service was poor and SLOW. Waited about an HOUR longer than normal to be served. Another good restaurant down the hole because of new ownership. Booooooo.

Yelp
The bread, which usually sets the tone for the rest of the meal, was excellent as was the calamari but sadly everything was luke warm and mediocre. The duck was maybe a half of a breast with two small roasted potatoes. The rest of the plate was filled with half of an acorn squash and a chunk of watercress to cover the small portion. My husbands lamb was better but again a small portion but my FIL's pork chop was inedible. Lastly, everything needed salt and I rarely cook with it to give you perspective. We won't be returning. We'd much rather eat at Gaston's around the corner.

Yelp
Come and gather 'round, o children, and I will share with you a tale of deliciousness, expert preparation and flawless service. I went to Coastal Grill this evening and ordered a dozen oysters and a duck entree, with a complimentary side of bread. The oysters were so fresh and delicious that I felt like I was convening with the sea, revering its history and taking in its deepest culinary secrets. They were served with a side of cocktail sauce, red wine mignonette, lemon wedges and cilantro. The duck entree was the best, and most inspired, duck preparation that I have ever tasted. The duck was cooked to a flawless medium and served with a cherry and red wine sauce that complemented the flavor of the meat without overshadowing it. I choose to believe that any duck would be grateful to be a part of this entree. The entree included a side of roasted potatoes, prepared to a perfect crispness without being burned, and a side of corn. Ah, the corn. I spent my childhood on a farm, and we harvested our own corn each year, so I am very discerning about the corn I choose to eat as an adult. I am not exaggerating when I say that the corn at Coastal Grill is the best corn I have ever eaten at a restaurant. I've eaten at the finest steakhouses in New York City, at the high-end star-studded restaurants of Capitol Hill, and at the cutting-edge gastronomical powerhouses of San Francisco and the Napa Valley, and none of them had corn as good as Coastal Grill. The Coastal Grill corn is sliced fresh off the cob, as confirmed by my server, and it's deliciously firm and sweet. I don't think I've ever been so pleased with a side dish before. My server, whose name I can only presume was Liz because the receipt says "Server: Liz," was polite, swift, helpful, and just the right level of attentive. I never had to wait for refills of my water, because--as if she were telepathic--Liz would always arrive at precisely the moment that my water needed refilling. Liz took great care to ensure that I was enjoying my meal and my experience. I was so pleased with my experience at Coastal Grill. The restaurant was nice and quiet, decorated with class and maintained with care. I can't think of a single negative thing to say about the food, the decor or the service that I was provided. If Gordon Ramsay visited the restaurant, then even he would struggle to find anything to criticize. In fact, the restaurant's quiet simplicity and excellently prepared food might cause him to reexamine his harsh demeanor and become a kinder celebrity chef in the future. I'm not often in Virginia Beach, but the next time I'm in town, I am quite certain that I will visit this restaurant again.

Yelp
Coastal Grill is the place to go for a nice dinner, away from the oceanfront for a special occasion or if your wallet is bigger than mine you can eat there more often. This was definitely a special treat. Simply decorated and beachy but not too much. Classy. White table clothes. Quiet. I went with a friend and we sat at the bar. They do have valet parking so bring cash. We had wonderful service from Ryan and Windsor. Very attentive and made great recommendations. We drank some wine and ate the delicious bread with homemade butter. We decided on the tuna bites and my friend got the pan fried trout and I got the mussels. One thing they told us is you can turn an entree into an appetizer and an appetizer into an entree. I love that!!!! Honestly I did not love the tuna bites. I found them bland and so was the sauce. My mussels were delicious, especially with the broth. The portion was HUGE! I think I got every mussel in the sea. My friends trout was absolutely amazing!!! There were so many things I wanted to try on the menu that I will have to go back. Definitely a 1st class experience.

Yelp
Started with the grilled shrimp and the clam. For dinner we had the shrimp n grits, crab cakes and NY strip. All was good but the dinner service was slow as the place was super packed for Saturday dinner. The grilled shrimp was great but the clams were just ok.

Yelp
I've probably driven past this restaurant 200 times and really had no idea it was here. It is much nicer and classier inside than it appears from the exterior and the road. My in-laws love it and have dined here a few times to rave reviews, so, for their 56th wedding anniversary I third-wheeled it to dinner there with them while my fiancee was out of town. We had a great dinner. We had a 7pm reservation and were quickly sat at a nice table in the corner with a comfy booth for my in-laws. Our server was very good - making recommendations and easily answering our menu questions. In the end, we chose several items so we could all share. We started with their house-made mozzarella salad with fresh basil and tomato swimming in olive oil and topped with fresh black pepper. We also got a house salad which I absolutely loved - it had sunflower seeds, bleu cheese, and a delicious light vinaigrette dressing on fresh greens. House bread and butter was warm and good - we asked for more. For entrees we chose: deviled crab cakes, fried oysters, and the salmon. All came with their veggie of the day - a large half of baked acorn squash with butter and brown sugar inside and a side of red potatoes. All were very good. The menu boasts soft-shell crab and many other fresh fish and fresh catch items as well as steaks and chicken to satisfy most anyone. We ended the meal with fresh-brewed coffee and a warm delicious walnut brownie a la mode with fresh warm fudge sauce. Very, very good. Parking is valet, they have a small outdoor patio with probably 8 tables or so outside and a small party room for private events. Decor inside is very classy and I actually loved the seating at the bar area as well. Will def. come back for a date night with my fiancee! Huge dessert menu (I took a photo) so I'll need to check that out too! Ha.

Yelp
This was our first time here. The hostess was friendly and the wait staff was superb. Erica was our server and she was fantastic. She made my wife and I feel special even though she had many larger tables. The atmosphere was exactly what you would expect, coastal. The food was all superb. We have blackened scallops, crab cakes and pork loin. This is a must go for normal and special occasions. Love this past. Well done.

Yelp
Loved. Loved. LOVE!!! This is probably my new favorite date night restaurant. We came in on a very busy Saturday evening. We had reservations for a party of 8 but when we got there our table wasn't ready yet and we still had to wait about 20mins for our table. Once our table was ready we got seated at a big table in the back. Our server got our drink orders of cocktails and 2 bottles of wine. We then ordered our apps and we got salad, mussels and a lot of others. Everything that came out was delicious. The mussels were really good. We then ordered the entrees and they had some specials too. I ordered one of the specials they had which was a whole fried branzino, pretty much all the entrees come with a baked squash with brown sugar it was sooo good. The fried fish was pretty big and was delicious. For dessert we all ordered something different. We got the carrot cake (my hubs fave) I'm not a huge fan of carrot cake because I don't like raisins but this carrot cake was really good. It was a huge slice and moist. Went perfect with my coffee. The ambiance of the restaurant was nice. Lots of tables, dim lighting for dinner and the music was on point, I had to ask what they play and it was actually a Spotify playlist. Our server was soooo awesome. He always checked up on us and he was super friendly. Made the whole experience and evening a awesome. When it was time to go the valet guy must have seen us coming because he already had all our vehicles pulled up and lined up ready to go. Talk about service! Can't believe we haven't been here before this. I can't wait to go back here again and we've been recommending this restaurant to all our friends.

Yelp
Boss took my coworker and I out for an appreciation treat to this place and wow!!! It was a great experience overall, 10/10 rating (rare for me) and I will have to be back with family First the atmosphere is clean, classy but still casual, and a great place to eat and chat. The bar looked very inviting and the servers/bartenders were very knowledgeable of the menu as well as their seasonal menu. Everyone was completely satisfied with their meals. The homemade mozzarella lived up to the hype- almost as good as the real deal I've had in Italy before! My steak was delicious, they cooked it perfectly medium and I cleaned the plate. My boss had their branzino and picked that clean, though her all time fav is their salmon and their fried shrimp app. My coworker had their Homemade pasta with shrimp and she loved it too. Their seasonal watermelon feta salad was surprisingly good, and I don't like kale like that. Literally nothing bad, wrong, or even imperfect about our visit today and though it seemed like there weren't enough servers on the clock, we had a fantastic time. Valet was super sweet and everyone seemed to know my boss as she's a regular. Glad we choose Coastal Grill to socialize together outside of work
google avatar

Yelp
The food was delicious but we didn't enjoy eating outside due to the heat and flies. We made a reservation well in advance but were told when we arrived there was no indoor seating available due to a large party. If we were to go back we would insist on indoor seating. We loved our meals- tuna and scallops cooked to perfection.

Yelp
The photos of the restaurant, don't do it justice. It's a very nice atmosphere and they were nicely decorated for the holidays. We visited over the weekend of New Year's. I checked in on Yelp upon being seated and was gifted a free Caesar salad, which I kindly ordered from our server. He was a bit confused at first, but honored the coupon. To drink, I started with their Bourbon Smash. It was delicious, but after a while, I was ready to move on to something different to drink. My fiancé had the Holiday Spritzer, which he enjoyed. I also tried the Orange martini - which was delicious but rather sweet (I'm not sure I could drink a whole one). I also had the Maple 46, which was very good. We made our way through their cocktail list as you can tell! For appetizers, we had the Raw Oysters and the Mussels. Both were absolutely delicious. The seafood was very apparently fresh and of high quality. The broth that is served with the Mussels is delicious and perfect for dipping bread. The appetizers were definitely my favorite part of the meal. I had the Bibb salad to start my meal and it was good, but not great. It was loaded with crisp bacon, which I appreciated. But the dressing wasn't my favorite. For dinner, I had the Blackened Rockfish, which sounded very good and came recommended by our server. However, it turned out to be drenched in vinegar, and after having the salad right beforehand, with a similar tasting dressing, and also the Oysters with Mignonette, I was completely over the taste of vinegar. I think this dish would've been better had it been a different sauce, or even just served with sliced lemon and no sauce at all. The side that the fish was served with was an acorn squash with some sort of a brown sugar sauce in the middle. I thought this was rather strange. I would've much preferred some green vegetable(s) and/or potatoes of some sort with my fish. Oddly, each entree is served with four Kalamata olives and one grape tomato. This obviously isn't a bad thing, just sort of peculiar. Overall, service was friendly and mostly punctual. The staff works well as a team and helps each other out to ensure there is no lack of service. I would return to Coastal Grill but I would not order the Rockfish again, and I'd probably stay away from a fish entree all together. I may even just stick with a couple appetizers to share.
google avatar

Deborah E.

Yelp
This place is a hidden gem. Be sure to make a reservation. Everything was so good and better than expected. Probably the best acorn squash I have ever had. I ordered the salmon. Cooked perfect and very tasty. I should've taken pictures but I was way too hungry. Get off the beach and eat here.
google avatar

Steve G.

Yelp
Update: just went again. It definitely has an older crowd and needs some updating. But the seafood - tuna and rockfish- were great. Very limited beer selection. I am unclear why that is these days. And honestly the acorn squash was not ideal -- half a squash filled with a sweet water and sugar combo. I'm not sure why they don't serve a healthier version or at least caramelize it.

Hunter M.

Yelp
If you walk like a duck, talk like a duck, then you should act (and charge prices) like a tMichelin star restaurant. Coastal Grill was a great low priced chain restaurant except that is not what it was. 15 minutes for water and drink order. Unacceptable. Dirty plates. Unacceptable. New York strip that was chewier than your grandmas oatmeal. Delicious. 20 minutes from the ocean. No view. No ambience. Food I can cook better at home. Don't bother. Do better Coastal. Shame. Shame. Shame.
google avatar

John P.

Yelp
Lived in the area forever. ( 58 ) First time visit after hearing rave reviews for years. The duck was perfect. My GFs steak was over cooked. Everything else was mediocre and actually the potatoes were cool at best. One was actually cold. I know everyone has an off night but not sure I will return.

Angelica J.

Yelp
I wanted to love my experience but I just couldn't. This place is very pretty inside but the service needs a lot of work and ruined my experience. For starters, every table next to us got bread upon seating, not us. And every time we asked for bread or watched other people get bread we kept getting told by our server that "it takes a long time" or "it's cooking in the oven." So by the time we got appetizers (30 minutes after being seated) I finally asked for the third time for bread and we finally got it. Then, I ordered the "Mediterranean Branzino" from the menu, and it doesn't mentioned that it's a FRIED fish, so when a whole fried fish came to the table, I sent it back because I did not want to eat a $40 fried fish as my entree. So now, I couldn't enjoy my entree with my boyfriend and had to wait another 20+ minutes for a new entree. The final straw was being charged for a more expensive Chardonnay, instead of the house wine that I ordered when I got the check. The server did apologize for the * lack * of service and mistakes and took care of the wine that I was incorrectly charged, but I definitely wouldn't recommend this place and won't come back. The food was subpar overall anyways, the ambiance is what you're paying for it seems.

Yelp
Rumor has it this restaurant is closing. Sad to see it go. Always a great meal, go while you still can!!

Yelp
Fabulous restaurant, elegant, old world, inspired with a fresh menu. Absolutely adore going there. They make you feel special and I have never had a meal that was under a five. Can't wait to go. Love love love.

ELise R.

Yelp
The acorn squash is really good as a side and their oysters are really fresh. Everything I've had here has been well prepared. I really love this place. You can even call for takeout. Which is a great option for when you need a substantial dinner but you don't want to dine out or cook.
google avatar

Erin R.

Yelp
I hate leaving poor reviews but my experience last night was dreadful. What the hell is up with the pools of liquid, the "token" cherry tomato (raw, I might add) and sprinkling of olives on every damn dish? It makes no sense. The shrimp and angel hair pasta was bland and I had to dig through the pasta to peel the tails off the shrimp. I gave up after 3 turns of the fork. The brussels sprouts were burnt. We were a table of 9 and had two small plates of bread for the entire table, never replenished. I literally left starving. Not to mention, the portion sizes were laughable. Seriously the worst meal I've ever paid for. The only highlight was the ambiance. I've lived in VB my entire life, first time here and definitely the last time.

Yelp
Coastal Grill was absolutely fantastic!!! The coastal/beachy ambiance was lovely and the food was full of flavor & filling. Our server, Nicole, was very welcoming, informative, & offered great suggestions for the table. This resturant was great and we will definitely be returning in the future!
google avatar

Yelp
The food was delicious! But be warned, they will not let you use the Yelp checkin voucher for a free caesar salad...that probably needs to be removed from Yelp asap since that is literally the only reason I ordered the salad. Ambiance was nice, much older crowd so it was very quiet with attentive servers.

Margaret G.

Yelp
Wonderful food and service!!!! The seafood & fish are always fresh. My favorite is the scallops.

Kyel R.

Yelp
Elegant, nice service, and very good food. Definitely would recommend over many restaurants in the area.

Yelp
The food is average (would consider the options very pricey) -- similar sides, different protein type dishes. Love the service and the atmosphere inside the restaurant (one of the main reasons it being a family favorite!)

Yelp
Always a wonderful experience. Great service, food and setting. Special place for a special occasion

Yelp
On a whim, I drove up for dinner. I was grateful the valet said their was an open table; something he said is not always the case especially during the summer. The food was so good! I started off with the clam chowder which had clear broth with pieces of bacon making it great! For my main course, the flounder was fried and crunchy and the acorn squash side was so soft and delicious too! The staff was so friendly!

Cathy A.

Yelp
This is a testimony of the recipe for Coastal Grill's long success and popularity . I have been going to CG for over 30 years, long before they moved across the street from their old location. Their consistency, exceptional food quality, service, menu and seasonal selections (I have found) are to be expected at only a small handful of restaurants in the area. From the main dish presentation to the dessert, they strive to deliver a great culinary experience. Oh, btw, they maintain their own garden too (:

Yelp
Classy and yummy! My husband and I had a long overdue date night and this restaurant didn't disappoint! We started with their homemade mozzarella with basil and tomatoes! Sooo fresh and good. I ordered the grilled salmon and my husband had the halibut. Both were amazing! I had a cucumber martini which was very crisp and fresh; perfect for a light summer cocktail. We were too full for dessert but definitely enjoyed what we had. The server was attentive and friendly and the valet guys were friendly and helpful. Oh and they have a square so if you either forget cash or just don't carry it, you can tip them with the square!

Donna L.

Yelp
I am NOT impressed and should have sent most of it back! We started with the watermelon salad. Usually delicious, I couldn't find any mint. I asked the waiting to bring some and got a tablespoon of DRIED crumbles! Then I couldn't find any pistachio's. I again called over the waiter. He pointed out that they were there- tiny, very tiny speckles of white. They had no taste and the whole salad is wonderful because of FRESH mint and a crunch or two of pistachio! I should have sent the salad back. Then my son's salad was the wedge. Now how can one ruin a wedge salad....but again. The wedge was very hard and bitter- way too bitter to be served. So on to the entree. I had the fish and chips. Both very good however when I broke open the fish, it was-literally- half the size of the batter. Bummer. Oh and the Ceasar salad was so over dressed it was SOGGY. YUCK. Hope you have a better chef there if I ever come back again.

Yelp
Very nice ambiance, friendly hosts, an amazing server (Brian), and delicious food. This place did not disappoint. Highly recommend the soft shell crab. Wasn't too loud. Thanks for a lovely anniversary! Y'all did great!

Yelp
Food prices are really high. Ran out of soft shell crab and highly disappointed. The food was good, be prepared for a 200+ dollars dinner for four.

Yelp
Really a quality meal and experience. Salads are huge (I'd recommend you share), dishes are creative and fresh. There was no blandness in the dishes we ordered, everything was flavorful and at times just a tad spicy. It was "too warm" for most others, but we ate on the patio and our server was also the bartender. Still, service was excellent. One caveat, the menu you see online may seem a bit restricting. However, there are "blackboard specials" that really amp up the variety of the menu. I believe the night we were there the "board" featured six or so specials. Definitely will return.

Yelp
Great seafood / fine dining restaurant in Virginia Beach. The bar area is great if you want a nice ambiance without the linen ed tables & finer dining feel. I recommend saving room for desserts s... sooo good
