Food was very good and hot. Fry portions are large and sandwiches are amazing. The employees were so so nice and the atmosphere was calm with good radio music. The prices are very affordable especially for the food quality. Will definitely come back!!

Google
On the way to key west grabbed lunch after the Bahia state beach park. Got a cubano. Good and filling. definitely hits the spot and gets all of the notes of a cubano. Price is fair and staff is friendly. Worth a stop if you needed a quick bite before you hit up key west.

Google
Amazing little diner we stopped off while the Tesla was charging at the supercharger. I had the Cuban sandwich and it was filling, tasty and fresh. My guest had the burger. We were both satisfied with our lunch with fountain drinks. Definitely a great option on Big Pine Key next to the grocery store. Roosters in the parking lot cockle-doing away. lol

Google
What a wonderful little cafe! The best Cuban sandwich I have ever had! The family recipe was great. Oh and excellent key lime pie. A definite destination for us next time we visit the Keys.

We had breakfast and enjoyed it. I had Huevos Rancheros, and my wife had a breakfast burrito. Both were good, but a little bland compared to what we're used to. I guess they want to cater to everyone's taste and in their defense, there was hot sauce available. We did think their tortillas were very good. Oh yeah, we also had guava and cheese turnovers...yummy! I only gave a 4 for atmosphere because the seat cushions are old and they serve you with plastic cutlery. Nothing wrong with that, but I can't justify a five compared to everyone else's place settings. The staff was very friendly and efficient. We will be back to try some of their lunch fare!

Google
Yes please. I didn’t expect much as I wandered into this unassuming strip mall diner. With acronyms like ATW (all the way) to select which condiments you want, to the parking lot chickens, I didn’t expect much. But the sandwiches. OMG. The ATW Cuban was a heavenly triumph. The perfect amount of mayo sauce and the crunchy outside of the roll cooked panini style and they had me. Fountain drinks were nice but the glass bottles coke was an added bonus. The staff was friendly and sheepishly asked if I would like some habanero hot sauce, delivering a modest amount so as to not scorch my face and leave me wondering if I’d been damned to hell. “Should I have it” I asked? Yes please.

I wanted to try Cuban food. I was very pleased with my food choices. I got Tinga chicken special, sauteed chicken with plaintains and Cuban mixed sandwich. Price was great and food was delicious. There is plenty of space for dine in. I forgot the names of the girls in the front but they were all very friendly and helpful. Menu is very easy.

Google
Delicious Cuban sandwich and friendly service. Highly recommended!

Yelp
This place was a great find and thankful we stopped in for breakfast. 4.5 stars. The staff were phenomenal and so kind! You order at the bar and they bring your food out. We had the guava pastries which we all loved! My husband had an omelette and said it was good. Kids had pancakes and bacon and I had a bacon and cheese sandwich. They food was good. The inside is cute and clean with a nice painting on the wall! We would return!

Yelp
Cuban w/ onion rings was fantatic. Service excellent as well. We'll be back. Xxxxxxxxxxxx

Yelp
They hate white people. Note to employees. Some white people speak more than one language I was kind and mashed up my raw hamburger they served me. My wife got two chicken nuggets on a Cuban loaf. We pretended to eat. My wife immediately purged herself. Again, word to the staff. We can speak yr language too Also. Avoid

Kristina C.

Yelp
The perfect spot for a casual breakfast. The food was delicious. The service was fast and cheerful. The ambience is pleasant and the restaurant is very clean. And the Cuban coffee was a real treat.

Yelp
Solid Cuban sandwiches. Really friendly. Tucked away in the Winn-Dixie shopping center on Big Pine Key. Be careful with the street address--Maps would have sent us to the other side of the street I didn't do the Cuban coffee--maybe next time

Yelp
Very cute restaurant in strip mall next to Winn Dixie. Our food was delicious and the service was great. Very fresh.
google avatar

Tom L.

Yelp
The food was actually very good, cooked exactly how I wanted it. Service was excellent. You do go up to a counter and order your food and they will bring it to your table. Or if you want, they will come to your table and take your order. Staff was very polite. The restaurant was clean, plenty of seating inside. They are not pet friendly.

Yelp
Was told about this place from a local so we tried it. Went for lunch and loved it so returned for breakfast the next day. Service and food was great!!

Rhonda T.

Yelp
Great, find. friendly fast service. The food was amazing. Nice portions. reasonable prices:)

Yelp
Great storefront restaurant in the Winn-Dixie plaza. Delicious Cuban sandwich and other house specials. Friendly service!

Yelp
Love this place! Great people. Great food! Great prices! My favorite is the tuna sandwich!

Whitney H.

Yelp
Amazing food, great service! Worth the drive! We went for lunch and liked it so much we came back for breakfast!
google avatar

Barbara D.

Yelp
Very nice cafe run by friendly people. Menu had something for everyone. Food was fresh and served quickly. It's hidden in the Winn Dixie plaza off route 1 so it's easy to miss. Visit this hidden gem. It's clean, quiet and reasonably priced for quality food.

Yelp
Went here after a trip to the deer refuge which was a bust. This place was a much better find. The staff is super nice & the service is fast. We split a sandwich with ham, Genoa salami & carnita meat. Wow! Yum! Sweet potato fries were good sized, not shoestring. Skip the chain restaurant & try this little gem of a place.

Yelp
I love coming here! Service is always 5 star! The food is homemade, and tastes fresh. The portions are always perfect and I always have some to take home. My favorite is the chorizo Mexican burrito, or the biscuits and gravy.
google avatar

Jeanette R.

Yelp
Breakfast spot in the lower keys serving up homemade steak n eggs, pancakes, huevos rancheros, and other basic rise n shine staples! Quaint little place with grandma in the kitchen cooking up made to order dishes. I liked how fast it was from start to finish, I would come here again if I was in the area.
google avatar

Tricia W.

Yelp
Great little place in the Winn Dixie shopping center. Normally you order at the counter, but the server working waited on us at a table while we decided what to order. Service was very friendly and the food was good. Super clean with nice folks working there. Definitely worth a stop if you are looking for a not so touristy place on Big Pine Key!
google avatar

Richard B.

Yelp
Great Cuban/South American Restaurant. We had their huevos rancheros for breakfast which is different from the Mexican variety. They take a tortilla and layer it with a fresh, slightly runny, egg and add salsa while topping it with black beans! Really good. Then, have a coffee con leche with light sugar and you are in heaven. The Cuban coffee con leche is my love. I just found out today that you can order a dark coffee con leche and get less milk. 83° high today and 73° low. The same for 2 weeks!!!
google avatar

Luke O.

Yelp
Delicious and affordable Cuban food in a very laid-back setting. It's always nice to find a place that's not a tourist trap in the Keys.

Don F.

Yelp
Food is okay but way over priced. Went here twice and ultimately decided we were not going back. If I am going to spend this kind of money I will go down the road to the big restaurant next to the mini golf.
google avatar

Catherine K.

Yelp
Delicious food for a quick stop on our way to Key West. My friend chose where to stop. The Cuban food was delicious. She chose the steak and eggs and I got the Thursday Special (crazy eggs). Definitely a delicious meal and a decent price for what you get.
google avatar

Alexis G.

Yelp
The food here was absolutely incredible. I grew up in South Florida & Cuban food is my favorite. We stopped here on vacation, and I can't recommend them enough! Cute place inside, too.
google avatar

Mason P.

Yelp
The food was good and the staff friendly. Everything came out quickly and the restaurant is conveniently located in a little shopping center.

Will B.

Yelp
Best Cuban coffee in the keys, not to mention excellent food and service!! Rosie is the sweetest person on the island as well!!

Liby M.

Yelp
I love the home made food, the really great service where the lady at the front did her best to give us the best service. We asked to replace the sandwich with a bowl of veggies and to add extra dish, all was granted. It isn't a fancy place but the value for money especially in this vicinity is great

Mark M.

Yelp
Highly recommend Coco's. Ate there twice while camping nearby. Good system of ordering at counter and waiting at a table. Tacos Al pastor on my first visit were full of tender beef and their house made pico de gallo was the best ever. Had pork chili verde platter on second visit and it was perfection. Family owned and they were great, especially the bus boy (son). Will definitely return.
google avatar

Fran W.

Yelp
I think Cocos is the best deal on the island. I had the Tacos Plata which was more than I could eat and absolutely delicious. I make my own Mexican food at home and it was better than I could make The next day I stopped in and got breakfast which was a Spanish omelette with Cuban toast fresh and again very very good. Their fish sandwich which is Mahi-mahi also wonderful And the prices are so reasonable It's hard to believe you are in the Keys Land Of Outrageous Prices
google avatar

Dawn W.

Yelp
Other reviewers said this was the best deal in town. I will agree on that, and that's about it. We stopped in for dinner based on reviews here on Yelp. I am sorry to say my steak was not very good. It was tough and way too much citrus - I could barely taste anything else. The sweet potato fries were very good, tho. I gave 3 stars cuz my hubby's shrimp were huge and meaty - but not much taste. So, maybe it was a bad night for them? Service was slow, and my husband was down right afraid of the waitress. I know this is a long time family owned business, and I want to applaud small businesses nowadays, but I just can't do it here.

Colleen C.

Yelp
Great little breakfast spot! Staff was very friendly! Definitely recommend! Love the roosters in the parking lot ha!

Christel B.

Yelp
Cute cafe and friendly staff. I was excited to see they had Mexican food on their menu and the prices looked great. Unfortunately I think I picked the wrong thing on the menu. Their breakfast burrito was so small and depressing, it left me wanting more. Definitely would not recommend if you have an appetite. Other things on their menu did look pretty good, I might be willing to try something else later down the road. I'll stick to the breakfast burrito from the Florida keys cafe down the road.

Eric D.

Yelp
Came for Cuban food. Very good. But I came back for the flan. Mom's home recipe from Mexico. The best!

Heather R.

Yelp
Good and an excellent price. I haven't been there since the mama in the back retired a couple of months ago, but I hope the food hasn't changed. Yummy coffee!!!

Jamey H.

Yelp
Good local place with cuban coffee and Cuban and American breakfast selections. Everyone was friendly and helpful and the cortadito was legit.

Nichole B.

Yelp
We had a delicious dinner at Coco's. The fried fish dinner was excellent, fish very fresh and huge array of side options - all fantastic. Tried stuffed yucca (great with their homemade hot sauce), rice/beans and toast, onion rings, maduros. Also had conch fritters with pickle dipping sauce. Would order it all again and great value. Very high traffic/volume with locals so you know it's good. Highly recommend!

Yelp
This was hands down one of the best Cuban foods me and my partner have had. I asked for Churrasco steak and it tasted delicious! And that's saying something because I'm Brazilian and we are known for our churrasco. Our waitress, Rose Dell, was also an amazing person who thoroughly explained everything on the menu to us and made the experience even better. She's super personable. Besides the food being amazing, the price was also super amazing. Very affordable! If you're visiting the keys and driving through Big Pine Key, make a pit stop here to enjoy some authentic Cuban food and you won't regret it!
google avatar

Nico D.

Yelp
Wow what a great place! Mercedes is a wonderful server! Have had the pleasure of eating here twice, once for breakfast and once for dinner! The skirt Steak is excellent and is cooked to perfection! When you're visiting Big Pine Key, or heading down to Key West, don't miss Coco's Kitchen!

Yelp
Breakfast: steak & eggs. So good I haven't ordered anything else yet. Dinner: Breaded fried pork chops. Comes with Cuban mojo marinated onions on top. So good I haven't ordered anything else yet. Breakfast & Dinner: the habanero hot sauce kills. I had to buy a bottle of it, it's so good. They could market this sauce and sell it in stores. Forget about Siracha. It's homemade and some of the best hot sauce I've ever had. It brings the heat but the flavor, which is delicious standing alone, is not overpowering. This place is awesome, food comes fast, and it's cheap. Coco for president 2020.
google avatar

Liam M.

Yelp
This is hands down the best churrasco steak I have ever eaten. I have been trying to duplicate the flavor profile for years and can't come close. I have threatened to kidnap Rose in exchange for the recipe and Ms. Coco told me to keep her. Truly authentic food prepared by one of the best chef's I know. Visit Coco's Kitchen you won't regret it.

Yelp
You can't beat Coco's for great Cuban food at unbelievable low prices .The place is spotless and the service is almost to fast
google avatar

Mallory E.

Yelp
Favorite place to eat on the keys for breakfast and dinner. The happy face breakfast is the absolute best and you really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. We ate here at least 5 times for a week long work trip. Our regular server is probably my favorite person in the Keys. Do yourself a service and stop in!!

Jimmy H.

Yelp
Good food, good prices. Ate here tonight got 2 cheeseburgers and 2 orders of black beans and rice. Less than 20.00$ wife said the ladies working there where very nice. We Will be back.
google avatar

Jenni B.

Yelp
The pancakes were DELICIOUS! Quick, friendly service! The rest of the food was good and the coffee was great.
google avatar

Shelly R.

Yelp
So yummy! I love the breakfast burritos. The service is fast & friendly. This is my favorite "go to" when I'm visiting the Keys. Coco's is the best restaurant in Big Pine.
google avatar

Victoria C.

Yelp
Back at Coco's again on this trip and couldn't be happier they are open again. The prices and the food are great, and the service is personable and efficient. We like the rice and beans and just LOVE the sweet potato fries. The absolute show stopper was the Skirt Steak dinner. I had the six hour pork too, but preferred the steak. I was told the key lime fridge pie was wonderful as well. They are open Wed-Sat and close at 7pm, so work the schedule to make it. We watched them turn away folks who arrived as we were finishing our meal, and you don't want that! This is a good value meal and worth the stop and scheduling constraints.
google avatar

Jessica O.

Yelp
Good Cuban food and some home cooked dinner. Odd hours though, wish they stayed open later. The staff do not have the best bed side manner but I still love their food
google avatar

Roxanne K.

Yelp
This is a hopping little joint with lots of Cuban flavor! It's small, cozy and has great service. The staff are super personable and very fast. I loved seeing the little mama in the kitchen slinging my home fries. I had breakfast and Cuban coffee... Actually coffee con lecce both of which are damn good. They are fast enough to have lunch and be back to work or pop in for breakfast. It's super clean, including the bathroom!

Dawn M.

Yelp
This place is amazing and I would definitely recommend coming here clean which is very important right now. One of my favorite places to eat In this area
google avatar

Chris D.

Yelp
Try the steak, it was an amazing. The fare is definitely South American in it's presentation and taste. Again I had a slice of heaven found in her skirt steak coupled with some yucca fries and yellow rice with black beans.
google avatar

Alysha T.

Yelp
We got breakfast sandwiches and cafe con leche to go. Cafe con leche was the best I've had and the egg sandwiches on Cuban bread were delicious and hearty. Their hot sauce is absolutely amazing too.
