Yelp
I really, really wanted to love this place, but it fell a bit short from what I was hoping for.

Pros:
It's a BIPOC-owned coffee & boba shop with a cool concept of vegan waffles/pancakes and their vegan mylk cloud creation. The branding is awesome, the interior is beautiful with lots of photo-worthy spots, and the people who work there are always very kind, knowledgeable, and have good energy.
Cons:
On the other hand, the drink and food I ordered were sadly underwhelming. I say sadly because again, I was really excited to try them.
I got the Lake Monster drink, which is a lemonade-style drink with butterfly pea powder and coconut jellies. It's described as sweet and tart, but I found the drink itself watery, with only a little lemon flavor. The coconut jellies were good, though.
Then, I got the Cloudberry Waffle Sticks, which are made with their own vegan waffle mix and a homemade vegan "mylk cloud" that is designed to resemble cream cheese. It's also topped with strawberry jam and some edible gold glitter. Pretty, but a bit disappointing. The waffles didn't have much flavor with an odd aftertaste, and the vegan mylk cloud was a bit too salty for me and lacked a similarly to cream cheese.

I've done my fair share of vegan baking, so it know it can be tough, but I just feel like the food and drink I got missed the mark quite a bit.
Again, awesome concept, branding, people, and pretty food items, but the flavor really wasn't on point for me.
