Coco-Mat Athens Jumelle

Beautiful little hotel. Really quirky, so modern and exceptionally staff. The rooms were beautiful, soft cosy robes and the comfiest bed. Nice touch with a complimentary bag of soft drinks. They are very keen on eco friendly and this is highlighted through the hotel, brilliant. |The rooftop bar was beautiful, breakfast was plentiful and a lovely varied selection. The staff again couldn't do enough and we're so friendly and attentive. Couldn't fault this hotel and we would without a doubt return and recommend

The location is very convenient and close to 2 different metro stations. Syntagma square is just 5 minutes on foot. The staff is very friendly and the housekeeping takes cleanliness very seriously, everything is tidy and clean all day long. The breakfast is also very fulfilling and high quality. Overall I had a great stay at Jumelle and I am looking forward to staying here again.

Can’t say enough good things about this hotel! The staff were incredibly polite, attentive, and always eager to help. They even made excellent dinner recommendations that we really enjoyed. The only reason I gave four stars for the room is because there weren’t electrical outlets on both sides of the bed, and there was no closet for storage. However, the overall charm of the hotel and its beautiful location more than made up for it. We absolutely loved our stay!

We had a wonderful stay. The room was quiet and comfortable, with excellent AC and one of the best showers we’ve had while traveling. Breakfast was a highlight, featuring fresh-pressed orange juice, eggs made to order, and honeycomb. Everything felt clean, modern, and welcoming. The only issue wasn’t with the hotel itself but with Apple Maps. There are two Coco-Mat properties located just a few hundred meters apart: Coco-Mat Hotel Athens and Coco-Mat Hotel Jumelle. Unfortunately, Apple Maps mislabels Jumelle at the Athens location, which caused some confusion on arrival. Once we sorted it out, the stay was perfect. Would definitely recommend and would happily return.

Great launching pad to explore the city. Rooms were clean and the staff was extremely helpful (shoutout Paolo). The neighborhood has a lot of character if you wanted to escape the busy streets or the more touristy areas. The breakfast was good and the bar underrated for getting drinks before going out of the night.

We spent a few nights here during our winter trip to Athens. The hotel sits just off a busy central street, about a 20-minute walk from Plaka/old town. ||Our room had an unusual layout: a corridor with separate toilet, basin and shower, leading into the sleeping area and balcony. The bed was excellent – soft mattress, good linen and pillows. Amenities included quality toiletries, kettle/coffee maker, slippers and robes.||The property is split across two interconnected buildings with quirky design touches everywhere. It’s attractive, but the maze of passages and lifts can be confusing at first.||Facilities: a small gym and a modest spa with loungers, a tiny pool and a steam room (robes and towels provided). Pleasant but clearly sized for fewer guests than the hotel holds.||Breakfast was the weakest point for us. The dining room is cramped, seating is limited. Food selection is fairly standard – cereals, cold cuts, cheese, bread, fruit, pastries, yogurt and juices – with eggs cooked to order. Nothing bad, just uninspiring.||Overall: stylish design, comfortable beds and decent facilities, but noise and breakfast crowds may disappoint if you value a relaxed morning.

Absolutely lovely small boutique hotel in the middle of Athens. Super friendly staff and excellent breakfast. The rooms are small but well and smartly equipped, with very comfy beds.

At first, we were disappointed to find that the rooftop restaurant, bar, and pool were closed, and we thought this would significantly impact our stay. However, the quality of the service, the friendliness of the staff, and the hotel’s fantastic location more than made up for it. The hotel is just a five-minute walk from the Acropolis and the Acropolis Museum—literally a stone's throw away. Being right in the heart of Athens made it the perfect base for exploring the city without needing taxis. We could step out of the hotel and dive straight into everything Athens had to offer. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning to explore Athens. We were able to visit all the main archaeological sites, wander through Plaka and the Old Town, and enjoy plenty of excellent food—all on foot. It had everything we needed for a memorable and convenient stay. 4 star on rooms because they are more a boutique small space style. A great use of space but small. This wasn't an issue for us however. It's just the nature of this style of hotel.
