Cocolini expansion to Planet Hollywood | Eater Vegas

"A popular gelato counter operated by the Four Eagles Group that began in The Venetian's St. Mark's Square, offering 48 flavors of Italian gelato developed under the supervision of Chef Luciano Pellegrini (formerly of Valentino). The concept is relocating about one mile up the Strip into a purpose-built kiosk outside Planet Hollywood Resort near the property's north entrance by Gordon Ramsay Burger; the new outpost will carry a similar roster of gelato and add coffee roasted in Florence. No estimated opening date has been announced and the project has not yet reached the construction phase." - Bradley Martin

Not sure why this place got such a low rating. I ordered two scoops (one pomegranate one blackberry). Both were great. Granted they were not top of the world amazing but met my expectation for a sorbet type of dessert.

I really wanted to like this place, but it was a letdown from start to finish. The ice cream looked beautiful, but the taste was bland and overly sweet — definitely not worth the price. Portions were small, and the texture was more icy than creamy. On top of that, the staff seemed rushed and uninterested, barely acknowledged us. With so many dessert options in Vegas, I’d recommend skipping this one. Not coming back.

Everything on the menu is terrible. I ordered 3 pastries and the first two really pissed me off and I was so excited for the third item I ordered which was crepes and of course I was disappointed!!!! Bananas and strawberries were not ripe they were moldy!!! Never again. Nothing is fresh here. Save your stomach and your health! I even tipped the cashier but later found out, she was just being overly nice for a tip! Her whole demeanor and attitude changed after I did. I’m headed to the hospital because I’m sick to my stomach!

Amazing! This hazelnut-flavored one is 10 out of 10, one of the most delicious ice creams I’ve ever eaten. ❤️

Great icecream. It’s was a little soft. We had strawberry cheese cake and birthday cake icecream

They do not give samples. I was going to buy one but I wanted to try 2 flavors first to decide since I’ve never had NON fruit flavored gelato before. But she would not let me try so how am I supposed to know? Weird for an ice cream shop not to give out samples atleast with paper spoons or something. Past both locations and was told this

Very sweet ice cream. I got the pistachio flavor. It was so artificial tasting, not very impressive. For the price of 10$ (8 ish plus tip) per scoop, I’m expecting better and more authentic taste. The waffle cone is good, not freshly made or anything. All and all wasn’t unhappy or happy with it. It was ok. Great location tho.

Cocolini offers a decent ice cream experience, but it falls short in a few areas. The prices are quite steep for the quality of ice cream you get, which is average at best. While the flavors are okay, they don’t justify the high cost. However, the location at The Venetian is fantastic and adds a charming touch to the experience. It’s a convenient stop if you’re already in the area, but don’t go out of your way for it.
