Anything that has a line like they do, has to be good! They did not disappoint.
I got a Tamarindo drink, patacones & Pollo con rice & beans. Service was fairly quick considering the crowded restaurant, staff was friendly. Food yummy & delicious.
Prices fair. Would totally come back and try some of their other dishes.

Absolute recommendation, we’ve already been there twice and the food was fantastic. We had the red snapper once and the sea bass, both were incredibly delicious. Prices are absolutely fair, and the staff is very friendly.

The food was YUMMY! Pollo Caribeño is a must! The chicke was so tender it fell off the bone and melted in your mouth. Th sauce, I wanted to lick my plate. I dont know what the dressing was on the salad, but it was heavenly!

If you see a line out the door for this place, it’s for good reason! Generous portions, good tasting food, reasonable prices. I recommend the rice and beans with fresh snapper. The chicken was good too.

Our last night in Puerta Viejo and had to come back once more for the Caribbean Shrimp. The home made hot sauce is also delicious!

This is the best Caribbean food in the whole country! Cocomar consistently puts out the best version of the local cuisine you will find in Puerto Viejo. Their chicken in Caribbean sauce with rice and beans is incredible, their ceviche is so fresh and delicious. Don't miss this place, it's my favorite local restaurant in Puerto Viejo!
