This is a small cafe that is in the downtown area of Dover. It isn't a large place, but it is cozy and well run by one person. She offered a select menu, but there was options for breakfast and lunch.
I came here with coworkers after a work test at a potential customer. One had the egg salad, one went with breakfast, and I had the grilled ham and cheese with tomato soup.
There are PLENTY of drink options here, which was awesome. Rarely do I get to see diet snapple in a smaller individually owned cafe so I was very excited and took one for the meal, and one to go.
The food was good, she is a one woman operation so I was impressed by her ability to get stuff going relatively quickly. My sandwich was homemade, tasty, and I put that down quickly. The soup was Campbells, not knocking her for that since I do enjoy their tomato soup. The portion of the soup was HUGE! I was happy with that.
If you want to support an individually owned business, this is the place to go for breakfast. Plenty of public parking for free around the town square for up to two hours- and I would say that there is limited seating (3 tables max) for if you want to eat in. This is perfect if you want a quick take out and call ahead!
I will be back when I am in town next. I love to support locally small owned businesses and I hope this one makes it through COVID.
