McCormick Place Loses Two Food Industry Trade Shows Due to Pandemic Worries | Eater Chicago

"The Fulton Market coffee shop launched a Women’s History Month bakery pop-up featuring four of the city’s bakers on a rotating weekly schedule to raise money for a nonprofit that encourages women to run for office; the series was assembled by the hotel’s Felicia Mayden and runs with successive bakers selling special treats across March." - Naomi Waxman

We stopped for a spot of lunch at this beautiful restaurant and it did not disappoint. The food was absolutely amazing and the staff were all lovely. The menu had something to offer for every one, we will absolutely be going back for more. Highly recommended!

The food is delicious and like nothing you’ve ever tasted before. The wine selection is wonderful and really interesting. The staff are very accommodating and cater to those with allergies/intolerances. 100% recommend.

Whilst visiting Bakewell recently, we enjoyed a fabulous lunch here. The menu has a variety of exciting choices and the drinks menu includes not only soft drinks and hot drinks, but bar choices too! We loved it so much that we booked for one of their Saturday tapas style nights. As we thought, this did not disappoint. The decor is fresh, clean and modern and the staff, both front of house and in the kitchen are friendly and very accommodating. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting good food in Bakewell.

On a lovely quaint little “high street”. Lots of treats and good coffee. Nice surrounding places to visit. Great spot. Instagram @kirbystaltari

Came in for a quick coffee and sandwich. Was really pleased when I saw they served a well regarded London coffee roaster (Caravan Coffee Roasters). Coffee was the best flat White I ve had in bakewell, and food was really good. Apparently its a well known chef (Lee Smith) that's been on Great British Menu. Overall really nice and will definitely be coming in the evening for their professional dinner menu 👍

Best brunch we’ve had in awhile. Their fried duck eggs focaccia and flat white are a must! Cafe owned and run by a lovely Australian couple - a Michelin Star chef too! Highly recommend. Definitely coming back here next time in Bakewell.

I was a little disappointed by my visit here. It’s a lovely space in the heart of Bakewell, but just slightly off the beaten track to avoid the summer crowds. Staff were friendly and attentive. I ordered the fried chicken flatbread which was delicious and good value. However, my partner ordered a cheese toasty which, although tasty, had unmelted cheese in the middle. The coffee wasn’t good. They use Caravan roasters, so they clearly care about coffee, but the way the coffee had been prepared left it bitter and killed any flavour in the beans. This place could be excellent with a little more attention to detail.
