"Cockleshell Bay Stretching along the Narrows—the channel between St. Kitts and its sister island, Nevis—Cockleshell Bay’s powdered sands and crystalline waters are among the island’s prettiest. The beach is a popular place to swim, snorkel, or sip cocktails while listening to live local music."

One of the most gorgeous beaches. You can hang here and relax or grab a beer and snacks at a local bar. Easy to reach with taxis and you get a nice view of the island driving there. Water is clear and easy to access.

Awesome beach and location for swimming and enjoying your holiday! Sun, sand and plenty of cold beer 🍻... plus you can enjoy a seaside aloe rub (massage) from a local. Being on the Caribbean side, the water is calmer and warmer! This was a nice surprise as we are staying at Frigate Bay in the large resort, which is on the Atlantic Ocean side of the island. The beach bars and restaurants make a day long visit possible and a fun change from staying at the resort!

Cockleshell was awesome! We had a few of our cruise ship friends tell us to come here. The snorkeling was out of this world!! So many conch shells. We went from one end to the other side of the beach. We stopped and ate at miss debs shack and the chicken and drinks were wonderful. We also decorated her shack with conch shells we found! We will be back here, good fun spot

Beach is very clean. There is a bar/restaurant where you can be served from your lounge chair. There are options to rent jet skis and kayaks and get messages. We found that a lot of people from the Marriott and Hyatt go here because it is one of the nicest and closest.

Nice beach to visit. It’s a bit further than the other beaches and therefore less crowded. Went there on a Wednesday and by the end of the afternoon we were almost alone on the beach. However, as it says in its name, a lot of the shoreline is covered in small rocks/sea shells which can make walking into the water a bit more tricky. Like most beaches, they charge 10$ for chair and 5$ for umbrellas, but you can always walk a bit further down the shore and just put down a towel. There are many local restaurants along the shore, we went to Reggae Beach Bar which had one of the best Chicken Roti in town. Also tried the fried Conch which was great.

Beautiful beach. Less busy than those at South Friars Bay. Pretty laid back, but has restaurants, bars, beach chairs and umbrellas (for a small fee of $10). Taxi ride is $7 (US) each way per person.

This beach was not as spectacular as others in the Caribbean, the water was a little murky and the amenities were few. Overall it is a cheap $7 per person taxi from the port with great island views and $10 to rent two chairs and an umbrella. There was good snorkeling.

This is the best swimmable beach on St. Kitts. The sand is soft and both Reggae Beach Bar and Spice Mill are excellent places to get food and drinks on the sand. No Limit and other bars are great too and are located throughout the beach. The swim platform in front of Reggae Beach in fun. It's fun to watch the goats on the hill. There are jet ski rentals, etc. as well. WATCH OUT if swimming near the pier. Boats often come in and out of that area quite quickly!
