COCO-MAT Hotel Athens

This hotel is truly impeccable, from its outstanding service and cleanliness to its perfect location. Situated in a lovely neighbourhood, it offers great local recommendations, all of which were spot on. I spent considerable time researching before choosing this place, and from the moment I arrived and stepped into my room, I knew I had made the right choice. Everything, from the comfortable bed to the delicious breakfast, exceeded my expectations and felt well beyond its price. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Athens and will gladly stay here again on my next trip. A heartfelt thank you to all the staff for making my stay so enjoyable and seamless. We stayed at Coco Mat Athens, post our cruise with Virgin Voyages. On arrival the front door was opened for us and we we're welcomed, where our cases we're taken from us, and we're taken straight to our room and we we're guided to check in. Vladyslava on reception was so friendly and helpful towards us, informing us of everything, to be honest we have not experienced service quite like it. The waiters and waitress's in the breakfast we're also very accommodating. ||The rooms we're very modern and the beds so comfy and everything was spotless. Robes and slippers we're provided adding to the luxury feel. The rooftop area overlooking Athens was brilliant and you can also see the Acropolis, which just ended the day nicely with a beer from the bar.||The location is ideal for exploring Athens with the closest Metro station a 5 minute walk away. However for 1 night you don't really need to leave the area where the hotel is as there are some lovely restaurants and bars just outside the door.||On leaving they arranged a taxi for us, and placed our cases in the taxi, just top notch service.||We would not hesitate at all to stay here again and look forward to coming back||Lewis

This hotel is in a CocoMats store which is an odd experience. I definitely recommend Coco Mat Athens BC. It’s an upscale regular hotel in a great location.||In this hotel you always feel that you are walking through a linen department. The rooms are nice, the staff is good but the experience is strange. The breakfast is in the basement. The neighborhood is upscale and a good 30 minute walk from the historical area.

Coco-Mat Kolonaki was an excellent base for our business travels in Athens. The rooms are beautifully designed and kept immaculate by housekeeping. The location is ideal, with many wonderful restaurants within walking distance.||A special mention goes to the lovely Sophia at the front desk, who truly embodies outstanding hospitality. Always welcoming us with warmth and a radiant smile, she was ready with helpful local information and thoughtful advice. Nothing was ever too much trouble.||Overall, our stay at Coco-Mat confirmed it as a marvellous central choice for both business and leisure travellers.

What a unique and wonderful stay in this lovely little hotel!||The hotel is part of the Coco Mat bedding specialist brand and when we arrived at midnight, had to walk through a bedding shop to go downstairs to the lobby…..fun!||The reception has someone there 24/7, which is so helpful and reassuring and the staff are delightful. Attentive, kind and nothing is too much for them to enaure your utmost comfort. We had a slight problem with the air-conditioning on our arrival and the young man at reception came up and worked away until he found a short term resolution to our problem.||Well located and in a calm, safe neighborhood, the hotel itself is quiet, comfortable, modern and well thought out.||Delicious buffet breakfast downstairs in the morning and if you’re game, you can load up your tray and take it up to the roof terrace which has a gorgeous view over Athens and the Acropolis. Recommended!||The beds and pillows are beyond comfortable and you can purchase them in the shop downstairs. Excellent night’s sleep guaranteed.||We will not hesitate to stay in this hotel again and look forward to our next visit.||Efcharisto team Coco Mat Athens!

Great hotel! Stayed there for 2 nights with my boyfriend and we really enjoyed our stay. We got the room with internal view, which has a view of a brick wall, but we figured spending more money to have a nice view when we would be spending no time in the room was useless. The room was perfect, very clean and spacious, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the hotel is located in a nice neighborhood. Our breakfast was also included in the price which was nice, and the rooftop terrace is great. Staff was very nice and helpful. While it may be a bit pricier than some other hotels in the city (we spent 372€ for the 2 nights), I think it was totally worth it!

We only stayed one night at the COCO-MAT and wished we could have stayed longer! I’ve never slept in a more comfortable bed and would love if their mattresses shipped to Australia. You’re also able to select the perfect pillow for your sleeping style and body composition ahead of your stay. The traditional Greek breakfast was fresh and delicious, and we were able to choose how our eggs were cooked. We also liked how they provided a large glass bottle of water at breakfast. The staff helped with our luggage and were very attentive, and we valued the hotel’s inclusive and authentic ethos. Highly recommend.
