"This gastronomic oasis, located along a busy pedestrianised street in the historic quarter of Cádiz, will definitely leave its mark thanks to its contemporary take on some of the more hidden aspects of the city’s cuisine over its 3 000-year history. The decorative combination of stone, brick and whitewashed walls that also extends to the small tables by the kitchen induces a sense of calm that provides the perfect habitat for chef Léon Griffioen (originally from the Netherlands) and his wife Paqui Márquez (sommelier and front of house) to showcase their skills. The cuisine is centred around two exclusive tasting menus (Qadis and Gadeira) which provide an insight into the flavours of Cádiz’s cuisine from a contemporary perspective, revealing specific aspects of its history through the region’s very best ingredients. Examples include the elegant “Candié” eggnog with prawns, the tomato escabeche with red shrimp, the “navazo”-grown vegetables from kitchen gardens by the coast, the estuary sea bream, the corvina fish “en adobo” etc." - Michelin Inspector

Wonderful evening and journey through the history of Cadiz and its food. We thoroughly enjoyed the dishes. We also think the price is very low for the high quality products and amount of food that goes into each dish. Very good price to quality ratio! The chocolate dessert was insanely good. 10/10 would recommend.

Everything here was top notch ! We went with the cotinusa menu and liked everything. Two of the dishes were salty to our taste but we still loved them! Definitely worth checking out! Enjoy!!

Very nice. Worth the visit. An evening full of gastronomical delight that flew by due to a warm atmosphere created by staff, location and open kitchen. This was our second time in six month with yet another amazing menu.

We got the Gadeira menu with 16 servings. Amazing food, competent and friendly service by the competent staff. The concept of the menu is very well thought out with the traditions and history of Cádiz. Spectacular experience on all levels.

We had an amazing New Year’s Day lunch here with their chef menu. Best fine dining so far we have found in Cadiz. Excellent service as well as prepared dishes. The oil that was made from fish during Roman times was fantastic. It is an experience and a reason to dress up and go out for a special treat.

Amazing tasting menu - reinvention of classics, perfect progression and explosion of tastes. Service is perfect and everything is perfectly timed, served with information for the course. Still, the best surprise is the taste - perfect blend and nothing overpowering. They deserve a Michelin star!
