Coffee Bar in the Mission is Closed - Eater SF

"Coffee Bar, a large cafe in a converted Mission District warehouse known for its fast wifi, power outlets, and oak-roasted espresso beans from Oakland's Mr. Espresso, has closed its Mission location after more than a decade. The downtown locations at 101 Montgomery and 433 Kearny Street remain open." - Caleb Pershan

Very pleasant little cafe with indoor seating on two levels and outdoor patio seating. On Sunday midday, almost every seat was filled, and at least half the diners were planted with their laptops. We tried a couple of salads and they were both fresh and tasty.

Shared a breakfast burrito and bagel. Both were good but nothing special. Drip coffee was good. They used to have their own coffee beans many months ago. Not sure what happened but I didn't see any of their branded beans for sale.

For early birds: please note that although opening hrs are from 7, at 07:10 it was still closed. Great place to work - full marks for the ambiance, the decor, the internet speed, less in regards to what is perceived as unhappy staff. ✭✭✭✭✭ Location : entry is closer to mariposa / florida - don't read Google address. Few blocks away from the BART with MUNI stops close by. In the quieter area between Mission Bay / Mission, it's relatively peaceful and quite neighborhood. ✭✭✭✭✭ Ambiance : spacious, plenty of seats. Choices go from outdoor seating, high tables, bannister seatings and tables for two or four. ✭✭✭✭✭ F&B : great coffee and extensive menu with great generous portions for their salad. Non Dairy options: soy, oat and almond for your latte and cappuccino. Pastry selection more limited than others. Tea and Kombucha are also available. ✭✭✭✭✩ Service : I wonder if I caught them at a bad time or whether the coffee brewer was having a bad day. Sulky unhappy face greets you, but still efficient in making the coffee and the food came very fast. Wifi: very stable WC: clean Big tables: yes Outlet: plenty

I had a very nice latte to go from here - good coffee and well made. The place has a good amount of light and feels like a good location to do a bit of work.

Pretty snobby for pretty mediocre coffee. Still, the café au lait is done right and the inside is cool. Good place to take out of towners to show them what a bubble we live in.

Quaint coffee bar with a good vibe, but slow wifi. I enjoyed the avocado toast and caramel latte.

My mistake! Cycled past numerous times. Stopped in: various coffee origins, bright, high roof, spacious modern interior. Laptop haven. Friendly staff. Breakfast foods. Rotating salad/sandwich options.
