This was my third visit to this Farmers Market, and let me say, I have been to a few other Farmers Markets, but the variety of vendors is top notch, there are not to many vendors all selling the same thing, which is nice and allows you to support multiple businesses, as well as getting a variety of products. This time at the Farmers Market, I utilized a service I have never seen at a farmers’ market: a professional knife sharpener. This is a massive benefit to me and others who come to the market, and what a genius idea! Those who attend farmers' markets are most certainly cooking at home, so knife sharpening is essential for the home cook who has quality knives. This time, I also picked up some fresh bagels, which my partner enjoyed more than the store-bought ones. They were a bit pricy at $10 for only 4, but they were hearty and hefty bagels, as my picture shows. This market also offers a wide variety of meat from several different farms, as shown in my picture. One establishment just about has all the cuts from an animal you could want. There were vendors selling plants for your garden or home, and one vendor was selling mushroom tinctures and extracts. I purchased one of those for myself. Coffee, fruits, veggies, homemade bread, desserts, and many other things are on offer at this lovely farmers market. Now that the weather is nice again, I plan to be here weekly to check out what the farmers have on offer!

Google
A beautiful day to go to the Cobblestone Farmers Market. Finding a parking spot was a challenge. There were a nice variety of vendors. There was a line to Miss Angels Farm get peaches and other fruit/produce and we were happy to wait! We stopped at Lil Sarah's Bee Farm. I love their honey! We stopped at Tea and Toast. I got the Lavender Creme Earl Gray Latte. It was DELICIOUS! We also stopped at Eigen Chocolate. We got to try a few samples. YUM I got Maple Pecan Chocolate and Hazelnut Gianjua. Looking forward to going back!

Google
The market itself is small, but the selection is not. Beautiful seasonal fruits, veggies, mushrooms, and flowers. Baked goods, soaps, pickles, terrariums, all sorts of things. I love a good market and this one is quality for it's size.

Google
Delightfully charming atmosphere and a wonderful way to start your day. If you're looking for fresh produce and baked goods, this is the place.

Wonderful selection of fresh vegetables. Lots of plants too. Grass fed beef and pasture raised pork. Everything you need!

Google
Average size. Numerous ag vendors. Prices are reasonable. Park across the street. A really good vibe. A very good display of vegetables.

Google
This has become one of our favorite weekend activities. The number and variety of vendors is comparable to large-scale and permanent farmers markets. But what Cobblestone does far better is promote every one of their vendors on their Factbook, which helps when you want to go back and find contact info for products and vendors you enjoyed.

Yelp
We are frequenters of the Cobblestone Farmers Market every Saturday. It's my favorite weekend activity. Although we have many favorites I feel that I need to highlight a few of our favorites. Wirehaired Booch- my current favorite kombucha is the orange cranberry clove. It's simple yet zesty. Piemonte Provisions- fresh mozzarella and spicy or traditional pimento cheese Nicki's Pickles- super sour dill spears are my go to but honestly anything they have is delicious Camino- southern sourdough is perfect for sandwiches or avocado toast, pumpkin bread(duh) and their dirty oat milk chia tea latte is always a hit.

Yelp
Great little farmers market with a family atmosphere. We come every Saturday for kombucha, veggies, and mozzarella from Piemonte Provisions. Today we got some awesome rainbow cookies from chippeekiyay

Yelp
I'm.a frequent customer to Cobblestone because it's simply the best. My main stops are elderflour, tea and toast or chads chai, eigan chocolate, kuya bear, heritage farms, and harmony farms. You can't go wrong at cobblestone and you just have to make sure you get all the treats.

Yelp
Went for a Friday night block party. Overall good vibe, we just went too late, make sure to go before sunset so you can read the food truck menus and shop the clothing market. Dark area made it hard to cross the road back to parking. There were a few picnic tables but people that were not eating had filled all the seating, just sat there rudely as we stood trying to balance drinks & food. DJ SK had some good beats playing but that was basically the only reason worth going. We had empanadas that were iffy, will not order from the Nada Mas food truck again.

Yelp
Love coming here on Saturdays, and the summer Wednesday market is nice too! I wish it were pet friendly though. Great selection of vendors, produce, food trucks, music etc. And everyone is so friendly, I always have a great time. It's nice to grab a coffee and sit and read with the music playing in the background.

Yelp
One of my favorite Saturday stops. The vendors are all local and amazing!! So much talent - in one parking lot. One day is not enough to make sure you purchase all your local produce, baked goods, tea, soup, flowers and so much more. I love meeting my friends here!! The best farmers market in the triad!

Yelp
I have been visiting the Cobblestone Farmers Market off and on for a few years now when visiting friends in the area. You will find vendors from all over offering a variety of veggies, regional honey flavors, local coffee, pickled items, and baked goods. You will also find art vendors, local beers, and a wide assortment of other things each and every time you visit. There's also plenty of food to sample and it's just an awesome place to visit early in the day before it gets hot. It's not hard to find, they're located in Old Salem. Get out of the house on a Saturday morning and check it out.

Yelp
I absolutely love Cobblestone Farmer's Market! I have gone almost every Saturday for the past year, and I have recommended it to countless friends and neighbors! It's a year-round outdoor market every Saturday. There is a ton of local vendors to choose from, and there really is something for everyone. There's tons of locally made and grown products, including fruits, veggies, bath products, meats, pottery, eggs, dairy products, coffee, baked goods, grains, food trucks, kombucha, and more! The vendors are so friendly, and it's much more personable than shopping at the grocery store! There's typically live music, picnic tables to sit at, and even fire pits in the colder months. We like to go early to beat the crowds, as vendors can sometimes sell out of things. You can also drop off compost here, and they accept SNAP/EBT.

Yelp
Nice farmers market albeit perhaps a bit small and cramped. I do find parking to be a bit of a pain too there sometimes, so get there early. Mostly nice local selections here of produce, meats, honey, baked goods and some handmade goods as well (candles, etc.). Worth checking out if you haven't already.

Yelp
I was able to go to the market for the first time last week. I got there a little after they opened, roughly 8:40 AM, and found that the vendors were set up, and there was not much of a crowd. I did however notice more folks coming as I was leaving, which was about 9:15 AM. Overall, I had a pretty great experience. I appreciate the variety of vendors that were at the market. It was really nice to be able to grab a cup of coffee before I made my way around the market. I did feel as if the vendors had fair pricing on their items. I am looking forward to making the market part of my weekly routine. I believe this is a great way to get the family out and about before fully diving into the weekend. This market allows for folks to build relationships with local growers and makers, as well as support the local economy. There is a drive-up option for folks who would like to utilize it.

Yelp
I have been coming to The Cobblestone Farmers Market for a few years now. I love the location which is right in Old Salem. Several regional vendors offering produce and meats. Even local coffee and bakeries represented. Highlights - Decent selection of vendors - Local / regional produce, eggs and meats - Most, if not all, take plastic and of course cash - Dog and kid friendly - Only open Saturdays 9-12 - Overflow parking across the street I normally stock up on heirloom tomatoes, okra and any other vegetable I can't grow myself. Also love the vendors selling pork sausage, pork belly, and pork chops. Yeah, I am a pork man. Be warned, the prices are higher than what you would find at most farmers markets. They do hold their vendors to higher standards than most which may have something to do with it.

Yelp
Amazing farmers market full of fresh finds! Everyone was so friendly, prices were decent and they even offer drive through pick up right now during Covid.

Yelp
The stars are for the farmers and their yummy produce. But if there is a thumbs down available it is going directly to the organization. Having to wear masks in open space is just flat out ..... Fill in the blank. The new location is now 1001 S Marshall and all stands are more then 6 feet apart. They have people walking around "encouraging" customers to wear mask in an OPEN space!!!!!!! People be real!!! Not coming there any longer!!! I'm done with this nonsense and ridiculousness of this organization

Yelp
Absolutely love this place. All of the vendors were great. Soooooo many selections of amazing produce, meats, pastries, and juices. Of everything I bought there may have been 1 item o would not return to. Next year I will block out more time on Saturday to sit and relax to take in the music.

Yelp
My second visit to Cobblestone was this morning. We didn't make it out as early this afternoon so we had to park across the street but the walk over was short. There was a bit of a crowd but since it's so open it's easy to navigate. Cobblestone is definitely very dog friendly. There were lots out this morning. I would have to say that I found even more things this time, than my previous visit. I was very pleased. Part of the market is shaded so you can grab a coffee and a pastry from Camino Bakery's stand and enjoy the music, or just people watch. If you are looking for fruit, you are not going to find much here though. I think I only saw blueberries and black berries. If you're looking for lots of fruit, I would suggest the Piedmont Triad Farmer's Market in Colfax. I'm typically on the lookout for veggies, beyond the standard fare of just tomatoes, squash, zucchini, and cucumbers, that most smaller markets usually are only limited to. So I'm personally able to find everything that I'm looking for and then some. There are also quite a few vendors selling fresh herbs, baked goods, and cheeses. Go early to beat the heat, the crowds, and to get a good parking spot.

Yelp
I had like ridiculously high hopes for this farmers mark, since I feel like everyone talks about it!! It was a great market, but I guess I was expecting a few more vendors. I will say they had a decent variety. However in late June I was expecting to see some tomatoes and peaches. Maybe it is too early? I'm not sure! I am a sucker for small batch almond milk so I was happy to see Village Juice here. They did not disappoint, yum! However they don't sample their milks and I wish they did. I was able to pick up some fresh eggs, sample some tasty goat cheese, buy some chorizo, as well as bring home some black raspberries (which I had never had before). I bought a cucumber but unfortunately it was so bitter I couldn't eat it. Atelier on Trade makes the most kick-ass croissants so if you are at the market be sure to grab one of those and grab an iced tea from Chad at the stall next door. Quite a few of the vendors, I would say about 90% accepted credit cards which is a plus if you forgot to grab cash before you went. It was super easy to find parking in Old Salem which isn't always the case with some other local markets. So that is a big plus in my book. I am curious to try out their Wednesday market at Mary's to see how it compares.

Yelp
The place seemed very trendy and hipsterish, it's more of a high end farmers market. Lots of local meat and veg I was impressed by the flowers! Local places mostly that you c an visit anywhere, but it was cool to see them all in one place.

Yelp
Although this farmers market was only founded in 2009 it is the best in the area. They truly make sure all of the vendors and products are local. They offer so much more than fresh produce. Krankies coffee is there with several options. I love to get the pour-over coffee for 2.50. It is a great deal and fun to watch. There are several local bakeries to buy breads and pastries. Every time I have been there was live music. The farmers are really friendly and love to answer questions about their products. You can buy several types of fresh meat and eggs. I love the fact it is in Old Salem. The prices are fair considering the freshness and quality of the products. I wish they were open all year long.

Yelp
Great experience. This was a neat and clean farmer market. Lots of people shopping. Will take the rest of the family on the next trip.

Yelp
Had a good time and very friendly people also bought several plants for my garden and they've grown perfectly would recommend to anyone who likes gardening and fresh food.

Yelp
We are frequent farmers market visitors and it was our first time at the cobblestone one... Wasn't very crowded which I loved - my only suggestion would be to have some food trucks around as well! We ended up getting bread and a phenomenal pastries from atelier bakery and we were more than pleasantly surprised! Overall it was a great place and we will be coming back over and over!
google avatar

Yelp
Who doesn't love Old Salem, right! Well Saturday mornings from spring to roughly fall, local growers can set up just outside the town square to push their fresh grown vegetables. You'll find a nice variety of goods at somewhat reasonable prices. It's a great place to kill a couple hours on Saturday mornings and people watch if nothing else!
google avatar

Emily H.

Yelp
Went here for the first time today! I loved the atmosphere and location. The vendors were all extremely nice and very willing to give out samples! Think I came during a weird time of the season because the produce wasn't exactly what I was looking for.... But I hope to be back over the next few weeks and get some great goodies!
google avatar

Erin M.

Yelp
My favorite farmers market in the area! Go early at the start of the season for the best variety. Always a good selection of LOCAL fruits, vegetables, meats, cheeses, eggs and baked goods. The farmers are friendly and welcome questions about the food and their farms.

Yelp
This is the farmers market. Amazing vendors with great produce, food and drinks. Every time I have been I have enjoyed the atmosphere and people. The location can't be beat. This is a must do in Winston-Salem.

Laura L.

Yelp
Wonderful place to take the family on a Saturday morning. Nice variety and they often have music playing over by the picnic area. A real treat!

Yelp
It's one thing to celebrate the chef who prepares your food, but, to know who made all the food on your plate and how they did it is special. You can purchase all the of fresh, wholesome food you want or need at the Cobblestone Farmers Market such as vegetables, meat (beef, pork, chicken) eggs, cheese, and baked goods. You can talk to the people who grow the food you eat. That make's this and other farmers' markets important. Oh, There are also cut flowers, soaps, chocolates, pickled foods, spices, and more...
