Christmas Pop-Up Bars Are Big Business | Eater

"An online and retail supplier of professional bar tools, glassware and specialty ingredients founded by the pop-up’s creator; the company sells shakers, fancy bitters and syrups and supplies the kitschy holiday mugs and other glassware used by participating venues, while its founder leveraged industry connections to scale the seasonal franchise." - Whitney Filloon

Cool place, but was DOUBLE charged for two shakers (only bought one set) and they also gave me the incorrect footed glassware. When we got back to our hotel I called and was told I’d get a email with a label to return, followed up on my emails, nothing and looked at my receipt and discovered he charged me for 2x shaker sets as-well! If someone could reach out to me asap that would be greatly appreciated.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Cocktail Kingdom has set the bar incredibly high when it comes to customer service and product quality! From start to finish, my experience with their team has been nothing short of exceptional. Katie Kennedy and her team went above and beyond to assist me with a return that fell outside their usual policy. Despite my delay in initiating the process, they demonstrated not only their flexibility but also their genuine care for their customers. Katie’s communication was prompt, clear, and incredibly thoughtful—she even passed along my concerns to their EVP of Sales to ensure a resolution was found. Their products are top-notch, and their commitment to customer satisfaction truly sets them apart in the industry. It’s rare to find a company that combines outstanding products with equally outstanding service, but Cocktail Kingdom does it effortlessly. I can’t recommend them enough for anyone looking to elevate their cocktail game or seeking a trusted partner in the beverage industry. Thank you, Katie and the Cocktail Kingdom team, for turning what could have been a frustrating experience into a seamless and positive one. You’ve earned a lifelong customer!

Google
order all my barware and glassware from Cocktail Kingdom. All of their products actually work and last a long time. Huge fan of the Mixtin for all of my drinks. Highly recommend!!

Google
Highly Recommend! I ordered a set of Koriko tins and was a little upset because the large one did not sit flat. When I reached out to complain the customer service was wonderful. They asked me for a photo and actually cared that this happened. They immediately sent me a replacement tin, and it arrived in just a few days. Always comforting to see a business that stands behind their products. Anyone in the industry knows this is the place to get the tools!

Google
Worst customer service and most expensive for any barware! Shop elsewhere for better quality, cheaper prices and MOSTLY better Customer Service. When you include their shipping costs, they are the costliest merchant to buy barware and you can find every item they sell cheaper than their store. They sent the wrong item to me and refused to honor their mistake. My out-of-pocket costs for the original and return shipping was over $28! And then I had to purchase a replacement shaker set. Buy Elsewhere!

Google
GAZ REGAN NEGRONI FINGER STIRRER... 45 bucks for this and then 28 dollars in shipping. If I could give ZERO stars I would. And to anyone reading this, yeah I came from YT. Unbelievable they couldn't work with him on any of it, he still gives them free publicity, AND they charge almost 30 bucks for shipping! Don't buy here, Crate and Barrel has better stuff.

I order all my barware and glassware from Cocktail Kingdom. All of their products actually work and last a long time. Huge fan of the Koriko tins, and their line of acrylic glasses are my favorite for drinking by the pool in the summer. 5 stars across the board!

Google
The best source for high-quality barware! I’ve had cheaper tools get scratched and chipped and loose over time, but my Cocktail Kingdom products have held up. I also love their reproductions of historical tools and recipe books.

Yelp
This place has been on my list for quite some time, but the day I happened to go was their sale that only happens once every few years! I went for some Koriko shakers that happened to be half off! That aside, the staff there were very knowledgeable and the patrons shopping were mostly professional bartenders rather than cocktails enthusiasts like myself. Everyone was happy to share their knowledge and it was a good time. Most people coming here already know what they're shopping for, but feel free to ask questions and take advantage of their expertise. It it upstairs on the 2nd floor. The doorbell is on the left side of the door, which is to the right of the Japanese restaurant.

Yelp
Horrendous customer service. Yes their stuff is nice, but it's only about 3% nicer than BarFly and they stand behind their customers. Placed an order, paid extra for specific shipping (needed stuff by a certain date-woyldnt have ordered through them otherwise in the 1st place). They blew it out of the water by an additional 2-days. And, when I emailed them they blamed it on FedEx. When I called them on it, saying "sure, shippers run into delays. But I paid extra through YOUR website because YOU chose to offer those shipping options. FedEx didn't make you offer anything other than FedEx Home/Ground. It's on a business to make up that difference to THEIR customer, and then go to FedEx and file a claim as THEY are FedExs customer. They basically told me to go to hell. I wasn't asking for much. No refund or anything silly. I just wanted the extra shipping reimbursed (about $35). As a business owner that ships about $5mill a year through FedEx i know how it works. I also would have just humored a customer over that amount of money, even if they were wrong (which I wasnt). Pretty moronic hill to die on but that tells you who you're dealing with. Buy from Barfly.

Yelp
I ordered a Koriko shaker from them and it arrived to me rusted. According to their website, I can return it to them at my own expense... Basically, I waisted my money here.

Yelp
The employees at the Cocktail Kingdom showroom NYC are not very nice people. They lack the experience of product knowledge and their customer service is horrible. Please hire some new employees if you want to keep a functioning business. Thank you!

David D.

Yelp
Absolutely horrible customer service. Took over 3 months for them to exchange my items. In that time, they lost track of my return twice, took weeks to respond to emails, sent the wrong items, made me pay for shipping, and sent damaged items. And they did nothing to make up for any of this, aside from the occasional "sorry about that" in an email after a few days. Would never recommend. Might as well find someplace local to shop, or some other seller on Amazon.

Yelp
A couple of days ago i ordered some items through Cocktail Kingdoms webpage. As i live in Denmark it made sense that their would be some added taxes to the purchase. My total amount is $96. Cocktail Kingdom then adds $38 to the bill for shipping and taxes. All of which is fair and not to be concerned about. Today i recieve a message from DHL that my package will arrive today and that i have to pay aprox. 38 dollars. in order to recieve the parcel. This money is suppose to be taxes aswell. I contact DHL and they tell me that Cocktail Kingdom did not put themselves down as the payer of taxes, which means my $38 went to what? Anyways.. i end up unpacking my package and find out that the Jigger i had ordered had a manufacturing fault which has made it crooked right out the box. Ive written emails to Cocktail Kingdom and so far i havent recieved a respond. I used to have high thoughts about this establishment, but i must say this has turned me in the exact opposite direction.

Yelp
My son ordered a couple of things from Cocktail Kingdom and we never received the items. They were shipped and per FedEx the package was lost before it could be received in Chicago. Per Fed Ex we were to contact Cocktail Kingdom and request the items to be shipped again or get a refund. The FedEx employee also stated how Cocktail Kingdom was very responsive and we should have no issues getting this resolved quickly. What a Joke!! I have been leaving messages on the customer service number for a month with no response & when I tried to call today there was no more room on the voicemail to be able to leave a message. I have since sent an email to sales@cocktailkingdom.com and we shall see what happens with that. I advised my son to not order from this company anymore or refer this company to anyone.

Yelp
2 stars for customer service. 4 for showroom. Beautiful (although) small showroom with lots of equipment that cocktail enthusiasts would love. However, my experience as a customer was not good. I placed an order online and decided to pick it up from the store rather than shipping directly to my house because I didn't know if it would be delivered in time for Christmas. The ordering process was fine but the in store pick up was weird and uncomfortable. I walked in and the woman at the register looked at me, so I told her I was there for a pick up. She cut me off before I could finish my sentence and said "be with you in a minute." She then continued to stand behind the register, not visibly doing anything that would prevent her from helping me. I realized she must have been waiting on a woman that was already in the showroom shopping. After a couple minutes the customer asked her a question and she went over to help. She then slowly and meticulously completed the woman's purchase, refusing to look at me until the customer grabbed her bag and walked away. She then took her sweet time helping me, which was annoying because I was in a rush. I get that they want customers to feel like they have a customized experience but it seemed performative and ultimately ridiculous.

Yelp
Best cocktail gear anywhere. Tiny shop but these people get the joke. Super nice and knowledgeable staff. A little hard to find but it's worth it.

Yelp
Incredible. Only word to describe this place. Got the head up on this place from the bartender at Gwennett St after picking his brain about cocktails and barware. The place is totally industrial and you have to walk through several other "work spaces" but you'll know damn well when you find the spot. It was like heaven and a Bentley dealership had sex... and birthed some sort of barware-esque spawn. The guys there were super helpful and completely honest (and almost too knowledgeable) about their stock and were very patient about helping me build the foundation my bar. They've also got an insane selection of books (most are "clones" of prohibition-era journals and the like) and I couldn't resist the urge to pick something up to complement all my new toys. All in all, their gear is slightly more expensive than random garbage you'd find online, but is obviously a much higher quality and built to last a lifetime. If the bars of Death and Co., Fig19, Gwennett St (these are the ones I've noticed so far...) are all using the barware supplied here, you know it's legit. Suit up. Also, first.

Yelp
We ordered a bar set worth $180+ as a Christmas present and it never came. Contacted customer service and they said they would send another one, but the thing is, the product was already sold out by the time they said they would send another one so I was really curious as to how they would send a sold out product. They never sent a tracking number or anything so we were supposed to take their word for it. Guess what? The set never came, again. Contacted them again and they said the money would get refunded to the card used to buy it in 2-10 business days, the money never got refunded and it's been two weeks since they said the money would be refunded. My bf has tried contacting their customer service every day since then to get the money refunded at the very least and still nothing. It's really frustrating that they've dropped the ball because the products are really nice but their operations and customer service don't align. Most likely will tell any bartender in San Diego to never purchase from them ever again. If they have any good customer service at all, they will refund the money to us.

Yelp
I want to update my review now that I finally got my cocktail glasses. I chose to purchase the glasses online and deliver to the store (no delivery fees that way). I got an email notification letting me know my glasses were ready and I went that day. The process was easy and they put my package in a Cocktail Kingdom tote and gave me a bartending magazine along with it. The place was beautiful and lots of great merchandise. I'll definitely be back. I bought the 7.5 oz gold-rimmed coupe glasses. They are BEAUTIFUL and come at a great price. Love this place.

Yelp
Nice products but unfortunately their customer service is totally lacking. At least for their website, I can't comment on their store. I had an issue with the shaker I purchased and couldn't get any one to call me back and I had to email many times to get a response. Customer service was abrupt, largely unhelpful, and just plain unfriendly. I will not be shopping with them again.

Yelp
If you're a serious cocktail maker, you almost certainly should know about their website, but in case you don't you can visit their office, which has a small retail shop at the back. The staff are very helpful, and they have everything you need to stock your bar (other than the liquor), at reasonable prices, too.

Chris P.

Yelp
I'm an international buyer and have found my experience very "meh" Though the wares are of high quality, and reasonable price, the customer service is just confounding. On my order, they did not stock one of the items i bought and sent the package in the mail with 3 other totally unrelated, cheaper cocktail wares instead I'm usually very patient, and I understand that these mistakes do happen, but I had to send multiple emails to grab their attention - was assured that it would be investigated soon - then had to email them again a week later to remind them. future, unrelated attempts to ask questions have only been sarcastic and misleading. To be honest, there's many other places (local or online) with similar wares. I suggest you go elsewhere for your online shopping!

Matthew D.

Yelp
This place has beautiful stuff, really helpful staff and good prices. It's a little confusing to find their showroom. It's not street level, and you go up in the elevator and then through their offices. But once you find it it's great stuff.

Alexandria W.

Yelp
This place is awesome!! They were so helpful, had a great selection and the prices were on point. If you need bar tools this is the ONLY place to get them from.
