Cocina con MiMo

Highly recommend going to restaurant Cocina con MiMo in Leon where guests can choose from two menu options. Guests can sit in the dining room or at the bar overlooking the kitchen. The service is excellent and the chef respects allergies and food preference that were communicated when making reservations. Con MiMo serves up creative dishes with a lot of flavors. Reservations recommended.

Really fun experience - unique food with great flavors and warm service. Better than some michelin one stars I have had.

I had lunch at Cocina Con Mimo August 21, 2023. I ordered the long tasting menu which consisted of 12 individual items. The food was wonderful as was the service. The €50 cost was reasonable for what I received. I asked for wine recommendations, and the staff offered suggestions of local wines which would complement my meal. I left very satisfied and happy, and would gladly return.

The foie stone was an interesting presentation and I enjoyed the green gazpacho, especially the tomato ice cream that comes with it. They made some changes in the menu for me which was very appreciated.

The best restaurant in Leon . I went there with my fiancé and her parents . The food was delicious ,quality and taste was absolutely top notch ! the owners Javi and Angela are so nice and friendly . I didn’t want to leave . Highly recommended for everyone who’s visiting Leon ! I wish I could leave more than 5 stars !!

Cocina con MiMo, located in the heart of León historical centre, offers a very high level of cuisine, combining traditional dishes with very innovative twists. We tried the larger set menu and found it interesting and satisfactory; moreover, the prices for this level of cuisine are reasonable! What instead was not at par with the food experience were the setting, quite unremarkable if not even banal, and the service which, although technically adequate, lacked any empathy in the main persons, whose attitude seemed actually complacent and patronising.

A memorable meal. The won me over with the first dish - a "stone" of chocolate & foie. Overall the food is imaginative but absolutely on point. We had the cheaper degustation & it was amazing value. Recommended. Tip: Booking is complicated. The table seating & degustation only start at 9pm. If you book for 8:30 they aren't available.

Reconsider eating at this restaurant. The food is a real miss, and disappointing if you’re only in Leon for a short time. There must be better alternatives. We have been traveling around northern Spain for a couple of weeks and this restaurant was by far our worst experience. The food combinations just don’t work. The Russian salad is combined with an overpowering sweet confit topping, the octopus with a sweet corn purée was completely inedible. Seriously bad. We did communicate with the waitress and manager but they seemed surprised. I think they offered a different choice, but by that time we had lost all confidence. I would strongly suggest finding another restaurant. Not cheap to end up with a big mistake.
