Cochino Taco

I enjoyed the environment and most of the food and drinks here. Service was also nice. It wasn’t over the top memorable but a few things were really great like the queso with pork belly in it. I would skip the elote (it was just okay) but go for the ceviche and pork belly tacos. They also had a boozy horchata which was yummy!

Amazing tacos, delicious margaritas, and happy hour EVERYDAY from 11am to 6pm. What more can you ask for? This spot is one of my new favorite restaurants on South Broadway. I've tried out the cotija cheese skirt tacos, fungus among us tacos, the funky chicken tacos, chicken tinga, maji baja, the el borracho camaron, and the two crunchy tacos. My favorites so far have been the maji baha, cotija cheese skirt, and the fungus among us tacos. For drinks, I've tried the casa margarita, the cochino coin margarita, the cucumber margarita, and the tequila flight - my favorite so far is the cochino coin margarita. Also, I'd like to shoutout our waiter Sean who helped us pick out the perfect tacos. If you're in town looking for the best taco spot - look no further!

Delicious tacos. Worth the price. Amazing happy hour. Wonderful margaritas. Quality customer service! First time here and I placed my drink order in which there was a time issue and delay in my drink and food order. My server Tiaira and the manager apologized and offered to offset my bill due to this issue. I really appreciated this as I was hungry and ready for food. Happy hour is every day from 11-6! Amazing. Make sure to go in this time! You save a little over $2 on some of the margaritas and apps. I ordered a Piña piña peno margarita suggested by the server. Delicious, good heat and sweet. (On happy hour menu) Also ordered the Squash Ratatouille tacos from the HH menu. Delicious with so much flavor. 2 tacos for $5! Ordered 1 Taco Al Cabron taco. Also delicious and great flavor. $4.50 Last taco I ordered was the single carne asada taco. $4.75 This taco alone would get a 5 star. The flavor was AMAZING. I will probably be back again for this before I leave my trip in Denver. One of my favorite carne asada tacos ever. I also got this without the tomatillo dressing (I dislike avocados) and thought the taco was superb. Ordered a frozen Paloma margarita to go. Great flavor and strong alcohol in the margaritas. Even though it started off a bit slow/rocky, would definitely recommend! Didn’t get tequila specifically but sooo many options.

Great happy hour place! The queso burger is legit and one of the best burgers I’ve ever had in Denver. Try the Doritos Nachos if you can too. Staff was cool as well and helpful if you have allergy questions. They have a working bingo board inside, but have no idea if they actually host games. If you’re a bingo fan, this place is right up your alley.

Cochino tacos has some of the best food around. Is it my favorite authentic Mexican restaurant? No, because they aren’t an authentic Mexican restaurant! all the other negative reviews who didn’t like their food, didn’t look into anything before showing up. The food, staff, drinks, ambience are all top-notch and uniquely Denver. They care about YOUR experience, THIER ingredients and delivering tacos in a badass way. The margaritas aren’t in a pint glass, but they are strong and worthy. Treat yourself - spend an hour or so here with some of your favorite people and change my mind.

I enjoy the chips and the drinks. The rice bowl that I got wasn’t my favorite because it had a lot of tomato sauce (didn’t see that anywhere on the menu). Seems like a great place. Drinks were bomb

OK food good setting and staff. Didn't live the tacos particularly. Was worth checking out. Cool vibe and setting. But the food to me was just average.

A safe taco place to visit during covid. We started coming here prior to covid because of the great happy hour and nice summer patio. The tacos during happy hour are like great homemade beef and chicken tacos but a bit better and no clean up. The drinks here are great, it's easy to forget your in Denver and not at a island with tasty mixed drinks. The covid response here for safety is the best I've seen in Denver. They've closed off each private seating area so you are only exposed to the group you came with. It's relaxing and comfortable. Plexy glass around some tables and curtains between areas. It's nice. It may be the tasty drinks but I feel comfortable here. I've included some pictures so you can see the separation they've created. Additionally, I've included the happy hour menu.
