A late-night Brewery District standout where the vibe is casual and the drinks are dialed in. Recognized by the Tales of the Cocktail Spirited Awards as a 2024 Best New U.S. Cocktail Bar finalist, it pairs playful, Asian-leaning cocktails with noodles.

Love this place. The parking situation isn't stressful. The atmosphere is cute, I love the outdoor patio seating. A great place to go with friends. I went with my girlfriend, and we ordered a variety of food to share - nothing was a disappointment!

Can’t say enough great things about the food at Cobra. Just can’t stop thinking about their noodles! Dan Dan Noodles, Mama Chien’s Dumplings, and Cobra Sunday Gravy are my favs so far. Fantastic drinks and great service to top it all off! Highly recommend.

Google
The food was delicious. Dan Dan noodles and Shanghai Burger were my favorite. The noodles were like a Thai peanut flavor and a little spicy. And the burger was juicy and had a bit of a sweet flavor. The atmosphere was dark and lively. A great spot to be out with friends. Good place to get drinks.

Cobra is a great spot for high quality food and drinks. It's got really cool and different atmosphere. It's on the hipster side so just be prepared. It has an upscale/retro feel that is one of a kind. Many try to outfit their bar restaurant that way but only Cobra executes the aesthietic. The food and cocktails make the place come together. I had the Ezzo brand pepperoni pizza dumplings. $9 for 5 and they were great. The sauce is exceptional. Their like the best pizza rolls you've ever had and then some! It is a great spot for dates on South High Street. There's a little photo booth inside at the back of the restaurant. Cobra is in a good location and catches the eye with their large retro looking sign. It is walking distance to other bars too. Thanks to everyone at Cobra!

Google
Great spot. Menu is small and has some items that are unrecognizable. Don’t let that turn you away. Got the dumpling app, which was in a sauce that was incredible. We both got the Dan Dan Noodles. Spicy dish, unique flavors, and simply amazing! We’d definitely order it again!

Google
Having heard about this place since before it opened the description of what they were trying to accomplish sounded alluring. Finally getting time to stop in the food did not disappoint. The garlic broccolini should be a signature appetizer, wow , I think I ordered it twice. Dumplings are a must, I got the pork filled - they have two options The Bologna Sandwich - initially hesitant, due to the jalapeno sauce as I do not like super spicy food, the excellent staff described it and decided to give it a try. The chef who came up with the toppings for the sandwich and jalapeno sauce needs to be recognized, nailed it 🚀 as well as the coloring and presentation Highly recommend this place ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Google
This place is hands down the best Asian noodles in Columbus! Atmosphere and staff were absolutely phenomenal and overall great experience! Cobrastyle!

Google
Food was good! Tasted high quality, though a bit pricey for pasta dishes. I loved the espresso martini with the wafer garnish. My friends got the gold tooth tiger drink and liked it as well. Nice variety of draft options and happy hour is a great deal until 7 pm! Gets super crowded around 6:30-7:30, so come sooner if you’re hoping for a table inside. We will definitely be back to check out some other food options and drinks, too! They have a parking lot that is free! The pickled cucumbers are divine.

Yelp
YE Gurl Eats: Cobra - Noodles, Beats & Vibes (But Please Sit Down) Cobra has always been that spot. High-vibe Asian fusion, deep DJ sets, and a dimly lit energy that makes you feel like you've stumbled into a Tokyo side street by way of the Short North. It used to be a bit of a secret--no longer. Word's out. We rolled in after the Colors of Summer event fizzled (no tea, no shade), and Cobra offered the pick-me-up we needed. Though can I just say--ladies, this isn't a music video audition. You can vibe without body rolling in the aisles while I'm just trying to enjoy my Dan Dan. Let's all agree to eat first, twerk later? Set-up: Walk-up counter, high tables near the bar. Casual but elevated. What We Ordered: Vegan Dan Dan ($16) - Malfaldini, Dan Dan Sauce, Tofu, Crushed Peanut, Scallion. Always a winner. Texture on point, flavors rich and layered. Fly's Head ($16) - Conchiglie, 5-Spice Tofu, Fermented Black Bean, Bird's Eye Chili. One of the best spicy dishes in the city, full stop. But take your time, that first bite will singe your soul if you're not careful. Shishito Skewer ($6) - Simple, smoky, and does what it needs to do. I paired it all with a Stiegl Raspberry Radler ($8)--a sweet, fruity pour that reminded me of Lindeman's Framboise Lambic, only more grown. Took me back to nights with reggae and plantains (we've all got our memory triggers). But for the full Cobra effect? Go for the big Tsingtao bottle--trust me. Now yes, I noticed the menu has changed a bit. Probably a mix of tariffs, cost of goods, and trying to balance fusion with affordability. Like... why is there sausage with my octopus? And still full-price for the skewer? The math ain't mathin', but I digress. I get it--this is a college town and the demand is different. But I do hope the next wave of diners has the taste to appreciate the depth this spot can bring when it leans in. Final word: Cobra still has the sauce. Just keep your feet on the ground, your chopsticks ready, and your dancing confined to your seat.

Yelp
This gastropub is a real gem. There are a lot of Asian fusion food items and Asian-themed drinks. Order your food and drinks at the bar as there is no table service.

Yelp
Met up with friends here specifically for happy hour on a Thursday. It's walk-in only and runs from 4 to 6 PM, which worked out perfectly for our group. You get seated first, then order at the bar. We tried the Yuzu Spritz ($7) with yuzu, prosecco, and soda. Super light and refreshing, liked it enough to get a second round. The Koji Popcorn Chicken ($8) was a total hit: juicy, crispy, and full of flavor with the lemon shiso aioli. We also grabbed the Seasoned Fries ($4), which came with the same aioli and were perfect for sharing. The vibes were great, with a fun, laid-back energy and a stylish space. They have their own parking lot and there was also plenty of street parking available. Would definitely come back, especially for happy hour again.

Yelp
I had heard a lot of great things about Cobra and when I made a visit back to Ohio I knew we needed to go. When you walk in you're greeting with menus and seating is first come first served. A generous amount of seating both indoors and on their patio. It was pretty crowded when we got there around 8pm on Friday but easily found seating. Food overall is good. I really enjoyed the vibe and ambiance of the interior. The food was Asian fusion. We got fries to share and the Dan Dan noodles and the chicken sandwich. Originally wanted the bulgogi chop cheese but it was all sold out. I was a little surprised with the chicken sandwich. It was just a touch too sweet for me but ultimately made sense because it was a honey soy garlic dip. Love the Photo Booth inside and generous amount of parking that I would recommend a visit.

Yelp
Awesome place! Can't wait to go back and try more menu items. Great and friendly service. Nice set up and cool vibes! Went on a Saturday about 430pm and were able to easily find a seat By the time we left... this place was hopping! I love that they are open late too with food available late. Check them out!

Yelp
I love the idea of an Asian infused burger and drinks. So many new flavors to the American cuisine. Nestled in Columbus' Brewery District, this place is a great find. Seating is first come first serve which worried me but we found a table in the bar area right away. You order by the cash register so no tables turn over quickly. Our entire table ordered burgers which were delicious and cooked perfectly. The Shanghai Noon burger had some heat but not too hot to make you sweat. I loved it. We shared some seasoned fries at our table and was enough food for 3 people. Great selection of cocktails for every pallet. Tried both Tequila specialty drinks and recommend both of them. Great pairing with the burger. Well worth a try if in Columbus.

Yelp
WOW just WOW. I I was so impressed by the food at Cobra when I went with some friends this past week. Cobra is the up-and-coming new bar/restaurant that you have to check out. I had been there once prior for just drinks and was amazed, but the food blew me away. For drinks, my favorite has been the XXX Sour and for $10 it is a steal. The drink has Sky Vodka, Passionfruit, Pandan, Lemon, Grapefruit, and Prosecco Rosè. It's so good and is secretly strong. For food, I got the Dan Dan Noodles with Malfadini, Dan Dan Sauce, Pork Ragu, Crushed Peanuts and Scallions. It was super good with a kick of spice. It was fantastic and I can't wait to try more dishes. I also tried the Ezzo Pizza Dumplings which were unique and tasty. Can't wait to bring my family here to try more dishes.

Yelp
Stopped in for dinner one night at cobra and it was ok. The bulgogi chopped cheese really lacked bulgogi flavor and was fairly small for $15 and did not come with a side. That's not to say the sandwich tasted it bad it just tasted like a regular chopped cheese/cheese steak. The cucumbers were pretty good definitely heavy on the vinegar taste. The loaded fries were probably the best thing we had for the night. The service was great all of the staff were really friendly and helpful in answering our questions. The restaurant is really dark so it can be a bit hard to see the menus.

Yelp
A close to midnight road trip stop! Overall interesting and very promising! Good chill vibes (old school game arcade-like). There's a photo booth in the back! Clear which items are the mainstays and which they are testing the grounds with. So execution isn't there for everything but solid enough to warrant visiting again. Open kitchen. Order and pay at the bar. Food and drinks are brought to you. Bar, indoor tables, and outdoor seating. The cherry on top of the ample seating? They have their own parking lot! Seasoned Fries ($6): Plate of Fries, Lemon Shiso Aioli Fried good so solid. Can skip though. Koji Popcorn Chicken ($11): Koji Brined Thigh, Chili, Lemon, Fried Herbs, Lemon Shiso Aioli Solid but the weakest of all the dishes ordered. Fried well but the batter was on the crunchier, tougher side. Meat was also slightly tough. Can skip. Off The Waldorf Salad ($12): Shredded Napa Cabbage, Miso Vinaigrette, Honey Crisp Apple, Pickled Red Grape Asian Pear, Cilantro, Crispy Shallot, Chili Oil, Black Sesame Not what we expected as it looked like coleslaw. Pickled red grapes tasted five spicey. Not bad but expected more of an explosion in flavor and texture from the combo of ingredients. Can skip unless utilizing as a palate cleanser. Our Fried Bologna Sandwich ($15): House-Made Vietnamese Sausage, American Cheese, Grilled Onions, Jalapeño Relish, Shaved Cabbage, Mayo, Mustard, French Bread Better than expected but quite heavy and mushy all around (French bread was really light and soft too). Benefitted from adding some Waldorf salad for much needed texture and refreshment. Can be improved. I imagine it's great paired with drinks. Dan Dan Noodles ($16): Malfadini, Dan Dan Sauce, Pork Ragu, Crushed Peanut, Scallion Among the favorites. Dan Dan sauce tasted more like shacha sauce with a hint of peanut butter. Texture of the pasta was fantastic. Get again and maybe try Cobra Sunday Gravy next time. Mama Chien's Dumplings ($12): Choice of Pork or Sweet Potato Filling, Mama Chien's Dumpling Sauce, Cilantro The favorite. The in-house made dumping skin, slippery and qq and the sauce! Venom-Free (non-alcoholic) drinks: Pool Float ($7): Mango Cordial, Lime, Serrano, Cilantro Fantastic. Delicious and refreshing! Like a green salsa. Must get! Little Hug ($7): Hibiscus, Guajillo, Cinnamon, Rose, Bergamot Not bad. Taste the cinnamon on the first sip but gone thereafter. Simpler than expected and mainly more like a cranberry juice. Can skip. Wen Shan Bao Zhong ($14): Sparkling Oolong Tea Wine Alternative Good! Tasted like a true sparkling oolong with apple cider vinegar vs Tea Dealers lackluster one. What I'd look for in a sparkling oolong. Would get again.

Yelp
Didn't realize the inside is super spacious and plenty of seating available. Their food offering is filled with nostalgic comfort food with a fusion take. I got the Pork Belly Skewer with Shrimp Sauce and the Spicy Shrimp Fusilli. Their dish in common have a nice mild spice kick to it. I especially like the Spicy Shrimp Fusilli. The pasta itself cooked just right and that sauce with fermented black bean, garlic and mix seafood. They also have a fun line up of cocktail and mocktail. I tried the Pool Float and it was fairly good.

Yelp
If you ever find yourself in the Columbus area, make sure you stop here. They're open late and the food is delicious! My family tried the Dan Dan Noodles, Drunken Noodles, Dumplings and Popcorn Chicken and we loved it all.

Yelp
Such a fun experience trying Cobra for the first time! The vibe is super hip and the seating is first come first serve. You order everything at the counter. I started off with the XXX Sour cocktail which was delicious. Maybe even my favorite cocktail in Columbus. My boyfriend and I had fun perusing their unique menu. Ultimately we went with the kimchi bacon dog, dan dan noodles, and sweet potato and pork dumplings. The hot dog was my favorite, with the dan dan noodles in a close second (they were just a bit too spicy for me). I'm excited to come back and try more of their unique dishes!

Yelp
Wow!! A happy surprise that was right by the hotel we stayed at. Ambiance was so moody with dark decor and red lit. Food was really good! They have quintessential bar food but also Asian dishes that were absolute fire. We tried the orange ribs and the short rib from the yakitori grill. We went back later in the evening after some drinks and got some AMAZING burgers with GF buns and side of fries w/ aioli. The shot combos were really nice. Look under the boilermakers menu! My husband had the whiskey/broth combo and I had the tequila/lemon seltzer. Absolute fire starter. Really creative dishes and drinks and so yum!

Yelp
This place has intrigued me for a while, but it's only open in the evenings, and I generally am out in the afternoons. But I was nearby on a weekday evening, and had an hour to kill. So this was perfect. Not super busy, although plenty of people to give a nice vibe. Definitely a bar/restaurant, and I'm sure at peak times it is more of a party atmosphere and a bar. But it was pretty laid-back at 6 PM on a Thursday, and there was old alt rock playing, and it was just very comfortable. And warm, when it was cold outside. Dark and cozy. Outdoor seating for the summer. Interesting menu, Asian fusion, but with a twist. It says Taiwanese, and maybe I just am unfamiliar, but to me it looked like Chinese food with Italian noodles. Very good versions, very nicely balanced in terms of flavor and texture. I started with the soba noodles, served cold, with pickled turnips, I think. The pickles were my favorite part. The noodles were still very good, but I could've eaten a whole plate of pickled veggies. The Dan Dan noodles were great. As I said, seemed like Italian pasta. But the sauce and the other ingredients were very Asian. A bit of heat in the back. Warm and filling. Good service, although a couple of the people were a bit curt. I think they were a little overworked. Nice place, for an evening meal or a date or even a celebration at the busier times. Their own parking lot, plus street parking.

Yelp
Loved my experience at Cobra! The food was killer and the Kopiko Espresso Martini might be my favorite espresso martini in Columbus. Definitely worth visiting and will be back again!

Yelp
Finishing up a work trib, we spent our last night in Columbus and went to Cobra for dinner. This was my favorite meal of the whole trip and I think I speak for my coworkers on that one too. We got back to Columbus a little later than we wanted and needed to get settled into our rooms after a long day so dinner was kinda late. No problem at Cobra because they serve the regular menu until midnight and then a late night menu until just before 2am. You order cocktails at the bar so we started with a beverage and looked over the menu. It all sounded great so we ordered family style and got a little bit of everything to try. I don't recall all the plates we ordered, but everything was great and the food came out super fast. If you've never had a savory shot try the broth back which is a shot of dewars with hot soup broth on the side. This is only my second time finding something like this on a restaurant menu and it might be my new favorite thing. I'm sure our group was a little delirious from a long week, but we had so much fun at this dinner and I think a lot of that is attributed to the vibe that Cobra brings. Plus the bathrooms were super cool and one had a Everything Everywhere All at Once theme. Try to find all the references!

Yelp
Food was amazing but the Cobra Coney (one and only thing I didn't care for) Also their drinks are absolutely amazing!

Yelp
The food was far from the worst I've had, but it certainly wasn't the best either. Honestly, I don't get the hype and wouldn't return. I ordered the Shanghai Noon Burger, which was described as two beef patties, Cobra Q sauce, American cheese, fried shallots, and soy cucumbers. Right off the bat, they didn't ask how I wanted it cooked, which was a red flag. The burger itself was dry, oddly uniform in shape suggesting it may have been a frozen patty and the bun was disappointingly very low quality. The Cobra Q sauce had a strange flavor I couldn't quite place, but I know I wouldn't want it again. I specifically asked if the patty was a smash burger and was told it was, but that was clearly not the case. Overall, the burger was a 1/10 the only redeeming element was the soy cucumbers, which were absolutely divine. The Mama Chien's Dumplings were another letdown. The smell alone made me hesitant, but I gave them a chance and quickly regretted it. The texture was thick and gummy, and the pork filling had an off-putting texture as well. The seasoned fries were way too salty, and the miso soup was bland. On the brighter side, the Ezzo Pizza Dumplings were a creative spin on Pizza Rolls; crispy, flavorful, and impossible to mess up thanks to the Ezzo pepperoni. The accompanying dipping sauce was garlicky, packed with chives, and absolutely delicious. The real standout for me was the garlicky broccolini, which had a perfect balance of char, garlic, and cilantro. Service-wise, you order at the counter, pay, and they bring the food to you. The ambiance is fun, and I hear the drinks are the real highlight, though I didn't try them myself. It's definitely a vibey spot with a cool photo booth, but the food just didn't do it for me.

Yelp
Was looking for a spot to eat for our last dinner in Columbus on our work trip and found this spot on Yelp! We decided we had to go cuz the food looked amazing, and it was a good thing that it looked just as good as it tasted! We were able to sit wherever we wanted and then just order drinks at the counter which is what we did. I got an espresso martini and it was perfect. To eat, we basically did tapas style as a group and shared everything. We ordered quite a few different things and j wish I remembered all of it but everyone we ordered was amazing and sooo tasty! Some of the pasta dishes had a nice kick to them too! The bathrooms were pretty cool too, which I realize is a weird thing to comment on. But the lighting was fun! Amazing service too. We were well taken care of and it was such a great dinner with my colleagues!

Yelp
To me, this is a dream bar concept. It might not be your dream, but it's certainly mine. Craft cocktails and Asian food? Abso-freakin-lutely. Our final night in Columbus started here (and could've ended here quite frankly because this place rocks). They brand themselves as " A Good Night Bar" and "An Asian American Neighborhood Bar," both hit the nail on the head if you ask me. There were 5 of us and I placed our drink order at the bar for 5 different cocktails. I couldn't believe how quickly the bartender executed these drinks. I was actually in shock and in awe at his skill level and efficiency. All cocktails were made to perfection in a mere matter of minutes. Mind blown. What's more, the food was outstanding. You can order the full food menu until midnight, and the late night menu is available until 1:45am. Can I get a hell yeah? This is my kinda place! We ordered about 10 dishes between the 5 of us. Hey, if you put 5 Yelp community managers at a dinner table, this is bound to happen! From dumplings to dan dan noodles to popcorn chicken to pork belly skewers to more than I can even count, every dish was exceptional. I can't speak more highly of this place. I followed them on Instagram once we left and learned that they are currently in the running for Best New U.S. Cocktail Bar. Columbus, count your GD blessings. Cobra for the win.

Yelp
A lively atmosphere with a great patio. I haven't had a bad bite yet, and appreciate the late night kitchen.

Yelp
Cobra has been open since last October and they are clearly making a name for themselves. As soon as my friends made a reservation here for dinner, I checked them out on Yelp and I was totally down. We arrived on a busy workday evening and parking was a bit of a hassle. Luckily we found free street parking in the neighborhood just around the corner. When we walked in we were greeted immediately by their welcoming staff. At this restaurant, you order your food at the bar and then a server will bring it out to you. This was a clunky process in my opinion. Anytime you wanted to order another round of drinks or additional food, you had to go to the bar to order, which is where your tab would be at and where you would close out at the end of your meal. A few times we had to go up to the bar and wait in a line to order more. There also wasn't a way to ask the staff about the menu until you were at the front of the line unless you were able to track down an employee either bussing tables or waiting near the kitchen to deliver food. My group all ordered cocktails, a few appetizers, and entrees. They told us that food just comes out when it comes out so things wouldn't necessarily come in order. We got everything all at once but we weren't mad about it. I ordered the espresso martini and my friends got the saketini and a beer. I really liked my cocktail but it was so small, it was gone in a flash. Water is self-serve in the back, by the way. As for food, we split Mama Chien's sweet potato dumplings, the seasoned fries, and some rice cakes. The dumplings were seriously fire and I would come back for those alone. The dumpling sauce and cilantro was on point. For my entree I ordered their very popular item, the Da Dan noodles, but the vegetarian version which comes with crumbed tofu, simmered in the same sauce as the pork. It was downright delicious and I ate every bite on my plate. The noodles were perfectly al dente, the sauce was creamy as could be, and the peanuts on top gave it a nice crunch. I would also order this dish again in a heartbeat. Needless to say, I'll be back with friends. They also have a late-night menu, which they serve from 12am-1:45am. You can't find that in Columbus very often so make a mental note for the next time you find yourself hungry late at night.

Yelp
Everyone here was friendly and helpful. I appreciated the laid back approach- they handed us menus as soon as we walked in and told us to find a table and then order at the counter when we were ready. The patio was full, but we lucked into a nice table there after we ordered (and before our food arrived) and the space was comfortable - not too loud. We tried the dumplings - 1/2 sweet potato and 1/2 pork - and the Dan Dan noodles. The bar tender recommended getting the seasoned fries to soak up the sauce from the dumplings, and it was a good call. The dumplings were very good, and the sauce was yummy on the fries (though they were crispy enough that they didn't really soak up the sauce even when I left them swimming in it for awhile). My only complaint was that the serving size was on the small side, just 6 dumplings, which left me still hungry. The Dan Dan noodles were not at all what I expected... not bad, but I don't think I'd order them again.

Yelp
My friend and I had been wanting to go to Cobra since it opened! We finally got to go on a weekday. We had 5 minutes before happy hour was ending so we placed our order to score some of the deals. For drinks, my friend got the yuzu spritz while I got the gold tooth tiger. Refreshing! And not a bad deal for HH. For food, we shared the popcorn chicken, seasoned fries with aioli, sweet potato dumplings. Everything tasted good! The sweet potato dumplings were unique and delicious! The fries weren't anything out of the ordinary and the popcorn chicken was decent. The best popcorn chicken I've had is from Bopomofo, but it's not a bad option here in town! We also shared the Dan Dan noodles. It was full price since we ordered it after happy hour had finished. Good flavors but the fusilli was a bit firm. I don't eat fusilli that much so I'm not familiar what the texture should be like. It did get very loud later on in the evening after HH. It was hard to have much of a conversation. Almost every table was full! Overall, I'd come back though! The HH deals are truly a deal. I can't imagine paying full price for the portion sizes. They do have their own parking lot. It used to be a Panera bread, so the parking has a lot more spaces than what's typical for the area.

Yelp
Great bar, great appetizers and really great fusion food. The whole places is a vibe and it's perfect for either a casual bite to eat or getting dressed up for a late meal on a weekend. The server was very enthusiastic about the food choices we made which I always like because it usually means you're making the right choice.

Yelp
I think I'm going to be the unpopular opinion here but I was not a fan of cobra. I had heard so many good things so I was really looking forward to it. We came for happy hour. To start, the layout is kinda confusing. We did not see any signs that said you need to order at the counter. The restaurant is set up as a sit down service restaurant, so we thought that was a little odd. We ordered the popcorn chicken, French fries, and burger. The chicken was very very bland. It came with a sauce that also came with the fries. I would've love it if had its own unique sauce or something a little different. The chicken tasted like chicken thighs which would've been great if it weren't so greasy. They just felt heavy on oil. The fries were fries. I honestly thought they tasted frozen. We saw everyone with them so I guess I kinda thought that was their thing? I was wrong. Literally fries I can get anywhere. The burger was fine. It's an Asian style take and had some sort of sauce that tasted similar to a peanut sauce. It was very curry like. It just didn't really mash well with the cheese and ground beef with pickles. Overall I sadly don't think I'll be back. The noddles looked yummy but I wasn't wowed by anything we ordered, so I don't know if those would be my saving grace either.

Yelp
Very disappointed. Claims to be a Taiwanese steakhouse but it is really just a dive bar. There is a very limited menu with an Asian flare. Basically Asian styled bar food, which was nothing like a steakhouse. I feel really mislead. We decided to leave and try something else.

Yelp
Amazing espresso martinis and I LOVE the dumplings!!!!!! The food is wonderful the environment is also great. Perfect for a drink out or date night! You just order at the counter when you walk in and then go get comfortable !

Yelp
Every time we come here, the food is fantastic. This time we came by after an event and were so happy to find good food available late night. The pizza dumplings were an elevated take on pizza rolls and hit the spot. Dan Dan noodles are always a win and the popcorn chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside! If you haven't been here, you have to come check it out asap!

Yelp
Cobra was a lot of fun. Cool atmosphere with a range of diners; it is definitely a hip place, but there were everyone from older diners, college students, and even some couples with babies on a Saturday evening. Excellent cocktails and a small but delicious menu with a lot of inventiveness and variety, from noodle dishes to sandwiches to yakitori grill items. We had the chili crisp chicken sandwich, which was delicious (great flavor but not overly spicy, especially thanks to the mint & basil mayo) and the dan dan noodles with pork ragu was perfectly seasoned. The salad was refreshing and the fries were well cooked and crispy. You order drinks and food at a counter and then it is brought to your table (these servers are attentive and helpful-- for instance, they clear plates often as needed and were happy to bring extra sauce for the fries). The only hard thing is that tables are first come first served, so if it is just you have to be ready to pounce on the first table you see being vacated (which can be stressful or awkward if multiple people are eyeing the same table!).

Yelp
I like the French fries and the place has some cool lighting. It was 3 stars for me and was overall ok. I really wanted to like this place but left feeling like I probably won't make an effort to come back. It was nice to check it out but it just fell short for me and was just ok. The staff and bartenders were great though and super friendly. And it was so loud. It was fun to people watch but more like a bar with food than a restaurant. You walk in and have to find your own seat and you order at the bar and bring the food out to you. Yeah, not a fan. It's not fast food. Speaking of food. We ordered our food and the dishes came out at two separate times. It was so long I told my partner to go ahead. When my dish arrived they apologized for the delay but I think they forgot about me. It really took so long that I kept looking back thinking the next dish up would be mine but wasn't. I had the Chicken Patty Katsu ($14) - House-Made Chicken Sausage Patty, American Cheese, Tonkatsu Sauce, Kewpie, and Soy Cucumber on Japanese Milk Bread. It was gross. The patty was good and so was the soy cucumber but the two slices of cold processed American cheese singles with overwhelming amounts of what tasted like bbq and mayonnaise make me nauseous. I would recommend no cheese and requesting some light sauce. I added the Seasoned Fries ($3) and those were great but that Lemon Shiso Aioli was a miss. My partner had the Mama Chien's Dumplings ($12) - Pork Filling, Mama Chien's Dumpling Sauce, Cilantro. It was more appetizer size and not a dinner portion. It was good just order some other to go with it or it's perfect for a shareable appetizer. I think if you were drinking and wanted some food it would be a better fit, but definitely not an enjoyable real dinner experience. If I ever find myself here again, I would go with the Dan Dan Noodles or the Koji Popcorn Chicken. Check out https://www.cobrabarcolumbus.com for more info.

Yelp
Food is OUTRAGEOUS and cheap AF. Get everything. We sat at the bar. The bartenders were SLAMMED but so efficient. We never waited for a drink, food or our check. This is definitely a bar/party scene.... For the late night crowd. It's not quiet. Its seat yourself and honestly a lil stressful during peak hours. I like the puzzle of it but my husband hates that. He just waits in the car while I do my thing. Tips for the neuro-spicy crowd.

Yelp
Last night was our first visit to Cobra and it was tasty! It's got a cool vibe and tons of fusion food choices. The staff was friendly. The ambiance was neat -- a little dark/loud -- but definitely matched the vibe of a late night kind of bar. We got... Chili Crisp Chicken Sando Ramen-Crusted Chicken Cutlet, Mint & Basil Mayo, Fermented Cabbage, Chili Crisp Dip, Sesame Seed Bun Koji Popcorn Chicken Koji Brined Thigh, Chili, Lemon, Fried Herbs, Lemon Shiso Aioli Snake Juice Hornitos Reposado Tequila, Hibiscus, Guajillo, Cinnamon, Rose, Citrus, Bergamot Banana Bread at Work Banana Bacardi 8 Year, Brown Butter, Angel's Envy Bourbon, Turbinado

Yelp
Get here! Food is entirely on point. I came here a few months after they opened in 2022 and was disappointed by the food. Was hesitant to come back. But they figured everything out and then so, so much more. It is like night and day: I was completely blown away by the quality, creativity, and freshness. Food comes out fast and HOT. Service is incredibly helpful and friendly. Got the chili crisp chicken sandwich. Wow! Super crispy but minimal breading in the absolute best way. I'm a bit of a fry snob, and these fries did not disappoint. Dumplings are a staple here and soooo good. Creative and fun drinks. The "hot girl tummy" and "above ground pool" are musts, in my opinion. Will definitely be back very soon. Easily some of the best food in the downtown-adjacent area.

Yelp
Cobra is a spot we've been eyeing for a while and we finally got to try what everyone is raving about. If you love Asian food and brewery food this place brings you an amazing fusion experience. The restaurant itself has a small bar area which is great for their happy hour or a decent amount of tables for regular seating. The crowd was also very lively. The staff were all so welcoming and helped us pick the best items on the menu. When you go you must try the dumplings (the sauce was unbelievable) and the dan dan noodles. Everything we ordered was delicious but these two items were our favorites.

Yelp
Came in the middle of the afternoon to a well-lit, clean bar and restaurant that was exactly what we wanted. I'm not a huge Asian food person, but I still had a great time with the cocktails and french fries. Would definitely come back. PROS: -Their french fries are super delicious. They're an Asian-American food place, but they did NOT phone it in with these french fries. Great portion of them too. -Everybody else really enjoyed their food too. Their Popcorn Chicken was very chicken forward without all of the usual annoying breading. The Dan Dan Noodles were tasty. Miso Soup was okay; Lemon Grass's is better, but this one was still everything you expect from a Miso. -Food was ridiculously fast. Like, "we had just sat down and someone was still washing their hands to sit down to eat", and the food beat them there fast. It was faster to get the food than it was to order it, and all of the food came piping hot. The kitchen was ON it. -Service was great too. It's fast casual (order at bar, take number to take, sit and wait), but staff was coming around often to refill water. Our cups never got under half full. -Their Espresso Martini was AMAZING. If you're someone who loves the thinner, non-milk Espresso martinis but also likes them a bit sweeter, this one is amazing. It's everything I want a non-cream Espresso Martini to be, and I would have drank way too many if we hadn't left. -Bathrooms were clean. Tables were clean. Plates and silverware were clean. No complaints there. CONS: -I'm used to a "Good Night Bar" being a bar that's open extra late. It looks like Cobra closes at 2 on most nights - though if you're hungry, they DO have a limited menu that's open almost until 2AM on most nights too. -Some cocktails were listed on their online menu but X'ed out on the in-person menus. This can make it hard to "pre-shop" what it is you want before you arrive.

Yelp
There aren't enough words to express my love for this Chinese-American Neighborhood Bar & Restaurant. I'm pretty sure they invented this restaurant category and every city in America needs one right now. OWNERS - Reno, NV needs to be on your list. Holler! You'll love local Ferino Distillery because their gin is the perfect base for the cocktail magic you create! I was sold on the menu alone. I love Asian cuisines and this one is rife with what I'll call "authentic fusion". As I read I saw queues from classic homestyle Chinese dishes that I love interpreted in new and wild ways, and I simply couldn't feign my excitement. Ordering at the bar was another fun addition to the experience. It could've been an inconvenience but the staff really make this experience stellar and the bartender that night was ON 100%. Luckily we hit it during a lull between rushes and he was happy to talk nerdy to me about all of the food and drink. The way he dug into the dishes was perfect, and every word he dropped had me more hyped about what was about to come. Fun fact: They make all their own noodles. MIND BLOWN! We ordered almost the whole menu: Pizza dumplings, tomato egg ravioli, fly's head, dan dan, pork and sweet potato dumplings, pork belly skewers, octopus and Chinese sausage skewers, charred broccolini, sesame cukes, fried noodle cakes, popcorn chicken and the 5-spice coney. The food FLEW out the kitchen and nearly all of these dishes were next level good. My least favorite was the popcorn chicken simply because it was a little greasy and salty vs having that aromatic spice I'm familiar with in this Taiwanese staple. Somehow I got this far in the review without mentioning the cocktails! My two homeys and I conspired to order their old fashioned and negroni riffs and a wild card, Afternoon Delight, just so we could try them all. EVERY ONE WAS AMAZING! Balanced but bold and unique flavors, and incredibly f'n fun! Seriously. Cobra. Come to me! The world needs more of you.

Yelp
What a great experience, love the concept of ordering at the counter and then they bring it to the table. People are nice the drinks are well made. The staff is friendly and attention giving.

Yelp
Music could use a slight adjustment on volume, it was teetering on too loud for comfortable conversation; guess it's built on the foundation of "Market the shit out of ourselves to draw in the Genzers." Whatev. For me, it all comes down to food: If you think you're all that, then you better have the flavors and textures to back it up. I'm happy to say, I was overall pleased with my food. Definitely a solid first impression. Prices seemed a bit on the high side, but so goes for pretty much every fluffin food establishment nowadays, so that's that. I don't really drink, but was quite thrilled with the mango cocktail Anna gave me a taste of. Delicious. The crab rangoon small plate was very good. Loved the smooth creamy whipped cream cheese. It had true crab on top, which is great; you obviously pay for it, but if I'm gonna chuck it over, the price better equal to quality. Job well done on this one. The thigh/onion skewer was a solid nod, too. Didn't blow my mind, but the dark meat was juicy and the seasoning wasn't a turnoff. I will say I absolutely love Cobra's concept of bringing together well-seasoned local Columbus chefs to throw together some interesting Taiwanese flavors that are still somewhat not as prevalent in central Ohio; I'm really glad they're helping the city's palate expand!

Yelp
I spend a fair amount of time in LA and I sort of got a WEST HOLLYWOOD bar vibe outta this place which is a GOOD THING! This spot has got a Lively atmosphere, good music, great drinks, and last but not least killer food. Everything was fresh, made to order, and executed with precision. The burger was succulent with an Asian flare. The Ezzo pizza dumplings were like a homemade PIZZA ROLLS but far more BETTER, Koji Popcorn Chicken was awesome. Fries were amazing. They've got their own parking lot, you seat yourselves, you get up and order at the bar, they give you a number and bring your food out to you. While at the bar if you order a cocktail they'll make it there before you go back to your seat to wait on your food. No fuss, no mess, and GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE to boot. Kiddo even loved the food. We'll most definitely be back.

Yelp
I met Marlena L and Gwen W here for happy hour when they opened at 4pm. There was plenty of parking in their lot. I was handed a menu and greeted at the door since I was the first customer. I sat at a table for 4 and checked out the menu. They also have a happy hour list of drink specials. You place your order at the counter, and can open a tab for both food & drinks. We had great service behind the bar. I waited for my drink to be made as I don't believe they walk them to you. There was a guy walking around refilling any water glasses. There was a runner delivering food upon completion. The music was a little loud for conversation, but wasn't horrible. My XXX Sour cocktail was really good. My Chicken Patty Katsu was pretty tasty. I was excited about it being served on Japanese Milk Bread becasuse I have recently seen it being made on a you tube video. It wasn't as soft & fluffy as I imagined, but still had a nice texture. My side of Seasoned Fries with Lemon Shiso Aioli was, well, they weren't fresh-cut, but still ok. The Aioli was fantastic! It seems to be very well-run and organized. I think this is a cool addition to the area and wish them well. They got busy, so I think they have a following already.

Yelp
This restaurant is located in the German Village with a good amount of lot parking which is very convenient. I went with 2 friends for happy hour and it didn't disappoint. We ordered our drinks and food at the bar and then sat down after we got our drinks! I ordered the gold tooth tiger drink and it was amazing. It was sweet but also had a citrusy tang to it which I really liked. The food didn't take super long to arrive. I shared the fries and the dumplings and they were both good! I accidentally had one sweet potato dumpling instead of the pork one and I actually liked the sweet potato one more! The man who took our order suggested dipping the fries in the dumpling sauce and it made the fries taste even better than they did initially. I got the Dan Dan noodles for my entree and it was perfect and delicious. It had a good amount of sauce and spice. The space is dimmer with a nice vibe and perfect for a date night or just to catch up with friends. I will definitely be back!

Yelp
I've been in twice now and finally making a review. So vibes, service, location and the fact that they have a parking lot downtown is really carrying this place. The food is just okay IMO. They definitely get points for the creativity of the menu but I just have not been wowed yet. This trip I tried the kimchi hot dog which was good but not mind-blowing. Also tried the shishito peppers which again good. I do like that they have a lot of small plates so you can try multiple things and not commit to a full meal. Also there cocktails are very unique and again they have some great options depending on what you're looking for. Overall I'd definitely probably stop back in.

Yelp
Love the vibe here, and food came pretty quick considering it was packed. The chicken sandwich was good, and all of the drinks I had were great. I would say those are the stars from what we tried. The crab rangoon dip was awfully expensive for not being very good. So unbelievably salty, left a lot to be desired because I was super excited about this! I love the concept! The Cacio E Szechuan was fine but it genuinely just tasted like elevated buttered noodles... not a whole lot of flavor? I felt a bit disappointed. I will definitely be back to try other sandwiches and drinks. Maybe my expectations were too high and I need to come at more of a "dinner time"?

Yelp
Incredible food with the right amount of spice and flavor. A little on the expensive side but that is to be expected. I was a little turned off to the cocktails because they are from a tap instead of made from scratch. Also, the restaurant is first come first serve seating, and you order from the bar. This might turn some people off to the experience but that is exactly what it is, a great experience.

Yelp
Good bar for drinks and late night bites. It's very cool they have their own parking in German Village. Packed for a Friday night though - standing room only. We got the espresso martini ($11) and old fashioned ($13). The espresso martini was actually really good especially with the wafer on top. Would like to come back to the try the food when it isn't so packed! Really good concept for the area

Yelp
Run, don't walk to Cobra! The service is super friendly, the drinks are inventive, and the food is AMAZING! The ambiance is fun and it's easily the best spot for late night food. I will be dreaming of the sweet potato dumplings for months. There are so many delectable items in the menu that I can't wait to go back!

Yelp
By far our favorite spot we dined at during our visit to Ohio! On our last night in the city we decided to check out this spot and we are so happy we did, since we were a group of 5 we ordered sooo much food because everything on the menu sounded amazing. If there was a Cobra in San Diego this would be one of my go to spots for dinner and drinks. The cocktail menu was incredible I went with the XXX sour which was sweet with a little bit of sour and was vodka based, definitely a refreshing drink for the heat. This spot is seat yourself but there was lots of seating available for a Thursday night. We ordered a lot of food and everything came out so fast we were in shock! My favorite menu items were the Flys Head noodles which are super spicy but so good if you like spice. The Mama Chiens Dumplings we got the pork and sweet potato which were a favorite of the table and the sauce was the perfect touch. We also had to get the Cobra Coney and cut it up so we could each have a bite. Highly recommend coming to Thai spot if you're in town it is definitely worth it!
