"First opened in 1952, Coffee Cup has held down the corner of Randolph Avenue for 71 years with with steak and eggs, biscuits and gravy, and, of course, hot coffee. It serves all the diner breakfast classics, but the real gems are found in the specialty section of the menu: delicate Belgian waffles topped with berries and cream, and breakfast burritos stuffed with sausage and smothered in a rich hollandaise." - Justine Jones, Eater Staff

I haven't been here in a while and have been aiming to go, but every time I think about it it is already 1:30 or 2 pm and they close at 3 everyday. So I decided to make it my mission to go here for Mother's Day. We still got here after 1, but there were plenty of seats available. Amongst 3 of us, we got a salad, an omelet, a burger and sodas for $57. The food was good and plenty; maybe not as much as they used to serve though. And the prices are higher than before, but that's to be expected; they are at a comparable rate. They serve breakfast and lunch and they have some specialty dishes. They also sell cake, pie, cookies, and fruit. So for your next outing, I'd suggest you try this place, if you haven't already.

Ordered for takeout burritos and hash browns for me and my family portion size they are not shy taste good seriously filling about 25 $30 a person including tax That's for one drink and the meal sad part is if you like mushrooms they use mushrooms out of a can I was really disappointed in that ordered mushrooms on my hash browns with cheese and onions and peppers and everything was good but those mushrooms ruined it for me unfortunately 😞 if they switch over to fresh mushrooms I would give it 10 out of 10 but because of mushrooms are canned so it gives your food a weird filmy texture in your mouth 6/10

What a lovely place to grab a late breakfast. We had been here numerous times when it was previously the Copperdome. The update to the room, opening it up, and the lightening up is an improvement. I'm glad they appear to have kept a lot of the old decor, too. The food was fantastic and the service was so kind and friendly. They appear to be doing a brisk takeout business also. Their portion sizes are huge, and we had enough leftover for dinner as well. They also have some spectacular garlic chive cheese curds, and being from Wisconsin, I'm definitely a connoisseur. We got the giant cinnamon roll, and it was as big as my head. The frosting is heavy on the cream cheese, so if you have a sweet tooth, just be ready for that. We got the chocolate chip three stack pancakes with whipped cream, sides of bacon, and sausage patties. The patties are huge, almost like a half pound burger, and taste delicious. An everything omelet and the ranchers breakfast consisting of two eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, and an English muffin rounded out our meal. Coffee was refilled promptly, and everything was delivered hot and quickly. Strong recommendation on a visit. Sorry I didn't get a picture of the giant cinnamon roll!

If a dive bar served breakfast. What a great little breakfast location. The portions are large. The food is good. The service is fast. The people are friendly. The only cautionary tale is that the name sake is Coffee Cup, not Cup of Coffee. Don't expect anything more than Folgers' level of coffee, but don't let that deter you. The rest of the experience was top notch.

Nice quite restaurant. Perfect for your early morning breakfast. Portions of food were coming in giantic plates.

Great little diner to get some delicious home cooking. We came for breakfast and the portions were generous and very tasty. The server we had was very attentive but not too overbearing.

They were busy so 25 min to get my breakfast sandwich which was good and made with two eggs. Nothing spectacular, but I didn’t order anything that special. Had a baked goods counter and everything seemed to be made from scratch. I’ll call me back for lunch next time.

My friend ordered scrambled eggs and requested to have them redone as they were a bit runny. Instead of bringing her new eggs, they put her eggs that she already touched back on the grill. The reason why we knew they were the same eggs was because she had already added black pepper the first time they brought them out. Very unsanitary.
