Ameenah is one of the most friendly bartender I have met! Truly made the experience at the beach club amazing. would recommend!!

After we were told we could sit anywhere we were provided with the wrong menu for food. You can keep a tab open for drinks but not for food. Weird. They also did not have some things in the menu. The sauce that came with the empanadas was amazing! Really low vibe!

Great place, you never know what celebrities may pop up! I've seen fetty WAP I've seen salt and pepper and I've seen j holiday. Holiday did a live proformance. Sit wherever you like. The food truck provides tasty meals. Live dj at night.

Stopped by late Saturday afternoon to check out the vibe. The music was pumping and everyone was having a good time. It wasn't too busy as the beach was gorgeous. I can see this being a fun spot for happy hour!

Could be a cool place but the service is very slow to none also false advertising got hookah for $25 wanted a refill which the flyer says $15 for but they charged me another $25 I spoke with someone who seemed to be running things and he said the flyer was old but it was multiple flyers still around on top of that they didn't have anything that was on the food flyer besides burgers ... I'll continue to patronize ballys beach bar for sure

This was a great bar to go to when it was Chelsea Beach bar. I am dead set against the service fee they added to my bill. I was insulted. I always tip. I was there at the time of a day when it was normally busy in the past. Instead there was only four people at the bar. I also found out that the servers do not get all of that service fee. I will not be going back to this beach bar. The music playing seem to cater to one group of people. It was loud and obnoxious music and in a language I do not understand. I noticed two other beach bars jammed packed. I will not be going back there. Come to find out that the servers get 40 percent of the service fee.

We absolutely love this place !!!! They have taken such good care of us 2 years in a row now when we have come here for a family member's birthday. The staff here is amazing and have made our time here so special. The dj was fantastic and played every request we asked for. Also the food truck there is great and they gave my grandma a free cupcake for her bday:) Couldn't have made better memories here. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We love you guys❤️

Got invited to hang out for a friends birthday on a Sunday evening, the music was okay, at first when I arrived it was a mixture of old and new school songs, then after 9 it was Latin music. The drinks were good, we ordered bottle service and some finger foods. The food was not good at all, it was basically frozen foods that they deep fried, no flavor. I would go back just for music, drinks and vibe but I would suggest eating before you go.

The only thing good about this spot would be the ocean breeze. The hookah was overpriced, had to be paid beforehand (including tip!), and we had to pay almost an extra 10 dollars for the hookah. The apple flavor was flavorless and seemed like we were inhaling charcoal. No one asked how we were doing even tho there was a total of 5 customers. Would not recommend!

food was mid and over priced. service was even worse. ordered a Caesar salad for $18 and got the opposite with no dressing. went back for dressing and was asked why.

Stopped into this cool beach bar based on the dancehall/reggae eminating towards the boardwalk on a Monday night. Boardwalk is packed so it was nice that this place had a fair amount of people but chill. Very easy to social distance. Can watch the waves crashing on the beach. I really enjoyed my drink at this place and listening to great music.

We were halfway down the ramp from the boardwalk to the beach bar when I saw the low Yelp ratings. Thankfully we trekked onward and had a really pleasant experience. Not sure how the Chelsea Beach Bar is at night, but it was a great spot for day drinking. Beach views, comfy couches for lounging and tropical drinks is a perfect combo for me. We went with the "fresh squeezed" lemonade and vodka. The lemonade was poured from a container and most definitely didn't taste fresh squeezed. The drink is offered with a double shot of vodka and I can confirm we received healthy pours. The drink came to $12, which is totally reasonable for a double shot at a beach bar. The DJ was spinning during our visit and played to the crowd. It was a really fun scene! They also had hookah offerings. I'm really glad we continued down the path and were able to have an enjoyable beach bar experience.

$16 for a strawberry daiquiri with half a shot of alcohol in it? It would have been more profitable to buy the $20 4 hour umbrella rental than this drink that made me more sober than I was before I drank it.

horrible food. way over priced. crowd, DJ, music overly loud and doesn't abide by noise ordinances, closing time etc. DO NOT patrinize

Love this beach bar. The fresh squeezed vodka lemonades are delicious. Why drink in a casino when you can drink with music and an ocean view? Came on a drizzly day and there was a happening day party. Came again for the lemonades and even on a slower day, it's beautiful and fun.

They're nice but it was so hot that we couldn't enjoy our time lol. They're pretty much located on the beach which is cool. Their hookah is $5 cheaper than bungalow beach. Their food and drinks are reasonably priced. Great place to go especially if you wanna switch things up.

i turned 21 in may & i have a new york ID. my ID wouldn't scan, neither would my friends because they're so new. This man didn't let us in even though we were clearly 21 and tried to take our IDs! If you're from NY this ain't the place for you.

0 STARS. Trashy bar with a trashy owner. Bartenders are slow, but nice. The owner/manager on the other hand does not care about patrons. If you're a woman, don't go alone. My gf was sexually assaulted and when we defended ourselves, the owner basically said that her outfit (which was a swimsuit because its a BEACH bar) invited the assault on her. Police were called and things will be handled. We were told by locals to avoid this place, but being out of town we wanted to try ourselves. Please avoid at all costs and don't give someone with these morals your money.

Terrible service. $12 for a weak drink. All single use plastic. Undercooked cheese fries.

Recently taken over by tropicana.. New decor.. New amenities.. New pool side bar and grill.. 21 and over only.. smoking allowed.. the scene is cool the crowd is good. Weekends it's a bit wild.. but fun . New spot to check out

This was probably one of worst beach bars I've been to. Manager Steve was arogant and not very customer friendly. Asked him why he didn't buy us back a drink after spending several hundred dollars there. Was told that is his policy I could always go to another bar on beach. Service was poor but it wasn't fault of staff the way manager runs the place. He must have a godfather somewhere I would fire him in a week.

We loved the atmosphere of this beach bar. We came in around 4ish to get a quick drink and chill. We love the shaded outdoor couches, and there is plenty of sitting room for small or larger groups like the one I went with. We were given 20% off coupons on the boardwalk, and that's why we decided to go...because otherwise the prices were STEEP. The mixed drinks were expensive, and my friends said they couldn't taste any alcohol ( I stuck with beer) in them. Their advertised alcoholic lemonade tasted "like watered down lemonade" according to the friends of mine that ordered it...and it was $14 for a 12oz cup of it. The high prices for weak drinks are why I'm only giving them 3 stars. They have a DJ, a dancer, drinks, and hookah. The workers were all very friendly (and beautiful lol), and efficient, but do not go here expecting to get a cheap buzz.

Go to Bungalow if looking for a nice experience in AC on the beach. The food, drinks, and service is an afterthought at Chelsea Beach Bar. Could be a great place with an appropriate level of investment and management, but not worth it now.

Hands down the worst service I've ever encountered. Sat at a near-empty bar while the bartender spent a solid 15 minutes flirting with a group of guys and pouring exactly zero drinks. When we came back up about 15 minutes later to get a second round and tab out, she was doing the same. Took another 10 minutes for her to come down and tab us out. Only reason we were walking to the bar as opposed to waitress service at our table is bc staff was more interested in dancing with other staff members to the horrible tunes the DJ was playing than actually bringing drinks. It was so bad we were laughing as we left. Too bad as it is the closest beach bar to my place and it was never this bad in the past. With so many options on the AC boardwalk, stay away from this place. *Only reason I selected one star is bc Yelp won't let me selected zero - which is what Chelsea Beach Bar deserves.

i would give this bar a 0 star if i could. the bouncer at this bar completely destroyed my id by snapping it in half claiming it was a fake id. i am 23 years old, i had other forms of id on me and he refused to give me back my valid id. i then had to call the cops 3 times in order to get my now broken id back. while i was waiting for the cops to arrive, the same bouncer destroyed another guests id who stepped outside for a few minutes and tried to get back into the bar. This person was 29 years old, had already been inside the bar, paid to be in the VIP section and bought his table a bottle, but the bouncer refused to let him in and give him his id back. i have to now go to the DMV to replace my id because of this employee and the management did absolutely nothing about this. I have never been so disrespected and experienced such terrible service from a business. I would HIGHLY recommend not going anywhere near this place.

A great place to grab a drink while taking a break from the beach. Yummy margaritas. Clean bathrooms (but no electrical outlets to use your breast pump )

2 stars for being on beach and water, the owner Dominik hasn't put a penny into the places EVER. Poorly maintained deck looks like shit. Over priced warm beer. I asked for another that cold and the girl very nice said the beer cooler doesn't work well. She and others have complained to owner to no avail. $40 there's better options.

The employees at this bar are extremely discriminatory and rude. They destroyed my friend's ID for absolutely no reason and accused her of having a fake ID when it was obviously real. Police were called, who were also no help. Our whole group of 10 people were then asked to leave. Absolutely ridiculous. Will never spend my money here and absolutely would not recommend this bar for anyone. Do not waste your money here

Me and my husband have stayed here a few times and we keep coming back! SUPER comfy beds (kind of want to take the whole mattress home), SUPER clean, and the crowd is ranging anywhere from like 25-40ish. We usually hang out at the Tropicana which is right next door so it's convient to just walk and keep our car parked the whole time. We've only been to the roof pool once but my dirty banana was delicious!!

Open all day and night, hospitality on point. Drinks on point. Great time, Julie helped me feel so at home

If you're in the AC area please stop by the Chelsea Beach Bar. "Julie " my new favorite bar tender makes the best rum buckets! Bottom line... good music+good food+good drinks=a great time :-) ! If you order food the customer service is not up to par with the bar. Totally messed up a five star review. Bad customer service, nonchalant servers that don't give a $&@" about you or your order. Chelsea HR just let the bar tenders take food orders.... matter of fact eat before you come seriously or spend your money elsewhere :-/

Terrible experience. They blast techno music in the middle of the day and refused to turn it down. My salad was served with no silverware, the pizza was served on a paper plate and had a paper plate over it. The cheese was all stuck to the top plate. It took the waitress 20 minutes to come back with silverware. It's a shame because it could be a really nice spot.

We had the best time and excellent service from our waitress shea she checked on us every 10 min and made sure we were comfortable and having a good time 5/26/18

Chelsea beach bar was lame. No real beer and bad music. If you want a good beach bar try balleys good food and good beer.

Sad place, dirty couches and the drinks are flat with zero alcohol. The music was too loud and just didn't have the nice vibes that one should get while sitting in a beach bar. This waiter was filling shots in a syringe while she was coughing all over it! Gosh!! And then she went around asking people if they wanted the shots from that syringe! I guess if you're fully drunk then it doesn't matter, but me and my boyfriend were sober to not notice lol!! Very unhygienic! Not my kind of beach bar, sorry!

We went to the Chelsie Beach Bar a year ago and liked it. Returned today and did not have the same experience. On the positive side, music was lively with plenty of dancing. On the negative side, we found a table for 2. Waited for a server but no one came. Went up to the bar to get our drinks. Not a big selection of beers. Asked for a mojito. It was $13.00. Not even sure if there was any liquor in it. Much rather go to the beach bar near Bally's

I have been to this bar a couple times and am always very pleased with the atmosphere and the people who go there. There are two bartenders who I constantly hope are working, kelsey and haven. They are both very attentive and efficient with their service. Last time I was at this bar there was a gentlemen I have never seen before named mike. I asked if he had been there long because he didn't really seem to know what he was doing if if he was aware that he was at work for that matter. I myself work as a drug counselor to help people who are battling addiction so I think I can speak openly about the fact that he should be in my office. He forgot to make my friends drink THREE times and then we he finally gave my friend a drink it wasn't even close to what he had initially ordered. Pretty sad to say the least. From my experience I would say it is definitely a pill addiction due to him constantly itching himself while talking to me and other patrons at the bar which made me very uncomfortable. Most likely Percocet or Xanax. Maybe next time I will leave him my business card instead of a tip so he can seek some help and properly do his job. Not a bad place to hang out, just a bad bartender.
