Coca-Cola Says It Won’t Ditch Plastic Bottles | Eater

"At the World Economic Forum in Davos, Bea Perez, the brand's head of sustainability, defended continued use of single-use plastic bottles by arguing consumers prefer lightweight, resealable packaging and that switching entirely to aluminum or glass could increase the company's carbon footprint. Rather than eliminate single-use plastics, the company is prioritizing changes to bottling infrastructure and recycling, and has set targets to make all consumer packaging 100% recyclable by 2025 and to use at least 50% recycled material by 2030. This stance comes amid criticism for plastic pollution — it was named the top polluting brand in a Break Free From Plastic audit for a second consecutive year — and after disclosing it produces roughly 3 million tonnes of plastic packaging annually; Perez said the company recognizes it must "be part of the solution." - Jenny G. I arrived to load at 2:20 pm, my I appointment was for 3:00 pm, they sent me out since they did not have parking to wait, they assigned me a door at 4:49 pm, they did not give me any instructions, at around 6:20 I went to ask if everything was okay because they had not touched me, they told me it would be soon, they started loading me at 7:20 pm, the place does not have space for sleeper trucks, in front of the doors there are a lot of pallets making it almost impossible to park, I checked the trailer at 7:52 and it was still not full. 🫤 At 8:37 they finished loading and informed me to go to the office to get the loading papers. I ended up leaving at 9:29 p.m. That Coca-Cola location is dangerous😞

Every time I read or look up reviews before I deliver. Most of the time there right. This time there wrong. Appointment was at 900am, check in at 830. The 2 black young ladies were very nice n professional. Told me to park, n there call to tell me what dock. Exactly at 900am, call n got dock. Hour later done, wait only for paperwork 15 minutes. Compare to other place. This place was excellent in my book. Great job to the whole staff, from security to the forklift operator. Keep up the good work. For you truckers, just be nice n bring a good attitude n maybe your be in n out like me. Lets act professional n there treat you with respect. Lets go truckers. Lets all give them good reviews. 👍 Thanks to Management for running a smooth operation.

Very bad place the employees are bad the truck drivers are nothing but steering wheel holders. As shown in this picture he purposefully went around other drivers and blocked traffic while an otr driver was trying to get docked in a very tight and obsolete dock. Other Coca Cola drivers wouldn't get out and help sight him in. I got out and directed traffic while this excuse of a driver sat in his truck.

Yeah it's a little tight. Just a little. Only 4 stars because there is no rest room. Everyone has been super nice. Will help with a good attitude. After check in and you don't have a dock you will have to go to the waiting area. 3220 Vera Ave. A little tight getting in and out of there. But hey, we are professional drivers. We get paid for doing this. When checking in go to the court yard on Mercy Industrial Court and turn around. Drive back up to the 1st gate park on the left curb and walk to the security guard. She/he will tell you what to do. It's a little tight backing in but you have plenty of room to do it. Don't forget to slide your tandems. Also recommend to get there at 8am when they open up. It is fcfs. In the morning avg waiting time to unload is between 1-2 hours. Do not try to check in at the coca cola entrance, 2nd gate. Turn around in the court yard. Update. There is a restroom. In the shipping office.

Congratulations on the NEW flavor. Instead of research and development why don’t you focus on getting the products you have delivered. My order’s were either canceled or short 1/3 of the product, now they deliver UPS and if something is missing or short TO BAD, no one to call. I added a big Pepsi cooler and they deliver on time

Shipping procedure is complete cluster. From checking is people dumb as box of rocks to contact person Ryan Findley having no interest in loading trucks, pushes everyone off to overflow lot that is completely full of dropped trailers. Don't ask people to show up for a 6 AM appointment if you not ready for them at 6. Completely inept.
