The 21 Best Restaurants In Marseille - Marseille - The Infatuation

"Cocotero serves a tight menu of light, seasonal vegetable dishes to the sandy feet and bathing suit crowd—it's half a block from Catalans Beach. The prime location, combined with its affordability, makes it a rarity in Marseille, evidenced by the number of people hovering like seagulls for one of the dozen-odd picnic tables and metal two-tops on the sidewalk. Stop by for a glass of natural wine (€6 per glass, from €25 per bottle) and a handful of colorful plates to share before or after you go for a dip (they have lockers where you can stash your stuff). Thanks to the city’s year-round sunny weather, chefs ot Cocotero have a lot of produce to play with—in summer, caramelized spring onions might be dressed with yogurt and cherries, nailing the sweet-savory contrast, and pumpkin risotto with orange and leek is a godsend in cooler weather." - sophie friedman

Great place ! In a lovely area next to the local beach the place has an amazing welcoming atmosphere with great music and decor. Drinks are reasonably priced compared to some of the places around there and food was absolutely amazing. Every dish was very original and tasty, we shared a couple of dishes and we all agreed they were the best dishes that we ate in Marseille. Service was fast and staff was polite and super helpful! P.s thanks again for letting me borrow your tablet to sort out our mess with the accommodation 🙏🏼

Delicious food; great, fresh and I think local ingredients; warm, lively service. The drink selection is pretty good too, I got the mate kombucha but they even had a few non-alcoholic specialties that I wish I tried. Oh and did I mention affordable! This was an incredible meal for the price.

A wonderful place in Marseille! You can go at any time and they’ll have a different menu. Everything I ate there was exquisite. Also the staff is wonderful, I really recommend this place.

really gorgeous place with amazing staff very friendly - came here twice, once in the evening for drinks and once in the morning for coffee. both times were great and the coffee has oat milk!

Delicious vegetarian food but very expensive. The atmosphere was incredible and the staff super nice and welcoming. The locations idyllic if you are planning to visit the beach.

What incredible food that was! Super tasty share meals, nearly licked the plates clean. All wines are nature wines! And the service was above and beyond. They went through the whole menu in English for us, gave us tips of what to do in Marseille.

It was pretty good. A bit pricey. But this place is not vegetarian. They offer meat products as well.
