While slightly unconventional, it’s also a great place to meet someone—specifically someone purchasing vegetables. "These days, no one really cares that much about organic tomatoes at the Coconut Grove Farmers market. They’re here for clout. They show up in $200 Lululemon sets to turn The Hummus Guy into a viral moment. It’s a genuinely great farmers market, but it’s also overflowing with UM students and aspiring DJs swirling Navi’s iced matcha lattes with pistachio date cold foam. Green drink in one hand, elusive breakfast burrito from Adrian’s in the other, and suddenly you’re the most enviable person under the blue-striped tent—until Caro shows up with her Bernadoodle. "The Coconut Grove Farmers Market works just as great for sitting down and eating breakfast as it does for buying lion’s mane mushrooms. Get a cold brew from Bruce’s Brews, followed by an outstanding breakfast burrito from Adrian’s West Coast Burritos. They have a couple of picnic tables off to the side where you can eat and photosynthesize. If those burritos are sold out when you arrive, they also have lunch options like pupusas, falafel wraps, and lentil samosas.
