"Located at 102 Franklin St. in South Quincy, I noted that the small local coffee chain Coffee Break Cafe opened a new location in late March; like other recent openings, it’s debuting without dine-in service due to the state mandate that prohibits dine-in until at least May 4." - Rachel Leah Blumenthal
I've had their regular coffee before and liked it. I recently got one of their specialty lattes and it was terrible especially considering the price. I got a hot specialty latte with oat milk and was charged $8.74 and the drink wasn't even good. They didn't heat up the milk so the latte ended up being lukewarm at best and I could only taste the caramel and none of the fall spices that the cozy crumble latte was supposed to have. I love supporting local businesses but if you're charging more than Starbucks for worse coffee, I expect a better drink.

For the past four and a half years I’ve had a great experience here. The staff was all knowing and prompt with online orders. The newer weekend staff is extremely slow with lines that I’ve never seen before and errors on my orders which hasn’t been an issue before. 5 stars for my previous experiences and 3 stars for how it is now.

Watered down iced latte w/first sip, inconsistent coffee service, one day is good but other days may not :(

Fresh baked items, such as muffins and bagels, coffee and tea (Two Leaves and a Bud brand), and plenty of gluten free, vegan, and traditional snacks)
There are three stairs to enter, but I’m sure you could sit at an outdoor table and have an order brought out if needed.
The chair was tasty, a little sweeter than I’d enjoy if I made it myself, and I tried a Berg Bite which wasn’t bad!

The two ladies working thanksgiving morning were so lovely and attentive! Was so excited to find out they have a variety of sugar free flavours including pumpkin pie!!

I don't see the point of taking down my order at the register if I'm asked to repeat it to the barrista, who then proceeds to make coffee with room temperature milk.
Is the "break" in "coffee break" supposed to mean "Hey, you've had nice coffee before, how about you take a break and have ours for a change?"

Yelp
Cute little spot with great service. The staff are very friendly and considerate (they had me taste to make sure I was happy with my coffee before I left). They have tons of flavored coffees that aren't sweetened, the flavors are in the beans. I tried their monthly special Dough Boy flavor which had a marshmallow cookie flavor that was delicious. No indoor seating, which was a bummer, but there are some outdoor seats set up!

Yelp
Great local spot for iced coffee. Rather than using artificial syrups, they brew their coffee with the flavors in it. That said don't except super sweet ice coffee drinks that taste more like a dessert shake. I like that they feature baked goods from local bakeries. Enjoyed finding a vegan, gluten free muffin from a place in New Hampshire. There is a small lot for parking and a handful of tables.

Yelp
Best chais in Quincy. Cute little spot with friendly people. Been going consistently ever since I moved to the area.

Yelp
Excellent coffee. Great service. Authentic. Why would one go to the big, bland chain across the street when you can come here, get real food, and support the local economy? Lots of traffic in and out demonstrates this place is great.

Yelp
This place was alright. When I went it felt chaotic as there was a line and the place is cramped with all that they have. The coffee was fine and I was told to cut my sweetness --- so if you're not a sweet fan look out for that!

Yelp
This micro-location of CBC is across the street from one of the busiest Dunkin' Donuts in the area and they hold their own! I'm sure it was a challenge over the pandemic year to have such a tiny shop with only a few able to fit inside at a time, but folks mostly seem happy to queue outside to wait. Service is great as you would expect from any other Coffee Break experience and the coffee is really amazing. Highly reccommended!

Yelp
Coffee Break is one of the staples in Quincy! I LOVE the wide variety of coffees, snacks, and other drinks! I have never had a coffee from Coffee Break that I didn't like. Also, the new Optimize drinks are amazing!
Love the staff at this location!

Yelp
Coffees great but online ordering is ALWAYS slower than going inside and waiting in the line because they don't check the order system often enough. Defeats the purpose of ordering ahead
