Very good quality food, it's an impressive feat to be this consistent over a long period of time. Great customer service and wonderfule restaurant ambiance. But it comes a price for sure, I've always come prepared to spend at the upper limits of what I'm willing to pay for sushi. Servings are very large for the price but it's refined, really well executed food. Overall, 4 stars.

We love this Japanese restaurant in Pacific Avenue. Good food and friendly service. Must try if you haven’t yet.

We drove pretty far across town to eat here because of the reviews and because they were open late. We ate inside the restaurant. The atmosphere was okay but extremely loud! We shared a few appetizers. The karage chicken was okay, but needed a sauce. We were charged $2 for aioli, which tasted bad. We didn't eat it. We also tried the spicy mayo $1 which was much better. The mixed tempura were average. The fried pork belly had more Brussel sprouts than pork. We had high hopes for it, but it was our least favorite dish. I would skip it. The winner of the night were the spicy chicken wings. They were amazing! Nice and hot and the skin was crispy even with sauce on it. I would go back just for the wings. In hindsight, we should have ordered some sushi. I personally would not come back because there are plenty of other restaurants to try. But if you go to Cocoro, definitely try the wings!!

Talk about a variety of beautifully plated perfectly made food. Beef wrapped asparagus..simple and delicious. We kept the menu through out ordering as we went along. Our server was pleasant and helpful. A must try in Stockton. 8/7/23 I’ve been back more than a handful of times over the years. Order something new every time, Always pleasantly pleased. 2024 So… they’ve add a Chicken Katsu sando to the menu. Scrumptious. You have to try it!! 6/10/2025 Celebrating my Daughter in law’s birthday on a Tuesday night. Party of 15. We love CoCo❤️ro so we had planned what we each wanted to order. To our surprise they did not have the dish. Yes 3 of us were going to all order the same thing.. Beef wrapped Asparagus. 😉 Waiter apologized, was patient and helpful throughout the dinner. We ordered salad, wings, soft shell crab, two types of ramen, teriyaki steak, potstickers, sashimi, the spicy red dragon, the oh wow, and four other types of sushi. Flavors are phenomenal. We were all passing our food around sharing laughing having a good time. I love that a restaurant can bring people together to celebrate and have a good time.

Google
This place’s sushi is top-notch, Easily in my top five. The people here are super nice, and the atmosphere was really good. The service was amazing, having a waiter at your table constantly. Even during a good rush, we still got our food fairly quickly. The rolls were fairly big, and they filled us up. I would recommend this to anyone 👍

Google
This was a go to place, service had gotten worse. Food isn’t as good as years ago. Most of the staff is friendly there’s one person in particular who always seems like he’s not happy being there. Their added seating in the other room is dark, the decor is horrible not to mention you seat there for a good 15-20 minutes for anyone to come over and take your drink orders. Food is not always fresh, too dry especially the chicken and beef dishes. The wait time has gotten worse.

Google
Edit: came back for another visit, equally impressed. Had a delicious meal and even better service. Sushi was fresh and delicious. And had a delicious sake flight the amazing bartender walked me through. Will be back!

The food was quite nice, very dim and nice atmosphere. Great Service with nice servers. Their portions were very big for the price, I’d definitely go again.

Yelp
Cocoro has been a Stockton staple since I was a teenager but it had been a good long while since I'd been back after moving. The whole place gives off a great vibe with the lighting and interior all dialed in just right for the perfect ambiance. Since it had been a while I wasn't sure what to expect but I have to say cocoro exceeded my expectations on all counts. Looking at the menu, things were actually priced very reasonably, and I was also pleasantly surprised with all the portions. Wifey and I started with the pork belly and Brussels sprouts appetizer. Not going to lie, I often skip the appetizers cause at most places they're hit or miss but this was one I was very impressed with. The pork belly is cooked sous vide to get that perfect texture and then fried after for a crunchy exterior. If I had one suggestion to the kitchen it would be to fry it a little longer to get it crispier but either way it was very good. Served with pickled onions and sesame mayo it was a great start to the evening. Portion was generous and I'd order again. 8/10 Looking at the options for entrees I was really at a loss because everything sounded so good. I've had and enjoyed their sushi before but since my wife is pregnant we decided this wouldn't be a sushi mission, but we did order a spider (soft shell crab) roll for a little crunch. 7/10 Wife got the spicy ramen which we'd had before and knew wouldn't disappoint. They have an option with wagyu that I allllmost went with, next time! As far as flavor goes the ramen is delicious, though not quite as complex as some dedicated ramen houses. Upgrading to a ginger/soy marinated egg instead of a plain egg would be an easy way to elevate this as well. Overall still a great bowl of ramen that we'll continue to order, 8/10 Took me a while to decide on an entree for myself. It is almost always my habit to choose beef over other proteins but the chicken katsu sando really caught my attention and I felt I could feel and see the chef's vision. When our order arrived it was clear I made the right choice with the katsu sando. Holy- that thing is impressive! Biting into it, it was exactly what I was hoping for and then some. Wonderfully crunchy, a little sweet and tangy, juicy chicken thighs. Yes. I ended up asking for extra katsu sauce on the side which really just completed the experience making this sandwich a perfect 10/10. Loved it. Overall wife and I were super impressed with the menu, food, and service we received at Cocoro. We live in Lodi with no shortage of great Japanese cuisine, but I'm sure we'll be back within a week or so for more!

Yelp
This was my first time at Cocoro. We were greeted by a friendly host and shown to our table. I noticed how clean the restaurant was and noticed staff cleaning stations; love this place already. Our server greeted us shortly thereafter to welcome us and to take our drink order. By the time she came back with drinks we were ready to order apps while we waited for our friends to join. The Brussels sprouts, usually not my favorite to order at other places, were fantastic! Shortly after our friends arrived our server was on the spot to greet them and offer drinks. We put our main dish orders in - they were out by the time we finished the Brussels sprouts. The food portions are huge. I took home at least half of my chicken teriyaki and rice to use with eggs the next morning for my boyfriend and I. Everyone raved about their dishes. Extra points: our dirty dishes were cleared quickly. Our server checked on us throughout our visit, even bringing another round of cocktails. My first visit but not my last! My new fave in Stockton! Thank you Cocoro!

Yelp
Still my favorite on The Mile. Do yourself a favor and sit at the Sushi Bar and chop it up with Johnny and Rafa. Spicy crunchy scallop roll is off the hook. Get the salmon belly nigiri and the otoro if you like that type of fish. Amazing quality and freshness unmatched in this town. Thank you CocoRo for your quality, professionalism, and contribution to the City of Stockton. You are a diamond in a town that can be rough on restaurants.

Yelp
Everything we ordered was super fresh and delicious. They also have Uni (Sea Urchin) which is a must have for us when we go eat sushi. Def recommend this spot!

Yelp
Super cute place in Stockton. My boyfriend lives in the area, he's been here before a couple years back but this was my first time. Super cute and intimate on the inside, with also ample outdoor patio seating. We were greeted right when we walked in and there was no wait time. We sat outside because it was beautiful outside. I will say my first complaint was the table, was wobbly. So it was teeter toting so I had to keep my food on one side to prevent that from happening. We got the Parmesan asparagus, rainbow roll, combination and 2 hand rolls, unagi and spicy scallop. The asparagus came out and it was super good! Super crunchy and good side too! The pieces were big and crunchy! I was impressed. I wanted it with spicy mayo. But let me tell you, idk why but the spicy mayo was so spicy like I had one bite and the spice was lingering and just not enjoyable anymore. So I ended up just eating it plain lol Our sushi's came out and they were good! Good flavors and the roll was bigger than I thought. More pieces than I anticipated. Presentation was good. The hand rolls were a 6.5/10 they were ok. Nothing crazy I would have liked more flavor at least. 1 hand roll is about 7$, a bit pricy so I only got 2 lol Overall presentation was good, food came out pretty fast, prices were a bit more expensive than other sushi spots and service was super nice and friendly. Highly rec if you're in the area and want something nice and are craving sushi!

Yelp
First timers! My husband and I came in on a Saturday night and although it was busy we were greeted and seated right away at sushi bar. We were sat in front of Sushi chef Chris and although he was busy he still took the time to kindly greet us and ask us if it was our first time in. It was so he offered to give us some recommendations on the menu! We ordered the Spicy Edamame, Shrimp Mango Roll and the Oh WOW Roll. The Spicy Edamame had just the right amount of spice, garlic and saltiness. It was so good we finished the whole bowl of edamame before our sushi rolls came. The Shrimp Mango Roll was sweet, tangy and delicious! The lime and cilantro with the mango made it taste so fresh! The Oh WOW Roll was so flavorful! It was spicy, sweet from the teriyaki and had a delightful crunch from seaweed salad. I loved the textures. Both rolls were super fresh and made to perfection! Also, the ambiance was nice even though it was very busy and a bit crowded. We were sat at the corner of the sushi bar so my husband and I were able to talk and hear each other comfortably. We will be coming back more often! Amazing customer service and food!

Yelp
Wait time was about an hour but thank goodness we were able to get in sooner. Very busy and packed. First time trying here as a local! The rolls were pretty tasty and refreshing. Would love to try their katsu Sando next time. Lastly service was spectacular thanks to haley! Coming back next time for sure.

Yelp
I went in a sister day with my big sister and the food was amaaaaaazing!! The staff were attentive and the rolls were the best! When we went , the atmosphere was very warm and friendly, kinda gave an early 00's fancy restaurant vibe lol. I will definitely be coming back! I got the carpaccio with Chicharron the flavor for that was like a party on my tastebuds, the meat was thinly sliced and the chicharron was crispy and not too dry, it tasted fresh! We also had the 1/2 oysters and Oml the favoring on that was immaculate, and the presentation was very lovely. It was my second favorite. Lastly we got our rolls and let me tell you the sashimi was really good and the spicy tuna roll was to die for. It had the perfect balance of spicy and freshness! You could tell all the rolls were fresh. I will definitely be come back again! Overall my favorite thing off the menus besides the drinks was the carpaccio the flavor profile on that dish specifically was delicious, I had to drive squid thing on it, and some capers along with the Chicharron the taste profile for it was immaculate.

Yelp
My husband and I are nearly weekly regulars. Don't let the wait make you impatient. Fridays seem to be the busiest between 5:30-7. We shoot for before or after their rush and don't wait longer than 20mins (excluding holidays). It's always worth the wait as Cocoro never fails. The absolute best and freshest spot in Stockton. Tammy and Johnny the owners are always so welcoming and have an excellent team providing great customer service. Even during their busiest nights the staff does their best. Shout out to Thai and Nikki always whipping up the best drinks. They know as soon as we walk in what we like to order lol. Thai is always accommodating for any drink tweaks. He's made us our own Mangoneada (mango marg with tamarindo) 10/10. Since we go so often we try to switch up the appetizers and they never disappoint. Flavors are always on point and the freshness is always great. Don't expect rolls to be slathered in sauce, cocoro's signature rolls allow you to taste the flavors of the fresh seafood that is complimented with ingredients. For non seafood eaters they definitely have entrees that are always delicious. Last night I opted for the chicken Katsu sando and it was delicious. Their cucumber kimchi they put on the side was soooo good! Oh wow and spicy crunchy rainbow are always our fav signature rolls. Mixed tempura as an app is such a large plate it serves as a meal for me on my own. Portion sizes are always generous and we always over order so we can bring leftovers home to enjoy later. Ty Cocoro team for making our date nights always so delightful!
google avatar

Aliyah H.

Yelp
This place continues to have the freshest and highest quality fish, veggies, and meat with great service! We moved away last year and stopped in to our favorite sushi spot and it's still 5 stars. Thank you Tammy & Johnny!

Yelp
My favorite sushi spot ! Never disappoints from the service to the food & drinks ! Always a good time ! Some of my favorites would have to the él coco loco roll , spicy crunchy rainbow roll , for app the spicy garlic edamame grilled & my fav drink here is the strawberry mojito ! For a non-raw sushi roll the shrimp mango is a yummy option! Found out I was pregnant not too long ago and sadly that means no raw fish so I'm definitely missing it and will be back once I'm able to enjoy my favorites!

Yelp
4/18/25 at approximately 2:30pm. Parking will aways be a inconvenience. Other than that I've never had a bad experience after all these yrs eating at this establishment. Today lunch consisted of 3 appetizers and a main course. The first was a new pork belly dish consisting of bite size pork belly accompanied by Brussels sprout that out numbered the pork belly 4-1 along with spicy mayo and pickled red onion. Tasty nonetheless. Next was the Shishito pepper. They are served blistered with soy sauce. You can also get them tempura. They were also tasty and non spicy. Last app was the Agedashi dōfu. Best in town imo. Always a delightful. For the main was the beef tomato curry with added chicken katsu. First time having such a dish. Didn't eat it all took most of it to go but it hit every aspect rice was fresh slightly sticky, katsu was crispy, and the curry was curring. Lol.. I was surprised by the portion size it's a hardy meal if you ask me. Anyways it comes with soup or salad. The soup is miso. I sat at the bar I was the only one at the bar so the bar attendant was great with every thing. He was server so he has great knowledge of the menu even suggested a few dishes. I ordered a strawberry mojito and water. So for 3 appetizers, main course and a mix drink it was $100 including tip.

Yelp
Fast service for a Friday night. Staff was attentive and friendly. I enjoyed the Calamari and the sauce it was in. My roll was ok it didn't hold together well but I will return to try the other items. Good ambiance.
google avatar

Leah F.

Yelp
Jen our server was amazing and the food and drink was to die for. We ordered the spicy ramen, lychee martinis, maze ramen, California roll, shrimp ceviche, steamed gyoza, elote, sake sashimi, sake toro, and nigori sake and it was all absolutely amazing. We had two babies running around on top of that and they made us feel so welcome and are so appreciative of such a fun experience!

Carolyn Y.

Yelp
We have been there a few times in the last few weeks Had the Chicken Katsu Sando w/ Fudikake fries HUGE ! : Mixed Tempura is HUGE comes with a big salad , rice Really good fresh , great service ,nice dining room or sit at the Sushi Bar And prices are very very reasonable ! The music is just a bit too loud but overall a great place !

Yelp
This place was amazing! This was our first time here... Our daughter absolutely loves sushi, but has not really gotten to go to a place that takes the time to hand make and do them the right way. The difference was unmistakable, and she truly enjoyed her meal. The service and ambience was absolutely fantastic, everybody was super attentive and extraordinarily kind; it was dinner and they were obviously busy, but everybody took the time to come over and explain things on the menu if we did not understand or were indecisive and make sure we were doing OK throughout our meal. It was a wonderful evening, not only with regard to the food that the service that we received. Those two things are absolutely vital when it comes to the makings of a good restaurant and something worthwhile to return to. We will definitely be back. Our compliments to the chef and to all the service staff that worked so hard to make this a wonderful evening for my family and I
google avatar

Yelp
Tried this sushi restaurant and it was a hit! Definitely coming back again. Posted pics.

Yelp
I've been going to Cocoro for about 14 years. I basically have been ordering the same thing every single time I come in, the spicy crunchy scallop roll. When I first started ordering it, it was amazing! Then they changed ownership and the quality was okay. Today I went back for the first time in about a year, and my role was super fishy ... very disappointed in the quality .. it also had a lot of asparagus on the inside. Honestly, I'm not a big fan of the change. I will not be coming back. Sorry Raw Sushi on trinity is better!!
google avatar

Shawnee T.

Yelp
CoCoRo is phenomenal! Make a reservation in advance because this place gets packed. The aesthetic is amazing and the atmosphere is great. The food itself is fantastic. We have enjoyed everything we have tried. It has a variety of vegetarian options too which is highly appreciated.
google avatar

Lynna N.

Yelp
Cocoro is one of my go-to spots in Stockton. They have affordable and tasty ramen. The nigiri and sashimi tastes fresh and the portion sizes are solid. The servers are always friendly, although receiving your food can take a bit of time. The inside is cozy and dimly lit. Atmosphere: 4/5 Food: 4/5
google avatar

Ezra L.

Yelp
The restaurant used to be a favorite for my family. In recent years the food quality has diminished. Likely to a change of ownership. The staff is still very nice. The decor definitely gives a seaside Japanese vibe. You can see the kitchen from the dining area, making sure you know how your food is made.

W A.

Yelp
Excellent and most importantly fresh sushi. I would say this is one of the best, if not the best sushi place in Stockton. I have had excellent service - all of three times. Recommend NOT sit outdoors as you will have some unwanted companions - flies bothering you. :))
google avatar

Ashly H.

Yelp
Me and my husband are newer fans of this place, absolutely love it! Their spicy ramen is off the charts delicious. They have really good rolls and the hand crafted drinks are some of our most favorite in town. The staff is amazing as well, super attentive and friendly. We highly recommend this place looking for some great drinks and flavorful dishes.
google avatar

Sandy P.

Yelp
Their rolls are pretty average, I honestly wouldn't really come here for their sushi rolls. Their sashimi is kind of a hit or miss, I guess it depends on what day and how lucky you get when going. The first time we went the sashimi was amazing and the quality was out of this world, the second time the sashimi was pretty mediocre. One thing I gotta say is their beef asparagus is top notch, best thing I tried here. It's really loud in the restaurant.
google avatar

Leonel S.

Yelp
The place is comforting. The waiters are chill and very busy. Food is above average and very fulfilling. And the appetizers are so good.

Yelp
I tried cocoro again and ordered to go to satisfy my craving since last time I tried to dine in I left because it took so long. Again I was disappointed, I placed and order and was told it would be 20-25 minutes and I arrived about 23 minutes after I called in. I waited another 20 minutes after and my order still wasn't done this time at least I wasn't forgotten about. Then I got home and was again disappointed when I realized they got my order wrong. I was not about to wait for them to remake it AGAIN! Thank god I found Jimmies place so at least I have a good sushi place to go to because I'm starting to feel like cocoro ain't it. ***regarding the incorrect order. I ordered no wasabi and it was smashed onto my plate and I ordered a soy wrap with my roll and a regular one was given instead. I also ordered extra teriyaki and that was not included in my order either. Like I said I still love the restaurant and I will be back eventually but it has been a little disappointing the passed few times I have went.

Yelp
Delicious sushi. Large fresh sashimi portions. Ordered grilled edamame and we were served a large portion, grilled just enough. Salmon skin salad was delicious, lots of salmon and salmon skin. Good customer service.

Alwyn R.

Yelp
One of the better sushi spots in Stockton. It's pricy and the rolls are a bit small, but everything typically tastes fresh and the ratios of everything in the rolls are good. There is a good variety of fish types for the rolls. Food: - Tempura Asparagus - 2/5 - mostly got the hard end pieces which were impossible to chew so I had to throw away most of it. - Chili Spider Salmon - 3/5 - inconsistent quality. One time I ordered and there was no meat with the soft-shell crab it was 90% shell. The other time the salmon had skin and lots of fat on the pieces, and the cilantro was really gross and old looking with black spots all over. Otherwise it's good. - Fried California - 3/5 - mainly taste the batter and nothing else. Not worth the price. - Not a fan of the spicy aoili here, tastes strange and is a bit too hot to the point where it overpowers the food. The rest of the below are 5/5: - California roll - Rainbow Roll - El Coco Loco - Spicy sesame Seared Tuna - Tekka Maki - Spicy Tuna (good but spicier than average) Issues: - When ordering for take out they are always at least 15-20 minutes late beyond the pick up time they give you. - Delivery they ALWAYS forget to include utensils (napkins, chopsticks, etc) even when you select it within the door dash app and it also takes an extremely long time for the order prep. Overall the food here is pretty good but many things could be improved on considering the really high prices such as quality control and timing. Haven't dined in in many years but when I did it was a good experience.

Yelp
Came here for my birthday lunch, fish tasted very fresh and yummy. Service was good and its very nice inside.
google avatar

Abigail D.

Yelp
Came on a Saturday night around 5:30 pm. we only waited about 5 minutes. nice interior, good drink selection, and rolls are consistent and delicious every time. our favorite appetizer is agedashi tofu, it comes out super crispy and hot every time. The tuna ceviche and the veggies that came in it, especially the red onion, was refreshing and uplifting!

Yelp
Delicious!!! I have ordered both for take out and dine in and enjoyed my food both times. The sushi here is phenomenal! So fresh and so tasty! The service I received on this last visit was great! The host accommodated us very well as we were in a tight schedule with our 1 hour lunch. We ordered the ceviche, edamame, and 2 rolls (one was Italian). The Italian role was amazing! I had never had sushi with pesto and it was surprisingly SO good. Moving on to the ambience. The restaurant has a very trendy vibe inside with a full bar and dark interior. I loved eating inside rather than taking my food to go. The sushi tastes so fresh and is one of the best I have had between Manteca/Stockton. If you are in the area, I highly recommend this restaurant!
google avatar

BIanca H.

Yelp
Super creative, fresh, fun, and delicious! I got here as they were opening up so the service was great and the atmosphere was quiet. I ordered the Pom Sour cocktail and if you like whisky and sours, this one is . I had the Poke raw tapas and the Coco Loco roll and both were amazing! Definitely will be going back.

Yelp
We haven't been here in a while. It was once our favorite go-to restaurant that we visited weekly. We went on January 4th at 8:45pm with our 12-year-old daughter. We were sat in the new section on the left. It's an odd area with light shining right in your eyes. But whatever, we wanted to have a nice late dinner. We ordered, and it took about 25 minutes for the food to come out. The entire time the party to the left of us (it was only us and them) were so loud and it seemed the only English they knew were curse words. The staff would come by and they'd hear them, loud af and screaming "shut the F*** Up!!!!" 50 times. It was embarrassing, Cocoro used to be a nice place to eat, now its turning into a place people can go get wasted and be belligerent in public. No thank you, I'll make my food at home or head to another restaurant.
google avatar

Bryan L.

Yelp
Food is top notch and very very good. The spicy Ramen is the best in Stockton hands-down! The sushi is over the top and they always have awesome specials. The only complaint is I come out smelling like cooked food. The exhaust fans could be better .
google avatar

Kia V.

Yelp
First time here and everything was amazingly yummy!! The quality is good too. Probably first place in Stockton I really like! The service was amazing too. They check on us a lot to make sure if we needed anything. I came here with 3 gfs. Our tab was $200! Price was great.

Melissa H.

Yelp
Right when we walked in me and my husband were greeted right away and seated . Our waiter was very polite. The fried gyoza was amazing. I ordered salmon it tasted so fresh. The lemon salmon roll tasted so light and refreshing . Always delicious here

Yelp
Easy to find. On the corner. This was my second time here. I really live the chicken teriyaki because I'm not a huge sushi guy. My friends live the sushi here and it looks good, just not my jam. I will stick with the teriyaki. They are very friendly in here. There is inside and outside seating. They have music playing in the the background and there is usually a game on the TV. You should try this place.
google avatar

Mikayla M.

Yelp
I ate here by myself at the end of my solo Stockton day trip because I love sushi and heard good things about this place. I tried the wagyu nigiri and the kona kanpachi nigiri and both had good flavor and the kanpachi was fresh. The red dragon roll was also good and fresh but the spice definitely accumulates so I would opt for a different roll next time. The service was fast and friendly and the restaurant was nice with lots of windows and a cool vibe.

Yelp
Cocoro's sushi selections are a potpourri of joy. I've been eating at Cocoro since it opened on Stockton's Miracle Mile. Their ambiance and decor is fitting for a Japanese sushi restaurant. Their service is outstanding. The staff and chefs are a bunch of fantastic and friendly workers. I love sitting next to the large pane windows where you get a great view of Pacific Ave.. Get there early or you'll stand in line for a table, but they have a comfy waiting lounge. My favorite sushi is the Eel Roll and the tempura box is delicioso! The Japanese food items are moderately priced. Whenever I'm in the mood for great Sushi or tempura, I head to Cocoro.

Yelp
Best sushi place here that I have tried in the area so good love the food. Super cheep

Yelp
We came on a Saturday evening, around 8pm. They looked super busy but we were seated in about 15 mins! Our waiter came a greeted us right away. He took our app and drink order. We got our app pretty quickly. We got the fried gyoza-they were delicious!! My husbands sushi order came out but after waiting for almost 30 mins for my hot dish, my husband had to track down our waiter to ask him about it. Our waiter was very friendly but I hate to admit, not very attentive. He didn't check on us and he definitely did not come check about my food taking so long. I was honestly ok with it as we were not in rush. At the same time I would've been nice for him to check on it for us without having to find him and ask. I ordered the beef teriyaki. The portion size was huge! The teriyaki was a little too tangy for me. But it was still good. Loved their dressing on the salad. The ordered their mango margarita. It was good but did not taste like mango, more like pineapple. The restaurant itself it nice. Cozy and has a full bar. It's a casual setting. Plenty of people with shorts etc.

Yelp
How does a sushi restaurant that charges between $20-$28 per sushi roll delivered not include chop sticks to eat sushi? Ordered tempura (half of the items were soggy and wet) and two roles. I requested extra wasabi and was uncharged after the fact. Overall, overpriced sub-par sushi.

Yelp
You know a restaurant is good when a line forms prior to opening! Came here for lunch with a friend and although I was a part of the line that was all sat at one time they were extremely attentive! The ceviche was the best that I have had in a while and the restaurant was nice and clean!

Yelp
Tammy and Johnny have worked hard to turn things around over the years. Our family has started returning more frequently to eat and have seen numerous improvements in the menu, service, quality of food and the recent remodel of the restaurant. We have developed a good relationship with the owners and know some of the staff. They have come a long way to earn our respect and appreciation for what we once regarded as the best sushi restaurant in the city. I will continue to patronize and support their steadfast commitment to service and innovation! Also, the food is pretty good too!

Yelp
Best sushi spot in Stockton. From food quality to customer service! The hamachi shooter was fire, but that's all I'm going to say kinda want to gate keep some items so if you know you know.

Yelp
Visiting from out of town and stopped here for some sushi and wow! Amazing sushi! First off the service is great, the staff is super attentive and friendly. Second, the portions are huge! My salmon sashimi was the thickest sliced and the rolls are massive! So fyi you only need to order one or two! The sushi is delicious and very fresh. We started with the tuna poke and goyza, the spicy tuna poke was amazing served with wontons. Highly recommend. Then we had an assortment of rolls but the ultimate was the red dragon if you like spice! We also had the scallop roll, caterpillar, and dragon. All was super delicious and amazingly presented. Would definitely recommend this place for any sushi lover. Only 4 stars because it is quite pricy but again the portions are massive.

Yelp
I think my favorite thing about this place was the bartender Ty.. He made an excellent drink, was very kind, and gave the best service. It's obvious he really cares about what he does. The whole team seemed to work very well together on a busy Tuesday night. The sushi was far above average, and a nice presentation . I highly recommend iCocoro. Thank you for the great experience Ty, keep enjoying what you do, others notice and appreciate the extra care you give.

Yelp
New ownership has brought back some favorites. Tuna Ceviche is back and awesome. It gets crowded given the new expansion, but staff makes it work!
