Excellent! Lovely cafe with in and outdoor seating nestled in a medical complex. We were in a bit of a hurry but really wanted to stop in. They were bustling but our order came out quickly. Got a couple drinks and cheese danish (warmed!). Danish was soft and cheese was sweet. Got a zebra iced latte and it was wonderful. Will go back again.

If I could give more stars to rate the service I would. A big thank you to the barista that helped me pick out my drink and danish when I wsn't sure what to order. The Cafe was extremely busy with the morning rush, she made me feel like a priority. I described the coffee profile I prefer, and she made an excellent recommendation. She was an absolute delight to work with. She had suggested a hazelnut almond latte.. Amazing! 100% what I wanted but didn't know what to ask for. The staff even heated up the danish without me asking. Thank you again for such wonderful service. I will be back.

Coffee Cup Cafe in Clarke is a popular spot with locals. I had an egg and cheese everything bagel sandwich with an amazing cinnamon roll. The chai latte was really good, and I bought the adorable mug they served it in. Friendly counter staff and cooks in the kitchen.

This is hands down my favorite coffee shop in haywood county. There always very welcoming and also very good at having patients and kindness for my kids as well. The girl at the register with the black curly hair is alway super sweet and makes us feel very welcome. And the owner is very active in his buisness. Couldn't ask for a better experience everytime. Not to mention the food and drink are always on point. Best Chai in town for sure

Food was delicious! We didn’t get a picture of the daily special (tuna&onion melt) 🤤 I ordered the BLT everything bagel, the bagel was so soft..🫶 Our smoothies were delicious too! I got the sunrise smoothie. ☀️ We tried out the chicken salad too it was amazing! Thank you for such great food and fast service.

Quaint little breakfast spot! Don't expect frills, but expect SUPER budget friendly meals and incredible service. We ordered breakfast plates, cinnamon roll, and lattes. The food was good! Would love to not have single use plates and utensils. The cinnamon roll was delicious, and the lattes come in a lovely ceramic mug. The service was excellent and took less than 5 minutes to get our food. They even offered us complimentary water while we waited. We’ll definitely tell our friends and family to come here! When you do go, get a latte and a cinnamon roll, you won’t be disappointed. Outdoor seating has a beautiful view too!

We are on a road trip and this place came up on a search for nearby breakfast eateries. The lady that took our order was very helpful with menu questions and very polite. The food came out very quickly and everything was delicious. I ordered the veggie grits bowl with eggs. Yummy! And my husband's Americano with heavy cream was just as he likes it. I ordered an iced strawberry matcha. It was absolutely delicious, albeit a bit sweeter than I am used to. My kids aren't very picky, but they all really liked their food.

We were struggling to find a good spot for breakfast and coffee since everywhere else was packed, but then we came across Coffee Cup Cafe. It's some of the best coffee and breakfast food we've had in a long time! Even during a rush, the service was fantastic. The staff was attentive, friendly, and efficient, and the owner was right there helping the team and making sure everything ran smoothly. You can tell he really cares about the place and it shows. The cafe itself has a great vibe, with charming chalk art around the seating area that looks professionally done. We loved it so much we came back a second time during our trip (and might even stop again on our way out tomorrow!). Highly recommend the raspberry mocha -- it's amazing. If you're looking for a great breakfast and coffee without the long waits, Coffee Cup Cafe is absolutely worth it.

The team at Coffee Cup cafe is always helpful and always smiling. Buffalo wrap and grilled veggie wrap are our go to items.

What a fun coffee shop we stumbled upon! The staff were lovely and smiling at super early hours, service was quick, food was hot and fresh, and coffee was superb! Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating with incredible mountain views, local art/merch, and a detailed menu. Definitely recommend stopping in! I ordered the turkey Swiss bagel and maple pumpkin matcha latte (to die for!)

We hadn't eaten at Coffee Cup Café in quite a while. We went for lunch and it was packed. Still, the service was exceptionally friendly and fast. The restaurant was spotless, which is nice. We had the tomato soup, grilled cheese, turkey melt, and chicken sandwich. I also had potato salad. The food was fantastic! Coffee Cup Café is a true gem.

Coffee Cup Cafe is the best place to go. We were up here for our yearly fall trip to the mountains and were struggling to find a spot for breakfast and coffee that was not absolutely packed. I wish I had found this place sooner! After our first time here we decided to come here for breakfast every day they were open. The staff is super nice and friendly. Great people, amazing coffee and food, and the cutest chalk art on the walls here. The first day we got the breakfast plates and let me tell you it is the best breakfast I have ever had. A side note that they stop serving grits after 11. We were lucky enough to get them before 11. The first day there was only one woman working the food but she was absolutely KILLING IT! And the wait was still not that long, maybe 10 mins, and the food was so good. I got the caramel mocha supreme and they let me get it iced. WOW!! My friend got the raspberry mocha, HOLY COW so good. We came back another day and came after 11 so we decided to try the breakfast wraps. The tortillas were nice and crispy, bacon was sweet and savory, eggs cooked to perfection. I got the raspberry mocha iced this time and it is so good. The jam is a perfect addition to the mocha. They also offer soup and sandwiches for lunch that sound very good. If you're looking for a place to eat with good coffee, good food, and amazing staff, this is the place to go. The owner mentioned there can be a big lunch rush around noon, so keep that in mind. The second time we came around lunch rush and had absolutely no issues. 10000/10 love this place. I just wish they were open every day! But having a nice weekend break is very reasonable and I'm glad the staff can enjoy the weekends. Love this place, they absolutely knocked it out of the park on everything. We will be back!

Stopped in for a quick breakfast. This place is conveniently located near the Clyde Medical community, just past the Haywood Regional Medical Center. Yes, you'll see a lot of medical types eating in here. Three kinds of bagels, I got the everything. Blueberry and plain sounded boring. Fresh and lightly toasted, it hit the spot. Medium and dark roast coffee are on the menu, too. Medium was just right. Their menu shows an extensive list of sandwiches, cookies and pastries. Did I say pastries?? Omg, they look great. Been a while since I had been here even though I am local. Had a lovely lunch sandwich and all of the food I had and the service was amazing. Dessert was really good and I will come back more often!

Can't say enough good about the place. I was a Red Cross worker who worked the night shift. We looked forward to breakfast every morning. The food was cooked perfectly and all the employees and the owner were some of the best I have ever seen. I wished they were near me but I will never forget their welcoming smiles every morning. DON'T READ ANY REVIEWS ABOUT THIS RESTAURANT THAT ARE OVER 2 YEARS OLD!!!! New owners took over two years ago and this place is AMAZING!!! At lunch time, it is very busy. Everyone in town enjoys this restaurant. They have the best food and drinks. The prices are reasonable. It's convenient to the local hospital and the medical offices nearby. The patio seating area is really nice as is the indoor seating area. It's a great place for groups. I'm sure you will enjoy this restaurant! They are open Monday-Friday from 7:00 AM until 3:00 PM.

The spinach and mushroom omelette was excellent. Staff were attentive and helpful. Wide variety of drink choices along with a solid breakfast and lunch menu.

I have been here. And they have grits bowls that are out of this world. Bacon . Cheese. Do I need to say anything more. That's good. But they also have a wonderful tuna salad sandwich. They also know how to make a wonderful glass of sweet tea.

Some of the finest sandwiches I have ever eaten. Staff members are as pleasant and helpful as can be. Wide variety of coffees, too. Desserts are NICE!!

We were visiting the area and needed coffee and breakfast. We had the best experience, coffee and food! The staff is super friendly and even asked if they could bring a doggy charcuterie plate for our dog!

Stopped in on the way home after making a quick decision to come here. Was originally going to a different place that was temporarily closed, and I didn't know it until we got there. Had the Rachel sandwich, and it was one of the best sandwiches I've had in a very long time. So glad we stopped!! When I'm in town, I will definitely go back there.

Hungry? You may need to order something more than a BLT. I wanted so much for this to be a good experience. But, this sandwich did not satisfy. The bacon was super thin. So was the tomato, really thin. And there was one leaf of iceberg. The cafe is clean, spacious, a nice place to sit a bit and enjoy a cup of Joe. They serve Dynamite Roasters' coffee - a roaster that began in Black Mountain NC. I got a 12 oz cup of dark roast. They will provide you with a splash of milk if you ask. Otherwise they have coffee mate shots on the coffee bar.

I stopped in here one afternoon while heading from Asheville to Maggie Valley. It was storming and I ran inside in the rain, got dried off, and ordered an iced latte. I sat with my computer and did some work. It was rather quiet, and the latte was very good. Definitely recommend if you were in the area or passing through one way or the other.

Looking for a coffee place when driving West of Asheville? There aint much in Clyde but at exit 105 you can get off the highway and get great coffee here. You will see it from the highway. They have english muffins in the morning and a selection of great sandwhiches and baked goods. An nice patio with mountain (and highway ha!) views. I pick up sandwhiches between Cullowhee and Asheville when I am driving between Western Carolina University and our Graduate campus at UNC Asheville.

I have had lunch here everyday during my business trip. Everything has been delicious! My favorite is the veggie wrap. A perfect combination of veggies grilled to perfection and without a lot of grease. Each day has been a different soup with the potato/carrot being my favorite. And the pies! The coconut and key lime are elegant without being too sweet. The only thing I haven't tried is the coffee!

I always forget about this place but it never disappoints! I had the turkey and spinach wrap and it was great! It's become the place my old college roommate and I meet up at to catch up when I'm passing through! I also had an iced chia tea while I was there and then a hot caramel mocha supreme latte to go which tasted amazing!

I love this place. Their desserts are always delicious. I love several of their sandwiches and their specialty drinks. I go here at least every other week.

Serving Panacea Coffee, I enjoy coming to the coffee cup. They serve great wraps and fresh bagels. Today I tryed their Chi Tea Latte and plain buttered bagel with strawberry jam. My brother had the breakfast wrap, a nice egg, bacon and cheese wrap. The prices are comparable to most coffee shops and the staff is very attentive and efficient.

Epic maple spice latte!! So darn good. Stopped in with my stepmother while visiting from Arizona and was super impressed with the nice people working there. In addition, the coffee I ordered was "epic" as stated earlier. Loved the decor of the chalk signs highlighting the coffee choices. They also served food that looked great! However, we had already eaten so didn't get a chance to take a bite of any of the yummy dishes I saw coming out of the kitchen. I bet it's good. They also have a variety of sweet treats in the display case at the front. This looks like a local hangout and it's a good one at that. Would definitely recommend people to come here if they are from out of town or if they live in the area. They have the cutest mugs as well, found out those are Mara mugs and already ordered a few online. They are located in a medical plaza it seems so make sure you keep going till you find it :)

If you're visiting from out of town you have to go here!! I recommend the Buffalo Chicken Wrap and the pasta salad side is a must! I get it every single time with a strawberry delight smoothie. This place is definitely a favorite in Haywood County!!

Interesting place... Misleading name... "Coffee Cup Cafe". Guess coffee is just a word thrown around these days. They have a single shot espresso machine here. Not sure how you can make multiple espresso drinks at volume with that tiny, old, dirty machine. And not sure how much they care for coffee considering 1. the size/condition of the machine and 2. the little amount of coffee they actually serve. Was there for about 15 mins and just saw them sending out mass amounts of food to customers, mostly to-go orders. Just a very interesting name for the business considering they're more of a quick service restaurant than a coffee "cafe". They serve a lot of milkshakes too which is fitting for a cafe. Yes it's called a cafe I get that, but the word coffee is literally in the name. I ordered a milkshake since I didn't feel like their coffee would be great, but I wanted to still get SOMETHING since I took time to visit this place specifically. This milkshake, my god. Loads of ice cream mixed with half and half and peanut butter. The first 3 sips were fantastic. After that I thought I was going to throw up. It's wayyyy too rich and the half&half puts you over the top. Feels like this is a pretty local-run place, lots of older people grabbing food to-go. It is in a beautiful location though with a nice outside area and mountain views. With that being said, It's also in a medical complex filled with multiple plastic surgery offices. It actually shares the same building as a plastic surgery place. So if you want a BLT with a peanut butter milkshake right after you get a face-lift, this place is perfect for you. Not going to totally rip the place since i'm sure they have good quick service food and stuff of that nature. I'm not expecting crazy good anything from a cafe. I'll give a fair rating, but with that name, I just can't roll with that.

I thought that this place was pretentious, which is pretentious of me. My husband has dabbled in this place for years now. I just discovered it yesterday. It was like finding treasure. The people, the food, the feeling of it- it is all perfect. Everyone is friendly, the bathrooms are clean, cabinesque decor is not over the top. It has a sunny feel. The coffee is from Panacea, which is a smart business move for this place. All ingested items were spot-on: the lemon bar, chocolate chip cookie, coffee, and blueberry muffin. It is like it is straight from a no-nonsense, experienced person's kitchen. No frills, and I love the fact that the muffin did not have its own muffin top to give you a muffin top*. The water is fresh and from Haywood County. You get it from a dispenser. There are two coffee islands that are not overwhelming. The place is clean and tables are placed the right distance from one another. They list all kinds of beverages on a chalkboard to the side, which makes investigation easier. Prices are fantastic. There is an outside patio. This place ie easy to find, too. Right off of 40 in a tiny plaza with medical specialists. Haywood Regional Medical Center is very nearby, too, if you need a landmark. This place will make you feel warm inside when it's cold outside. *I now believe that muffin tops are a body type, and not a result that anyone who overeats can acquire. My use of "muffin top" is for entertainment purposes only.

Nice people and reasonable sandwiches. It is a good place to stop if you need a quick sandwich or a cup of coffee. It's not as good as a place to stop and stay a while. There is no wireless and it's really not a coffee shop--much more of a cafe (which make sense if you focus on the "cafe" part of the name--less so if you focus on the "coffee" part as I did. No reason not to stop, just know what it is (and is not).

This is one of the easiest reviews I've ever written! Without a doubt one of my top five! Sandwiches and salad were a nice surprise! And way over the top on desert (Blueberry cheesecake)! You have to brave their menu, because its gonna be a tough decision, period..

You may think i'm exaggerating when I say this but I'm not. I have gotten to go from this restaurant about 6 times. And the 5/6 times I have, my food has been completely wrong. I tell them every time what I want and every time the food is wrong. You would think they would at least get it right a couple of times. Let's leave the getting stuff wrong to McDonalds. Wouldn't recommend.

This cute little cafe is in a great location right off the road. I always stop here in the mornings if I'm on my way to Asheville. The coffee is generally good, a few times my latte has been way too sweet to drink, but it's usually fine. They have a nice selection of baked goods and their menu includes tasty sandwiches for breakfast and lunch. The staff are always really friendly. The only downside is that they aren't open on weekends.

My favorite restaurant in the Waynesville/Lake Junaluska area. DELICIOUS! Fantastic coffee also. Although, the big drawback is that they are closed at night and on the weekends. However, I applaud the owners wanting a good work/life balance.

This restaurant was a suggestion made for us by our Google Maps GPS. We never would have found it without the assistance of Siri. It was worth the effort! We were there for breakfast on a Monday morning. The atmosphere was fresh and friendly. The coffee was really, really good (this is very important as I am a "coffee snob"). The food was outstanding. I ordered a spinach and mushroom omelet and my husband had a breakfast wrap. YUM!! We ate on the porch as we had our dog with us and the Cafe even had bowls of water out for thirsty pooches. It was a really good experience and we are already planning to eat there in September on our way to Cataloochee.

I just made 2 trips here, my first and last! Mediocre breakfast wrap for $6 and a charge for coffee refill? No one has asked if i need anything else or cleaned up toast scraps someone dropped. Can see why they add tip to bill before my food comes.

On our way home from Townsend TN it was past lunchtime. I went on yelp to find a place that had sanwiches and must needed coffee. Well this place was the first to come up and all the reviews were great. Well they were right. My latte was great and husband really liked the espresso shot. He ordered the reuben and I ordered the smothered ham and cheese which has a rst red pepper mayo(YUMMMM). It was all delish. You mist stop by when you can

Love this place! I could eat there everyday and find more than enough variety. The food is always served fresh and most of the menu items are healthy, with ingredients from local farms. Every single thing I have ordered was delicious, lovingly prepared, and served at my table within ten minutes. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxing and the cafe is always clean and neat, with a good mountain view off the patio. It is my favorite restaurant to which I take all of my out of town friends and they have all been as pleased and impressed as I. I especially love the Spinach and Mushroom Omelet with a side of Wheatberry toast for breakfast. For lunch, my favorites are the Veggie Wrap, heated; the Three Salad Plate, the Apple Walnut Salad and the Ceasar Salad, with chicken. The coffee is good, too The prices are very reasonable and the serving sizes are just right. I look forward to eating there and highly recommend you try it!

Breakfast sandwich with chedder mushrooms and spinach is one of the best breakfasts I've ever had! The coffee is incredible.

My wife and I stopped in for the first time today. Middle of afternoon and business was light. Dinning area was clean as well as the restrooms. Ordered the "Rachel" and cup of veg. soup. The sandwich was to die for. Beef was very tender and everything went well together. My new favorite. Soup was also very tasty. My wife ordered the kicked- up chicken sandwich and asked if it could be on a wrap. No problem. Server taking our order was very pleasant. She enjoyed it very much but mentioned she couldn't taste the walnuts but it didn't matter.

I am so glad I have found the Coffee Cup Cafe. I am addicted to the chicken Caesar wrap, and their desserts are great as well. The staff is super friendly. It's always packed around lunchtime, but worth it.

One of my favorite places to eat. The food and desserts are some of the best around. I took one star away due to the cafe having an open kitchen. It's worth the sacrifice but you will leave smelling like food.

Great house blend coffee locally roasted at Panacea. I like a light breakfast sandwich and they will make it any way I ask. The tuna stuffed tomato is served on a bed of lettuce and makes a great lunch.

Great customer service, everyone is very friendly and I haven't had a single bad meal. The prices are very affordable. And you get your meal in a very timely manner. I would highly recommend coming here for a delicious meal that's affordable. It's close to campus (HCC) and is a quick and simple bite to eat between classes.
