The grinder sandwich was fabulous! The pork tacos lacked spices and were bland. The service was good until the waitress gave a whatever response. I said the soup was great she said that’s good and walked away like whatever. The restaurant appearance is inviting and looks family oriented. Regarding the waitress, one was nice but the blond was not genuine. Very disappointing. I do recommend but set your expectations. Btw the banana pudding is out of this world!

Came in with my family, we sat in the upper part because it was a little packed. We waited about 25 minutes before I went down and asked for some menus and to let them know we were here. Kind of a rude response from the bartender: “someone will be up there when they get up there.” Cool- I know we’re not special and I’m just here for the kiddos. We got our server, waited about 45 minutes for our food. My daughter’s food was wrong. She ordered the pork nachos, and got chicken instead. Luckily she’s not allergic. Still fine, I know they were busy. People started leaving and business was slowing down. We were finished eating and waited almost an hour for our check, and to go boxes. We gathered the trash and neatly placed it on the table to help the server out and came down to the car area to see our waitress. I had already asked several times for the check at this point. She walked past us about 5 times and never said anything to us. The manager finally came over and didn’t know we had been there for so long. He got us our check and a to go box. Unfortunately I tip for good service, and I feel like our waitress copped an attitude with us for no apparent reason. So she could have had a 25%-30% tip but treated us unfairly. I’m also a server, and regardless of how busy things are, I treat everyone ESPECIALLY families with the same respect I do to people who drink and spend boohoos of money. Not impressed with the waitstaff. Also overheard one of the other servers talking about how they hate their jobs. Management is great, serving team… idk.

Went with a friend and while the waitress was sweet and the 2 drinks and the appetizer were good, the total price as well as how they treated us was pretty bad. We got two cocktails and one pretzel to share and it was 45 dollars. Make that make sense. 45 dollars for 3 things? Then I saw that it was half price wells and the pretzel discounted to 8.99 for healthcare workers. When I asked for the discount the kind waitress went to get someone to ring us up and this woman was so rude. She straight up ignored me when I was trying to ask her a question, in the middle of me asking her something she started talking to someone else, and then got big attitude when we tried to hand her the tip for our waitress. She was so rude. And after the discount it was still 34 dollars. For 2 cocktails and one pretzel? How? I should have asked to see the receipt but we just wanted to get out of there. Drinks were good but not good enough to pay that much money and to be treated like that. Not a fan. Will not be going back.

Google
We travel a lot with work and have the pleasure of being here for a bit, and I looked this place up, read the reviews, pictures, and the chicken salad croissant looked absolutely amazing. So I stopped in to order one to-go with the choice of Jalapeño soup. When I got home, I was less than impressed, as you can see in the photo. There was maybe "I'm being generous here" a tablespoon of chicken salad and a slice of tomato thicker than the whole sandwich alone. What was even more disappointing was it was absolutely delicious. The chicken salad had a wonderful consistency, lettuce was crisp, the croissant was toasted nicely even the block of tomato was good. Jalapeño soup was probably some of the best I've had. But, to buy a tomato sandwich for $15, this was a disappointment. I gave 2 stars because the flavors and seasonings were solid. I want to try other things, but I'm reluctant to feel like I could be wasting my money again. I also provided a picture of what I thought I would be getting, or at least something close to it.

After waiting 30 minutes we were told the waiter forgot to enter our order. We couldn’t stay and wait for another 30 minutes as we had places to be. Give it a skip if you have time as an issue. We had three glasses of wine while waiting and there was not even an offer to comp even one. We went hungry for lunch. 😳

Google
Kind of obsessed with this trendy little spot and the shopping next door! The Old Baker cocktail is definitely strong and definitely delicious! Also really loved The Tommy cocktail. The personal pizzas were a good size and reasonably priced. Definitely give this place a visit when you make your way through town!

May 18th, 2025 It was a beautiful afternoon in downtown Mineral Wells for enjoying the back patio. I was served a MOST DELICIOUS BloodyMary cocktail. Wonderful service.

This one was a little different then my normal reviews, a little over a week ago I was approached by a lady that wanted to remain anonymous in the review process but wanted my opinion on this specific establishment while I was a little confused at the time because I thought this was just another coffee shop attached to a thrift store of sorts that I'd never been to before I agreed to do the review and am so glad I did. First I would like to say I was very wrong this is NOT AN ORDINARY COFFEE SHOP ATTACHED TO A THRIFT STORE! In more ways then one I see now it is truly a intrical part of the heart of Mineral Wells and why I was approached. Whether you're coming in to eat a delicious meal from Coffee & Cocktails, sit on the patio and enjoy their LIVE MUSIC ON FRI & SAT nights 8pm to 11pm or to just grab a coffee/drink from the full bar to sip on as you shop for your latest seasonal decor, fresh packages of meats, jewelry, sweet & savory treats or gifts of all shapes sizes and categories you can trust that this place is a one stop shop for all of your holiday needs. MY EXPERIENCE Visual - as soon as you walk in the first door you are over come with smells of deliciousness its then I realized I could either get a coffee at the window and walk around the shop or go into the restaurant, I chose to eat first and proceeded to the second door in to the restaurant where I was Greeted by Lynsie who was welcoming. She let me know I could sit anywhere and she would be with me in a moment. There was maybe 12 people in the dinning room including myself. Most seemed like they were satisfied with their meal and ready to go. As I got to the table I realized there is a small vase of fresh real carnations on the tables for an elegant touch. I looked around and was delighted to see 2 of their walls one as a chalk board drink menu and one announcements of the specials through the days of the week. The stained glass plains in the window caught my eye because they show different points of views from all walks of life. Luckily I was able to witness Ms. TJ turn the atmosphere of the restaurant from a spookey fall Halloween 🎃 to a calm and cozy Christmas 🎄 themed Wonderland with her beautiful new decorations. FOOD/BEVERAGES As I looked over the menu I ordered an iced Caramel coffee which I quickly found out was better then a 💫💵. Michaela (Manager) and Lynsie the server did a great job helping me choose as I took a while to look over the menu and landed on their 76067 Club ( with a few modifications) I did no tomatoes and added mozzarella and the chicken pelablano soup. When it came out I was very impressed by how fresh and soft The croissant looked. The mozzarella was fresh, only to be outshined by the triple berry jam and how all the flavors complemented each other making this the best club I've ever had. The Chicken Pelablano soup had a bite to it for sure that was cut perfectly by dipping the club in it. All together this and the Monicristo sliders with chedder potato soup I took home to my children were an eye opening look in to the hidden treasures down town Mineral Wells and COFFEE & COCKTAILS have to offer.

Yelp
You can tell this establishment is lacking management. We sat outside and there were leaves and dirty tables and the place had just opened. We ordered two drinks and sat near where the musician was setting up. We decided to move upstairs to get a better view and watch the sunset. The old baker drink was terrible and we would recommend avoiding it. I had a grapefruit drink that was pretty good. The charcuterie board was good. I noticed the price on the menu and the price we were charged had a $3 price overcharge which was annoying. I have no idea what types of cheese we were provided. They were both good. We also got the bread and butter with jam which was tasty. The deviled eggs were on point. The musician was good and the service was OK. If you sit inside the bar area I think you would have a completely different experience.

Yelp
With all the great options in town- this is the best! Love the people, generous, delish portions and incredible drinks. Currently with the Irish coffee on a Saturday afternoon. Munching on Pesto sandwich on ciabatta hoagie. Gourmet and bartenders here are the real deal. Also with store attached. Nice chill spot.

Yelp
A high school reunion brought us to check out the strip in Mineral Wells for the first time in a long time and its nice to see more parts of this downtown strip that has so much potential, getting fleshed out with cool places such as Coffee and Cocktails (I do think the name needs some work though). Walking in you're greeted with a recently renovated area, that has some great bar seating, but also preserved the elements of the building itself with the exposed brick walls. This place also has a massive outdoor patio with a section that is also two stories, so come fall, this should be a great place for your early morning coffee or to enjoy a happy hour. The food and drinks are pretty solid as well. We enjoyed our Margherita pizza and the old fashioned I had as well was on point. They have a brunch menu as well as a great selection of sandwiches so we definitely plan to come back on our next Mineral Wells trip try more of it out.

Yelp
I was staying at the famous Crazy Water hotel, but their main restaurant is only open Thursday- Sunday, so I walked around downtown and found this place. The food was good and simple. I gad Flatbread margarita pizza, but added chicken and for some reason just had to order chips and guacamole and salsa as well. It was a Tuesday night and the patio area was fun with all the local talent and passersby performing karaoke. After a few drinks all were great singers.. Either way it was entertaining. Service was good but some seemed to think it was slow, but I really didn't pay attention. So it was fine for me. If you're ever in mineral wells Tx you should definitely check it out and stay at the Crazy Water Hotel.

Yelp
Was shopping at the Market (attached to this place) and decided to go ahead and stop for a convenient lunch. The place is cute, appears clean, and is setup to be enjoyed all hours of the day (coffee, cocktails, & live music on the patio). There are cute tiny vases with fresh flowers on each table and there is an outdoor area with cute lights and I imagine is used for their live music nights and in warmer weather. To start, I enjoyed a delicious strawberry basil margarita. It went down too easy. For lunch, I had the old smokey sandwich which has turkey, bacon, cheese, lettuce, tomato, & a chive spread nestled in a croissant. I'm not a fan of croissants and almost asked for a substitution but glad I didn't because this croissant was soft but was also sturdy enough to hold up without falling apart. So good! For the side, you can choose from the soup of the day, chips, or a salad. I got a salad with ranch. Today's soups were chicken gumbo or lasagna. I certainly recommend this place to stop and eat and or have a drink when you're in the area. I'm looking forward to watching this strip (and town) hopefully grow back to it's glory days and beyond while preserving some history and its unique charm.

Yelp
Food is good for Mineral Wells standards. We had the pizza that night. Service was just ok. Had to seat ourselves, ask for menus and ask for a waiter in order to get service. They were slow but not very busy. I did notice the majority of the waitress' were sloppy in appearance coupled with the lack of service. Ambiance is typical of an out side patio. Furniture was nice, lots of seating. Enjoyed the outside entertainment.

Candi A.

Yelp
Met my best friend for a long overdue venting session. We were early so were able to have a private, much needed conversation without being bothered. Staff very friendly and just the right level of attentiveness. Small menu but still good variety. Good bar selection. Outdoor seating is desired. Whether inside or outside-nice, clean, comfortable place.

Michael A.

Yelp
This is my first review ever. Way overpriced for food that seemed like it came pre-packaged. Chicken Noodle Soup tasted like canned Campbells. Pizza was frozen Totino's. Now questioning if anything is freshly made. Very underwhelming. Disappointed because both inside and outside seem like a cool place to hangout. Unfortunately, will not be returning. *Service wasn't terrible.

Sydnee C.

Yelp
I just wish ppl were more genuine and opened minded and not closed minded bullies! I tried to give this place a chance again after the first couple times, but it's always the stares and judgment. I just want to be able to go somewhere with good energy and good vibes without feeling out of place and on the verge of an anxiety attack. Also, they need more training on mixology when it comes to their drinks, because yuck! And don't get me started on Mike!

Yelp
My husband and I love this place! The bar/restaurant has excellent fresh tasty food, the service is good too.

Yelp
Unfortunately the customer service and the coffee is terrible. The woman at the counter (a brunette who looked to be around 30-35 years old) was exceptionally rude, was actively using profanity in front of customers (really unprofessional) and stopped making my Cappuccino to look at her phone. She also made me a large latte at first, and when i told her i had asked for a Cap, she glared at me and began to remake it. A really bad experience because of her.

Mona M.

Yelp
This place is a rip off. Barely any meat on the sandwiches which cost $14. The waitress failed to mention that a glass of mimosa is the same price as a carafe so my 1 glass of mimosa was $10. She also failed to tell us if you use a credit card it will cost you $2. Two sandwiches and one mimosa cost $50. And my salad bowl had a lot of chips in it. Never again.

Alexa P.

Yelp
Cool little place in town. Good atmosphere staff is nice which is a plus most of the drive-thru coffee shops in town. Their staff members are snotty and uncordial.
google avatar

Autumn M.

Yelp
Small, quaint, comfortable coffee shop that also serves food and alcohol. Live music on weekends. Barstools are very comfortable! Excellent all day option!

Yelp
We adore this place! I take my kids here during the day and it's also a fun little spot for date nights after dinner. I love the interior design. It has great lighting. Always a good vibe here. Food and drinks are always good.

Yelp
What a fun place. The service is outstanding. We were greeted right away. We had multiple people ask us if we need anything. The drinks we had the lemon, blueberry mule, which was outstanding. Got good music. It's a good vibe. There's a small market/general store type thing right next-door that sells all kinds of things you would expect to get in a Gift shop type environment. It's just overall the whole places outstanding if you're in mineral Wells definitely stop by.

Yelp
What a wonderful find. We enjoyed some retail therapy and holiday spirit at the adjacent Market at 76067. Initially thinking we'd get a hot chocolate, once seeing the menu, we committed to lunch. It was a great decision. Beyond the pub fare with a flair on the menu, there were additional soup and dessert options on C and C's blackboard. With the temperature hovering below 50, soup seeking was in order. My dilemma was choosing from 3 variations of chicken; noodle, tortilla and poblano. Our waitress recommended the poblano but I was still torn. But the lovely and gracious Mrs. G, recognizing my dilemma, ordered the chicken noodle soup as her side to her Monte Christo Sliders. She's a keeper! I ordered the Italian on ciabatta, switching out the spinach for lettuce and the Gouda for provolone. C and C knows how to make a sandwich! The roll came toasted but the cold cuts were cold (as they should be). Delicious. Mrs. G reported her sliders were more than satisfying. And she did get the hot chocolate too! As for the soups I completely consumed the poblano and sampled the noodle, taking the remainder home. But upon completion of this review I'll finish it off happily. And I hope you come to share that joy too when you patronize Coffee and Cocktails!

Julie A.

Yelp
Great cocktails at a great location with huge windows. Fun to visit the adjoining shops.

Yelp
This place is great! We had great drinks and the food was amazing. The only thing better was the service at the bar. The bar and outside had comfortable seating and very clean. So much fun and will definitely come back!!!!

Joey M.

Yelp
I am a woman with a disability and need a service dog for a nerve condition I sustained from a car accident. I always bring my paperwork with me to show that we are legitimate. The owner/manager of this place would not even listen to me and kept saying for us to sit outside when it was 105°. I have never been discriminated against because of my disability until tonight. He just kept saying to sit outside and he was incredibly cold and indifferent to my situation. We had plans to have dinner there with friends and sing karaoke but I can't possibly sit in 105° heat. I'm not sure what to say to anyone else who wants to visit this place. I am still blown away at his lack of compassion.
google avatar

Clint T.

Yelp
This is a really cool place in mineral Wells. It was my go to place on Tuesdays because they had karaoke outside on the patio, but they decided to move it inside for the last few weeks and it's just not the same. The prices of drinks are kind of high. The staff there are all friendly they have a few food items that can be purchased from the grill. I normally get the guacamole and chips, which is really good. They do have live music occasionally, which is also very nice for mineral Wells.
google avatar

Celsey L.

Yelp
The bartender was brave enough to make me a fancy cocktail I've only had in Scotland. I go here because of the cocktails and the food is always pretty good! Great wait staff.

Yelp
We grabbed dinner about 6p the night before we left our stay at the Crazy Water Hotel (girls trip) ... it had a fun atmosphere and a guy was setting up for live music later in the evening ... it's a cute concept and has a window between it and The Market at 76067 to serve coffee, etc ... it wasn't busy at all, there were a couple of people at the bar ... everyone was very nice ... I got the chicken pesto sandwich which was good, but on the smaller side ... as they have goat cheese on the menu, I asked if I could substitute it for the provolone but they only had a flavored goat cheese so I passed ... the chips that came with my sandwich were heavily peppered, which most people probably like, but I don't so I asked if they had any other kind of chips but they didn't. In that I don't drink alcohol, I cannot comment regarding the bar, bartender, drinks etc.

Kevin L.

Yelp
The pulled pork pizza was excellent! Called in a pickup order and have only been there once, but will definitely go back.

Savanah M.

Yelp
Drink was amazing, got the lemon blueberry mule. Great flavor, refreshing, made me feel like I had brushed my teeth this morning. The chicken pesto was also great. Tasted like my grandma made it in her shack, but in the best way. I must complain however. The bruschetta was atrocious. It looked as if someone had chewed up sausage and spit it out again onto a bread slice shaped cracker. While the flavor was amazing, I wish I had eaten it with my eyes closed because the near gagable appearance sent shivers through my throat. Tasted like yummy human food, looked like dog food. Whoever thought it was a good idea to ball up mozzarella and soak it in balsamic vinegar was wrong.

Yelp
Quick service and cute store, feels like the heart of Mineral Wells -- talked to probably 4 or 5 staff members and all were beyond polite
google avatar

Sarah F.

Yelp
Wow!! I am so impressed! I've heard a lot about this place, but wasn't willing to drive to MW to try it. Today, we made the trek. :) Everything was so fresh! The menu is original. It's not the same old fare you get everywhere else. I had the chicken salad croissant and cream of Jalepeno soup. Both were excellent, but I was VERY pleased with the soup! A member of our party had a bloody mary and said it was it was the best in Parker County! The garnish was pickled okra, an olive, and cocktail onion. I could tell it was NOT a mix. Our server was Ivy and she was friendly and attentive. It was definitely worth the drive. We will be back!

Robbi B.

Yelp
Service is AWFUL. Beyond slow even when there's only a handful of guests. Took at least 30 min to get a carafe of mimosas and some water. Could be a great spot, but we will likely not to return.
google avatar

Nina M.

Yelp
Mixed drinks here are okay, could use a bigger variety of beer. The food choices are very limited and fall under lite bites, that said, and to be fair it's in the name of the establishment -coffee & cocktails. The taco bus offers good tacos but is not always there so if you're looking for a heavier meal (burgers, steaks, etc.) you won't find it here. The last time I was in I brought a business colleague in from out of country and was sort of embarrassed. I'd gone on and on about the "new place" in town next to the Market but the service, food and bathroom (cleanliness) was not in-keeping with the class of the adjoining Market. staff wasn't up to par with an attitude of happy to see you and attentive....I'm hoping it will get better again. Coffee drinks are mediocre, could use a better consistency for drinks and a much better bean. But if you're looking for a place to chill or meet up with friends for some drinks and live music on the weekends this is a good choice. We will try again in hopes to give a better review.

Lyn B.

Yelp
I have been here multiple times and have never been disappointed. Usually I have been shopping in their amazing market first then go to Coffee and Cocktails to relax. Probably my most favorite thing is their jalapeno soup. It just hits the spot!

Tim B.

Yelp
Love it. If you haven't tried this place, you need to. They have live music, great drinks and the friendliest staff! I always run into cool people here. They also have an amazing gift shop next door with unique items you won't find anywhere else. Hidden gem!
google avatar

Sue S.

Yelp
The new venue is wonderful with lots of customers while we were there. The waitress was the very best. However neither my husband's mocha latte nor my iced chai tea had much flavor. The drinks need much more flavor.

Kelly N.

Yelp
I've been to Coffee & Cocktails four times this month. The food is good...if you can ever get a waitress. Three out of the four times, I've had to wait 15 to 20 minutes before anyone even acknowledged I was there. And the place was not busy. This last time, I had guests so I got up and went behind the bar to tell them we needed to order our food. It's really embarrassing when you recommend a restaurant to an out of towner and then they get very poor service. I'm no longer recommending this restaurant.
google avatar

Josiah B.

Yelp
The bartender was INCREDIBLY rude. My wife took her drink onto the patio to have a smoke and the bartender followed her outside and said, "give me that drink, get the fuck out of here and don't come back". Absolutely unnecessary, very rude, and just over all very unprofessional. He could have just told us that drinks weren't allowed on the patio. Btw there were NO signs saying, "no drinks on the patio". Worst bar in Mineral Wells FOR SURE.

Emilee J.

Yelp
We waited 45 minutes to get a mimosa flight. We didn't get an apology or anything. We didn't get a discount for having to wait so long. The food and drinks were great but terrible service. We asked for the flight three times and took 45 minutes to get it. We were there an hour and a half.

Oliver K.

Yelp
The staff seems ornery and I had soup and sandwich. I experienced this before. My soup was barely warm. Sandwich was good.. I don't think this place really wants me there.
google avatar

Doris R.

Yelp
We have been two times to this restaurant. Excellent food and service both times. We are drawn to old restored buildings, so that is another bonus. We recommend.

Yelp
Love the live music! Nice outdoor patio with lights and comfortable seating. Good selection of coffee and food. A great place to unwind after work.

Lexis N.

Yelp
Love Coffee & Cocktails! The coffee is delicious & the drinks are even better! The food is great for lunch, an appetizer, or light dinner. Highly recommend the Mineral Wells Pizza, Charcuterie Board, and the Holy Guacamole Sandwich (on a bagel)! I have been there numerous times and will definitely keep coming back. Occasionally slow service so I see how some reviewers could say that, but normally I have great service! Amazing lunch spot, or appetizers & drinks before dinner! Also they have great live music on the patio! Great, fun new addition to downtown!

Shanna W.

Yelp
This place is so cool! Atmosphere is awesome! Wait staff was very attentive and friendly. Unique cocktails. Great food! The owners are doing an amazing job of revitalizing downtown Mineral Wells.

Melody J.

Yelp
Coffee & Cocktails is the best bar in Mineral Wells. always exceptional service and drinks. Ivy and Kendal always go above and beyond to deliver great and fast service. I always love my experience here!

Deborah T.

Yelp
Do used to be our fav place ever!!!! However, everything has slipped. A) they need to hire a bartender. Drinks are incorrect frequently! Food such as meat balls and cheeseboard were to die for! Not so much now food is burnt and dry! Atmosphere is wonderful but service is very poor! Potential if someone comes in and takes over. Won't be back until I know that has happened. Currently not worth the price!

Sarah W.

Yelp
We were really looking forward to eating here, but were underwhelmed. We were here at lunch time and even though there weren't many people, our service was extremely slow. The waitress was nice, but they should have had more staff working. Even with ordering cold sandwiches and salads, our food took much longer than necessary to come out to us. The really disappointing part was that the general manager was sitting at a table next to us and he and the two women he was discussing marketing with were served before us. The only thing I was happy with was the mimosa flight, but again, it took way too long to come out for only needing to mix together champagne and juice. Also, there are no changing tables in the restrooms. Being attached and associated with the market and flower shop should lend itself to catering to a range of customers, and I felt this was a major inconvenience. I would like for this establishment to consider the comeback that mineral wells is trying to make, and think about how tourism is being perceived in the community. I would be extremely hesitant on returning here.
