We came to Cobra with an open mind regardless of all of the mixed reviews we had received from friends and online. The overall ambiance at Cobra is nice with a classy set up, comfortable seats and stylish decor. However, the tables are extremely small (the ones for 2 people) and are packed together where you are essentially sitting on top of the people beside you. The squished tables also had servers running into us while trying to serve tables beside us. The narrow paths between tables even had servers accidentally kicking my seat or bumping into us the whole meal. Very uncomfortable. The service was definitely slow which was surprising considering there seemed to be so many staff members running around. However, a lot of the time they were having conversations with the customers they know and/or with each other. Additionally, I had a piece of plastic in my food and no apology or any attempt to reconcile it was made. At an establishment with this price point you should expect more diligence not only in the food preparation but also in the service. The cocktails were nice, and the food was actually very tasty, BUT not the level of quality for the price (The dessert was definitely the shining star). The menu itself is very seafood/fish forward, so if you are not into this, you are limited on the appetizers to only a few choices, however the mains are 50/50 meat and fish. Overall at this price point, we were quite disappointed by the quality of the experience so we would not recommend Cobra.

A wonderful restaurant in the heart of Antwerp. Book early! We ate outside (under the canopy) as the weather was wonderful. It felt like a very relaxed ‘tapas’ - but in truth it was much more. We were a vegetarian, a pescatarian and two ‘carnivores’. All of us delighted at the service and quality of this wonderful restaurant. My 100% favourite restaurant of 2025!!

I’d been wanting to try Cobra for a long time, and I was lucky to get a table for two by calling just the day before. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed — even my elderly dog was received with such kindness. The service was outstanding: our server was genuinely attentive, checking in just the right amount without ever being intrusive. The atmosphere was amazing, it was such a joy to look around and see everyone enjoying their dinner. I even ended up chatting with a lovely American girl in town for a wedding, and another kind guest came over just to greet my dog. Little moments like that made the evening feel extra special. The food was simply amazing! As a vegetarian, I wasn’t sure at first if there would be much for me, but I was pleasantly surprised. There were plenty of options, and what I had turned out to be one of the best meals I’ve enjoyed in a very long time. Thank you so much — I’ll definitely be coming back!

10 out of 10 for vibes. Super cool spot with a loyal clientele (of all ages). Monday night and the place was full and many people seemed to know each other as well as the staff - that always is a really good sign for me. The food was good but didn't blow me away. I had the eel appetizer and the turbot which was extremely tasty but bony which I find more challenging to eat than a fish thas been fileted.

Stylish, young crowd fill this fashionable and well designed restaurant. Staff are energised and friendly. Dishes are so delicious - recommend the aubergine and the amazing bread. I’d add a few more vegan/ vegetarian main courses otherwise a perfect place to spend a sunny evening in Antwerp. ✨

10/10 Incredible staff - they absolutely strike the perfect balance of a high level of professionalism without being pretentious. Very warm and welcoming with excellent quality of service. Welcoming spot for locals and visitors alike! The space is breathtaking. It feels modern, light, cozy, and upscale all at the same time. It had the friendly charm of a neighborhood restaurant, but looks like it could be in a world class art museum. Food and beverage quality were top notch. Favorite meal from a week in Antwerp - will return!
