Coco B's

I decided to go to Coco B's and used the chat option to make my reservation. I soon after received an email confirmation of my reservation with was very convenient. On the day of my reservation, I received a reservation reminder, which I also liked. Upon arriving, we had John as our server, who did an outstanding job taking care of us and making my birthday brunch memorable. I ordered the shrimp rolls, cinnamon rolls, and jerk chicken & waffle. All were so good, but the cinnamon rolls and especially the jerk chicken and waffle, stood out! My guests got the burrito and short ribs & eggs. They all shared that the flavors were on point and left them savoring each bite. If you like taking pics, every turn in this restaurant had picturesque decor and backdrops. I had a mini impromptu photo shoot after our meal. Although we didn't excellence the rooftop or patio, they were so welcoming, fun, and equally well decorated. I will be back, especially when the warm weather returns. If they can get heaters, the outdoor space could thrive in the spring and autumn. Loved this place. I made a great choice! Highly highly recommend 👌🏾!

Celebrated a friends birthday there today. Service was excellent and management and the bartender all helped out to make for a great experience for my group. The guacamole was tasty as was the short rib hash. The vibes were awesome in there and even though my party got a hit loud the staff was extremely patient and willing to take care of all our needs. Drinks were flowing and the mimosas were great as well.

I have been here twice now with friends. To be honest the decor is much better than the drinks. The decor invites you in and makes for a cool Hangout spot different than other bars in Clarendon. Prices are reasonable. However, i have ordered from their cocktail menu and the drinks are definitely well drinks with lower quality alcohol. The bar tenders are always nice though and the music is a great time. We can always easily find seats but it does get busy at night time. Overall, fun bar but the cool decor doesn’t make up for the average drinks.

This place has been on my list to try and it was worth it for sure! First of all…..it was such a vibe. We went right to the rooftop because it was the last warm day before it cools down. It just made you feel like you were somewhere else for a minute. The bar staff was super chill and cool! They also had a bomb, very diverse playlist too. My friend and I shared the food. It was happy hour and we got the boardwalk fries, the lollipop jerk wings and the jerk chicken Caesar wrap. Everything for me was a 10/10. To drink we had whiskey/ginger ale and rum/coke. Oh! Can’t forget the funnel cake! It was such a good time and I’m gonna be back real soon!

Went here with the girls today. We had a great time! Service was impeccable. Everyone was smiling and was very accommodating. Shoutout to John (from Michigan lol) who kept on checking on us and made sure we had everything that we needed. The manager, Jared, was very nice as well and even greeted us at the door. We will definitely come back to try the brunch menu. 💕

I came here for brunch, the decor was aesthetically pleasing, it’s a very cute spot. Our server John was very friendly & made sure we had a lovely experience. I got the oxtail hash, it was pretty flavorful & a decent amount of food. They also have bottomless mimosas which start at $20 & cost 25 cents after. I’d recommend this place for a quick brunch spot!

Had a great time at my 1st karaoke night there. The DJ created great vibes, and the Frose and Margaritas were delicious. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I will definitely return soon!

This place has everything! The drinks were absolutely delicious. The food was very good and not the same ole Arlington cuisine. Oh waiter John did a great job and was very attentive to our needs. I will absolutely be back again. We sat in the outdoor patio area which was super cute. The rooftop bar was bumpin and had a great vibe.

Did Saturday brunch at Coco B's and it was absolutely one of my favorite brunches in the entire DC area! The restaurant itself was very cool, turned what used to be whitlow's into a super nice vibe. Started with the guacamole and yucca fries for apps, both were awesome and a very sizeable portion size on the guac which was nice. Our group had several different meals including the breakfast burrito, avocado toast, hangover burger, and breakfast platter - we were all raving about each of our dishes, so good! The service was also amazing and brought all our items quickly and nailed every meal with any customizations we had requested. And we did the bottomless mimosas for $20 and they had a bunch of different fun flavors for us to get, and the staff was super on top of the refills, taking care of us whenever we were getting low/empty! Definitely will be back to this new spot, especially when the weather warms up and the roof opens! Can't wait!

First time coming here. First impression: terrible parking places because if you can't street park, there's a parking near by for $7/hr. The street parking is $2/hr. First look at the restaurant, it is super cute with vibrant colors and decors. - Coconut shrimp is my favorite. It is just the right amount of seasoning for both the sauce and the shrimp. Shrimp was super crispy and fresh. - Jerk chicken and waffle: waffle is not crispy and it's soft, jerk chicken is okay. Not bad but also not outstanding. - We like the salad though. It have mangoes and avocado and also heart of palm which makes it fresh. - The guac is with yucca chips I believe. The chips delicious but the guac is a little sour to me. Service amazing though. They check on us every 30 minutes to make sure we are doing good and did not need anything. Over all, if you are near, you should come and. give this place a try.

I hadn't heard of Coco B's before but ended up there for a Meet and Greet. It was cute on the inside and had a designated bar area and tables for dining in at the front. There was also a decent sized area off to the side for the meet and greet. There was another bar and space for dancing. There were probably about 100 or more of us in the area so it was a little tight in places but it wasn't too bad. I wanted to place an order for the jerk sushi and a drink but the service at both bars was very slow so unfortunately, I didn't get anything. Otherwise, I had a good experience, I just wish the music wasn't so loud because it was hard to mingle and hear the other people there. Coco B's was decorate nicely and I can see the appeal but there is room for improvement. It wasn't overly crowded in the main area but there was a nice vibe. There's street parking available and I'm happy I found a parking spot right across the street. I would stop in for drinks and bites when I'm in the area again.

Great spot with inside downstairs and rooftop upstairs seating both areas with bars. Service was great food was delicious and drinks were tropical tasting(which was a good thing). The chill vibe in this space was very inviting the rooftop is beautiful the music was on point. There is limited pay parking on street and there's a parking garage right around the corner. They offer Happy Hour specials too.

The rooftop is a cute little vibe for drinks and sushi after work, but the sushi and yuca fries were the best thing we had food wise. Didn't love the chicken tacos or the nachos. They do have a dj on Friday and Saturdays which might be worth checking out too.

We did Friday girls' night at Coco B's and had the best time! There were a couple areas of improvement, but I still gave 4 stars because the customer service was amazing! John was our server and he was attentive, gave recommendations, and answered our menu questions. The manager also came to check in a few times. As far as food, we got the jerk wings, oxtail patties, Jamaican sushi, ceviche, shrimp al ajillo, and rib. I think as a whole, i'd say the food was a 6/10. The food took a while to come out, and then it came out cold. The wings seemed like they could have used more seasoning, but were cooked perfectly. The jamaican sushi was missing something. It lacked flavor. Ceviche and short rib were pretty good. My favorite bite of the night was hands down the oxtail patties. 10/10! It's definitely not your traditional "jamaican patty" but it was really good. The drinks were pretty good too. We had the aku aku sunset, dac-dac-doc, rock the boat, and a special made mocktail. John's special shots were also tasty! All of the drinks are pretty sweet and tropical. The restaurant is very cute and makes you feel like you're in Miami or on an island somewhere. Even the restroom was matching the pink/island vibe. I'd definitely visit again based on the customer service, the drinks, and the oxtail patties!

Tried this place out for a few drinks and apps with friends on a Friday night. The place was pretty empty both inside and on the rooftop. I am sure the weather played a factor. The prices on the food and drink were reasonable. It is worth mentioning that there are two different menus for the rooftop and the inside section of the restaurant. We started out at the inside section of the restaurant and then checked out the rooftop since their menu looked a lot better.The drink that I got was not good at all. It tasted very watered down. The jerk taco was good, it was just missing something that I couldn't put my finger on. I tasted a hush puppy which was served with a honey butter and that was amazing!

Food was very underwhelming. It came out cold after waiting too long and they weren't packed. It was very bland. Our server didn't come back we had to hunt them down. The drinks were good though. And it is a cute Instagram worthy place and try it seem laid back but maybe a bit too laid back atmosphere.

Came for a happy hour with friends on a cool evening this fall to celebrate a friend's birthday. The drink menu was extensive and perfectly festive -- in line with the tiki vibe. The outdoor patio is so inviting and fun. Pink isn't really my thing, but this place pulls it off with grace and style. The waitstaff was attentive and helpful-- always checking in to be sure our drink orders were met. Management was super friendly and went out of their way to make our experience memorable. During happy hour we tried the Mac and cheese, guac and yucca fries. All were tasty and perfect for sharing with our large group. Would absolutely recommend for an after work happy hour or an evening out for dinner and drinks! Great new addition to the Clarendon neighborhood!

I came here once last month to go to the rooftop bar and it was a ton of fun! Such cute decor and vibes. Today, we were nearby and hungry so I wanted to come back to try the brunch. Service was good and food came out quick. We ordered the coconut shrimp and yucca fries for appetizers and for entrees we ordered the oxtail hash and short rib and eggs. Our server John was really nice and friendly, he gets 5 stars alone!

I recently went to Coco B's for brunch and had an average experience. The venue was empty and the service was still slow. The menu was also limited but the drinks were decent. Servers were very friendly but often had long waits for drinks and other requests.

Unfortunately, I have to give this review because of the poor service and management. Seems like the customer is always wrong here. Try somewhere else.

The food and ambiance may have an identity crisis. The food and drinks were ok with nothing to write home about. The service was good with no complaints there.

I came here on a Sat. night for my friends bday, we had a great time! It's so cute, the chic island/tiki theme was perfect for pics. The service was amazing! Everyone from the bartender/server, managers and DJ made sure my friend felt special and that we were happy with everything. We started with a few bites & drinks- loved the coconut shrimp and island mac & cheese. The drinks were good even when we asked for some alcohol free. Of course we had dessert, the key lime pie was yummy. It's a huge space so after dinner we went to the other bar with DJ and dancing, so much fun. I will definitely be back again. I also want to check out their brunch and enjoy the patio & rooftop on warm days.

No wonder this place is always dead! Their chicknen wings were dry and flavorless and very little fries in the serving. Service was decent but they didnt have any hot sauce. The Ambiance is pretty but dead sadly. I will not be returning.

Just came here to talk about the most delicious macaroni I've had in a long time. It was so cheesy and creamy. I was recommended some shrimp to be served with it by the kind staff and it was amazing. The drinks are always great and they have great music when the DJ is there. Highly recommend this as a cute hang out spot with your friends or a date.

The place is beautiful and staff are super friendly and the drinks & food is delicious. The staff was so accommodating and makes your birthday celebration feel extra special. The laid back atmosphere from the indoor dinning to the outdoor rooftop is amazing!

It's alright. Not the best food that I have had. Service was okay, wished they were a little more enthusiastic. The ambiance is overall cute and girly. I like the pink theme that they have going on.

Yikes is all I can say. Dead on a beautiful Saturday evening. Non-existent service and manager was so rude. Food was hot but flavorless. I heard only poor things about this place and unfortunately, Clarendon, this is not the bar we were excited for (actually no one was excited for this place LOL)

Food was everything! Our server (who was also the bartender which was kind of weird) was really nice and knowledgeable about the dishes even though the establishment was fairly new. We sat on the back patio which gave Miami vibes. The rooftop didn't have as much seating as we would have liked and was pretty bland in terms of decor compared to inside of the restaurant and patio seating. Overall would definitely come back just to eat, might have to stick with shots if we drink though, as the mixed drinks seemed watered down with barely any alcohol.

Coco B's is super cute! I loved the Barbie/pink/girly vibes! It's definitely Instagram worthy. The vibes reminded me of Miami. I remember when this place used to be called Whitlows on Wilson and B Live. I went here for brunch today and ordered the breakfast burrito. It was pretty good. Our server was generally attentive. My only complaint is that the music was extremely loud. I could barely hear my friend that was sitting across from me. We had to yell to hear each other. Also this place doesn't accept cash. Credit card or Apple Pay only. Overall I'll probably return in the near future.

The extremely rude "security guard" (if you can even call her that) refused to let my friends and I enter because we had a doggy bag from the restaurant where we had dinner. There were 6 of us that would have had a couple rounds of drinks.

The food was surprisingly good! Nice Caribbean influenced food and warm vibes. Huge shoutout to our server John, with the great service but took his time to answer all of our menu questions in greatest detail. 5/5

The food was SO delicious! Our waiter even comped us a drink for waiting long, but it really wasn't that long of a wait for the food. The portions were also perfect; my friend and I shared the mac n cheese, jerk wings, and yuca fries. The seasoning of everything was absolutely amazing and my friend and I literally said "Wow" after each and every bite. The drinks also were very good, and we'll definitely be coming back for Happy Hour because the deal is too good to pass up. 10/10, definitely recommend!
