Cocina La Michoacana

I’ve only been here once and can only speak for the quesobirria tacos but they were amazing! I want to come back to try other stuff on the menu. The meat was very tender and flavourful, as well as the consumee. The meal came with free chips which were wonderful and crunchy, lots of lime (which I appreciated), and homemade salsa which complimented the tacos.

Such an authentic Mexican restaurant. From the music to the decor to the food. Tacos were amazing. Had chicken, barbacoa and queso Birria. Found bones in the barbacoa however no big deal it proved authenticity. Chicken was spicy and delicious. Can’t wait to try them all.

Cozy little local restaurant for Mexican food. The food is really good and staff are friendly. You'll have to order at the counter and they'll bring the food over, but the meal quality is great and the portions are big.

The food here is incredible. I was looking for authentic Mexican. I loved the vibes. The staff was really friendly and it was true authentic Mexican. There is not a patio, and there is limited tables, but for a small restaurant, they have a mighty menu!! we got the combo one and combo two so we could try a little bit of everything! They do not serve alcohol here. Delicious!

The Authentic Mexican Restaurant in town. So I was told. This also came from not one but a few Mexicans when asked. True enough the food was tasty. The serving size for a dish is just good for one but can be shared given you have more orders coming out. We had soft and crunchy tacos, burrito, nachos, guacamole, birria, fajitas (others not in photos). In spite of the heat, it’s a limited area you can still enjoy dining in .

Wow, for years I thought my favourite Mexican restaurant in Peterborough Ontario could never be beat, boy was I wrong. This place is family run and filled with local Latin families (they know how good it is). The prices for portion sizes are phenomenal and the flavour is even more unbelievable. I cannot recommend this place enough. Easily some of the best Mexican food I’ve ever had, the father came out halfway through and asked if we needed anything extra! The family style vibe and authenticity of this place is so hard to beat

This place is stupid good. We went at 6ish on a Saturday and it was busy - so be prepared to potentially wait. All the food was so delicious, we had various beef, pork, and chicken dishes. Everything was amazing. You order at the counter but the food is delivered to your table. Staff is very very friendly and it’s toddler friendly. I also highly recommend getting a side of rice and beans. Definitely recommend.

Delicious, friendly and cozy. If you want authentic Mexican food this is were you go. The dinning area is abit small. But good food always draws a crowd. Be prepared to have a new hyperfixation. This food will have you coming back for more.
