What an amazing tasting menu experience! The decor makes you feel like you've walked into a movie set from the 30s. Antique furniture gives vibes of opulence, yet everything is warm and inviting. Seating is comfortable. Reservations were easy, and you can tell they spent time and care crafting the tasting menu and wine parings. I was excitedvenough to trybeach course that I did not get everything written down. 1st course was Carrot, kolrabi, emuilison garlic and one of my favorites of the night. Next was Rice vermicelli noodles lime braised lamb toasted peanuts, scallions-'asian inspired' they said and while good, did not mesh with the rest. 3rd was Green Garlic veloute pork tenderloin, garlic scapes,- deviously creamy and not too strong. Next was Flar iron steak , asparagus in a sauce I'll be talking about for years. Finally ' floating Islands' a marshmellow, strawberry, mint and cream desert that stole the show. Service was impeccable, smart and friendly. Excellent all around. You deserve stars.

My wife and I ate dinner here to celebrate our anniversary, and Cobble Hill did not disappoint! The atmosphere was intimate, the service exceptional, and the food was the best meal we have ever eaten. 1000% would eat here again!

Google
We an excellent experience at Cobble Hill! Everything was super tasty, and I really appreciated the seasonal menu. Since the menu changes frequently, it’s probably not worth describing each dish - but my husband and I loved everything we had! My fish was cooked perfectly, the appetizer was delicious, and we liked all of our drinks as well. Our server was knowledgeable and kept our meal right on pace. The building itself is super cute and the ambiance of the interior is perfect for a cute date night!

Cobble Hill is an absolute gem. The food was exceptional—each dish plated like a work of art and bursting with unforgettable flavor. The atmosphere is stunning, striking the perfect balance between warmth and sophistication. Service was personal, attentive, and made the entire experience feel special. A must-visit for anyone who appreciates fine dining done right. Bonus —Vegetarians are not forgotten 💕

Everything, and I mean everything, was on point. Cobble hill is categorically one of the best restaurants in Iowa and arguably one of the best in the Midwest. The interplay between spices and the play of texture was unmatched. The service was unbelievably amazing. A++

I absolutely loved the charcuterie and enjoyed the pork shoulder. The staff were very kind and attentive. I definitely recommend this place. I also recommend that you get reservations.

Cobble Hill: A Cozy Culinary Gem Worthy of Acclaim Cobble Hill offers a truly delightful dining experience, particularly for those seeking a warm and inviting atmosphere. From the moment you step inside, the cozy ambiance envelops you, making it the perfect spot for a special occasion or a relaxing evening out. The inviting chef's counter adds an intriguing element, allowing diners to witness the culinary magic firsthand. During my visit, I had the pleasure of indulging in the Parisian Gnocchi with lamb. Let me tell you, it was an absolute revelation. The lamb was so tender it practically melted in my mouth, a testament to the chef's skill and attention to detail. The gnocchi, light and pillowy, provided a perfect counterpoint to the rich, savory lamb. Each bite was an explosion of flavor, a harmonious blend of textures and tastes. The lamb leg, cooked to perfection, was equally impressive – flavorful, tender, and simply divine. The service at Cobble Hill was equally impressive. Our server was friendly, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, offering helpful recommendations and answering our questions with enthusiasm. Their passion for the food clearly shone through, enhancing the overall dining experience. While I can only speak to the dishes I tried, the quality of the Parisian Gnocchi and lamb suggests that the rest of the menu is equally inspired. Cobble Hill clearly prioritizes quality ingredients and expert preparation, creating dishes that are both comforting and sophisticated. It's easy to see why Cobble Hill is a James Beard Award semifinalist. I highly recommend Cobble Hill to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. The cozy atmosphere, exceptional food, and friendly, knowledgeable service make it a true culinary gem.

Google
First time trying this restaurant. Menu always features unusual food choices that are not on a typical restaurant menu. i.e. Duck, Ratatouille, Venison not my idea of a great meal. However, we decided to try out the dessert menu because that's usually a safe choice. I was pleasantly surprised at the Gelato option. I tried a lemon balm infused with something.... Gelato was creamy but the flavor was so light it was hard to say it was lemony! Warm Cinnamon sugar dusted donuts filled with chocolate cream were served with pot de creme - chocolate cream topped with whipped soy milk. Interesting .

Yelp
Back again. Dinner and a show. So sorry about that. I did not finish the review from the last time we're here. Came in to Cobell Hill again because it's our number one choice in Cedar rapids. I'll try to get a few pictures of the meal this time but if you haven't been here you should certainly try it out you won't be disappointed. Regarding the Bar today, Steve and Seth were doing their magic. Service is always outstanding. The ambience you can't do any better than Cobble hill. Ambience here is outstanding as Peggy point out to me she loves the brick walls are something to die for. But at the end of the day, the team is what makes Cobble Hill my number one choice in Cedar Rapids Whoops, I said that twice. If you haven't been here. You definitely need to put this on your punch list. Plan on spending at least two hours. Try to avoid it on Paramount nights. Carrie and Andy will do and a great job of making you feel at home.

Yelp
I was visiting a friend and she treated us to a special dinner out here. She and I split a bottle of their fancy non-alcoholic sparkling tea. The hibiscus and blackberry notes paired with the light effervescence were lovely. We were a table of four, allowing us to share several dishes. The glazed carrots were excellent. The scallop crudo was perfectly prepared. Usually, I really enjoy gemelli and beets. Unfortunately, this dish did nothing for me, though it was visually striking. The pork belly with braised cabbage was an excellent choice. The bibimbap with compressed Asian Pear was incredibly complex and so delicious. Unfortunately, the tortellini was not portioned for us to share easily. The chocolate dessert was outstanding, but the Earl Grey tea ice cream was transcendent! The space is lovely and never got too loud, even though they were quite busy. Sadly, they were hosting a larger group that evening. That seemed to negatively impact our service. We waited for long periods several times throughout the meal: between seating and ordering, after ordering and receiving any food, after our main course and being asked if we would like dessert. This poor service definitely detracted from my experience at the restaurant.

Yelp
What can I say, I'm visiting from California and I consider myself a foodie, and this place knocks it out the park. Definitely giving California restaurants a run for their money. I would consider this place New American with a touch of gastronomy; for example the olive oil cake with Meyers lemon was so moist it was more like a mousse, but you could tell it was cake just to give an example, that's the gastronomy side. The oysters, my wife's first time having them, loved it. The West Coast tasted just like the ocean where we live, the East Coast were sweet and fruity. No complaints at all with the food. Now our server Dion was on point engaging conversation with us answering all our questions, breaking down what was going to be served. Top notch in all. I dropped $210 ( tip included) on dinner and the way I rate restaurants, does the food justify the price, all I can say is I underpaid for the quality of food and creativity of how good it was. I could have paid more and it still would have been worth it. you won't be disappointed coming here. The ambiance is amazing, music is not too loud, nobody's being foolish with drinks, everybody's just having a good dinner, good conversation, and a really good time. The staff is amazing. seriously, Cobble Hill could be a standard for many restaurants to succeed, and the plating artistic. Everything was amazing, no complaints, it was an experience, not just a sit down and eating restaurant. It was a wonderful, great experience. Thank you so much for making our dinner amazing.

Yelp
Phenomenal service and ambiance! I loved all of the dishes but for the price I did feel like the proportions or number of courses could have been grander. It was also 2 of my best friends birthday and they could have done something extra for the special occasion to stand out. But overall for lowa this was a great experience ! The tasting menu and wine pairing were so good!

Yelp
Fantastic service, great food, phenomenal local sourcing combine to make a great night out. We had one night without kids and stumbled upon this stellar restaurant. We had the fish and pork belly, both were cooked perfectly with wonderful sauces. I can't say enough about how their sauces elevate the food! This is worth a journey to visit.

Yelp
Came here with our friends and were absolutely blown away by their food and drinks! Hands down, one of the best meals we've had in the state since moving to Iowa. We were staying in Iowa City for the weekend and were thrilled to try Cobble Hill. We ordered their Charcuterie, sourdough, Carpaccio, and Crudo to share and everything was delicious. I got the Pork and hubby got the Artic Char and both were very tasty -- especially the pork! We usually get steak entrees but we were so glad we tried these ones as they were cooked so well and with such unique flavors. Our cocktails were also very well balanced and refreshing. Dessert was also very good -- we got the 100 Layer Apple Cake and the Black Forrest Cake, loved both. I think if I would choose between the two, I'd go for the Black Forrest. The vibe is very cozy and romantic in here. And our server, Tyson did a phenomenal job. She made our night very memorable and we enjoyed dining with Cobble Hill and will definitely be back soon.

Yelp
For supposedly being one of the better restaurants in CR, it was A huge let down! First and foremost, the service was abysmal! The server greeted me, gave a short run down and took my order. After that, had to flag the hostess for a drink, others for more water, and yet another person for the inedible dish served. Server came back to drop check off. The food, while seeming interesting, misses hugely. One dish was so salty it was inedible. The odd thing is that, at best, there should only be a flake or two of salt on each portion on the plate. The main dish was somewhat of a redemption-the meat was cooked nicely. However, there was minimal/lackluster flavor considering all that was on it...and oddly it was missing salt! It also was a pretty bare dish with just the meat, a couple of radishes and a small "cake". Anyways, overall it was below average and really sad the level of service. One and Done!

Yelp
Farm to table, flown in seafood, solid teamwork in the kitchen from the view at the chefs counter. Recipes were solid, flavors enjoyable. Presentations were first rate. I started with a grilled shrimo appetizer which had a great combo of flavors including a house made xo sauce and spiced peanut mixture. Moving on to a second course of rice noodles with lamb, the spiced peanuts were part of the flavors again, and actually id say they were a even better match against the savory lamb flavors, but it might have been nice for it not to have felt like the reuse of the ingredients. I enjoyed the halibut over bouillabaisse it had an excellent broth and level of seasoning with nicely seared portion of fish. Strawberry compote under panna cotta with poached rhubarb was very nice. Wines by the glass were very reasonably priced, and staff was knowledgeable, overall best meal I had visiting cedar rapids. Total cost of $150 before gratuity for one person. I was starving and ate more than a normal person would so for a typical date night two top- Id say $100/ person would do it for a great experience without skipping anything.

Yelp
This place has beautiful decor and a coat check at the door! The bar is inviting as well as the seating. The food is all farm to table so the menu changes depending on when you go. We got a seasonal butternut squash soup. This soup was packed with spices and very memorable. We both enjoyed our meals and finished with a delicious dessert. I'd highly recommend this restaurant.

Yelp
Cobble Hill genuinely reminds me of Brooklyn and its better restaurants. We brought our pup so were the only ones sat outside on a Tuesday, but we were never lacking for attention from our wonderful server. Though the vibes inside look impeccable so don't miss out if you're dogless. The food is the real standout. We had a savory Dutch baby with nduja and enough herbs to herald the end of summer, fantastic. A finely seared and perfectly cooked halibut with plenty of basil and super creamy cannellini beans. Angolotti with corn and ricotta and some hunks of roasted corn (welcome to Iowa we were told) that could genuinely be called al dente. The Thai Tea tart was on the sweet side but it's hard to fault dessert for that. As for drinks, there's a good variety of wine at reasonable price points. Something for basically every pallet and a few interesting choices. The cocktail program overall looks great but I can only speak to one of their classics: we split an old man and the sea that was a fantastic after dinner sipper. Mezcal, scotch and Benedictine? Sign me up.

Yelp
My life partner brought me to Cobble Hill for my 70th birthday. Having told them advance that we were celebrating my birthday, as soon as we told them our names we were greeted with an enthusiastic "Happy Birthday ". We arrived early to enjoy a cocktail before dinner and the bartenders were delighted to prepare my favorite martini even though it wasn't on the menu. It was fabulous. The food was delicious and prepared perfectly. After dinner we ordered the chocolate and cinnamon soufflé! The service, ambience, and food were outstanding, reminding me of exquisite restaurants in New York and Chicago. In addition, the food is exceptionally well priced given the high quality of the ingredients used, unique preparations, and artistic presentation. "Bravo", Cobble Hill! We will be back!

Yelp
Such a cute place. Not a huge setting but ample seating for an upscale restaurant. The prices are higher, but not out of order for the quality of food you are getting. The wait staff are so nice an accommodating. The are knowledgeable and give great suggestions. My boyfriend commented on how much he enjoyed watch them making the drinks at the bar. Very artistic. Parking is always a challenge in this area, but definitely worth the hassle. If you need an upscale restaurant for a special occasion, this is a home run without a doubt.

Yelp
We recently went to Cobble Hill to celebrate my birthday and our anniversary. It did NOT disappoint! In fact, it was the best meal I have had in years. There just isnt t anything in the area that comes even close. The ambience is perfect and the wait staff excellent (thank you Tyson)!! I can't wait to go back!

Yelp
Amazing food, drinks, and service! Make sure to get reservations for a special date night as it fills up quickly. Love this place!

Yelp
I really struggled in putting this together. Here's the rundown: -ambience is great. Super cute interior - exposed brick, plants, great lighting and loved the antique dishware. -farm to table is pretty much always a winning concept but the food was hit and miss. I ordered the ricotta gnudi and it was too salty.charcuterie board didn't have much to offer. Parisian gnocchi was my favorite! - service started strong but at the end we were kind of ignored -cocktails - amazing! I would lean towards coming in for a drink and appetizers to enjoy the setting.

Yelp
Two days later and I'm still thinking about the chicken I enjoyed at Cobble Hill. It was amazing! Locally sourced chicken thigh stuffed with chicken sausage. Surrounded by mushrooms and olives with seeded encrusted sweet potatoes. Perfection on a plate. My only regret was that I was dining alone so I didn't get to try anything else. The chef's counter was a perfect place to sit as I had a bird's eye view of the kitchen. Kitchen staff, as well as wait staff, took great care of me throughout the evening. Even the hostess came over to check in on me. The beverage menu is great as well with a good selection of cocktails and wines all at a solid price point. I will definitely return to Cobble Hill on my next trip to Cedar Rapids.

Yelp
We had an exceptional meal here at Cobble Hill. I have to admit, I wasn't expecting it to be as good as it was. We were here on business and looking for something different and not a chain. Actually, it seems this is a popular place for business dinners as we saw others conducting meetings over dinner here. Even during the middle of the week, they were busy, and it's easy to see why. They took the time to explain their farm to table concept. Everything is house made, locally sourced, crafted to delight the eyes as well as the taste buds. They have a great reasonably priced happy hour special. Their menu changes seasonally and during this visit I tried their swordfish entree. It's been almost a week now and I'm still thinking about that entree. Flavorful and delicious, the swordfish wasn't even fishy at all if that makes any sense. We had the house made gnocchi app as well and I couldn't get enough of it. Airy and flavorful. I can't think of how this meal could've been any better. Truly a 5 star experience.

Yelp
Cobble Hill exceeded my expectations. It was my first time in Cedar Rapids and it certainly won't be the last. Food was amazing as well as the ambiance and service. Everything was exquisite .

Yelp
Service was top tier, everyone was so attentive. We split the oysters, potato latke, Niman ranch flat iron and the duck special. All were amazing and brought out in a timely manner. Inside was perfectly decorated for Christmas, I can't wait to come back!

Yelp
Cobble hill is just a can't miss. It's best restaurant in Cedar Rapids, no questions asked. Best food, service, and vibes you'll get in an hour radius. Make sure to make reservations!

Yelp
This one hands down one of the best meals I have ever had! From start to finish every single plate and bite was perfect. The dishes were spread out enough that you never felt bombarded with food or rushed. The service was excellent as each member of the team was extremely knowledgeable of the dishes and super helpful. This place is perfect for a business dinner or an evening date night. I will 100% be coming back here once I'm in town.

Yelp
This place is phenomenal! I live in Austin but I visit family once per year in Cedar Rapids and ever since my first Cobble Hill visit, it's become a tradition. Their menu is different every time but I've never gone wrong. This past visit I got the duck and was impressed with the creativity and flavors of the dish. They also have a great bar with fabulous cocktails at a good price, and a solid wine list. My favorite cocktail is the blackenrye smash. The service has always been great too. I'm always excited to come back here!

Yelp
Lovely ambiance, good service, and great food. It seems their menu always changes with farm-to-table, so you can look forward to something different every visit. Appetizers we tried were duck confit gnocchi, fried sunchokes, and beef tartar. For our mains, I had a monkfish remoulade with swiss chard, mussels, and seaweed salad. Hubby had flat iron steak with mushrooms, mashed potatoes, and chargrilled green and red onions-both were very good. My Father-in-law had winter squash ravioli. Great presentation, but modest portions. You will need appetizers and dessert if you want to leave feeling full. For dessert, we ordered rosemary cake with a hazelnut frosting and smoked mollases gelato and merengue chips, chocolate tres leches with coconut panna cotta, and a cinnamon vanilla rice pudding with fresh blueberries as well as blueberry "egg yolks" that reminded me of gastronomy dishes by Jose Andres. Very fun. They have a social (happy) hour until 6:30 with slightly discounted beers, 2 wine choices, and well drinks. I would come back here next time I'm in town.

Yelp
This a Is an awesome place in Cedar Rapids. Located downtown. I reserved a table at around 8pm - earliest they had as a reserved it the same day. The food was very good and it had some awesome items on the menu. We started with the charcuterie board - not super impressed as they need to add more cheese options. That also had kimchi on it and not a big fan....after I ordered the Amish chicken and my friend ordered the pork chop, for dessert we did ice cream and rhubarb. Both of them was awesome. I will definitely go back. The staff and the atmosphere was also great. A big plus was that it was decently priced as well. Can't wait to try other menu items. My new go to in Cedar rapids.

Kimberli M.

Yelp
Hospitality at it's finest, great ambiance, inspired cuisine that focused on fresh and local. Top notch!

Fangxing W.

Yelp
A wonderful atmosphere and great environment, with Patrick providing excellent service that made us feel very welcome. However, the morning after dinner, my friends and I all experienced varying degrees of diarrhea. This was the last meal we had before the symptoms began, so we have to suspect it might be food poisoning.
google avatar

Melissa L.

Yelp
This is a foodie paradise. Dinner was an experience. Our server was very theatric (in the best way), leading us to feel that we had been swept away for the evening. Everything is served in season. The pumpkin and sage soup with a chili foam and cacao nibs was absolutely delightful and unique. I've never had anything like it, and I've craved it multiple times since trying it. Charcuterie plate features all local ingredients. The roasted chicken dish is tender and delicious. Absolutely falls off the bones. Desserts are also super unique- have tried a few and they never let me down including a homemade kit kat dish, a deconstructed angel food cake, as well as a mango mousse dish that was incredible. They offer delicious pairings with cocktails and wines. In fact, if you tell the bartender what you like they can pretty much make you anything. Don't hesitate to go try this gem! I usually don't leave the IC area to eat out, but this place has me coming back over and over for date nights.

Yelp
In-laws took the family here for dinner recently in Cedar Rapids. It's in the downtown area so parking can be a bit tricky. The ambience is very stylish and upbeat. We were lucky enough to sit at the front since the level of noise toward the back looked and sounded fun, like everyone was having a great time - but it wouldn't have been conducive to conversation with anyone wearing hearing aides (which some of us were). Service was friendly and efficient. Never had a dry water glass (and the place was jammed busy, staff was hustling, but in an "I've got this way") The seasonal gazpacho appetizer was insanely perfectly delicious; the acid/freshness/flavor was impeccable. Two diners ordered a halibut entree that was clearly cooked to perfection, and both those diners said: OMG good! I had a duck farro that was very rich, in the right way, delicious but filling. The farro was cooked to a perfect al dente. Ordered gelato, sorbet, and macarons as shared portions, everything looked beautiful and tasted wonderful. We finished off with house limoncello that was fresh rather than creamy - great way to end. Definitely need reservations for this popular spot. Some very pleasant but limited outdoor seating was also available.

Alan H.

Yelp
We were greeted at the door immediately and received a warm welcome while being escorted to our table. Two servers were by soon to acquaint us with the menu and take our drink orders. The extra dry Plymouth martinis were spot on. We started with the Parisian Gnocchi and were stunned with the rich and complex flavors. These are chefs who really know how to create something special. We complimented the dish to our server and noted that the dish and the ambiance reminded us a lot of dining in New Orleans. That started an interesting conversation since he had spent two years in New Orleans and thought Cobble Hill was the closest thing to the fine dining there. Our entrees were both the halibut and it was amazing. The fish was fresh and the accompanying sauce and greens were incredibly bright and complex. Dessert was the chocolate soufflé, quite nice. We arrived early on a Thursday with reservations and the place was full before we left. Cobble Hill is definitely popular for a good reason.

Yelp
Nate is outstanding. Best Manhattan in Iowa. Food is phenomenal. Hanger steak was incredible.

Yelp
My wife and I booked a reservation here for our 20th anniversary. We had never been here before and had our expectations stoked. We were not disappointed. This is a lovely spot in a narrow but deep location with high ceilings and the history of the building being exposed in just the right ways to make for a wonderful mix of old and new decor on warm and rich side over the new and shiny side of things. They had a hand written card on our table when we arrived wishing us a happy anniversary which was a nice touch. We immediately felt welcome. We found interesting options to explore on the menu and our culinary expectations were exceeded with every dish. We each picked by our personal preferences but also shared each other dishes so as to gain as much experience with their menu as possible in a single visit. This will definitely be on the top of our list for special occasions and perhaps on some less-special occasions as well. ;-)

Yelp
After wandering around at the Farmers market at night I literally stumbled across this cute little cobble stone building and went in to see a menu! The food was excellent, drinks as well. Great place to celebrate an anniversary or something special.

Johnny O’s G.

Yelp
The ambience is great and rivals in New York or Boston restaurant. The food is unique almost to unique. Every dish has an extra extra twist to it and it's a little overwhelming.

Yelp
The food here is FABULOUS. The service was GREAT. Cocktails were OUTSTANDING. What more could anybody ask for? A little less expensive? SURE! Is that gonna happen? Not very likely... We had a larger group (like 10) and they worked us in, even if it was on the patio. We all enjoyed the experience VERY much! GREAT place!!! I would've labeled the pictures, but it's been 2 weeks, with MUCH food in between, and I can't find a menu online, so...
google avatar

Kelsey A.

Yelp
This place has some of the best cocktails I've ever had. The corn drink is incredible- it's a perfect balance of sweetness, spice, and interesting flavors. The smoky old fashioned is also great. Bonus: they provide cocktails for pick up that you can get before guests come!

Shadi H.

Yelp
The most amazing hidden gem found in Iowa! I had the pleasure of dining here while traveling through Iowa on my move to actual Cobble Hill Brooklyn Ny! The food was spectacular, the best butternut squash soup I ever had! The chicken was so divine and I the ambiance makes you feel like you are in Brooklyn NY. The best dining experience and the owner are so kind, I had the pleasure of chatting with them and I would def recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting a fantastic experience!

Yelp
Stopped in to the Cobble Hill Restaurant the other night for dinner. Their menu is great - this is a place for foodies for sure. If/when I get back to Cedar Rapids, I'll make it a point to return. It was a slow night, so service was fast & friendly. Easy to get to and pretty much in the middle of downtown.

Yelp
Good food, only surpassed by the great staff. I love the Midwest for it's hospitality and Cobble Hill does not disappoint. Thank you and keep it up!

Kit K.

Yelp
My husband and I have loved Cobble Hill for a long, long time. We reached out to Andy and Carrie to see if we could have our wedding reception there and were humbled and so excited when they agreed! Oh. My. Gosh. It was better, more beautiful, magical, delicious, amazing (and so much more) than we could have ever imagined. Carrie, Claire, Andy, and Jordy were very thorough and intentional when it came to every detail of the evening. The food, ambiance, hospitality, attention to details and guests... it was all just incredible. We had several dietary restrictions, and they were incredibly accommodating and couple of young picky eaters that they whipped something up for in a flash ;) - above and beyond. I could go on and on about all of the amazing things from that night and our experiences at Cobble Hill... Cobble Hill is a true gem of Cedar Rapids, and we cannot recommend it enough! We love you!

Yelp
Came here for dinner with a colleague to enjoy their Japanese themed menu. Firstly , the decor is very nice and speakeasy like with great personal service . We ordered some appetizers : skewers of duck, gizzard and squid along with the pancake - both were delicious . For mains I ordered the wings ton soup while he experienced the flatiron steak ( he even had dessert too ). The wine abs cocktails were stellar as well Top notch venue to experience If you visit Cedar Rapids

Yelp
We went to Cobble Hill Restaurant to celebrate eleven years of marriage. Cobble Hill would have gotten five stars if my other half was not freezing during dinner. At a place like this the atmosphere has to be perfect to go along with the food. She did bring a long sleeve pullover. That she used but was still cold. The woman next to our table was in a dress and kept her arms wrapped around herself so we were not the only ones to notice the temperature. The appetizers were good. The main entree was something new and different for each of us and left us wanting more. We would go back for the food but we would want it to be a warmer day were we could sit outside on the patio.

Amanda R.

Yelp
Our favorite restaurant! Wonderful food, great, friendly service! You can tell that the staff enjoy working there and care about what they do. Never had a bad meal.
google avatar

Jack B.

Yelp
Great atmosphere and definitely a well thought out and prepared menu/meals... They also have a higher end drink selection. Pricing was high for Cedar Rapids. If I were in Chicago or Minneapolis then maybe, but just can't justify it for Cedar Rapids. It's definitely worth a try as it separates itself from the local meat and potatoes bar food offerings that is Cedar Rapids food scene.

Yelp
The wait team clearly stated the restaurant's mission when we were seated. They were friendly and attentive throughout the meal. The craft cocktails we had, a gimlet and an old fashioned were uniquely flavored but true to tradition. Our meal was served a few minutes after we had finished our cocktail, always a good sign of quality service. Our orders were professionally plated, colorful, textural and very flavorful. We shared a dessert which was just the right amount for us. In short, the team lived up to its mission in a modest understated way. This is a gem of a restaurant in Cedar Rapids.

Yelp
A true gem within Cedar Rapids. Highly recommend the kitchen tables. All the food was amazing and the best old fashioned I've ever tasted. Can't recommend this place enough. Wait staff and chefs were friendly. Not much more you can ask for.
