"Home to the Atlanta Ballet and the Atlanta Opera, seeing a show at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre is a perfect excuse for getting gussied up in that fancy frock or tailored suit you’ve been saving for a special occasion. A glittering evening at the ballet or opera, or taking in a concert here, is also a great excuse for indulging in a fine meal beforehand, followed by cocktails and late-night bites once the curtain comes down after the show." - Henna Bakshi

Second time I've been to a concert at this place and had a good experience. Sat in the front row of the R-Orchestra seats with a great view. Acoustics are on point. Drinks and food were better than expected. Decent amount of parking available. We parked across the street to avoid getting in too late, as there was a long line for the actual parking lot. Plus it was cheaper. Can't wait for another concert of my liking to attend there!

Google
We had a wonderful time at the legends of laughter concert . This was our first time visiting the Cobb Energy performing arts center. Parking was easy and seamless. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The seating was wonderful.... It was truly a great experience.....

Google
Love the intimate atmosphere of this place. Enjoyed the 19th Annual Blues Festival here featuring King George. Parking was easy, place was nice and clean, employees were helpful with locating seats and with any other questions we had. Can’t wait to attend another event here.

Google
Fabulous place, ambiance was fly. Food was ...ehhh,, drinks were high but the vibe was awesome the sound system was huge and superior in clarity the bass was low ans hit hard the sound sman did an incredible job

Google
What a wonderful venue, so nice and not overly large. You still feel a more intimate vibe even if you aren’t in the very front section. Great sound, great view, clean large restrooms for the intermission. Nice concessions / snacks, all staff were super helpful and friendly. On site parking garage which makes it easier to get into the venue. We saw Shen Yun most recently and absolutely loved the show. Will be coming back for more shows!

Google
Easy to get in and out of this venue. It's directly off the interstate and has dedicated parking. The facility is in immaculate condition and everyone that works there was polite and helpful. We will be going to see more shows. This picture is from the very back row all the way to the left so there are NO bad seats. We were able to see the ballet just fine. Obviously closer seats would be better but again there are no bad seats. Spend the money, see the show, it is worth it!

I love supporting local and visiting plays. This was a treat! This show was very entertaining. We caught the 3pm show on May 17th. The games women play. Cole from Martin is the Director / Produced by Je'Caryous Johnson.

We had a beautiful experience at the cobb energy performing arts centre! So comfortable and clean. The acoustics are incredible and the talent they bring to the stage is unmatched!

Yelp
Super venue - great seats everywhere, easy parking, everybody really nice and friendly. The ballet performance was outstanding, the music, the dance, the stage production.

Yelp
Attending a recent performance of Sonic Symphony at Cobb Energy Performing Arts Center was a complete disappointment--not because of the performance itself, which was (and always is) fantastic, but because of the utterly unprofessional and downright rude behavior of the venue's staff. Between tickets, concessions, merchandise, and parking, my party spent over $600. For that amount, I expected to feel like a valued guest, but the way I was treated at the end of the night left me feeling like little more than an inconvenience. At the end of the show, I experienced a bathroom emergency. When I tried to use the restroom, I was met with blocked access and an employee who couldn't have cared less about my situation. Despite explaining my urgent need, I was rudely told I could only use a restroom that was fully occupied, because apparently, the rest of the venue was "closed." This lack of empathy and basic decency was shocking. What's even more upsetting is seeing other reviews here that detail similar experiences--ushers and staff who treat paying guests with impatience and hostility, rushing them out of the venue as though they can't leave fast enough. It's clear this isn't an isolated incident but rather a pervasive attitude that undermines the entire guest experience. Cobb Energy Performing Arts Center, you need to do better. Having frequented [often] the Fox and the Alliance, as well as other smaller venues in the metro area, I have never experienced, at any of them, the kind of horrific disregard I was met with tonight. The performances you host deserve a staff that matches their professionalism, not one that actively ruins the experience for paying guests. I won't be returning until this venue learns how to treat people with the respect they deserve. For now, at least until this situation is addressed and fully rectified, I sadly can no longer recommend this place to anyone. Recent communication with Cobb Energy's administration have been underwhelming. Any effort on my part to get the situation resolved has been met with extreme apathy and avoidance.

Yelp
This was my second time at this venue and it still does not disappoint! There is plenty of parking($17). The inside is nice, not too big, nor too small. I love it! There looks to be no bad seat in the house. I've done tier 2 and this recent event 2nd row. The staff are always pleasant and very helpful. I was here December 1, to see my top favorite rapper Jadakiss perform with an orchestra and it was great, great!! They offer concession style food hot dogs, popcorn, pretzels, etc. but they do have a full bar. If you have ever been curious about going to show here, definitely go check it out. And they have clean restrooms....Win!!!

Jordan S.

Yelp
I had a Rex Orange County concert here and it was so amazing! The staff was the NICEST staff i've ever encountered in a concert setting; so helpful, kind and professional. The drinks were good and not crazily overpriced. Area was clean, the center was BEAUTIFUL and parking was a breeze! Absolutely LOVED this arts center!!!

Inez R.

Yelp
We went to see Sonic Symphony. It is a a nice venue and will definitely go again for other events! Not a bad seat in the house. Staff is very helpful!

Yelp
The food is pricey but it was good. The pretzel was salty salty.. I still ate it (don't judge me) get cheese or it's dry. Service- EVERYONE was nice. The chaperones were all phenomenal. The ambiance well it's the Cobb Energy..... the performances was nothing short of amazing! Will Downing & Jeffery Osborne did that.... It was freezing- which a few were saying made them uncomfortable (I get it). Love this place!

Yelp
Saw the nutcracker December 2024. The show was great but the venue was so clean. The parking close by directly across the street, it was more than convenient. It was free! The Staff was super friendly and guided us to our seats with a smile on their face. They were well informed as to the length of the show acts and the intermissions.

Tamika L.

Yelp
There is not a bad seat in the house! This is a great venue with comfortable seating and easy access. The parking garage is close enough to not have to walk in the elements or endure extreme temperatures. That's also a bonus. We had tickets at will call and retrieval was a simple process. Once inside, we found the staff to be friendly and eager to help. We were directed to our seats and enjoyed the clarity of the audio system. I wish more artists would perform here instead of arenas and stadiums. This was clearly intended for music and vocals. They sounded great. While we didn't try any concessions, they were available. We saw a full bar, sandwiches and snacks as options. Not sure of the prices compared to other venues, but they had a very nice variety to choose from.

Yelp
I came for a ballet performance on a Sunday afternoon. I had a wonderful experience. Everyone is very polite and helpful. It's accommodating for service animals and handicapped. You don't have to drive into Atlanta which is a win for me. PARKING: You can park at the venue for $18 ($15 plus a $3 fee -credit card required ) OR you can park directly across the street for $10 cash. The police are on site to help folks walk across the street. You can use Spot Hero to reserve a spot across the street in advance. There isn't a big difference between the parking lots, it's a matter of preference. Don't park in the shopping area, your car will get booted if you do. Other than that, you can buy light refreshments and wine or souvenirs.

Yelp
We received tickets for the Glenn Miller Orchestra performing at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Center. What a good experience! The band was amazing! The venue was perfect for this event. Honestly, there isn't a bad seat in the house. The acoustics are good, the seats are pretty comfortable, and everything is clean. We will definitely be on the lookout for more events to attend here in the future!

Elaine P.

Yelp
I was skeptical about having to drive 1 hour for concert, it was worth the trip. I enjoyed the entire experience, right off interstate. They sold refreshments and had plenty of restrooms.

LaWanda N.

Yelp
I absolutely love this venue! There's literally not a bad seat in the house. It's nicely decorated, restrooms are always well maintained, they have several bars to accommodate the guests adequately as well. We went to see the Jazz Explosion this past Sunday. When I say it was an amazing concert, it was!!!! The artists were Mindi Abair (which we missed because we were coming back from Orlando ), Norman Brown - who did an incredible performance, and R&R - Richard Elliot and Rick Braun - absolutely killed it!!! It was a phenomenal show! Can't wait for Sea Breeze later this month!....more live jazz posts to follow!

Elia H.

Yelp
Beautiful place with parking lot nearby,I highly recommend this place!! Went there for Reik's concert and it was so beautiful! The crew super friendly and nice!! I will come back again of course!

Emily M.

Yelp
The center is really pretty and comfortable seats. It's very clean and staff very polite and helpful. I can only review from a concert standpoint. I'm sure it's a lovely place for a ballet. The concert sound was not good we had fairly close seats in the middle. Normally this was an artist that you can understand the words while singing. We could not understand a word even when he was talking. The sound was distorted and at first hard to recognize the song. One more thing that seemed odd, there were 3 speakers on the floor in front of the singer that covered him up right below the knees. I have been to many concerts through the years and must say it was disappointing. I wish I could say I would go again but sadly no.

Yelp
We went for Madama Butterfly's last performance this season. A few things on my mind... The organization sent good and informative emails for prep. The reality at the door was a bit more chaotic... from access to the parking lot (that was the longest I've ever waited to turn to the lot in my life), staff not equipped to receive cashless payments (it's the 21St century... might be worth updating the systems), and the entrance bottleneck... I mean... this is not the first show they've had, right? Going up to our seats was fine, the seats themselves were some of the most uncomfortable I've been in in a while - not ideal for 3h sitting down. The worst of it was... leaving... we were in a line to exit the parking deck for a good hour. About time Atlanta expands the MARTA away from the city center... this place and the Battery could certainly benefit from that. Not to mention the environment...

Yelp
Some friends wanted to see Don Quixote by Atlanta Ballet. Tickets were relatively affordable; we chose seats that came out to just under $50. I didn't have a chance to check on parking details (one friend bought all of our tickets and we paid her back), so I sweated a bit when I pulled up to the parking garage and saw a guy accepting cash for parking ($15). Luckily I found a $20 in my wallet...not sure if the attendant had a card reader. There was a long line of cars trying to get in, so definitely arrive at least 20 minutes before show time since you also have to go through security (metal detector), I saw others say this in reviews too, but the exterior definitely looks more fancy than the interior. I thought the rows were pretty close together...just me? The height of the tiers could be improved; I had to lean over in my seat a bit to see between the two heads in front of me. I was impressed by the stage design and the set. The performance was great! The concessions area was packed before the show and during intermission. They definitely could use more space to accommodate another stand for people to get food (there were two bars set up). People came back into the room just in time for the show starting back up.

Yelp
I have lived in Cobb County for a number of years, but never had the pleasure of visiting The Cobb Energy Centre. This all changed when a friend was unable to attend the ballet that she purchased a ticket for. As noted above, I visited the center to watch the ballet. In an effort to not have to deal with parking, I was dropped off. This process was simple. The parking staff directed us to turn left and we were right at the front entrance. Directly before entering the facility my ticket was scanned. The next step was to go through security. The staff did a very thorough search of my purse. After making it past security I saw the concession area so I headed in that direction. The concession is small, but offered items such as popcorn, candy, and both alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. I was going to purchase some popcorn but did confirm that food was not allowed inside the theater. Finding my seat was easy. They have signs that assist. Once you arrive at the door closest to your seat they do have ushers to assist you. I was seated to the right of the stage, and slightly off the floor. It was a perfect seat to me! It was comfortable and I had plenty of legroom. The venue is well designed and laid out, ensuring excellent views of the stage from every seat in the house. The sound system is top-notch, providing crystal-clear audio that complements the performances perfectly. One of the things that truly sets the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre apart is its diverse range of programming. From Broadway shows and musicals to classical concerts and comedy acts, there is something for everyone here. The venue hosts world-class performers from around the globe, making it a must-visit destination for culture enthusiasts. Overall, the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre is a wonderful venue that offers an outstanding experience for anyone looking to enjoy live performances in a beautiful and well-designed setting. I look forward to visiting the center in the future.

Yelp
What a lovely evening. We have always wanted to experience going to the opera. They say it's an ethereal experience. Listening to symphonic music in accord with lofty beautiful impressive opera. The story is incredibly interesting but not unfamiliar with todays approach to irresponsibility and lack of tact. The poor woman who's love interest during the war prompted an unexpected turn of events in which she bore him a child. Then the solder heads back to the states and proceeds to carry on with a life separate from the mother and child who in the other side of the ocean hoping he will come back to reclaim them both. The cool thing is that they on top of the stage where the curtains are is a super caption. Incredibly useful for us and the other theater goers. The words are transcribed here along with some Thematic set ups. I highly recommend going to an opera at least once in their lifetime. It is an acoustic event that you will never forget and respect for those who sing at that level. Wow...

Ottis M.

Yelp
We attended the Nutcracker today for the first time at the Centre. One of our guests has cognitive issues and struggled with tickets. Brittany Hunn in the ticket office jumped through hoops to fix things and saved the day! The Centre is lucky to have her.

Valeria A.

Yelp
The food tastings were really cool, and everything was served very efficiently no long lines, the staff was wonderful. They had face painting and giveaways. All the volunteers were wonderful the performance of the participants from ArtsBridge were amazing. The performers from the Atlanta ballet and the Atlanta opera house were terrific. I got a free T-shirt while at the venue along with getting my face painted. This was one of the best free events that I have been to in many years. Being entertained by the Atlanta Braves Heavy Hitters drummers was cool too. Cobb Energy performing arts Center Suite 16 was great.

Russell B.

Yelp
The Atlanta Ballet Nutcracker at the Cobb Energy PAC for years has been a tradition for me to travel to see. I have not been in the last 10 years. This visit was intended to restart that tradition. I would have given this visit 4 stars however, the parking experience alone could have taken this to a 2 Star. The Center has to do better here. It took me 30 minutes to go 1/4 mile to park on site. The lines for food and drinks could have been managed better given other encumbrances such as pop-up stands competing with the lines for refreshments. That's my rant. The performance as in the past did not disappoint. It was a wonderful display of the nutcracker with modest changes to its presentation. If you ever visit the Center I would recommend seeing the Atlanta Ballet presentation of the Nutcracker.

Paulina A.

Yelp
Cobb Energy Performing Arts Center is a beautiful venue displaying modern architecture on the exterior and a contemporary style in the interior. We came here for the Atlanta Ballet performance "Giselle." The check-in process was seamless and efficient. During intermission, there are snacks offered at the concession stand and a kiosk with keepsake memorabilia. There is also a beautiful patio to enjoy during intermission on a sunny day. I would certainly come back to see another performance here.

Whitney H.

Yelp
This venue is absolutely beautiful. We spent an evening here watching Bert Kreischer. They didn't have a mask mandate or require proof of negative covid test, or covid vaccine cards, but or even temperature checks. They also didn't space out seating... So if close quarters freak you out, I wouldn't go here. The bathrooms were clean and lines weren't terribly long. We didn't get a chance to try any drinks or food due to traffic making us late. Parking was kind of a nightmare. It's also expensive. $15-$20 depending on where you park.

A F.

Yelp
Atlanta Opera's gorgeous "Die Walküre" brought me to the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre for the first time. It's a beautiful opera house, unfortunately marred for music by the loud, constant hum of fans or blowers (presumably the air conditioning, perhaps also fans cooling the spotlights). The quieter episodes of the opera were all trying to occupy the same soundspace as blowing air. Bravi to the artists of Atlanta Opera for the performance.

Samantha V.

Yelp
I'd never been here before although I've noted that many of the artistes and shows that I'm interested in happen here. It was a rather quick 30 minute ride from East Atlanta to Cobb county. There were parking directions by the entrance. $15 the day of our event. Parking is ample and right in front of the building if you're early. Across the street from the venue if that fills up. Very nice and up to date building. Friendly staff, quick working elevators and I counted at least five bars with beverages and snacks. The seating was clean and to be honest-there's not a bad seat in the house. You will still see and hear the stage no matter how far away you're sitting. Oh and the bathrooms were well kept and clean!

Philip M.

Yelp
My coworker and I came here for Porgy and Bess. Ticket prices were reasonable for the seats we selected. Parking was ample in the attached covered deck however it is ten dollars additional and not included in the ticket prices. Ideally they need to include the parking in the ticket prices. This would eliminate the long traffic lines of patrons slowly paying the parking fee. It was a painfully process. Entry was well staffed and it was quick to go through security and have our tickets scanned. Hand sanitizer stations were everywhere which was a nice touch. Bars were set up and staffed with friendly staff and decent wine and drinks. The men's bathrooms were spacious and clean. My female coworker had a significant long wait to use both ladies bathrooms near our seats. All staff and ushers were friendly. The seats were comfortable but still too narrow. The seats need a slight increase in space and parking fees need to be included in ticket prices for five stars. We recommend this venue.

Clay J.

Yelp
Venue is fine. Staff are polite and professional. Parking is absurd. Horrible end to the night at the Jim Gaffigan show last night. We were unable to get out of our parking space for over 40 minutes. Once we got out of our space it was another 20 minutes to exit the parking garage. At some point a parking attendant walked up the ramp and said there's construction and limiting the exit paths. When we got out of the garage, three parking attendants were standing around joking with their blinking flashlights and there was no sign of any construction or restricted egress path. Out on the street an hour after we got in our vehicle, there were 3 uniformed police officers casually waving their blinking flashlights. Still no construction or any reason the egress of the parking garage should have been so ridiculous. Adding; we were on the 3rd deck and maybe ~150 cars between the exit and our parking space. Absolutely no reason that should've taken an hour. It was longer than Jim Gaffigan was on stage.

Kiara S.

Yelp
My husband and I went here to see the last showing of Coco Chanel. The show itself was wonderful, the theatre is clean and the concession are reasonable and delicious. Unfortunately, the evening was tainted by a rude staff member with a walkie talkie that singled me out twice to leave the lobby at the conclusion of the show although there are many many other people in the lobby waiting. I just happened to be 38 weeks pregnant waiting for my husband to drive around to pick me up at the end of the show. Extremely inconsiderate!

Deanna A.

Yelp
What a wonderful experience! Got to see one of our favorite entertainment performers. Our seats were amazing. It was such a fantastic time

Preeti M.

Yelp
We attended the Nutcracker Ballet at the Cobb center. Beautiful theatre and even nicer staff! The ballet was simply spectacular! The theatre is located in a beautiful neighborhood. As for parking, they have plenty of paid parking ($15) adjoining the theatre, it's very convenient. We reached a couple of hours early as we drove down from Savannah, and although the entry was opened to artists, it wasn't open for the audience yet. They only open the doors an hour before the show. The people at the entrance were nice enough to give us directions to the mall that's walking distance from there. We spent time there until it was time for the show. Once the doors were opened, everyone was waiting in the lobby until the stage doors opened for seating. Lobby is beautifully decorated for Christmas. There are a lot of stalls with Nutcracker paraphernalia for sale. They also have a bar and snack stands. One thing we noticed that could be better was the lack of adequate seating in the lobby. There were only one or two seats - many seniors were not able to find a spot to sit. The theatre is beautiful inside and the various scenes interspersed with animation is brilliant! The performers were flawless - very talented. It was a joy to watch the performance - we highly recommend!

Leah M.

Yelp
This is a very beautiful venue, it's large and well-designed. On this occasion I attended the Atlanta Ballet, they performed their rendition of Black Swan. Looking at the advertisements for past and future shows it depicted diverse interests being performed at this theater. The items sold before during and after the performance were set up very nicely several areas to purchase libations, soft drinks and additionally they sold small appetizer items. I didn't order anything as we just came from a full brunch. However I did purchase a few souvenir items, some items were priced fairly and appropriately however were excessively priced such as a tote bag for $25. But I'm sure that's supporting the Ballet company. Once inside the theater you will find there isn't a bad seat in the house. You can really tell this is a modern building as the seats were roomy and comfortable. The cushion felt nice, they were clean with plenty of legroom. I look forward to other performances here.

Annie M.

Yelp
This is an awesome venue! They're super organized, they have seating, they're huge, plenty of parking ... I do wish the seats were a little bigger because if you end up sitting beside a man spreader or an extra wide behind, you really do get squished. They have plenty of employees to guide you to your seat, people directing you all over the venue to where you need to be. The bathrooms are always clean and there's always a parking spot. The food is.. well, concert food. Don't expect grandiose meals. You can get an overpriced hot dog and a couple other items. We saw Lindsey Stirling and it was phenomenal. I do recommend if you're going to a show you actually want to see, splurge for close seats. This place is HUGE. If you get anything farther back, yes the seats get cheap but you won't be able to see a thing. Those cheap seats are so far, people will look like specks (slight exaggeration) but you won't see faces. So if that's important to you, get close seats. We sat in the 6th row and it was totally worth the cost.

Bob S.

Yelp
Beware, no security is evident in parking deck after shows begin. Chaos! Attended 8PM show at CEPAC on Saturday, April 23 and parked in deck for $15. After show, we had a quick bite to eat across street at Grub Burger Bar at Akers Mill Plaza to let traffic diminish before departure. Returning to deck around 10:30PM to depart, a prom in adjacent CEPAC ballroom had let out and teens were street racing up and down in deck! Other teens were mulling around 3rd floor deck near elevator, blocking traffic with large vehicle across center, and making lots of noise. Sorry, I should have taken photos or video. CEPAC is a nice venue that sorely needs new management and decent sound system. So much reverb that it was difficult for both of us to understand dialogue from stage performers. Sad, but true.

Jonathan H.

Yelp
Parking was super easy, entry into the building was done quickly and professionally, the bathrooms were beyond clean, and the concessions had a large variety of options! We were really pleased with our visit to the Cobb energy performing arts center!

Michelle S.

Yelp
I have been to a lot of concerts in my life and I've been to many venues and this has to be the best venue I've ever been to. The workers are all so nice and helpful. They all wear theatre uniforms and are ready to help at all times. The venue manager, I think her name is Angie, went above and beyond for my partner and I. She was so kind and helpful with our needs. Great place. I only wish there was a standing section to dance.

Aliesha K.

Yelp
I'm here currently, still waiting on the doors to open, still have let us in to take our seats to watch Shen Yun. I'm wearing heals!! Should've worn sweats and sneakers. SMH !!!

Jones H.

Yelp
Shen Yun!! This was one of the amazing shows I've ever seen in my life! I enjoyed the music and the beautiful ballet, the way their bodies moved to the music was magical. I love their talents and wish I could go to every show every night here.

Stephen V.

Yelp
Was turned away at the Heilung concert at Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre because they considered my bone jewelry to be a "weapon" meanwhile we saw -some- other people allowed in wearing horns. To not expect people to wear bones to a concert where the bands instruments are made of bones is outrageous. We had to Uber back to our hotel and are now waiting on an Uber back to the venue. We will now be late for the concert. Perhaps Cobb should have considered being more specific on their website when they knew full well what people would be wearing to this concert. I will never attend another event at this venue.

Steve G.

Yelp
Great concert beautiful facility- concessions and bars close before intermission- what planet does this happen on ? So lame -

Sharon C.

Yelp
This is a really nice and well organized theatre. They have a huge parking garage within a shirt walking distance as well. The attendants and staff were all professional and nice. They offer a nice concession area with snacks and drinks. The bathroom facilities are also nice, plenty, and very clean. The interior of the theatre was really up to date. Beautiful Red colors, huge chandelier, and the seats were decently comfortable.

Millie S.

Yelp
I have experienced two comedies and a love story at the Codd Energy Performing Arts Centre. Going to the opera is one of my favorite things to do... who am I kidding! I cannot tell a lie. I have a profound love for ALL the "Arts" and much respect for the people who transports others every day into a world of fantasy or realities through story -telling, dance, music, science and philosophy. Aesthetically, The Codd Energy Centre is nice looking. Not over the top, and on the small side, it is probably just enough to give its Atlanta GA guest a touch of glamour for the night. There is a convenient and comfortable Uber/Car drop off in front of the venue, as well as parking garage at a low ($) cost located to the side of the building. Performances have been fantastic, and if you need a drink (Alcoholic or not) and a snack to make the evening just a little bit more magical, they have a couple of bar like stands to accommodate.

Peter N.

Yelp
OK, I only visited because I'm a huge fan of the Walking Dead! The survivors attempt to reach this building, which was the CDC in the show, in Episode 5 of Season 1, "Wildfire", in a desperate attempt to obtain assistance and aid from the government. "You know what this place is?! We protected the public from very nasty stuff! Weaponized smallpox! Ebola strains that could wipe out half the country! Stuff you don't want getting out! Ever!" --Dr. Jenner shouting at the group about the CDC

Sara M.

Yelp
This is really a beautiful venue. Although it's not close to where I live, it's pretty convenient to get to, which I appreciate. I have been here a couple of times, both to see the Atlanta Opera. I enjoyed the experience and the venue staff is helpful. The only thing I don't like is that you can bring the bottled water they sell at the concessions stand into the theater. It means that anytime someone, for whatever reason, decides they absolutely need water in the middle of a performance, the entire theater is subjected to the crinkling of the thin, flimsy plastic bottle. Like, the show is three hours with an intermission - you can wait. You're not dying of thirst. Parking is super convenient, which is always a plus. It was $10 to park in the garage. I don't get out to Cobb often but the Atlanta Opera is always worth a visit to this theater!

Yelp
Good Morning Horrible experience SHEN YU My January 15th , 7:30 p.m. show at the Cobb Performing Art Center in Atlanta, Georgia. I was very disappointed this year because setted behind us was a family with several small , loud talkative, active and disrespectful children, as well as their parents. One of my friends after 90 minutes turned around an had to tell the parents about their noise and to be quiet. Naturally they tried but the children just couldn't be quiet. I wasted almost $400 on two tickets, not to mention the other friend I was traveling with. We all spoke about this an found this to be very shameful and disrespect for us to have to deal with the noise of other adults who brought their children. All 7 individuals in the front was disguised by what we had to endure during the entire performance. I'm not sure if either of us will attend your show EVER again and I will post this online because no one should have to deal with children with there drunk parents. There should be an age requirement or adult showing only. I would have expected more from Shen Yu, sadly all my ratings will be low this year , as well as the negative post. Regards

Yelp
Located just off I-75 near the Cobb Cloverleaf interchange, the Cobb Energy Centre is a relatively new and beautiful performing arts venue. The theater opened in 2007 and can seat 2,750 people. I checked out the theater last weekend for the Atlanta Ballet's performance of Moulin Rouge. There are three levels of seating inside the auditorium and I don't think there's a bad seat in the house. The auditorium, concourse, atrium, and courtyards are modern, elegant, and aesthetically pleasing. A tall multi-story glass facade adorns the front of the complex, which allows natural light to fill the atrium and concourse. Food and beverage service is available, before performances and during intermission, serving some high-end fare including wine. The theater staff are knowledgeable and accommodating. Valet parking is available right in front of the center for $10 or you can self-park in the parking deck for $6. Luckily, Addy C. called me just as I was about to turn into the deck. She told me about the free parking lot just across the street. The lot is located across from where you turn into the front of the center on Cobb Galleria Parkway. It's a large surface lot located behind Sports Authority, Party City, LA Fitness, and the Embassy Suites. It's safe and located within short walking distance to the center.

Yelp
I've attended various work functions and networking events at the Cobb Energy Center. It's huge inside and very well maintained. They have several large spaces that can be used for both large, medium, and smaller events. Bathrooms are also well kept. I wish they had more bathrooms available though considering the size of the place. Unfortunately the parking is a bit of an inconvenience. They have a smaller parking area that's shared with other local businesses. It connects to Galleria Mall or what's left of it. They also have a parking deck that requires a bit walking; therefore, if you are carrying a lot of things into the event or not able to walk a good bit of distance I would suggest having someone drop you off in the front drop off area. One plus is that it's free parking though. Happy hunting!

Yelp
Nice venue for professional meetings and conferences. One of the technical societies that I belong to has an annual conference at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Center. The facilities are modern and clean. The food served for lunch and during breaks is very good. Morever, the panko chicken served today was very good. Often at conferences you get the standard rubber chicken dinner, not here at CEPAC.

Yelp
2/14/2019 around 1030-11am was ruined because of a geriatric caucasian lady whom was an usher was harrassing our autistic class. I hate I was unable to get her name but I do want to file a complaint. I wouldve given a 5 star review had we not been harrassed by her. It was a class field trip of many neighboring schools in Cobb County. We were sitted in the second section from the front row seating (about 3-4 rows) on the left (if you are seated facing the stage). Myself and another parapro explained the teacher of the class was helping an autistic child in our party cope with being over stimulated. She barked "YOU CANT SAVE SEATS ITS A FULL HOUSE!" i explained to her again this teacher and said student is apart of our group and all classes must be seated together. She barked again "Well im sorry you cant save seats..." The other parapro explained to her those 2 seats are for the teacher and the student, THEY ARE IN OUR GROUP! She questioned what wouldve been the difference had they both been there and took the student to the restroom. She went back and forth with me and the parapro until the teacher arrived with the student. Once she saw the teacher was caucasian she walked off without an apology of harrassing us. The whole time 2 children were melting down because of the ushers unnecessary aggression towards us. No one got rowdy or disrespectful with her, we are the professionals here clearly not her! Im not the type to throw the race card around but I noticed she didnt not behave that way towards other caucasian teachers they way she harrassed me (latina american) and the para pro (african american). It left us very soured and we could barely enjoy the ballet we were there to watch. When the show was about to start a young lady on stage announced no flash photography or videography and if everyone could silence their phones. Being i was juggling between 2 special needs students upset the lights suddenly dimmed, once i got them calm, i was digging through my purse to silence my phone. She came charging out of the darkness shouting YOU HAVE TO TURN YOUR PHONE OFF! I had some choice words for her but I didnt want to cause any problems. When she charged over my phone was in the process of powering off and the show wasnt even started yet! Im disgusted by the whole experience not once did she seemed concerned about our special needs students who became upset when the lights dimmed but she could come harrass me over my phone that was powering off. When saw it was powering off she had the most ridiculous look on her face like her old ass was trying to "bust me". I would never come back here and spend my money. although the ballet was beautiful that woman ruined our whole experience! If i saw her picture on a company directory i could point her out. Whats sad is i have videos of before the show how helpful and kind all the other ushers and staff were. Shes a disgrace to her profession!

Yelp
Our third Christmas concert at Cobb Energy Performing arts Center and again it was magnificent! This year our seats were closer and on the first level therefore we had a great view and their sound system is great. We paid for parking in advance so it was really easy to get in and find a parking spot near the elevator and a very short walk to the front entrance. The Christmas decorations inside are beautiful and I can't wait to attend next year!
