The 17 Best Restaurants in Ashland, Oregon | Eater Portland

"Originally based at the Green Springs Inn & Cabins near the Cascade-Siskiyou National Monument, Cocorico has moved into town, steps away from the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. Here, horn-shaped campanelle arrive alongside pickled cauliflower and confit cherry tomatoes, roast chicken comes with both kumquat marmalade and peri peri, and the house burger is made with Umpqua Valley lamb. The restaurant’s particularly nice braised lamb gets a floral touch from rose harissa, sitting on a bed of polenta." - Susanne Robertson

The appetizer was just the right size and it was nice and light. The main dish was excellent, although the portion was on the larger side. Would have liked to try some dessert, but I was too full by then. The cookbooks are fun to browse.

UPDATE: As a local, we value is that their menu changes with each season. They have staple dishes of course, but they add new and different versions of their appetizers, salads, and of course they offer daily specials. And their service continues to be stellar. I also realize that I did not mention wines in my past review. We have found that their wine selection is also quite good, and the staff is great at helping to pair the wines with our dishes. Lastly, I was surprised that Cocorico does not have at least a 4.9 if not a 5.0 collective review. I read some of the negative reviews. Know that all of them are from years ago when they were just opening and finding their feet. They have definitely found their feet! This is one of a few restaurants in Ashland that deserves to be considered outstanding and charge the prices they do. ****** We love Cocorico! We’ve been going there since the day it opened, and even before that when it was at the Green Springs Lodge. The service here is fantastic. The food always creative and tasteful — excellent all around! You'll need a reservation. The place is hoppin'!

Google
Where do I start. The service was amazing. Ben, who has been working in the same location for 25 years (2yrs at Cocorico) was super knowledgeable and very friendly. We happened to get “the best table” in the restaurant. Come for the service, stay for the food. The olives, the deviled eggs, and the Caprese salad started us off great. We ended up with three entrees because why not. Steelhead takes the cake. Speaking of cake our dessert was crème brûlée, which was also amazing. If you come to Ashland. Make sure to come to Cocorico.

Google
Awesome small local eatery with amazing food options. Recommend reservations as it books up quick, we got lucky for open bar seating as soon as it opened. Ordered 3 meals and split family style. Fresh flowers and beautiful outdoor seating. Worth it!

Google
Absolutely blown away by this restaurant. The chef is from France and culinary school trained in France. The dishes exceeded my expectations. Duck confit was fall off the bone delicious as it should be. My husband was estatic about his bone in ribeye. The mousse tasted just like the chocolate m ousse I had in France last summer. I would like to think this would be a place that Anthony Bourdain would rave about. I will definitely return and try other dishes but ill be daydreaming about the duck confit for a while. Cocktails were great, too.

Hench A.

Google
We had the deviled eggs (mid), octopus (over cooked and not worth $24 for one small piece), and garlic bread (good!) Our cocktails were delicious. We had the duck and really enjoyed it, but the lamb was a bit bland. (I had to salt it, and I never have to salt food) Our server and service was great. Next time in Ashland we'll try MAS. 4 stars based on duck and service, otherwise 3.

Jim F.

Google
We attended before seeing a show. The service was very welcoming and attentive from the moment we entered. We enjoyed the grilled octopus as an appetizer. The halibut was flaky and flavorful. My husband enjoyed the spaghetti carbonara. We shared a peach tart that was excellent.

Google
Coco Rico is hands-down one of the best places to eat in Ashland. The food is fresh, flavorful, and made with real care—every dish feels like a hit. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the service is consistently friendly and attentive without being pushy. It’s the kind of place where you feel welcome the second you walk in and leave already planning your next visit. If you want a meal that actually delivers, Coco Rico is the spot. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Gayle and I enjoyed a fabulous meal last Thursday evening at Cocorico. This space housed the former Amuse restaurant for years, before Cocorico took over a few years ago. Cocorico describes itself as festive European-style eatery serving modern Neo-Rustic Mediterranean cuisine by Chef Nat Borsi. Gayle and I had a great time for what we both remember as a perfect cozy date night. Everything in our experience ran on all cylinders starting with a friendly greeting and ushering us to our table. Our deeply experienced wait guy was friendly, engaging, and insightful. Our table was comfortable and at a window. We also appreciated the thank you as we left for the evening. Gayle ordered Trout as her main, while I opted for the Carbonara. For the appetizer table, we ordered Garlic Bread, Asparagus, and Mussels. All choices were rich, delicious, well presented, served promptly, and a good value for the money. The adult beverages for the evening were a Bombay Sapphire Martini (up) and Chardonnay for Gayle and Sparking Water and a nice Oregon Rose for me. We continued on by sharing a really tasty chocolate-heavy dessert and a pot of Noble coffee. With respect to the former New Sammy's Cowboy Bistro, this might be one of the best meals that Gayle and I have enjoyed in the Ashland area over the years. We haven't tried MÄS yet, but that more expensive opportunity can wait until after we visit Cocorico again (and hopefully soon).

Yelp
99% certain this is the best restaurant in Ashland OR. UNBELIEVABLE French food done with fresh Oregon produce is a combo that's hard to beat. They're putting out whatever is fresh in the season and sourcing everything locally. We got the pork chop which was crazy and the peach cobbler desert tasted like they had the peaches grown out back. Also service was

Yelp
The food was so incredible! Our waiter Ben, was amazing, making suggestions from the menu. You can tell that the owners pay attention to details. The ambience on the patio was perfect. I highly recommend it. It was my favorite place to eat in Ashland!
google avatar

Emily B.

Yelp
Amazing service, amazing food, amazing ambiance. Highly recommend this gem in Ashland. The burrata was a star, as was the garlic bread and mushroom bolognese. Can't wait to come back!!
google avatar

Yelp
Last night, my husband told our excellent server that the dinner experience was one of the best he's enjoyed in a restaurant in several years. We deeply appreciated the corner booth location and the very delicious meal. As a non-beef eater, he loved loved LOVED the mushroom bolognese and I truly enjoyed the summer pasta special, too. Super friendly server and host...we will be back!

Yelp
Lovely atmosphere and inventive menu items! We had a terrific dinner here. We started with cocktails, which were very well done: dynamic and tasty. They lasted the whole night, so find an interesting one to keep you company through the meal. I recommend the Oaxacan Old Fashioned. Excellent presentation on the dishes. The rich and creamy burrata starter came out accompanied by spiced apple bits and candied nuts. Really got the palate going. My main was a goat cheese stuffed steelhead wrapped in grape leaves (fish special). Super interesting and yummy. The grape leaves were crisped, so each bite had a crunch to it as you made your way through the fish and then got hit with the saltiness of the goat cheese. Terrific! 5 star dish. We also got the chickpea tagine, which was lacking seasoning and not the best. The halloumi in the dish was the best part--maybe I'm just cheese-crazed? Atmosphere on the patio was fantastic. Flaming space heaters keep you cozy and cast a romantic glow on the whole affair. Cocorico is definitely worth a go!

Yelp
Love, love, love this place. Never a bad meal and the hostess is so incredibly welcoming, even when you're waiting outside in weather! Def a place to share plates bc you'll want to try lots of things.
google avatar

Yelp
Another 5 star trip. This place has the best service and food in town hands down. Porkchop special was to die for.

Yelp
During a recent trip to Ashland, I decided to check out Cocorico before an evening show at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. It's walking distance from the theaters, and I was happy I could get a table without a reservation during a popular weekday evening. The service was friendly though there was a delay in getting my entree. However, my cocktail arrived relatively quickly and I thought their version of the Last Word was expertly made. I had the lamb burger for dinner, and the meat was tender with a tasty mix of flavors. They offer indoor and outdoor seating, and I liked the cozy feel of my table inside the restaurant.

Yelp
I'm still cuckoo for Cocorico and they are really hitting their stride after being in business just a few years. I can't say enough about the warm and welcoming environment from checking in at the front door to our last bite of pistachio tiramisu. If you are lucky enough to have Meg as your server, just follow ALL of her recommendations. The back patio is my favorite space and it is now fully enclosed and has a riot of plants between the tables. You have to order a specialty cocktail and the Monte Cassino didn't disappoint. We started with deviled eggs (how retro and one of their classic dishes) and our party ordered all over the menu. Seafood, pasta, chickpea tagine, and of course the (not on the menu) garlic bread with grated parmesan cheese. Warm, delightful, delicious, and the best service in town. Make a reservation!

Michelle B.

Yelp
Tried Cocorico last night for the first time and it did not disappoint! The food was some of the best I've had in Ashland. The service was impeccable, with each member of the staff being so accommodating. The music and decor/lighting in the dining room are perfect for a date night or dinner with friends. I'll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend this place!
google avatar

Alexa G.

Yelp
Great food and service! We sat on the covered patio in the back. Everyone loved their meals. I would definitely come back.

Jacqueline T.

Yelp
Server Meg is as sweet and knowledgeable as they come. The food is amazing. We will be back!

Victoria D.

Yelp
Such a delicious dinner. It has a very intimate and cozy vibe and we really enjoyed our time for dinner here. Our warm olives were full of flavor and just so delicious. The octopus was tender and the burrata was good too. My only qualm with the burrata was I wasn't in love with it being served with cooked apples. It was almost too bland for me. The carbonara and mushroom bolognese were made with homemade pasta that was absolutely delicious and cooked perfectly. The spaghetti for the carbonara was almost more like angel hair but it didn't really bother me. The crème brûlée was also creamy and fabulous. Our server was very attentive as was the rest of the staff. Would absolutely come back!

Yelp
When my classmates wanted to meet up for our graduation dinner, I suggest here without hesitation! I had the most amazing meal last year and I knew this would be the special place to go to! I immediately made reservations, which I highly recommend. I asked for the patio because I didn't get a chance to see it last year, and it did not disappoint! I started with the clams, OMG, sooooo good! Soooooo many! That broth was delicious and the grilled bread for dunking....MMMMMmmmmmm! I had the lamb shank for dinner! Oh so tender! Oh so gooooood! Came with a creamy polenta! For dessert, I had the marionberry pie with ice cream. The pie was tart which the ice cream complimented with its sweetness! Another amazing meal! Everyone else was please with their choices! The staff is always so friendly! And it was cool that the manager, Grace, remembered who I was from last year! Cocorico will always have a special place in my heart. If you need somewhere special to eat, this is the place!

Steve G.

Yelp
The host of the VRBO where we stayed recommended Cocorico as one of the best restaurants in Ashland. My wife and I heartily agree. It features a great combination of fine food, service and ambiance, starting with the wonderful hostess Grace's greetings. The restaurant is divided into several smallish rooms, which adds to the atmosphere and helps keep it pretty quiet. It's a creative menu. We had a great salad and peppers as appetizers, following by a large lamb shank (with harissa and hints of preserved lemons) and trout (with feta and grape leaves). I'd seen one or two comments about the dishes being on the small side. I'd say the opposite: Both the appetizer and main helpings were quite substantial. We sat the in the back, semi-open but covered courtyard, nicely set up and decorated to make the most of the space. The tables were spaciously spaced apart from each other. Plus there was a large, pretty planter between us and a neighboring couple, adding to a sense of privacy. All in all, very highly recommended. Though there are lots of good restaurants in Ashland, we'll definitely head back to Cocorico on our next visit!

Mary H.

Yelp
If you want a truly lovely dining experience from reservation to dessert this is the place. I was contacted by staff when a heat wave began and offered an indoor reservation! Beyond thoughtful. We arrived with such warm welcome by the Host. A lovely table by the window to people watch while we sipped great cocktails. The food is just amazing.. my husband had the stuffed trout and I had the roast chicken. So delicious, hot in temperature and the portions were ample! My husband had apricot gelato for dessert ( I was too full). Staff were great and mindful of our play tickets for timing. We were not rushed. I wish we lived closer I would eat here often!

Yelp
Consistently delicious, service attentive, and easy to book. The staff was attentive to knowing we had a theatre performance and graciously accommodated us.

Yelp
Elegant dining well worth coming to dine at where the atmosphere is great and food much, much better

Robert K.

Yelp
This is a really cute restaurant with a great atmosphere and vibe. We started with martini's which were extremely well made. For food we started with the deviled eggs and the watermelon + feta salad. Both were excellent. For our main course my wife had the octopus and I had the roasted chicken. Again both were excellent. The service was excellent and the entire staff were extremely pleasant. This was a great find as we were traveling thourgh Ashland. It will be our go to place!

Natasha R.

Yelp
Had the carbonara and the lamb shank. Good but nothing particularly memorable. Everything was well cooked, very tender lamb. Lamb mostly tasted like the meat itself with only slight flavoring on the sauce. Carbonara was very mild though that's to be expected of the dish. Solid restaurant but nothing so delicious that I'd come back instead of trying someplace new.

Christine G.

Yelp
Fantastic food and great service. The menu is seasonal and makes great use of local produce. The standout dish for us was a terrific "Caprese" salad Appetizer. Everything we ordered was delicious. Entree servings are quite large. We didn't have reservations but managed to score seats at the bar in the beautiful patio. I wish I had photographed the patio to post photos because the current photos don't reflect how lovely this restaurant is. I cant wait to return!

Gilda B.

Yelp
Ambiance and service were excellent, but the biggest star was the food. We shared two starters, including beet salad and watermelon w/feta salad (with pistachios in honey sauce), and everything delighted. The main was homemade pasta with three types of wild mushrooms, and it was so tasty! Definitely a place to which we will return.
google avatar

Mariah V.

Yelp
The server was nice. The entry way was a wreck. 4 people walked past me and said "hi" without helping me. There's was no "someone will be right with you" "have you been helped". Just "hi". It was lame and awkward. The food was meh. I got the steak and it came with a mushroom cream sauce that really ruined the plate (and I love mushrooms. It tasted like canned mushroom soup). My husband got the spaghetti and meatballs. I didn't try it but he said it had a weird aftertaste. We got two cocktails which were just OK. We got the deviled eggs (husbands idea) and they were not great. The atmosphere was cool but the entryway was truly horrendous with a weird curtain and stacked books on a makeshift host desk. Made no sense to make that the face of your restaurant. Not worth the money. Waste of a date night. Luckily the company was good.

Catherine B.

Yelp
I had made my reservation a month in advance and received the reminder the day w. Started off bad. Hostess has trouble finding my reservation. Asked me 3 times before I spelled it out for her. She seated us in " the fish bowl window room" I asked if we could have another table inside. She said the restaurant was mapped out for the night and this was inside! Why, when she saw I had a cane, did not immediately say let me find you another table on the main floor. I said " fine" and hobbled up the steps. Then she came up to the table after I was seated and said "I can put you at another table, I want to make sure that you are happy. " The food is delicious and the wait staff are spot on. I will return but I will make sure I am not seated where I was placed tonight

Joanna B.

Yelp
Couldn't get reservations to the restaurant we planned, but I'm so glad we ended up here instead! The host and our server were super friendly, my carbonara (atypical from the traditional with cream and onions added) was one of the best I've had. And the chocolate mousse was perfectly rich and not too sweet! We will absolutely recommend this place to friends traveling to Ashland. Wish we could come back tonight!

Yelp
One of the best restaurants in Ashland and Medford. They pair flavor and quality ingredients. The braised lamp reminds me of some Morocco flavors with Harissa and preserved lemon that sets this dish on fire. It cuts through the dark and savory meet and jus. The halibut special had perfect crispy skin and flaked apart. I also loved the smoked sardine frisee salad. The smoky and salty brine of sardines and olive croutons is perfect with the black berry's and citrus vinaigrette.

Linda H.

Yelp
Merci Cocorico!!! Our family had a dinner to remember last night. Chef Nat & his wife Grace are magicians creating an experience to remember. My French Canadian mother has the Duck Confit special & she raved about how well prepared it was (and she would know...) The pasta bolognese was all homemade & perfect. My husband had the Halibut special & he went quiet eating which is a very good sign!:) Great wine list & deserts. They improved the lighting & ambience for a more intimate atmosphere. Our server was top notch. 20 Stars!

Yelp
Cocorico has to be one of my favorite restaurants in Ashland. Seriously, Ashland continues to surprise me with so many great restaurants. Here's what I ordered: -House Salad -Garlic Bread -Grilled Octopus -Braised Lamb -Carbonara I would, in a heartbeat, order everything again. Given that the house salad had a buttermilk ranch dressing, it didn't feel as heavy. My absolute favorite was the grilled octopus with the charred skin gave it an extra crunch and the oyster mushroom cream with lentils was absolutely delectable. Beware bread lovers, their garlic bread was simply irresistible. I nearly ordered 2 orders of the bread. It was so especially paired with their extra creamy carbonara. Talk about a carb overload. As for their braised lamb, what can I say it was so tender that it fell right off the bone and the polenta was simply chef's kiss. Given the amount of food I ordered, I too was surprised that I ordered dessert. The marionberry pie was nice and warm and served with their house vanilla ice cream. But I did personally like their cheesecake more and I'm such a sucker for the crust. As far as the ambience, it's a very quaint little place. But the hostess was nice enough to provide patrons blankets for those seating outside to keep warm as the heaters may have not been strong enough to keep folks warm. Nevertheless I definitely will be raving about Cocorico to my colleagues and friends if ever they make their way to Ashland.

Yelp
If there was an option for 10 stars I wouldn't hesitate to give it. WOW. First, we were met at the host stand by the front of house staff (who we came to find out is the Chef's wife!) She was very friendly and chose to walk us through the restaurant's different rooms to choose our favorite table. We eat out a lot ranging from Taco Bell to Fine Dining and I've never had that experience ‍ We chose the completely heated and covered patio. It was perfectly decorated and we made friends with the couple who we were seated next to. Once sat, in their very busy restaurant, we were greeted by another member of the staff - quickly followed by our waiter. Our waiter and his service and attention somehow topped the taste and quality of the food and flavors we had from appetizer, through dinner, and dessert. He was fantastic, not nosy or hovering, but helpful, knowledgeable, and genuinely excited about the food and place of business. The food... Again, WOW. The Burrata appetizer with apples and chili crisp was simple, and made for an amazing mix in both texture and taste. The appetizers were so good, we ordered 3 entrees. Mushroom Bolognese (added meatballs as recommended by our waiter) , The Carbonara, and the Lamb Shank. All of them were above my expectations - especially considering the price. All entrees were between $24-$35ish. Not small portions at all, and each had very high quality ingredients. Overall, this is our new favorite spot after one visit. My ONLY regret is not remembering the name of our waiter so that I could request to be sat in his section again next time. Awesome experience and I highly recommend this place to anyone willing to spend extra money on a well-earned tip by the end of the night.

Anne S.

Yelp
What a great place! The food was outstanding - fresh, inventive and clearly housemate pasta! The cocktail was delicious. The hospitality was as special as the food. I was a table for one, but they were as welcoming as possible. It truly seemed that the hostess was welcoming me to her own home. She offered me the choice of tables and sent the waiter right over to take my drink order. Every person I interacted with was friendly and seemed glad I was there. I can't wait to return.

Yelp
For an upscale meal in Ashland, this is a good place to go. It's not that small but it's very cramped in the inside, so much so that if you arrive before they're ready to seat you, you have to wait outside. (There's a bench.) I'd recommend making your reservation for the back patio, which is slightly more spacious, and is enclosed and even on a cool evening was adequately warm. I didn't need to keep my jacket on. You do really, really need a reservation. Make it online (there's no phone) and be prepared for a barrage of text messages asking you to confirm. They really don't want no-shows. As anyone who knows me would have guessed, I ordered the lamb shank - it was in fact to get this that I decided to eat here. Ah, it was a fine shank, big and juicy with plenty of meat but not dry. Putting it on a bed of polenta that the gravy got into was also a really good idea. Starting with a caesar salad (full-leaf romaine, so use your knife) and finishing up with a dry but rich chocolate mousse also very good. My waitress was Meg, who kept a constant eye on all of the tables in her care and didn't let any of us go neglected or overlooked. It was a pleasure to watch her doing her job so well.

Yelp
Based on the website, I was a little concerned that the ambiance would be too rowdy for what I was in the mood for, and I was even more concerned when my husband and I were seated at a two-top right next to the front door inside the smaller room immediately to the left of the entrance. However, I was pleasantly surprised with a cozy and intimate dining experience. It was lively but not rowdy, and the service was impeccable! The wine selection was robust, so my husband wanted to get a bottle. But the French Gimlet had caught my eye, so I convinced him to get the Bourbon Renewal. Both cocktails were delightful. I am a sucker for deviled eggs, so I had to order them! Any opportunity in which someone else does all the hard work to prepare a deviled egg, right!? The deviled eggs were presented on a bed of salt and vinegar kettle chips was a unique addition which elevated some rather ordinary deviled eggs. On to the entrees! My husband let me have a couple bites of his braised lamb which just melted in my mouth and had a lovely flavor to the meat. I opted for the Carbonara which was so rich and decadent; I was ready for a nightcap and bed after that meal. I didn't even have room for dessert. Cocorico was great for a casual yet upscale date night. The aesthetic and service fostered a cozy, casual yet upscale date night experience.

Yelp
Excellent dinner, ambiance and serving staff. This was our first time at Cocorico and it was perfect. Cozy atmosphere and attentive staff. The food was tasty too! Tried a new cocktail Paper Plane yum! Check it out at Cocorico!

Yelp
The ambiance, cocktails, and delightful dishes make this restaurant our #1 choice in Ashland. The service team provides an elevated but fun experience. Did I mention their amazing cocktails? They are generous and refined. My new favorite may be their empress gin aviation! Beautiful and delicious. I loved the many gluten free options, including garlic bread! We had the beet salad, watermelon salad, and lamb shank. I can't wait to return!

Yelp
Amazing chef and wine list. Great ambience and service. Also right in the center of of Ashland.

James T.

Yelp
Excellent cozy restaurant with a very attentive and collaborative staff. Pork chop special was amazing as was the mushroom buccatini. The dessert menu was excellent but the pairing suggestions were off the charts. We shared the marionberry pie with vanilla ice cream which was quite tasty but the pairing with a 10 year tawny port from Kopke took it to another level. The wine list was carefully chosen and diversely complemented the menu. We chose the Tenuta di Gracciano Vin Nobile which masterfully complemented both our dishes. Prices were appropriate for the quality. We will return!

Yelp
WHAT A FIND! My daughter took me out to dinner here tonight any everything was better than the last. We were warmly greeted and made to feel like family right away. Our server was very knowledgeable about the wine list and helped direct my daughter to exactly the right champagne for our taste and to pair with our dinner. I don't really drink, but it was so yummy, I did end up having a second glass. I ordered a salad for dinner as I wanted something lighter, but I ended up indulging in the appetizers, they were just irresistible! So scrumptious. I also had (more than) a few bits of my daughters carbonara, devilishly divine. I got talked into dessert and I'm sorry I even thought about saying no. I fought for the last bite, too good! Can't wait to go back. I forgot to get my servers name, but he was fantastic, as was the rest of the staff.

Yelp
Impeccable service, delicious flavours in all of the offerings, intimate setting, lovely patio in the back. Nestled in beautiful Ashland will definitely go back.

Yelp
I can't add much to what was already been said. This is one amazing restaurant...an Ashland gem! OMG...it's simply top shelf. We'll be back!!

Yelp
Cocorico is by far my current favorite spot in Ashland whenever I visit town. I'm honestly kicking myself that I didn't find out about them sooner but their cute, unassuming building off Main Street flew under my radar for at least a year before I finally found them. Whenever I go, I order their to-die for garlic bread and inhale every bit of it with its light garlic flavor and shaved parmesan. Other than that, I have not ordered the same thing twice and every time I have tried something, the flavors have been wonderful to a point that I continue to come back. I do also believe the portions are a generous size for the level of quality I am getting and always leave sated. Service has always been knowledgeable and understanding to me being solo and usually working on my laptop when I sit down for dinner. This restaurant is definitely one of those places I resist writing a review because of how much I enjoy their food, but they really do deserve the recognition.

Yu F.

Yelp
This is my favorite local restaurant! I'm never disappointed every time I visit! I would just suggest that the chef changes the menu every couple of months to make it even more perfect!

Yelp
Delicious food. Great ambiance. Wonderful staff. Such a treat. Please place a reservation immediately. You will not regret it

Yelp
Service was amazing! The hostess and server were astoundingly friendly and the overall environment and ambiance were delightful. Food was great and it was a very memorable trip for my family and I. Would definitely come again!

Yelp
If I could give 6 stars, I would! Three of us had a delightful dinner at Cocorico in June 2025. GREAT food, service, and ambience. Imaginative menu, fresh ingredients. Welcoming and knowledgeable staff. Perfect! We live in Portland, Oregon, which is known as a food town, and Cocorico is right up there with the best we have ecperienced in Portland.

Brenna N.

Yelp
Loved this place! My boyfriend and I went here for the first time a couple days ago to celebrate our 1 year and watch some plays in the area :) We got there early and got to sit at the little corner window and it was so cute, September was amazing with our table! Highly recommend the octopus, it was so tender and paired with a lovely romesco sauce! We shared the salmon and tagine mains and it was more than enough for two people. Would definitely recommend this place, amazing flavor and you feel like you're at home/friends fun dinner party!

Yelp
I've yet to be disappointed by Yelp's crowdsourcing. This restaurant has 5 stars, and well deserved. I arrived early, and since alone, I offered to sit at the bar, but the host and owner seated me at a nice spot in their covered outdoor area. The atmosphere was perfect on a warm spring day they still had a couple propane torches lit. I'm from Portland, and was recently in Italy, so it's difficult to impress me, but I was. From their homemade bread, artisan herbed cheeses, and homemade pasta, everything was amazing. I had the spaghetti and meatballs. The owner is from southern France and was told the meatballs were a family recipe of beef, veal, and Pork. So delicious! I highly recommend Cocorico.
