Great service. Seasoning and style is a bit different but nonetheless, it was tasty. The conch was tenderized and I asked for it to be grilled conch(more like steamed).

Best fish in Miami ever. Really recommend. Brazilian owner ;) Barbara was the waitress.

Me n the homie came into Florida today and she’s a pescatarian so I found this place by chance but omg it’s exceeded our expectations!!! The service was amazing and the food was delicious!! Omg get the Mamey smoothie and the mussels in garlic (in the appetizer section) 😩yes we girls…and we eat. They HATE to see us coming !!! Also Soz my messy chewing I was feeling ravenous with all the yummy food,,,

This is definitely the best place to have great customer service and eat the best seafood in the area! My family and I loved having lunch here, Eliane and Ania served us very well and made excellent recommendations on the menu, the lemonade is also excellent, we will definitely come back when we visit Miami again, don't forget to order an espresso at the end of your meal, anyway, stop scrolling down, come and have an incredible experience too

Fresh delicious down to earth seafood restaurant! Servers are very lovely and cordial. We don’t speak Spanish but we were able to figure out the order together. It was fun! Mamey smoothie a must try( kinda like papaya with a hint of 🍈 ). Highly recommend the Chef Mariano. It’s a pan seared mixed seafood topped with garlic🧄 oil! 😝

Very good service with delicious creamy seafood soup. The shrimps were very good done. They have to find a solution to the smell of the fish market. Other than this very good.

We came to this restaurant on our way back to Atlanta. This is the best seafood I eat in Miami on my vacation hands down. We got the fried red snapper and grilled red snapper and I tell you the flavors was so good. The yellow rice and grilled vegetables were also delicious. Thank you for amazing service and outstanding food!

What a hidden gem!!! We found this restaurant by chance while searching for a good seafood restaurant soon after arriving in Miami, and what a find it was. The hospitality was top notch, the owner and her husband was super friendly and welcoming. He helped us with the menu and recommendations. The food was fresh and super tasty, we tried the fried calamari and croquettes for starters, seafood paella and grilled tilapia with black beans and yellow rice for mains and quatro lecche for dessert, everything was delectable and tasty. The portions were very good. Highly recommend this restaurant.

I love love love this place! Super fresh seafood, delicious food and super friendly staff. This place is my go to for seafood took my bf here yesterday 20 mins before they were about to closed and ask if we can dine in we were welcomed with smiles. We both ordered fried snapper with white and red beans and side of avocado. We got complimentary bread and salsa as well as some fresh lemonade the food was 10/10 always. They speak Spanish here but tried there best to speak English I love coming here nothing but good food and vibes

Ordered the seafood casserole. The entire meal was $67. The dish included a small and I mean small (about 3 inches) lobster tail. Three medium shrimps fish among other things. way too expensive for what I got. Only one side item is included. The dish was tasteless. I was really really disappointed to be charged so much for such a mediocre dish.

For this type restaurant, a Cuban seafood market and restaurant, it is great. The prices excellent, the service superb, and the food awesome. I ate here recently and had to bring my wife as soon as she got back from a trip. The area is a warehouse district and the main base of customers are workers in the area but the food will have me coming back many times in the future.

Espectacular!!!! La comida increíble. Y el servicio también! Very clean. Very friendly staff. I brought family from Kansas and they were blown away. Prices are very fair. Best fried hog snapper I've ever had! The ceviche was amazing. The shrimp scampi was perfect with rice and beans on the side. Vanilla flan was creamy, not gelatinous. So good. Will be back! Super family friendly. We were 2 adults and 6 kids.

Food was pretty good. Server was friendly and helpful. Place was clean but needs a bit of an update. My only issue was that they give complimentary bread with a spread and didn't offer it to me. The person that sat right after me was given it immediately. I even asked her what it was and still didn't catch on. He seemed to be a regular but regardless it was very rude.

The best fish I've ever tried. Fresh and you can choose your own fish. Amazing staff friendly and kindly. Good ambience I get there at 12:00 It wasn't full (and honestly I don't know why)

What a hidden gem!! I just started working in the area and can't believe more people aren't talking about this place. There are so many hole in the walls in the area that are under the radar but I am all for it! This is a fish market, so yes it smells like fish. You get over it pretty quick being that it's in a warehouse district with delicious food and you're most likely there during your lunch hour for a quick bite instead of a romantic dinner. I ordered one of the lunch specials which was paella and really expected a small portion for the price ($10.99), but not at all! The table also comes with limes, bread, and salsa. This will be my new go to when I'm in the mood to go out around the office!

Larry S. and I got sucked into the black hole of Hialeah where the streets have two names and the space-time continuum reaches the inflection point where the GPS fails. When this unfortunate event happens (rarely, fortunately), it's usually met with frustration and wasted time. Yesterday, however, it resulted in us finding Cod Seafood! Don't let Hialeah's sketchy zoning turn you off. Yes, it's a seafood restaurant next to train tracks and industrial warehouses, but thanks to the same magic that warps Miami's usually reliable street grid system, the fumes from the nearby paint factory give Cod Seafood a wide berth. Note - we also found the location of all of the socks that go missing in the dryer. They're here in Hialeah, being darned by Jimmy Hoffa. The restaurant is clean and well-maintained with a basic interior decor. They have a fish market where I believe you can purchase fish and have them prepare it for you right there, or you can take it home. No fishy smell inside at all! They also have a great menu with lots of different options, including reasonably priced breakfast specialties. We ordered fried calamari, a bacalao croquette, oysters and ceviche. The food was ready quickly and was absolutely fresh and delicious! The standout for me was the calamari; crisp and not at all greasy. The ceviche was a perfect acidic palate cleanser garnished with plenty of cilantro. Due to language barriers, we didn't realize the oysters would come in a cocktail sauce, but Larry reported that the raw bivalves were deliciously fresh and tender (I did not partake. Raw oysters = eww! Not to mention that they function as the waterway's liver, filtering out all the garbage with which we defile our waters. But I digress...). The bacalao fritter was approximately 95% fish with very little filler. The service was fast and friendly, although please note that no one working there speaks much English. Even if you have zero command of Spanish (which, let's be honest, if that's the case, you'd be nowhere near Hialeah; the gravitational force field surrounding the city would sense that and repel you immediately), you can still point at what you want and the server is going to make every effort to ensure you get it. Oh, and for all that fresh and delicious fish, the total came to $30. The ceviche alone would have been $30 in Wynwood or South Beach. I have never been so happy to get lost in Hialeah!

Have seen the seafood market sign many times. Never noticed they also had a restaurant . A very Latin atmosphere which was fine. In for dinner on a Saturday at 5 PM. Not busy. Server brings water with lime wedges, bread and a salsa which was very good. Ordered fillet of grouper grilled with onions, plantains and white rice with red beans. $ 14.99 The reds were a nice change from the normal black. For dessert - House made Flan. $ 3.99 Everything was tasty and a good portion. I will be back.

One of my go to fish markets that is also a restaurant. It is truly a hidden gem in the inner-city. I usually come here during lunch because it is quick and tasty. They have great lunch specials. If you don't want a lunch special, you can pick out your fish and have them cook it for you right there! The lunch portions are filling. I am like a bottomless pit sometimes and this place filled me up. I've never bought fresh fish from here so I can't comment on that service. The waiting staff was super nice and helped my coworkers and I the first time we went. After that we really didn't need their help and once they got to know us they already knew what we wanted. The prices are reasonable whether you get the lunch special or something off of their regular menu. Fresh seafood at a great price. You can't beat that!

Cute little hidden restaurant with the freshest seafood. They had fresh raw kingfish, shrimp, snapper and other seafood in a clear refrigerated display case to buy and cook for yourself, as well as a whole menu of made to order food. I ordered a seafood Mecca of calamari, shrimp, lobster and mussels in a garlic butter scampi. Honestly the best part of my experience was Ruben. We came here twice because of him! His staff was also so helpful and patient because we literally took 5 mins to order and never once did they rush us. I really appreciated that. I would recommend this place fir fresh seafood and great service. I've been twice, once when it was dead and once when it was packed and service stayed consistent.

This place is Miami best fish restaurant. A hidden gem. The whole hog snapper fried is amazing and the shrimp in garcia us one of my favorites. everything is good and the best part is the service and people that work there not to mention how wonderful the owners are. Please do yourself a a favour and go try this place out.

The food here great. I stayed pretty close in the area and whenever I'm in town visiting I look forward to making a stop here for the breaded shrimp, while fried snapper and plantains. Delicious and at a great price. The seafood is fresh and made to order. The appetizer (bread and salsa mix) is delicious,it always have me wanting more.

what an unexpected surprise. right smack in the middle of the Hialeah industrial area.... this gem. I ordered the jumbo shrimp in garlic sauce... the food is so fresh. The fish selection is extensive, service is good and you park right outside. Delicious meal, so satisfying. The servings are big. Yum yum! Go. Now! :)

A local favorite, fresh fish grilled and seasoned to perfection. Sides were excellent and you have to try the 4 leches. Friendly waitstaff and reasonably priced. A must try while in Miami

What a pleasant find for a Sunday Lunch. Where the food and service are both on point. Arrived a little after 12pm and a few other customers were already seated enjoying their starters. We ordered a Pitcher of fresh squeezed limonade (my favorite thing to drink) and the Cod and Fish fitters. This is only issue, they still were cold in the middle. I didn't send them back nor did I complained. My wife still ate them and truth be told, the waitress was so nice and I didn't feel like killing the good energy vibe she was giving off. Next up was the fried grouper dinner for the wife and the grilled Covina for me, both of us had the red beans and white rice. Both were exceptional delicious. I also ordered a Minuta (fish sandwich) it was one of the best I've ever had. They are competing with my all time favorite spot the Bahamas Fish Market so this is a big compliment to them. Lastly the Flan... very good as well, but my wife and I both like our sugar syrup (caramel) burnt a little more on the top, it's make a better tasting flan in our opinion. Overall this is a solid restaurant and they have earned our business and we will be back very soon. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience.

Looking for a fresh seafood experience...look no further. There is no sea view or the smell of the ocean, it's surrounded by warehouses but it is the best seafood in Miami. Where else can you get a whole fried snapper prepared Cuban style with two sides a drink a desert and still not spend $20. The staff are friendly and always smiling, the service is fast, and the food is superb. You have to order the lemonade...I don't know what the secret is but it is the best I have ever had and I am sure you will agree! This Urban Brotha loves everything about this restaurant. The plus is, there is also a seafood market right there, so you can have a bite and still take home fresh fish for dinner!

There are many places you can go to get Ceviche but hands down this is the place above all places! Fresh and always a good portion of ceviche! I visit this place a couple of times a month and honestly have never had a bad lunch or dinner. The folks are friendly and hospitable the food is fresh and the prices are fair.

This place is really a hole in the wall no frills place but the seafood and appetizers are amazing! Friendly staff quick service and definitely fresh! If you are going for frills this is not the place! If you are going for some great food, then you will not be disappointed!

Really enjoyed this unique find! My dad being from FL knows all the great finds and where they actually have fresh seafood! This place did not disappoint. Portions were huge and service was great. I got the garlic shrimp that had a huge portion of shrimp, with white rice, beans and a side salad. My hubby got a huge fried fish with rice as well and plantains. Prices were also exceptional in comparison to other places. Very clean inside and cute decor. Will be here again once I'm back in town!

This place was really packed not too much seating because the price and taste is beyond great ! Service took a while but they did advise they were short hand that day. I am returning here soon to continue to try the rest of the menu I had the snapper it was delicious I want to go back for the yellow rice everyone seems to be bragging about

Great fresh seafood and perfect big size proportions. Prices are fair and the daily specials are under 12$. Waitresses very friendly and nice.

So came to this place for lunch with the family. This place is not that big and the tables are a bit close to each other. Nonetheless this is a Spanish speaking place primerly so you might have difficulty if you only speak English. We ordered the special shrimp al ajillo and it was not good it just had a bad taste to them and the Shrimp was hard. My father ordered this I would've returned them. I had a fish filet with a side of salad was delicious and fresh. Sister had the seafood pasta with shrimp, octopus and calamari she said it was delicious the shrimp here was smaller but tastier. My mom had the cevhice and fried pargo which was amazing. I would definitely return if in the area. Their Cuban bread is amazing and so is the tres leche ! Don't forget your Cuban coffee

I went today for a business lunch and i was highly impressed with the quality and variety. Definitely going back, the hog snapper and yellowtail were excellent, and the shrimps had a good size. Best seafood in miami for the price.

Fresh seafood and specials every day. The decor is pretty basic but if it keeps the prices low, I'm ok with it. Wide selection of fresh seafood available at the market. The only thing that I did not like and maybe it's only an issue for a few, is the snapper filet on the grill is served with skin on the bottom. I would of preferred broiled but the taste was good. I would visit here again.

I've eaten here 3 times now and continue to be impressed! Calamari, salmon, shrimp, salsas and sauces are excellent. Casual decor and friendly service secure this as a go-to lunch spot.

I went to lunch today (feb1618) and I was seated at the bar when I saw the cook drop my fish at the floor grab it and put back in my plate, nasty, desgusting place !!! And a brazilian lady so sarcastic with the situation said " thanks for your complain"

After passing this place time and time again we decided to try it for lunch yesterday. After viewing the menu I was hesitant being that for their fish sandwich you have a choice of tilapia, swai, or snapper. We ordered the snapper but as I suspected that is not what we got. The fish was not fried like other restaurants but was wet and seemed not cooked through and was not snapper and still had skin on it. The croquettas we ordered (lobster and fish) were excellent, they put down a wonderful homemade salsa of tomatoes, fresh cilantro and red onion with the bread, the sandwich was dressed nicely, and a wonderful cafe cubano afterword, but with all its good points nothing could make up for the bad fish. To make matters worse we both got sick afterward. I would never ever return after this bad experience.

COD is a fish shop with a restaurant. It's located in the industrial area by the airport but don't lets its first appearance fool you; the food is fantastic and well worth the trip. Fresh with a Latin flair. The restaurant is always full at lunch and is really a local hideaway. I can't wait to go back.

Great seafood and amazing service which is surprising for the area. All there seafood is very fresh and prepared to order right in front of you. They have daily specials and a daily cream soup which never dissaponts.
