Land and Sea Dept. Taps Industry Veteran to Lead Cherry Circle Room | Eater Chicago

"The downtown Tuscan restaurant appointed an executive chef from Milan who is reworking the fall menu with classic Italian preparations, including agnolotti ai funghi (bufala ricotta and wild mushroom–filled dumpling with herbed brown butter and crispy pancetta)." - Ashok Selvam

Google
Not a fancy restaurant, recommended by the hotel when I asked for a not super fancy one. The food was good and the service and the staff were great. I was stuffed after the salad and pasta. Here the salad is probably too much for one person.

Google
Average level of italian resturant. I would like to highlight the sea bass. It was delicious! Waitress super funny and kind!

Google
Great casual restaurant not far from most hotels in the city center. My coworker and I shared a salad, a pasta dish and a pizza and it was the perfect amount of food. We even had wine and I had a dessert for ~€80

Google
So good that we went back twice. The pizza is freshly made and really “juicy”. The milano risotto is the best we tried in the 3 days in Milan. Steak is equally good too.

Google
,Good Italian food , good people at a very central location at normal prices

Google
The restaurant was recommended at our hotel for local fare so we seized the opportunity to try Milanese risotto. In my view it’s a very subtle dish, not too exciting but when in Rome (or Milan). Ordered apple pie for dessert which wasn’t particularly traditional but it satisfied a craving (somewhat given the small portion)

Google
The tordelli were amazing! We go to this restaurant for all of the great food but the tordelli are a must every time. They taste just like the ones my mother made - they are the real deal

Google
We had the Gnocchi and Rigatoni, which were perfect. We liked the atmosphere, kind service and the food was delicious. *The price range matches two starters, two pizzas and a bottle of water.

Yelp
Decent meal for a decent price. Don't forget to check for the specials - I had a red wine and sausage risotto from the specials list, and I have to say, sometimes I wake up thinking about that meal. It was that good. Good looking, friendly staff. Highly recommended!

Yelp
You can have the best food in the world but when your service is shit it will not help you. Waiting for food more then an hour and half no apology no one talking yo you greeting upset at you even asking. Not even a glass of water. The food is ok not crazy but service minus 0!!!!

Yelp
Americanized Tourist food. "Safe" choice if you're worried about trying Italian foods. Very friendly staff. Clean. Fast service.

Yelp
Price is average. Seafood lover, not many choice for seafood, but the potato that we ordered was tasty and crispy. Service is good Outdoor seating is available too. Great selection of appetizers.

Yelp
Coco pazzo is near the Duomo in the chic high fashion district of Milano There are two places 1- an outside simple cafe 2- a nice bright restaurant behind the cafe The decor is very white and cheery BUT someone needs to dim the lights for dinner It is amazing how lighting effects dinner to me. If a place is upscale the dimmed lights make the ambiance so much better. If the ambiance was better I may have given this restaurant 5 stars The service is good The food was very good The wine list was reasonable with a nice selection of Italian wines The burratta Pomodoro was delicious but the balsamic was too watery The bread had a perfect chewy crust and flavor The swordfish with Sicilan caper sauce was very nice The veal scaloppine with porcini mushrooms was fantastic A very good restaurant

Yelp
A nice quiet restaurant with some good seafood options. Based on other Yelpers we came here and we were not disappointed. We tried their bruschetta for appetizer followed by a chicken Caesar salad for the wife and I had sea bass. The Caesar was nothing to write home about but she wasn't that hungry. However, the fish came whole and the waiter asked if I wanted it filleted. He did a great job of taking it apart and presenting it on a dish with scalloped fried potatoes. Fish was tender and tasty. For dessert I had spotted a cannoli on the way in and it happened to be the last which meant was coming to me. It was very tasty and a great way to finish the meal along with a cappuccino. Service was normal, waiter wasn't too talkative, very straight to the point, but that's how it is here in Europe I find.

Yelp
Too bad, all italian can make pizza, but this one not. Pizza with sausage and mushroom: mushrooms where clearly from the can as the pizza was soaked wet. Skip the pizzas here

Yelp
This place was our least favorite of our trip. The service was on par with what you expect in Europe. We had to get the waiters attention and he didn't really offer any additional service beyond placing our order. Not bad service, but nothing over the top. Their parppadelle pasta was over cooked, and the sauce tasted as though it was from a can; they also served it with what looked like Kraft Parmesan cheese. The salad my husband ordered had canned tuna on top. Normally, we look for places that do not cater to tourists, but the hotel recommended this place and it was nearby. They also tried to overcharge us. Luckily, we noticed the error before paying the bill. They do have a decent selection of wines, and while we did not try them, the desserts looked good.

Yelp
Very elegant place. All in white. Mix of modern and cozy atmosphere. Close to the Dom. However as in the second row majority of the guest were locals. Almost no tourists. Excellent food: ham, cheese, burrata and some local specialities. Dolce was perfect as well. Service with Italian perfection. Real recommendation!

Yelp
Perfect for a casual light dinner after walking the streets of Milano. Order the Carpaccio to start. Reasonably priced. For those who like to eat dinner from 6-7:30pm They are open all day so you don't have to wait until 8 or 9 to eat dinner. Bon appetito!

Yelp
First review in English! This restaurant had a very warm and comfortable feel. A few of the waiters spoke English, so that saved me from embarrassing myself with "Ciao! Mi dispiace. Non capisco. Inglese?". I ordered a pellegrino and a rigatoni with tuscani sausage, onion and sheep cheese. Before the meal they gave me a basket of bread along with olive oil, balsamic and black pepper. Bread was alright but I was disappointed with the balsamic. It was watery, which I thought only Americans would buy such a low quality balsamic (or can they even be considered balsamic?). The pasta, however, was fantastic! The sauce was a mixture of super tender and sweet onions, some fresh tomato paste, basil and sheep cheese. The creamy and tasteful sauce along with the al dente rigatoni (boiled for 10 min?) was a wonderful dish. The bill did not include a table service fee (coperto), which I was very pleased to see as I saw the coperto fee as a substitute to tipping, but I like the practice of tipping (capitalism please)! Most importantly, I was not bothered at all during my meal, but whenever I need help a small wave would do the trick. I will check out their outdoor store next time after I dine with them. Ciao!

Yelp
We didn't have reservations. It was raining and cold so we just picked the nearest restaurant. Luckily we found this place. The service was great..they sat us down and even let us stay beyond the closing hours. Food was decent but the friendliness and atmosphere made it tasted better.

Yelp
We stumbled upon this restaurant while walking around. Just wanted a light snack. The minestrone soup was quite good and the wine was also very nice. Very fairly priced, too. Looked like a very local crowd; not filled with tourists.

Yelp
I didn't have many choices on a Monday night and was glad this place was open. Although my waiter didn't seem super enthusiastic upon greeting me he was fine afterwards. I had the farro salad with capers- delish, then spaghetti with tomato and mussels which was perfectly cooked and the tiramisu which was very good. Good solid restaurant.

Yelp
It's near Duomo but not too close and therefore not too touristy. Most of the time we are in town we go there, lunch or dinner you can never go wrong. The service is excellent and everything from Pizza to steak is amazing. Even the soups. I LOVE IT! Forgot to say it is Tuscan cuisine.

Jean-Paul W.

Yelp
Nice restaurant with fair prices, both lunch and dinner. Mostly Italian food, but also Angus burger for US citizens. ;-) The desserts are very good.

Steve S.

Yelp
Very good! Wide selection. Enjoyed the grilled salmon and fresh vegetables. Surprised to hear US Country music playing.

Artemis M.

Yelp
We tasted many different pizzas and they didn't have fresh mozzarella, they were full of oil and the bread was not nice

Martina S.

Yelp
Wonderful meal! Perfect meat! And very good price for everything! The tiramisu for dessert was perfect!
