"Coffee & Tea Collective, East Village by Fifty & Fifty. You can literally taste the quality at this small-batch roastery and tasting room. They specialize in a "by-the-cup experience" with different brews and loose leaf teas, but have also managed to create an atmosphere that's an experience all in its itself. Industrial, modern, airy, and one-of-a-kind."

Coffee & Tea Collective is a perfect spot for business meetings or grabbing a cup of great quality coffee. There is a lot of seating inside and they make very good coffee. They serve a small selection of healthy pastries and toasts. They serve cold brew coffee and tea as well.

The staff were very friendly, the service fast and plenty of open tables were open when I went (~9 am). Only reason I’m not giving them 5 stars is that the coffee taste didn’t totally agree with me. Not sure if it was burned or if I didn’t order the right thing for me, could be a toss up. If you’re a mug person, recommend ordering a large batch brew coffee and asking for a mug, the staff agreed to give a refill since the mugs are on the small side. Nice breezes here, too!

One of those places you wish there were more of in San Diego. Coffee is great because they actually put thought into it. The atmosphere is very Portland-like, hipster and laid back. The only thing, i wish they were open later.

Really cute coffee shop! I can’t really judge their coffee because I had a chai latte with a shot of espresso. It was very good, but I wish more chai flavor came through. I tried my friends vanilla latte and it was tasty - perfectly sweetened so it was just a hint and not too sweet.

Simplistic menu but well worth a visit. We enjoyed a cappuccino, cortado and the avocado garlic toast. Great pre flight snack!

Excellent coffee. They really take pride in handcrafted cups of delicious coffee. Cool shop, especially the long live edge communal counter. It has power outlets and decent wifi. There used to be a juice shop inside, can't wait to see how they repurpose that space. Service was adequate at best. The young girl at the counter has zero understanding of good customer service. But it's not terrible, just lacking. And the coffee is really good so it makes up for that minor grievance.

Good coffee and nice space with a good amount of tables and bar seating. All the baristas are laid back and friendly.

Love this spot! Had a HARD craving for a fresh, cup of coffee. A friend and I met here (he's 80% coffee) and the vibe is so chill here. Each cup is individually made, so there may be a wait but it's for sure worth the wait. Plus, their avocado toast is SO BOMB. I think about it on the reg. This is not a quick, grab a cup and go kind of place. Enjoy your coffee here and enjoy your morning here.
