Google
My favorite morning routine is going to Coffee Coffee. The staff is the absolute best, and I love the breakfast egg tacos. Highly recommend!

Riley G.

Google
I ordered the salted honey, vanilla latte, and the blueberry lemon danish. I spent the morning here to do some work. It was very quiet and peaceful before the morning rush started to come in. This is a lovely coffee shop with a lot of very yummy drinks and pastries. I will definitely be back to spend more quiet mornings at coffee coffee.

Google
Visiting at the Surf House hotel and came here three days in a row because it was excellent and it had great breakfast. Top five favorite cafés ever, the patio makes it special. It’s really that good!

Clayton B.

Google
This is by far my favorite coffee shop in Leucadia! Not only is the coffee amazing but the staff is always so kind and helpful and the vibe there is great. I love getting a coffee, sitting out on their patio and reading a book or catching up with a friend. This place is a must if you’re in the area!

Heidi H.

Google
Coffee Coffee is consistently next level. The coffee is excellent every single time, the breakfast sandwiches are my absolute favorite, and the rotating specialty lattes are always creative and genuinely delicious. When I want to treat myself, this is where I go. No misses. Ever.

Google
Excellent matcha and coffee and breakfast. Everything was delicious. They also have great merch I got a beautiful sweatshirt. The staff were so nice and went above and beyond to find the right size for me. I’ll def be back :)

Google
Super cute coffee shop right on the side of the road. Open concept , inviting . Lots of people outside and enjoying their Sunday morning. Wanted to try out a cuppa coffee here. We ordered a brown sugar latte. At first, we thought it didn’t taste like anything after drinking it a little more we decided that it was not that great. We went back to ask them if they could make us another drink. They made us a flat white - after taking a few sips - we realized it was just the espresso beans itself . Not much of a coffee taste at all just tastes milky. Unfortunately. Not worth the price - 7 dollars for a latte :/

Google
This place is awesome. Great part of a morning walk to beacons. The pastries that they bring in are delicious and the coffee is always good. Highly recommend

Yelp
This spot is a easy 100 to grab some caffeine. The spot has lots of room inside and out to hang out and work or visit with friends. They have a large menu with breakfast and pastries, even grab n go burritos, that accommodates all diets. I ordered the coconut cold brew which I fully enjoyed. The flavor was just right and the coffee was nice and bold. I highly suggest checking out this spot. Super friendly staff, great food and coffee and a good time!

Yelp
Service: Typical encinitas, always on point Location: An excellent place to work with lots of natural light inside and out. One of those rare cafes that hits the mark for the indoor and outdoor space! Beautiful design and great for enjoying the weather Drink: I really wanted to like my drinks more here! My friends and I have found our drinks a bit watered down tasting with flavors that are okay. We're both sweet drink and basic cappucino lovers and were never blown away :(

Alex M.

Yelp
Wonderful service! My short blonde haired barista made me one HELL of a drink. Even during the rush she and everyone else on the floor were locked in and seriously holding it down like champs!
google avatar

Matteo G.

Yelp
Favorite coffee shop in the area. Love the space both indoors and outdoors. Drinks are great, pastries are delicious and their breakfast burrito is well sized and to die for. Highly reccommend. Last note, their merch is also great, especially their crewneck sweatshirts

Yelp
I was introduced to Coffee Coffee through a community event that they happened to be one of the vendors. The matcha latte I had was so delicious I had to stop in and check out the shop in person. Cute little shop tucked in leucadia. Busy, great coffee and good atmosphere. Really glad I found this spot!

Yelp
This place was really great , from start to finish we felt very taken care of. Although expensive , we felt we got what we paid for. ($54 total) We ordered a bagel, and croissant, a breakfast sandwich, and quiche. We also got 2 lattes. The bagel was fresh and had a good amount of cream cheese. The croissant wasn't good tasted a day old. The breakfast sandwich with egg was so delicious. It has some spicy sauce on it and the bread was so soft and fresh. The quiche was good, a bit thick and needed more of an egg taste but still had good flavor nonetheless. The lattes were so delicious and made just as ordered. We sat outside and enjoyed our meal. The tables outside could use a bit of TLC, as some were wobbly. Will be back when in the area!

Yelp
My favorite coffee shop in north county SD - The coffee and matcha are top notch and the employees are always so kind. The outside seating is perfect for a sunny day!

Yelp
Love stopping by here for a quick coffee -- I usually just get a drip w/ almond milk so nothing too fancy, but they do the basics right! And the spot has a fabulous little courtyard to sit on and relax while you sip. Service was quick and accommodating (grabbed almond milk for me from behind the counter) -- top notch! The food looks pretty tasty too, will have to try next time!
google avatar

Noe S.

Yelp
Great coffee! Good place for solo work... lots of counter space and outlet access. Can get a little loud.
google avatar

Desiree J.

Yelp
Cute little coffee shop about a block from the beach. Lots of tables outside to hang and eat/drink or you can grab takeaway and walk 5 min for an awesome cliff side view. Parking on side streets or across the street by the train tracks. Suuuuper long wait on a Sunday. Good for them for being so busy! Kind staff though and not their fault, just insanely busy. Coffee was pretty good too! Didn't try and food but would definitely come back to. Outdoor patio had lots of pups ready to be pet

Yelp
Coffee Coffee, located in Encinitas on the N Coast Hwy 101! Authentic in its natural home syrups, grab n go's, & their own personalized merchandise! Enjoy a delicious coffee & breakfast/lunch at their built-in bar, surrounded by a beautiful design of simplistic decor. Coffee: 10/10 -I ordered a latte with their homemade Maple Syrup! It was nice and sweet within the flavor & paired nicely with oat milk! Next time, I'll try their Mocha or other house syrups! Service: 10/10 -The young lady who helped me out was very nice! She provided me with their specialties and gave me advice on what would be suitable for my taste! She recommend one of their house syrups (Maple) & it was definitely a great choice! Her service was excellent and fast! Props to her! Coffee Shop Vibes: 10/10 -I'm a sucker for a nice, simple & modern style to coffee shops! What I really loved about this place is that they had a really nice curved bar you could sit at! It was very cozy in here & I wouldn't mind studying in here. The outside is accompanied by a beautiful cherry blossom tree that really compliments the building outside! Very cute & cozy place! Try this coffee shop when you're in the area! Overall rating: 10/10

Yelp
Love this coffee shop with the best vibe...coffee, people and ambiance. Great place to meet a friend, work remotely and make new friends. Jordyn is amazing, she is so very sweet and has such a positive energy about her. She is also very knowledgeable about coffee and holds coffee workshops or classes too. Highly recommend!

Sadie T.

Yelp
What they do perfectly- Vibes. What sadly isn't a 10/10- the coffee or matcha. I've tried this place five times and sadly nothing really hits. Will keep going for ambience but just don't crave anything on the drinks menu :( pup cup is also like $1 ..for a tiny thing of whipped cream...
google avatar

Nicole O.

Yelp
Dog friendly with both indoor and outdoor seating. Great looking menu, but we went on new years day and the selection was very limited. The mini surfer burrito was good. We ordered hot cocoa for the kids - no whipped cream, no marshmallows and tasted like chocolate syrup - not great. My son had a couple sips and was done. My husband loved the coffee - espresso and cold brew. We also splurged for sweatshirt swag.
google avatar

Yelp
This is my favorite local spot and for good reason! Super chill vibe, friendly people, great drinks / food, and a killer co working environment! It gets busy in here (especially on the weekends) but the gang keeps things moving no problem. There are at least 10 coffee shops on the 101, Coffee Coffee keeps me coming back every day. Thanks for being the real deal gang!
google avatar

Mariel G.

Yelp
i loved the style of this place very airy and light. The lattes we great i recommend stopping in
google avatar

Jane C.

Yelp
The seating is plentiful and the area is a calming beach scene. The parking can be tough since it's street parking or you park along the rail road track. This place also has wifi so a great place to get work done and then afterwards get lunch at a nearby restaurant or buy one of their pastries. The almond milk latte is so good here, nutty and roasted and great if you're dairy sensitive

Yelp
This morning, I overheard the female owner being rude to a customer. The staff also aren't the friendliest. It's disappointing because this used to be our favorite spot for coffee and relaxing. People still seem to come here, though--I suppose it's because of the convenient location and trendy vibe.
google avatar

Idaliz J.

Yelp
Paid almost $8 for an iced matcha and when I got to the end of my drink found a bug in it! Gross!
google avatar

Christina X.

Yelp
Cute and nice cafe with nice indoor and outdoor area seating. I ordered the special mint vanilla latte and my husband ordered the ceremonial matcha. I think ceremonial matcha was a bit too diluted but the mint latte was pretty good. It has a lot outdoor seating and inside seating is cute as well. If I pass by I will stop in to grab another latte.
google avatar

Jessica H.

Yelp
Rude girls working the counter and making drinks. Gave me a cop of huge ice with approximately 1/2 cup of cold brew after I asked for light ice. It was filled to overfilled with the ice even after I asked for half n half also, with no room to add it. The coffee itself had terrible flavor also. Very very bitter. Not to mention, 3 drinks ended up being $23...

Mia H.

Yelp
Coffee Coffee serves the most consistently delicious latte I've had in Encinitas. I'm a huge fan--not just of the perfectly balanced espresso-to-sweetener ratio, but also the ice ratio, which I absolutely love. It's spot on every single time.

Yelp
I've never written a bad review on Yelp. I owned a coffee house for years and know what it's like to run this type of business. It's definitely not easy. That doesn't excuse the way my family and I were treated today by one of the staff members. My wife and I have a one and three year old, we know they don't always behave perfectly when we go out. We try to be mindful of that and today was no exception. Our kids were being a little loud so we decided to change our order from "for here" to "to go". When my wife communicated this to a young lady with long dark hair she scoffed at her. We took our kids to the car and I came back to get the food. Once the food was ready it came out for dine in. It was brought out by the same girl who gave my wife an attitude. I kindly said, "oh, I'm sorry we changed our order to go." She didn't say anything to me, rolled her eyes and walked away from me. Once she returned I attempted to communicate to her again and was ignored, yet again. Once she returned behind the counter she looked at me and said, "people need to get their shit together." This is not the way we wanted to get our Saturday morning started. We are bummed because we enjoyed the burrito we ate but the way we were disrespected and dismissed had us feeling like we never want to return to this establishment again.
google avatar

Jessica B.

Yelp
The best chai latte I've ever had. Their breakfast burrito with chipotle aioli is also really good! Been here a couple of times and the vibes are just always 10/10!
google avatar

Yelp
Coffee Coffee on the 101 is the perfect combination of a indoor / outdoor environment with a home vibe. The coffee is great and food yummy. If you meeting with a friend or need to get some work done, this is the place for you !
google avatar

Riley S.

Yelp
Went here the other day to try it out. My drink was so bad, ended up throwing away my 8$ drink. Sadly i was in a rush so i couldn't go back and get a refund. The place is super cute and the girl who took my order was nice, sad the drink wasn't good:(
google avatar

Mirna E.

Yelp
Yum! While staying at a local Airbnb we gave this little gem a shot. So glad we did. I enjoyed their lavender latte with oat milk and hubby enjoyed their mocha with it milk. Just wish they had vegan options for food! Otherwise, their coffee was good and worth trying.
google avatar

Yelp
Best coffee shop with food in Leucadia! All of their syrups are homemade and natural. What more could you ask for. Best to come during the week when it's less busy

Sarah H.

Yelp
The coffee was great. The food is fantastic and presented well. The staff is nice and always open to answering questions.
google avatar

Alexa S.

Yelp
We love this place. It's honestly very overpriced. My husband bought a breakfast sandwich the one time and it was 16 or $18 or something ridiculous for literally just egg and cheese on a bagel. However, their coffees and drinks are good again a bit pricey you kinda pay for the atmosphere of the place but everything is good and high-quality.
google avatar

Amelia W.

Yelp
I love their cappuccino and their iced teas. Really cute little place. Support local coffee businesses!
google avatar

Leonard O.

Yelp
Great coffee!! Open early, outdoor seating to enjoy your morning. Plenty of breakfast choices also.
google avatar

Christopher S.

Yelp
A good local place to chill. Parking can be a little bit of a pain being off PCH and all. Try not to hit a cyclist while driving around here, and you'll make it into the store just fine. Ordered a coconut cream cold brew and it was pretty good! Others in the party ordered the cinnamon honey iced latte which was also good. Have gotten other drink items on their menu and have enjoyed as well. I've never gotten food here. I hear it's good too. For some reason my friend didn't say anything until much later, but she had ordered a large and they gave her a small. Not sure why nothing was said but really shouldn't be on the customer to get the order right. The girls behind the counter were a little stand-offish feeling to me as well. Perhaps it's because we came near closing. Probably. Whoops! I still like going here nonetheless. Coffee Coffee!

Yelp
With all the hustle and bustle along the beach of Encinitas Coffee Coffee is tucked away on the corner of the 101. We were there to watch the School of Rock perform and stayed for most of the day. The location is great and I was surprised how spacious it was inside. Coffee Coffee is not just a rinky dink little coffee shop. They have a nice variety of beverages (very happy about their iced tea selection and loved the peach tea but my favorite was the coconut tea). Coffee and hot cocoa was pretty good as well. Early in the morning their was a great variety of pastries (sweets and savories). They also have a nice selection of items in their menu. I ordered a fruit bowl, it was loaded with sweet strawberries, bananas, and cantaloupe. My son got the lox and bagels and really enjoyed it. The acai bowls were nice and looked really good. My mom got an apricot danish which she thought was tasty as well We did run into an issue, our order was given to another table. It took a bit to remake our order but the staff was really nice and made sure we were taken care of. It was not necessary but they made it right. Great customer service. There is plenty of seating inside as well as a great outdoor area to sit and relax or people watch. Great venue to hang out and listen to live music as well. All in all a great place to spend our Sunday. For sure stop by if you are heading to Encinitas!

Kyle O.

Yelp
I asked for a drink to go in a smaller cup than what they make it in, yet every other coffee shop makes this same drink in a smaller cup (including every coffee shop in Europe). When my order came out it was an entirely different drink than what I ordered, I asked a barista with dark hair in her 30's if there was confusion and her response was immediately "it says right here you ordered this", and I replied with no I ordered something else and she just wanted to argue with me about the order. Eventually I turned around and walked away with the incorrect coffee. No chance I'll waste my time or money going here again, and wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Poor service, poor knowledge of coffee orders, poor attitude.
google avatar

Nick M.

Yelp
Waited some time to review the revamped Coffee Coffee to make sure my initial thoughts still held true and they certainly have. What the new owners have created is a neighborhood hub for solid coffee and delicious eats. It's place for work, a place for meetings and a place for people of the community to interact and enjoy the wonderful town of Leucadia. The grab and go burritos are a must, particularly if you're in a time crunch. Make sure to get the dipping sauces too! It's also great for family's and they welcome dogs too.
google avatar

Nancy E.

Yelp
coffee good!! staff was very friendly- cute little spot in SD- would love to come back to try more syrups!

Emily M.

Yelp
The inside of this place is gorgeous with a lot of outdoor seating making it very pup friendly. My issue was the lack of customer service and quality of food for their prices. I paid $7 for a chai latte that was more milk than chai. I paid $16 for the hash toast. And you can tell they were store bought/frozen hash browns with two eggs on top. I truly could've made that at home for a fraction of the price.

David P.

Yelp
The old coffee coffee was fantastic. Loved their burrito and their great lattes. The new one is a big step down. Tried it three times and won't go back again. The burrito is tiny and expensive and a nothing burger. The latte's have so much ice there is barely any latte. Don't bother as the new owner who owns the motel across the way is out to make a buck and does not appear to care about the patrons. Don't see any of the old regulars there any longer, with good reason. Far better coffee places in the area.

Lyd N.

Yelp
Don't even get me started about this place, it is PERFECT. i'm not one to leave a yelp review, but after the consistent amazing experiences i have had there, they deserve it at this point. everything is so fairly priced (under-priced if you ask me), the vibe is unbeatable, and the staff are so sweet and welcoming. i've met the owner jordyn a couple times now and she greets me by name, is super knowledgeable, and seriously turned this place around. i literally go here for everything. date? perfect. out with friends? perfect. study? perfect. couldn't recommend something more!

Linda C.

Yelp
Used to be a great local spot. Since becoming fancy the crowds are big, prices are high, wait is looong, the drinks are sub par oh and the size of their surf burritos are laughable albeit tasty and the green salsa is really good! We walk farther now for a down to earth and quiet spot, something rare these days sadly.

Martin C.

Yelp
Great coffee and vibe, but the WiFi has sucked the last few times I've been there which is frustrating. Staff are really friendly and it's a great location.
google avatar

Turin E.

Yelp
Love cc. Good food, great coffee, pleasant staff. Love to sit on the patio and work/chill. Parking and seating can be an issue but city of Enc has really opened up the area across the street which is nice and helps.

Susie T.

Yelp
This was a first time visit for us and the last time. I have never experienced such a rude barista ever before and believe me I have been to a lot of coffee shops. There is so much competition now for coffee shops, customers will not return to a place where someone is so rude and pulled a face. Disgraceful.
google avatar

Marie V.

Yelp
Great ambiance ! Love the location. Friendly staff. Perfect place to go and sit outside on a sunny day.

Sean C.

Yelp
Food was WAY too expensive. Probably not their fault but the food was cold even when warmed up. Drink was okay. Like a 3/5. I'd probably check out another place!
google avatar

Emily S.

Yelp
I got the iced flat white with almond milk. It was good flavored, best coffee I've had in town so far. Good vibes. Lots of young people out. Good crowd. Service was good. The employees were really nice and the drink came out quickly. 10/10 will return.

Kaitlyn C.

Yelp
INSANELY overpriced. Definitely not worth the price point, lots of more affordable options nearby
google avatar

Andrew M.

Yelp
Had a matcha green tea, it was great. I liked the out door space under the tree, there were plenty of tables and chairs to sit. The staff were kind and friendly. Overall a pleasant place. I'll have to come back and try some other beverages. :)
