The food is amazing! Great authentic taste, large portions and not a lot of fillers. My burrito was full of meat and delicious. My mom had the shrimp quesadilla and it was the same. The drink I had was a mix of a mojito and margarita……. To die for! Service was impressive and the prices were extremely fair. A definite!

This is such a cool spot in downtown Biddo. The interior decor is very cutesy, and the atmosphere is relaxed and inviting. Came on a Friday night with my friend, there’s a few minutes wait time on the tables in the evening so we decided to sit at the bar. It was a great time, we enjoyed the food and drinks which were absolutely delicious. The margaritas are the real deal, my burrito was bomb too. Can’t wait for another visit here.

Google
I’M IN LOVE WITH THE COCO! No but for real the BBQ bowl, the takitos, the elote, the quesadilla etc etc are all BEYOND delicious. We order from here once a week MINIMUM. Do yaself a favor, and go for Coco! Note to Coco: save your radish slices on top of the bowls, other than that, pure perfection 😙🤌

The burritos were gigantic, and everything was really good. Excellent salsa!!❤️

Google
Second time coming to Coco and I've thoroughly enjoyed it both times. Chips and salsa are provided free and are a delicious start to the meal. The horchata is a sweet milky cinnamon drink that I recommend getting. The first time I got the Burrito Biddo (no picture). The second time my husband got the quesadilla birria and I got two tacos: chorizo street and the Coco taco which had coconut shrimp with mango pico and pickled onions. Both meals were served with a tomatillo salsa which was a great addition. The quesadilla had cheese melted on the outside and was filled with birria and it was delicious. The chorizo was the taco I preferred, the Coco was tasty, but a bit sweet with the mango pico and felt like it had a bit too much going on while the chorizo kept it a bit more simple while bringing some spice. The price is great, two soft drinks and two meals before tip was $32. There are more expensive items on the menu and I've heard good things about the dessert. Overall two great experiences and we will keep coming back.

My hubby found this place and we were happy it was open on a Monday. Love the atmosphere, the price and our food was delicious! I had the Pollo Bowl and my husband had the Vegi Tacos. The chips and salsa for the table were! Chips were warm and salsa house made.

Google
Such a great and consistent experience here! Fabulous service, ambience and food. A regular spot in our rotation. Have been with friend and family or gotten takeout. Loco for Coco!!!

Google
What an absolute gem of a find! I've been coming to the area for decades and this was my first time here. As soon as you walk in you see bright colors, Instagram worthy decor and are met by the most friendly staff. Quick seating. Everything on the menu looked amazing. I ordered two Birria tacos and I would recommend them to anyone! Hands down my favorite thing! My son ordered a virgin Pina colada which came out looking like a desert (and thrilled him to no end). The house margaritas didn't sit well with me (too much mix I think). But otherwise an excellent experience.

Yelp
Excellent service and bomb bites. Good bang for the buck. Cute and funky atmosphere. The smothered burritos are TDF.

Yelp
Rating: 4.3 Tried this place for dinner with friends. The place is relatively small but was quickly seated and service was good. I ordered Baja bowl and asada taco. Baja bowl was flavorful with evenly mixed rice, beans, grilled haddock, veggies and cilantros. The asada taco was tasty with tender carne asada and kick from salsa verde and lime. Overall it's a solid Mexican restaurant that is staple around the area. I can see why people come here for Mexican food. It was a good stop for dinner during our trip to Maine. Not necessary good enough to travel all the way to Maine to have it again as I can find similar place near where we live.

Yelp
I approve of this location~ I ordered a margarita and an asada bowl. I liked that I was able to customize it, and I asked for no avocado and sour cream(just a personal preference). It was great! Not too big, and a good portion if you come hungry! The asada was perfect and hit the spot for me~ the margarita was a good size too~ the staff was acoomodating and I appreciate how they ask for ID for alcohol, very responsible. The restaurant was difficult to spot with only one sign, but I was pleasantly surprised and amused by the decor! Pink walls and flowers everywhere with day of the dead holiday decorations and skeletons everywhere ~ just a Mexican holiday that I love due to the color and joy it brings~

Yelp
Welcome to Coco Bar and Grill. In the heart of Biddeford on Adams Street is this cool Mexican restaurant!!! When you step off the sidewalk, you walk down the stairs into the heart of this colorful retreat. Great music, cool atmosphere and great staff. They have table service, a full bar and watch out because there is a ton of takeout coming out of the kitchen. Once seated, chips and salsa come to the table. If you are GF, these are not safe, fried in the same oil as other fried foods. With that said, good salsa, I am not GF I ordered a street taco, fresh fish tacos and their coco taco. I love them all, except the coco taco, it was too sweet for me. We will be back great food, drinks and ambiance.

Benjamin K.

Yelp
All of the food was amazing and the waiter was helpful and so nice. The plating was beautiful!

Kytn E.

Yelp
Coco is a favorite of mine. Lately I've been craving taco's and my 2 FAVORITE are the street taco with steak and guacamole... I have no idea what they season the steak with but it is amazing every time The other is the bbq taco....pulled pork with a bbq sauce and mango salsa The mango salsa and guacamole are always fresh and so scrumptious Eric is picky, he prefers simpler foods so he gets a burrito with Hamburger rice beans cheese. Simple yet delicious and a big portion. Everyone at coco is friendly and welcoming You might regret stopping by because once you've eaten here your gonna want to go often

Michele J.

Yelp
Decided to go out to eat in the heat and found this new place. Love Mexican and decided to try. Lots of take out going on and some seating. Servers were friendly and answered questions. Tacos were very filling and great drinks. I recommend the mojitorita best of both worlds

Ashley W.

Yelp
Possibly the best Mexican food in the area. Service is good. Only compliant... which might be a personal problem... they serve fish dishes.. and you can smell it so strongly it can sometimes make it hard to enjoy. Same smell with take out. That being said, I don't like seafood, so what bothers me, may not others. And I keep on coming back anyway.

Cristal C.

Yelp
Located in downtown Biddeford, Coco is a local favorite! Bright and welcoming aesthetic, offering consistently delicious food & drinks! Some of our dine in & take out favorites are- coconut shrimp, elote, birria tacos/ quesadillas, rice & beans, the burritos are huge & they have the best Horchata! The drinks are great & coco is one of the few places in town you can get a good mojito! Maria was our most recent server, she was friendly & efficient.

Shane L.

Yelp
We sharpen loved this place. The wife and I rolled out to look for some good grub at reasonable prices Ava we got the gold mine here. The decor was authentic Mexican feel with the music going and the servers having some fun. The whole vibe was on point. We ordered the free chips and salsa along with a side of guacamole and it was amazingly delicious it was fresh and vibrant with flavor. We then had our main courses at just over 10 dollars in a carnitas bowl and a veggie bowl that was delicious and great. The carnitas bowl had small pieces of diced mango that took the dish to a whole new level along with Mexican rice and black beans. The churros were divine and warm and crispy with a caramel dipping sauce that I could have spooned into my mouth by itself. Loved it here and will come back very soon. Bank on that one.

Mike S.

Yelp
Incredible service, delicious food, eclectic design, and a great value. We were waited on by at least 3 people during the course of our meal. Highly recommend.

Bill D.

Yelp
Coco is one of our go-to Mexican joints. It's in a great location in downtown Biddeford across from city hall. Their food is always top notch. We ordered a variety of dishes this time; rolled tacos filled with chicken, a fried fish taco, a carnitas bowl (with a smoky sweet guajillo chile sauce). Plus a bunch of crunchy chips. The staff is always kind at pick up. We've never eaten in, but the decor looks great and it seems very comfy. I did mark them down a bit for forgetting our guacamole order, however. That won't stop us from going back though!

Tim S.

Yelp
Look, you don't come to Maine for Mexican food however, one cannot eat Lobstah everyday. This place is a fun quirky and we decided the hassles for parking, the wait for seating, and the overwhelmed servers were worth it. You are going to walk down a flight of stairs into a clean but, hole in the wall place. Don't bother looking for a hostess stand, there isn't one, so if there is a line start queuing up. They will come and get you when there is an opening. The food is good and, even though my burrito wasn't what I expected (you say Chipotle to a guy used to Sonoran Mexican food, you expect a hearty red sauce and earthy flavor), I enjoyed eating it. My bar is pretty high for Mexican, this place cleared it. Would come back

Sam B.

Yelp
Best service and burrito in town Can't beat 12$ for burrito basico Loaded w steak guacamole and the best rice n veggies I seen

Kris G.

Yelp
Mixed feelings about my own rating here. I've been 3 times and have enjoyed most of the food. I've never ordered a cocktail, just beer, but my friends say they're good. Menu is pretty typical of what you might find in other Mexican restaurants, but it's good. The burritos are huge and the sauces are tasty. Some of the accoutrements on the plates are just mwh, but the food itself is good. Biggest issue is the service and wait times. I've been with and without younger kids. It's hard for them to wait, but they liked the tri-colored chips when they found a couple in a basket. Overall, pretty standard. Good for a work lunch or to quench that burrito craving. Haven't found other decent Mexican food in the area, this is better than the rest within a 15 minute drive.

Debbie M.

Yelp
Best Mexican food in the area very resembling priced we eat here very often. Staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. This place looks deceiving from the outside, but once you go into the restaurant and try the foods and cocktails, you will not be disappointed..

Cynthia C.

Yelp
I think the food is really great in this place. Their salsa is delicious and just the right spiciness. I've only been here for lunch. Too bad they aren't on the street or have an outside patio. It is nicely decorated, but I feel like it would have even more business in an above ground location

Jalen R.

Yelp
This is my absolute favorite Mexican place. The whole staff is super nice and very hardworking. Velasco was one of the best waiters I have ever had and he was so hardworking. Salsa and queso are both very good and tortilla chip are great. This place has a ton of great options and has such a great atmosphere. The Buffalo wings are very good but are EXTREMELY spicy!

Noreen M.

Yelp
On my last visit, I wanted to try something new and also was not that hungry. Chips and salsa always good. So, I ordered a mix of the tacos. I was very disappointed. I ordered the Coconut Shrimp, Steak and Pork. They fell apart as soon as I picked them up; the pork one was so greasy, I couldn't finish it. Coconut shrimp was ok, but I'm not a fan of sweet mixed with savory in my tacos. I had walked in about 20 minutes before closing and felt very rushed even though there were other tables still eating. Not sure if I'll go again as Maya Guererro in So. Portland is a Far Better option for authentic Mexican food in this area

Kim O.

Yelp
Interior is bright and booths are comfy. Service seems abrupt, at least 3 different people came to our table. We ordered a couple of beers and sangria which arrived quickly. Food was ok, I had the Biddo Burrito which was supposed to have grilled chicken and chorizo in it along with rice and beans. It arrived smothered, as indicated in the menu with a delightful queso. The burrito itself was fair, innards were warm not hot and it was hard to distinguish between the chorizo and chicken (which appeared to be stewed not grilled). Flavor was salt forward, not spicy. My wife had a bowl that was more rice and beans than anything else. It was a good meal overall but nothing to blow your socks off. It's also pretty loud!

Yelp
Food is always fantastic and comes out fast. the staff is kind and welcoming. Great vibe in here. Couldn't be anything but 5 stars

Jaclyn R.

Yelp
Such a great and consistent experience here! Fabulous service, ambience and food. A regular spot in our rotation. Great for date night, friends gathering or families. Loco for Coco!!!

Erin R.

Yelp
Very cool underground Mexican restaurant. The restaurant offers a cool vibe and authentic Mexican food. Our waiter, Velasco, was so attentive and polite. Margaritas were large and really hit the spot. Chips and salsa were delivered immediately and the waiter kept refilling. I will definitely be back!

Monica A.

Yelp
This place is the real deal. My husband had the burrito tomatillo and it was huge! Not only was it presented beautifully, but it was very flavorful. I had to Carne Asada tacos and the meat was so tender and cooked to perfection. We both were inlove with their salsa verde. If you want some tasty Mexican, this is worth the drive!

Kenneth B.

Yelp
Excellent service and food. The place was full and we got decent service. Everyone loved the food. We had several appetizers, entrees and postres. The only fail was the Tres leches the churros are killer yum

Tim B.

Yelp
Way above average Mexican food in the family owned restaurant. Friendly and attentive service. Pleasant room. The "smothered" burrito was excellent, as was the Baja fish bowl. Presentation of the food was especially nice. Another good reason to come to Biddeford. Would definitely come back.

Cotton S.

Yelp
I come here super often. I used to go more then once a week because I love it so much! My favorite order is the Burrito Basico with steak, and wow they just make great food. The waiters are always very kind and polite, and make special effort to remember you visit to visit. It's super low key and chill inside the restaurant, and has an authentic feel. Worth the money and time! Cocos is the best! Almost forgot to mention how delicious their complimentary chips and salsa is. It's practically worth eating here for their delicious chips and salsa alone. Most places charge up to 7$ for that quality, but it is reliability delicious and free at cocos!

Jim I.

Yelp
New location is great. Server was attentive and friendly. I had a carnitas bowl and it was absolutely delicious. My wife had a burrito, and she loved it. The ambiance was wonderful with Mexican music playing in the background. I was also pleasantly surprised by the delicious margarita. This is a go-to location for Mexican food in the area.

Monica L.

Yelp
As good as their sister restaurant, El Mexicana in Sanford. Happy to have them in Biddeford. The nachos, burritos, kids menu, and service are all great!!!!

Sammy D.

Yelp
I had NO CLUE that I would discover some of the best Mexican food in MAINE of all places! The biddo burrito is beyond amazing, the flavor is perfect. It was HUGE so we split it between 2 people & got some queso with chorizo. Both were BOMB. The service was amazing. Everyone was so attentive, kind, and warm. This was a very welcoming and chill environment. The whole experience was amazing & I literally told our server I'd be back many times for that burrito :-)

George M.

Yelp
So many Mexican joints these days yet they're mostly masters of mediocrity. This one is a step above the rest and after only 4 months seems to be a hit. Loved the subterranean cozy cave feel and the super friendly welcome. I believe the owner served me and a few others at the bar (quieter off hours between lunch & dinner). Their signature huge burrito Al Pastor was packed with juicy marinated pork and minimal rice & bean filler. Salsa was excellent. I wasn't crazy about their premade (but homemade) margarita mix, more sweet than sour for my tastes. And the bar area was a bit sticky, floor and bartop. Otherwise a great new neigborhood addition!

Annie B.

Yelp
The food at Coco can't be beat. The prices are great and the food is delicious. The servers are super nice and always have good recommendations. Highly recommend the shrimp quesadilla and the bbq bowl, but everything we've had there has been really good.

Victoria G.

Yelp
These are my favorite tacos in Biddeford! Generously priced for their high quality prep!

Will V.

Yelp
I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars Ever since moving to Maine I've been depressed due to the lack of good Mexican food. When we discovered a new joint opening down the street in Biddeford we HAD to stop by. Immediately upon entering the vibes are immaculate. You go down a short staircase into a semi narrow hallway with cute decoration and colors. We were promptly greeted and shown to our table. The waitress was cheerful and quickly took our drink orders. I got the mojitarita or somethin and my partner got a watermelon margarita. We ordered and got our food very quickly. I had a burrito. It was huge and pretty cheap! Extremely tasty and honestly presented well. The whole place was "insta-worthy." The best part was the hotsauce. It was a homemade mixture in a clear body and man was it spicy! I've been dying for good flavorful hot sauce. 11/10 we will be regulars for sure

Laur L.

Yelp
This place does not disappoint! Authentic, fresh and de-lish. Located in the historic downtown Biddeford, you walk into a well decorated, underground, bright and fun ambiance. This place makes for the perfect date night. Will be returning for many more margaritas.

Brody J.

Yelp
Not handicap accessible despite ADA laws being on the books for 40 years. Huge set of stairs to get in and didn't show any remorse for not being up to code. Will be filing a formal ADA complaint.

Monica L.

Yelp
Googled Mexican food while shopping in Biddeford and happened to find this place. The atmosphere was cozy and cute. The food was typical of what is usually on a menu. The difference being is that this food was authentically made. The servings were huge and made with fresh ingredients. Drinks were great too.

Lori N.

Yelp
Great food, service and nice chill atmosphere. I had a chicken street taco with salsa & chips and it was delicious! Highly recommend.

Rose S.

Yelp
Admitted Mexican good snob here. From Arizona and in the area for the summer so we were craving Mexican food. Absolutely loved this restaurant. Loved the atmosphere and food. Service was good and so worth any wait. A must try.

Diana M.

Yelp
Food is always spot on. The pulled pork burrito hits as good as the first time every single time. Elote is delicious as well. Ambiance is great, it's a cute little restaurant. Service is always impeccable.

Michael L.

Yelp
Went to the first time here the other day. This is by far one of my favorite Mexican restaurants in the area. I will definitely be coming back again. They have really good burritos, bowls, and tacos.

George B.

Yelp
Excellent food and Margaritas. Attentive service. We have been going to Cocos since it opened and have never been disappointed.

Rina A.

Yelp
Love the unique combinations and variety they offer here. Everything tasted delicious and didn't disappoint. The restaurant aesthetic inside is absoutley adorable and clean. Looks like it was freshly remodeled. I ordered togo and everything was ready within 20min. The hostest was nice during pick up and everything packed up neatly in a bag. Will definitely be coming back!

Ray N.

Yelp
This restaurant over delivers once you get past the first impression when you walk in. Staff is always great and the food is too. Haven't had a bad dish. Definitely the best Mexican in town.

Nancy P.

Yelp
Fun spot & excellent service. I got the coco margarita (I think that's what it's called). It's pretty big & yummy, I'd get it again. The meal starts with warm chips & salsa. The chips are very good & it's difficult to stop eating them. For my entrée, I got the shrimp tacos. VERY good. The shrimp was fried to perfection with great coconut flavor. I would definitely get them again. They lose a star for the atmosphere. It's very cave-like with tacky decorations. Just not my taste but that won't stop me from going again.

Brooke B.

Yelp
I like cocos, it's my go to Mexican spot in the area. The service is always good and the food is reasonably priced and big portions for most meals. I love the taco salad. The decor is really nice for a basement level restaurant and it is bright. Try the Mex on the beach very yummy.

Tim T.

Yelp
Awesome place awesome food. We decided to try this place on a whim just being in the area. So glad we did we will definitely be back. Great service and great food. The Ambiance was bright and cheerful.

Ian W.

Yelp
Coco Bar & Grill opened recently in Biddeford, inside the former Los Tapatios space, across the street from City Hall. This cozy Mexican restaurant and bar is situated in a basement space which has the bar & lounge with seating at the bar and table seating to the right and the main dining room with 10 booths and a table. Please use caution on the steps when entering and exiting the restaurant.  I stopped in here recently and was greeted at the door and promptly seated in a booth. The place was moderately busy. The menu offers traditional Mexican fare, desserts and drinks with fair prices. I was eyeing their crafted taco selection and it sort of reminded me of another popular taco place in Kittery with a similar name. I decided to order one Coco Taco ($5.25 plus tax) and a Chimichanga with Steak ($13.95 plus tax) served with choice of two sides (I chose rice and Caesar salad). The server brought out a complementary small bucket of tri color tortilla chips which were crunchy with mild tomato salsa for dipping. My food came out in about 12 minutes after ordering. The Coco Taco was filled breaded shrimp in a light coconut coating, fried to crisp with mango pinneapple sauce, coleslaw, mango pico, pickled onions, scallions and cilantro. The Chimichanga was deep fried crunchy and folded like a dumpling filled with pieces of soft steak. The server poured some hot queso over the Chimichanga while serving it to me. The rice was standard and the salad had crisp lettuce, Caesar dressing and small tortilla strips on top. I did need a to go box for my food, just like the other diners at the other booths since they give you a lot.  Overall, I found excellent Mexican food in Biddeford. The service was very attentive too. I will be sure to try the birria tacos next time!

Yelp
Discovered a gem hidden away on Adams's street in Biddeford never woukd expect this place woukd be here once you walk in the atmosphere changes into a neon filled Mexican joint with great food and a outstanding bar very very friendly people to say the least, 20/20 woukd recommend
