Cinematic views, good food and incredible service!! Truffle fries are a must, hard pass on the dry aged steak, opt for the seafood tower instead. Dining on the outside patio is both serene and gorgeous, and Ania treated us like queens! Great spot for a nice evening dinner or a polished lunch. The bartender makes a perfect cocktail and the sound of the ocean in the background really ties it all together.

Google
A great place for an afternoon drink, appetizers and a great view of the ocean. Can be breezy at times but that’s part of the attraction; yes, you are on the coast. We spend a month or two each year in Vero. And, we have visited this bar several times a year the past couple years and will continue to do so. A very relaxing time.

Very disappointed I have to write a review like this. I live 5 minutes up the road from Cobalt and have always liked the place. The food is usually solid and the views are beautiful. However, on Sunday I went for a birthday celebration and got the seafood tower for two. As pictured below, the tower looked great but the lobster had a foul fishy smell when brought to the table, the shell was dark, the meat was pink, no white, and very slimy. Serving it was a health violation in itself. We had to set a timer from the time we took a bite of something near it in case of food poisoning from contamination. We sent it back and the waitress said she and the chef smelt it themselves and it was definitely not right. They replaced just the top part where the lobster was with another lobster that still was not fresh and didn’t offer to comp anything (all we ordered was two drinks and the seafood tower for two). At that point my boyfriend and I didn’t want to eat any of the seafood from here and obviously took nothing home. They sent out what seemed like a store bought slice of flourless chocolate cake that was hard to swallow. Sad to say I will not be returning nor will my family and I am appalled at the lack of quality control at an expensive restaurant that portrays itself as nicely as they do.

Google
The Delmonico steak was cooked perfectly medium rare like I ordered. My wife's Prawn was over cooked. It was served with squid ink pasta that was excellent. For such a fine dining restaurant, we were extremely surprised that the bread they served were Hawaiian rolls. Yes, the same Hawaiian rolls that you buy in the grocery store. For a $200 meal, it would have been a nice touch for the sever to pack our take home box for us.

We’ve been staying at the Vero Beach Hotel & Spa and decided to try the on site restaurant Cobalt for lunch today. Such a great dining experience! The views and outdoor dining area were absolutely stunning! The tables had umbrellas to keep you out of the sun and the ocean breeze kept you cool. Overall just a great atmosphere. We loved our server Brittany! She was friendly, helpful and did an amazing job. I ordered the Chop Salad and added Chicken Fingers on top. It was a delicious salad with lettuce, aged cheddar, bacon, cucumbers, egg and a delicious wine vinaigrette dressing. I would absolutely dine here over and over again! Thanks for a great experience. And only a few steps from our seats at the pool… Bonus!

Best Grilled Octopus we ever had, and the Filet was over the top. But Jenna really made this experience a fun and enjoyable one. We will be back because of her!!!

Google
Enjoyed an amazing dinner with the family for a special occasion. The food was awesome. I got the Salmon with Brussel Sprouts. It was so good. The family got Steaks and they were all perfectly cooked. The place has a great view over looking the beach with a warm fire pit to add. Great place for a fancy date, elegant dinner, or just a special occasion.

Google
Our server Winston was very good, attentive but not overly. Tuna nachos were fantastic with so much tuna! But the swordfish was the best I’d ever had! Will definitely go back!

Yelp
We had a wonderful dinner at Cobalt's. My husband ordered the aged ribeye, which was absolutely marvelous, and I had the rack of lamb, perfectly cooked and full of flavor. We started with the grilled octopus and lobster bisque, and paired everything with a lovely French Pinot Noir. The entire experience was beautiful: great service, fair pricing for the area, and a stunning view that made the evening feel even more special. We've also enjoyed their breakfast, which is very well priced for the quality. The Classic Benedict is delicious, and the Sunrise Bagel Egg Sandwich is another great choice. Highly recommend both dinner and breakfast at Cobalt's--consistent quality, great atmosphere, and excellent service.

Yelp
Nice lunch with family. Ambiance is great. Food is good. Service was excellent. They were able to accommodate Gluten Free.

Yelp
Food was great a, food and menu. We will go again. The service was friendly and the ambiance was very nice. Pleasant atmosphere. We will go again

Yelp
Beautiful view and great food! We sat outside on their spacious patio, overlooking the waves. It was a (rare) cool day in Fl, so the weather was perfect to sit outside. We got an assortment of mimosas to start, which all looked and tasted great. We then had the coconut French toast and chicken & waffles for our brunch dishes. The coconut French toast was fantastic. The French toast itself was light and fluffy, with some chunks of pineapple, caramelized banana and a hefty dose of coconut flakes. The caramel sauce was quite tasty - kinda wished they gad provided more on the side instead of regular syrup. The fried chicken was really good - just the right amount of spice, crispy, moist on the inside. The only down note was the waffle itself, which was only ok. Between the view and the view, this was a great choice!

Yelp
We dined at cobalt about a month ago or so for a special birthday dinner. We were staying at the Kimpton and made a reservation to come downstairs. We opted to sit outside by the water, which was absolutely amazing. It was a beautiful and peaceful night that wind was blowing, and the tables each had a little light on them, so you can see the menu and dine under some light. We started off with a bottle of wine, which the Server brought to the table and appropriately chilled next to us. For appetizers, We had some calamari and a lobster bisque soup. The lobster bisque was delicious! For the entrées we had the steak and the whitefish the steak was cooked perfectly to what I requested, and was so tender and juicy as was the fish. For dessert we ended with the crème brûlée which just cooked perfectly. I would love to return to Cobalt once again and have a nice amazing dinner by the sea. Service was on point our server checked in with us multiple times, and always insured we had what we needed. Highly recommended coming to Diana at Cobal and staying at the Kimpton Vero Beach!

Yelp
Jenna did a wonderful job - very personable and efficient. After dinner Winston , a previous server, who was also a great server , came over to say hello. We appreciated their hospitality and excellent table service. The restaurant is very attractive and close to the ocean. We ordered oysters, salmon and steaks. My wife enjoyed her salmon. Two of us had the filet mignon which we enjoyed. The whipped and French Fried potatoes were delicious. So while expensive everything was excellent - Except the hostess who was somewhat rude in sitting us. She insisted we sit in a less desirable spot because she wanted to help a particular server. Observing another section closer to the ocean we objected. This went on for several minutes. She had a very negative reaction to our wishes. Clearly she needs an attitude adjustment in dealing with the restaurant's guests. We arrived early and there was plenty of room in the more desirable area. While we were eating very few new guests arrived so she couldn't have been saving reservations. Other than the hostess we had a very pleasant dinner. John T

Yelp
We always have a great experience in this lovely Restaurant and we enjoy fresh and flavorful meals and drinks outside by the ocean each time!! The service is amazing and very attentive and friendly. You experience a unique welcome here that not many establishments bother to extend to patrons anymore. It is high-end , but it is absolutely worth the cost. Breathtaking surroundings while you enjoy your date or group hang out! Five Stars.

Yelp
What a great experience we had at Cobalt. We ate outside and had the most beautiful views with a great sunset. We all had steaks or short ribs and everything was cooked to perfection. Excellent sides, whipped potatoes, asparagus and broccolini. Fresh and delicious oysters and cocktails to start. Celebrating a birthday and the birthday girl was brought a delicious key lime pie. The icing on the meal was our server Jonathan. He was friendly, accommodating, informative and just made our experience so much more enjoyable. Ask for him next time you go.

Yelp
Tonight's dinner was outstanding. Johnathan was an informative helpful server. I had the squid ink pasta with a huge prawn. Wow! The sesame tuna was also excellant. The restaurant is vey spacious with a beautiful view but can be very noisy so a heads up. Outside is much quieter with an ocean view and the calming sound of waves .

Yelp
Overpriced, excellent location, unenthusiastic waiter! We just left there for our 23rd anniversary dinner. Started with a couple drinks at the bar. Bar tenders were not that friendly. They looked bored and didn't engage in any conversation. The hostesses were a bit disorganized when we got to the stand. They got us a table on the patio. Food Service was good, but waiter was not so enthusiastic. By now i'm getting the impression no-one has a personality here.. I dunno why maybe because they all had to work July 4th. Anyway, food was well presented. We started with fried green tomatoes for $28. Then i had the skirt steak, which was excellent and my husband had the short ribs. We had fries and mac and cheese as a side. We had a draft beer, martini and a glass of house red wine and the bill with tip was $230. Glad we finally tried this place but won't be back in such a hurry, way overpriced and staff not so friendly. But maybe because they cater to the rich people of the island that's the protocol!

Yelp
This is one of our all time favorite restaurants. The service is great, the ambience of eating right on the water is amazing, and the food is spectacular! This was our second time here after an initial visit last year and we loved it even more the second time. They have an incredible menu with tons of options, and lots of wonderful side dishes that make for great appetizers as well. Our favorites were the carrots (must try!) and crispy cider Brussels sprouts. The burrata was amazing as well. The chicken dish is delicious and has so many great flavors/spices. My husband did the swordfish and loved it. Overall, another fantastic meal. We will definitely be back again and again!

Yelp
COBALT continues to impress us with their qualities of food, service and ambiance! We were there for Cobalt's Sunday Brunch last weekend to celebrate a family members' birthday... and Cobalt did not disappoint! We were seated outside to enjoy the scenery and breezes... absolutely perfect! The Eggs Benedict was delicious and the Coconut French Bread was to die for!!! Grand kudos to Cobalt for being so consistently AMAZING!!!

Yelp
It has all that make it a great & special restaurant. You won't be disappointed for a Vero Beach fine dining restaurant.

Yelp
My God. We just had father's day dinner at your restaurant and it was horrible. I'm embarrassed that I took my family there. 'Father's Day Grill-Out Dinner' had zero specials and nothing was grilled out or fun. I ordered a $68 steak that was unedibly tough. The Mac n cheese was so bland that I wondered why you even added cheese. The oysters were not fresh. The service wasn't bad but the $700 bill for six people did not measure up to the food quality at that price level. The view is great but please step up your food or I will never eat here again. There are too many restaurants in the area that are far better. I could have gone to Darios or Touhy's or the Tides just to name a few for instance. We went to Cobalt because we were told there was a new chef that was 'creating' something special'
google avatar

Brian F.

Yelp
It's been a couple of years since we last dined here. We ate dinner outside which was nice. The service was very good. Our waiter constantly checked on us and was very friendly. However, the food here is just ok. Many things overcooked (octopus, hamburgers...)and over-salted (calamari, fries...). These items were essentially inedible. The waiter did the right thing and took off the bill. The portions were decent but the prices do not reflect the quality. It's convenient when staying at the hotel but don't think I'll rush to diner here again.
google avatar

CH B.

Yelp
Good brunch, friendly service, and a nice ambiance. Pleasantly surprised by how warm the restaurant feels given how big it is and its location in the hotel, though it's a separate entrance across from the main hotel entry.
google avatar

Carol H.

Yelp
We didn't know Cobalt was located in the Kimpton Vero Beach Hotel. Besides the name on the door, we didn't see any signs guiding us where to go. Once you enter the building, take the stairs to your right and turn left at the top of the stairs. We were greeted by friendly faces and was seated at a table with a nice view. Service was excellent. Besides the whipped potatoes being underseasoned, everything else tasted good. I feel the prices are high for what you get. Perhaps we are paying for the view and ambience. The only thing we didn't care for, was coming upon a dog as we were trying to leave. It was on a leash and was walking back and forth blocking our exit. I have nothing against dogs, but this is a restaurant and it was clearly not a service animal.
google avatar

Yelp
I really can't vouch for food because I didn't eat any. I came with a friend to sit out by the fire pits, there are three at least, and have a glass of wine. It was the first warmer evening we'd had in a while. The ocean was rocking, the moon was full, the night sky clear and it was just a little shy of perfection. Recommend for sure, the drink prices are pretty much what you would expect for upscale.

Lucille F.

Yelp
Went to Cobalts for a late lunch early dinner type of deal tail end of happy hour. The drinks were great red punch delicious. The waiter was from NYC and was a gracious host. The view of the water is unmatched as there are no other restaurants down A1A towards the inlet so I recommend the walk on the beach after a visit to Cobalts.
google avatar

Patty F.

Yelp
Food was amazingly! The filet was cooked perfectly and we had the crab cake with asparagus add on. The wilted spinach salad was the best I've ever had and the Brussels sprouts were perfection! Our server was delightful. This is a must repeat when we're back in town!!

Francine F.

Yelp
I had the absolute worst dining experience ever. We ordered and waited an hour for food. Food only came out when I got up to find "manager". He was useless. Why did we wait an hour, you ask? Because our waiter disappeared. Food came out-ice cold. Expensive steak and seafood. Manager offered to have another meal cooked, but after waiting an hour, that was a ridiculous offer. He removed the steaks and the inedible grilled chicken Caesar salad , but offered no discount on the other three ice cold meals. The waiter finally showed back up, no apology, and started handing out dessert menus! This restaurant in in a hotel, so I can see why they don't care about service, but we live locally and will never recommend this place. I have reached out to the General Manager, but after 3 weeks, it's clear I will not hear from him. After the food removed the ticket was still over $700

Carl F.

Yelp
Ambiance 10 Food quality 8 Prices 6 SERVICE NEGATIVE 10 Slowest and least attentive service in Vero. Too bad as it is a great location and quality food.
google avatar

Jan L.

Yelp
For $200 for two people, I expect a lot more than what we received. Service was good but kitchen was weak. Ordered skirt steak medium well done. It came rare and the interior cold. Sent it back and it returned still rare and cold. Roasted Brussel sprouts were burned on outside and mushy on inside. Carrots wit honey were overcooked and mushy. Sorry, but food was really mediocre. Don't bother unless you are stuck.

Yelp
Basically, Cobalt is disappointing. It was recommended by a friend and my business associate brought me here (I think because I had mentioned the name). I am absolutely not offended by expensive restaurants but if you are going to charge premium prices, you should offer premium quality food and atmosphere. Cobalt offered neither. I do have to say that our server did an excellent job. His descriptions of the wines made my selection much easier. I wish I could remember his name but it started with a W. Between the 3 of us, we had 2 entrees, a Caesar salad, a bowl of lobster bisque and one glass of wine. The bill came to $216 before tip. The Caesar salad tasted nothing at all like a Caesar salad and had huge overcooked croutons that could cut your mouth if you could actually get one in it. I'm not sure what it even tasted similar to. My swordfish was somewhat dry and could have used more of the blistered tomato topping that it came with. My friend didn't say anything about his lobster bisque but I believe he would have if it was outstanding. The restaurant was fairly loud and this was later in the evening when it wasn't terribly full. The atmosphere was very average. There was nothing really attractive about any of it. I included a slight view of the table and silverware to give you a feel for the look. Not impressive at all. It's unlikely that I'll be back but you never know.
google avatar

Nicholas G.

Yelp
Let's start with the food. Considering the high cost, which is comparable to very high end steak houses, the quality of the food just doesn't measure up. Not even close. My oysters were ok. (They were from Virginia). My steak was cooked to my liking temperature wise, but came out cold. Again, food was just ok. Just not worth the price. Also, the food took extremely long to come out despite the restaurant not being full. I'll give it two stars bc the service was great. The lady that took care of us was great. She was extremely nice and very attentive.

Yelp
We just spent 3 nights at the Kimpton Vero Beach. First nights dinner was here at Cobalt and though pricey, food quality and service was simply top notch. It is important to point out Tom - he was an absolute professional and master of his craft. Personable, friendly and knowledgeable. Wonderful experience.
google avatar

Jacob O.

Yelp
Carrolanne is the absolute HBIC (google it). Bubbles were amazing. The short rib and pasta truffle dish was amazing. Service was spectacular Uroy was amazing.

Mark L.

Yelp
A fools trap with a fake menu. Ambience good. Service good. Food - what's a nasty surprise. $300 poorly spent "Truffle" tagliatelle served with chicken and spinach. Nothing to do with truffles. Fake menu. "Wagyu" Coullette. Fake picanha from Publix. Truffle Carpaccio - minute. Someone is very creative with the menu as has faked half of the things that are on the menu for people who don't know better. Never again. Good luck to my fellow foodies.

Yelp
We needed an upscale dining experience for sister's 95th birthday. We found it at Cobalt next to the ocean in Vero Beach. It's an upscale venue featuring mostly American cuisine, sea food & steak We all started with a cocktail or wine, premium choices all around. Then starters were followed by entrees. Although I went rare as in unique with Truffle Tagliatelle, the rest of the party went traditional sea food or meat. The ocean side ambiance, servers & service are exceptional. This is a 5 star venue for special occasions.
google avatar

Elizabeth H.

Yelp
Beautiful view of the ocean. The atmosphere was chic and spacious. Excellent service. The shrimp cocktail was delicious.
google avatar

Rachel S.

Yelp
I want to like it, but my gosh the food is just not that good for the prices they are charging. The steaks are grossly over salted. Truffle fries were hard, not in a good crispy way. Few hundred dollar meal and would not go back. The server was sweet but never asked how we liked the food.
google avatar

John B.

Yelp
What a disappointing place. First, we had drinks for 4 of us; $200. Then we waited to eat until 8:30 even though were tables available to sit at. After being seated, the service was so poor and the waitress was very condescending. Now the food. Our steaks were OK; but not great by any means. The steaks were actually hard on the outside (too much seer) and hard to cut. The salad we had was good (best thing of the night). The appetizers are expensive for their size and how they taste. The califlower appetizer had an overwhelming lemon sauce and had been sitting so long it was soggy! The overall dinner was $400 for four of us for a average meal (at best). We all decided we would not be back to eat a meal here. So, $600 for 4 people should have been en exceptional night. It was not. For the prices they charge, this place should be a while lot better. Lastly. We used the valet parking and the following day I went to wash my car and the front right rim was significantly scored where they had hit a curb or something! This will cost another $400. Bad night......
google avatar

Howard N.

Yelp
Cobalt is a beautiful restaurant right on the beach. It has the best setting of all restaurants in Vero. The food has been variable over the years but is wonderful now. The service was really good. Perfectly prepared steaks. The shrimp cocktail was among the best as was the carpaccio.
google avatar

Bryan D.

Yelp
Well, what can I say?? I figured that for sure there would be something that would improve, but I was wrong. It had worsened. The place is literally falling apart. DIRTY!! No this was not at the end of the day, this was when they opened. Food crumbs on the tables, floors, seats. Floors are filthy and look like no one has thoroughly cleaned them in some time. Walls smeared with food. The furniture is trash and seats are falling apart. Bussing tables are a messy and on the dining floor??? I see the young staff on their phones while the place is dirty? Where is the manager? Where is ownership in maintaining the furnishings, and why is a restaurant like this in such bad shape? Place looks like a Denny's that is about to be closed down!

Julie S.

Yelp
As other reviewers have noted, the view and location right on the beach is stunning. However, everything else left a lot to be desired. Our server was so inattentive that we were forced to go find her inside (we were seated outside), more than once. The food was ok, but the portions were way too small for the prices changed. For example, the avocado toast ordered by my daughter was only slightly larger than a deck of cards. And yes, the signage needs to be better as far as directing guests to the elevator leading to the restaurant. Disappointing experience.
google avatar

Elle T.

Yelp
We made reservations for 8:15, came a bit early and was told to wait when the restaurant inside was empty. Came back at 8:15 and was asked if we wanted to sit outside, which was a yes due to the perfect evening weather. Excellent beach front location! Food was really good. Octopus and oysters Truffle pasta and short rib dinner Key lime pie Ordered a bottle of wine, but they were out, they recommended a top notch replacement for the same price. I would definitely come back when in the area!
google avatar

Stephen M.

Yelp
I don't know what happened to this place, it used to be the best and obviously the atmosphere is off the hook. I went recently with my mother ..less than memorable experience. I shouldn't even be wasting my breath on it ..we never even got addressed once we sat at the table and we were there for over a half hour unattended. The place was not busy, and there should've been no reason for this. It's a critical fail, especially at this end of the business, where they're trying to be such a high standard.

Pat L.

Yelp
So I went to poolside restaurant at the Vero Beach Hotel. The host told me that they were too busy to seat me and the kitchen was closed!! I was sent to their Cobalt Restaurant to grab a bite and ilI informed the host that they should be aware of the situation with their other kitchen and to expect an influx of hungry people!!. I was seated and waited 15 mins to get anyone to wait in me!!! Finally a LOVELY waitress named Brittney came to my table(rescue?!" She apologized right away and got my drink and meal request going. The meal came out wrong and Brittney immediately took action!! Cobalt was never informed that the other restaurant was sending over customers and had to extend their service past normal operating hours!!! Poor communication on their part! Thank you Brittany for making me comfortable! you were great!!

Fred M.

Yelp
I have a question for the owners of Cobalt. Do you think that you are the French Laundry or Per Se? How can you justify your prices? Presentation is what? Minimalist? And the greeting staff. We arrived early for our reservation and were told we had to wait for a table. There was only one other table with people on it and all the rest were empty! They wouldn't seat us until our reservation time. The food - wagyu beef was far from tender and was served medium when we asked for medium rare. This is for a postage stamp sized cut. The creamed spinach was over salted. Swordfish was cooked ok but was also over salted. Cobalt used to have a dress code but no longer - the taco place down the street has better standards. Not going here again until the place has new ownership and new staff - very disappointed.
google avatar

Joe G.

Yelp
Thanksgiving buffet. The food was mediocre and very overpriced for the quality. We sat outside and that was nice but the ambiance didn't overcome the food. There was no disclosure of a 20% gratuity prior to the presentation of the check. Would not repeat.

Kat H.

Yelp
Great staff, good appetizers and nice atmosphere. However, when you go to dinner specifically for the scallops and they're sold out BUT the wait staff promotes by telling you it's their favorite thing on the menu, it is certainly a disappointment. The bar is wildly loud early on a Sunday - with the over-served. I thought this was a good place? Likely I won't return.

Yelp
Ok, ok, I know we're in Covid and everything is a bit more difficult, but we had terrible service here last night, notwithstanding my previous review, and that this is remains great place. Maybe it was our waitress, who had zero personality except for the large chip on her shoulder. So what that we were sitting at a table not officially designated as a dinner table? --(the table next to us was in bounds and we were "out of bounds). The place was half full anyway. We were told it was a happy hour table, so we weren't entitled to table service. Ridiculous. Four of us, prepared to go soup to nuts for a $400 dinner, and yet they gave us a hard time. They served us our appetizers in a cardboard box, the way one gets served poolside. The entire evening was a screw up. We even had to get up several times to retrieve our drinks and appetizer orders at the bar because we were not at an official dinner table. For service I deducted two stars from my previous review. Restaurant management: get your act together! Fire our waitress and the host while you're at it.

Yelp
We'll pet-loving yelpers; it's the end of a beautiful relationship with Cobalt. Since 2009 I have been coming to VBH's restaurant Cobalt, and I have 95% of the time had my beloved pet in tow. This morning was no different; I said good morning and asked for a shady spot on the patio for breakfast. The two hostesses, who could not be more than 17 years old, rolled their eyes and stated, "NO DOGS ALLOWED." I politely said I've been a loyal customer for many years and have always come for breakfast/lunch on the patio and had my dog with me. They then stated, "oh, only service dogs allowed." I asked which is it? They said that's the rule and looked at each dumbfounded, clearly showing they didn't know what the rule was. I asked for a manager and was told: "they are not available." I want to add the level of customer service in Cobalt has declined dramatically over the past few years, and the same with the menu, removing long-time locals' favorite items and overdone food, etc. I spoke briefly to the valet on duty, and he agreed that the restaurant had seen a considerable decline. The quality of customer service is due to hiring inexperienced individuals with little to no manners or ability to speak to adults with respect! We high-five on that statement. So yelpers, visit at your discretion, and I will be taking my Sunday breakfast routine elsewhere! If the pup can't attend, I won't either...that's how I roll! CHEERS!!

Yelp
This is more about the service and not the quality of food or drinks (which were both superb). My wife and I are not squeaky wheels but what really bothered us was we ordered a scallop dish from the menu and got a totally different scallop dish (was on farro and tomatoes instead of apple and sweet potato hash with cauliflower puree). What happened was we were accidently given an old menu. I feel like most above average restaurants would have compensated us for this mistake, especially for the money. This would be 5 Star review if they did. Instead they just apologized and moved on. We maybe even saved other patrons from running into the same mistake.. You're welcome.

Kimmy S.

Yelp
Best dinner I have ever had. Salmon is like butter. Filet is so flavorful. Slab of bacon is a great appetizer highly recommend if you are looking for a nice dinner out in vero!! Not to mention staff and service is fantastic as well.

Marie C.

Yelp
terrible place, we were local residents of Vero Beach, been at the bar and restaurant numerous times. Today hight season, president week, they refuse to serve us any drinks. we were considered walk ins! we weren't before. They told us to come back at Happy Hour, we were not interested in Happy Hour we wanted drinks and small plates. They were nasty and made us feel as if we were crashers. We are the people that keep them in business off season. What a disgrace they way they behaved. None of us will ever set foot in this place. They should hire or train their people better on how to treat customers. Adieu, never again.

Yelp
I recently dined at Cobalt in the Kimpton in Vero Beach and unfortunately, the experience left much to be desired. The dishes were marred by excessive saltiness, the quality of the steaks was questionable, and a few of the tastes were pretentious and flat-out sucked. The tuna appetizer, marinated with brown sugar/cloves/I'm not sure but something that doesn't work had an odd taste. Frankly, it was terrible. Actually it was so bad, a party of seven left half of it. Also, in our party was a gentleman that ordered a strip steak that tasted like it was taken out of the dumpster pre-covid and getting salted ever since. Overall, the dining experience at Cobalt was underwhelming and a serious disappointment. Wake up and smell the coffee Cobalt. Give the salt shaker a rest!

Yelp
I usually don't post a review but I felt I needed to after my latest dining experience. It was one of the best dining experiences I've had. The atmosphere was relaxing amongst the fire pits and the ocean backdrop. The restaurant is situated on the beach. The service was excellent. The food was fantastic. And we were greeted and checked on numerous times by the manager, Uroy. He was pleasant and very attentive to our experience. Our server, Nikki, also was very attentive added to our dining experience. I highly recommend

Yelp
Wow! WHAT A RESTAURANT!! Absolutely amazing food and the service was impeccable. I got the NY Strip and my wife got the scallops. Burrata was delicious and desserts are on point. Please make sure you go here if you're in town or want an amazing night out. Blake is a 10 star server. Perfectly attentive, knowledgeable and just overall awesome personality. Management needs to make sure they take care of this guy he is one of the top reasons I will be coming back. Management of Cobalt, please take care of this guy some how. I run my own business and customer service is very important to me and I haven't had a server that amazing in years. Thank you Blake for being such an amazing server.
