The 23 Best London Coffee Shops With Wifi For Getting Work Done - London - The Infatuation

"The area around the Old Street roundabout is rammed with coffee shops. But walk a few minutes up City Road to Coffee Junction, and you’ll find a quiet and spacious option. The mugs of coffee are big—a nice perk on a freelancer budget—and there’s a pleasant outdoor area too. Best for: Zoom calls, solo work, group work" - jake missing, rianne shlebak, daisy meager, sinead cranna

You honestly amaze me so much! 💕 I usually get treated differently when I’m out wearing my hijab 🧕, but here I felt so welcomed. The staff were super kind and respectful — it really meant a lot. And the food… wow! The salad bowl was not only filling but also super delicious. 🥗✨ I’ll definitely be coming back regularly. Thank you for making me feel so comfortable and valued!

This place is huge, food at reasonable price and run by the nicest people. (the video is only a 1/3 of the place) Came here for breakfast on Sunday. Food and place have Eastern European holiday vibes🤩 such a happy place. Go here with people you love.

Lovely cafe with kind and helpful staff, there are usually lots of seats available in the large and bright indoor space, plus some outside. They have a great buffet lunch selection, as well as sandwiches, coffees and smoothies. They also do 10% discount for NHS staff

Great food, affordable pricing, and very friendly staff! We got the 4-item breakfast plate and it was delicious.

A very cosy and pleasant cafe with a nice location on a quiet street. Both the indoor and outdoor seatings are perfect. The service is very good and lots of breakfast options with average prices and good quality. The coffee though wasn’t very strong. I found the Cortado needed a stronger taste and much less milk. Anyway happy to try it again.

Google
A lovely cafe. Popped in before work by chance and found a gem. Good coffee - quite big too👍 The pastry (pain au raisin) was very nice but more than the taste I loved the fact they warmed it up and sliced in half for me. What a nice touch. Pop in for nice coffee and food and wonderful service

Google
Great cafe if you are in the area of Old Street. Cosy, spacious and have very very fresh produce that you can indulge yourself in.

Yelp
Okay, maybe not your typical five star coffee joint but this was amazing if you love hole in the wall, local spots. Coffee was great, the food was your typical breakfast stuff. Nothing special but perfectly done. Felt like you were eating at home on a nice morning. The servers were kind and accommodating, and it was a quiet place to start our morning. If you're in the area and need something quick, yummy, and homey- this is the place for you.

Yelp
Great dynamic space with eats spread about and interesting seating options to get cozy over a worktop or with a friend. Easy to drop in or stay for awhile. Staff are friendly and feels like a true local joint without trying that hard.

Yelp
This was my go-to and part time office while i was staying in the area on business. The salads are amazing - very fresh, nicely portioned, and tasty. Also thoroughly enjoyed to eggplant melanzane. Large variety of delicious drinks - from healthy fresh juices to warm, cozy teas and coffees Atmosphere is super comfortable - spacious yet cozy, lots of light, comfortable decor and situated on a busy but not too busy street corner great for people watching. Also thought the staff were friendly yet unobtrusive.

Yelp
What I like about this place are the windows. You can sit inside (or outside if the weather is nice) in one of the comfortable sofa seats or the stools perched along the facade to enjoy your coffee/lunch and see the world go by. I have been there for late breakfast/brunch and ordered coffee and pastries, as I am more on the sweet side that my friend. She ordered a chicken sandwich that looked and tasted good. Coffee is average, so is food. But for the price, I have to say that is quite decent. Drinks are under £2.50 and food is under £4. Apparently salads are only £3 and massive, but I still have to try them. I also appreciate their policy of bringing you your order to your seat and not collecting the money right away. Free WiFi and newspapers and magazines available to make your break more enjoyable.

Yelp
I absolutely love this place and would definitely recommend it to anyone who works in the area or fancies a good value-for-money breakfast or lunch. As a vegetarian, I think this place is great for both meat eaters and non-meat eaters. The Italian parmigiana is delicious and so is the pasta salad. They offer fresh juices and fresh mint tea as well, which are great. There is an outside area which is nice in the summer if you want to sit in the sun. HOWEVER... I must mention that the man who works there (who I believe is the owner) is rude to me every time I go there and I hope he changes his attitude towards customers. I will probably take a break from Coffee Junction because of my bad experience with him.

Yelp
I like coffee junction a lot. It's a great place to sit and work remotely, although if you have to take calls, it can get loud (especially at lunchtime when it is absolutely packed). The coffee is delicious - and their mochas are so nice and chocolatey. Their food is also great - got a Brie, bacon, jam panini for brunch one day. Their salads and eggs and juices are also great. Only thing is that they get a little disorganized at lunchtime and you feel pretty rushed when ordering.

Yelp
I was really curious about this place before. I pass by every day when I go to work and today I finally went for breakfast. It was really nice. And so cheap! I had an amazing cappuccino with a delicious chicken and bacon sandwich. Yummy! Just for £5. The staff was really attentive and caring. Can't wait to go for lunch! :)

Yelp
I've had some fantastic salads here. They let you choose a bunch of salads to mix up and then drizzle with balsamic vinegar. I got a chicken skewer the other day and brought the box back to my office and was all excited to eat the huge chunks of chicken. I bit into one of them and turns out it was still partially raw. It was absolutely disgusting. I'm going to get more salads but beware of the chicken.

Yelp
Great place to have salads, quiches, tasty and original toasted sandwiches and coffee. I like going there with friends and I always pick the big salad that is huge and only costs 5 pounds. You can also go there on your own and work in the afternoon or in the morning - they do porridge with banana and cinammon. There are huge windows and lots of light!

Yelp
What an amazing venue with its huge windows inundated by natural light and providing a unique scenario for my remote working days. There are lots of seating places, both along the windows, around tables of various sizes, from 2 to nearly 20 seats and on some comfortable sofas. Furniture is the typical "East-London" one with old wooden pieces of various styles combined together in a pleasant mesh. Coffee Junction serves some delicious pastry, good coffees and provides a variety of sandwiches and salads for lunch. The staff is friendly, polite and pleasantly keen to let you feel at home when you are a regular. This is definitely one of my favourite places!

Yelp
Not a bad lunch. Odd ordering system that confuses everybody. Staff can't really speak English so no point asking queries.

Yelp
I was at Moorfields Hospital which is a short walk from here. I was craving a coffee as I had to get up ridiculously early to come here and there was a lot of waiting around. I managed to leave my gran for a bit and get a coffee. I wanted a independent coffee shop so went on yelp and found this place. Its a shame I was in a rush otherwise I could have easily spent some time here as its so comfortable as well as spacious. The staff are so lovely, courteous and polite. I got a coffee to go and the coffee was really bitter, just how I needed it for the caffeine fix. When I am next here, I will definitely pop in and hopefully stay longe.

Yelp
This is a lovely place to while away a lunchtime! It has a great selection of food all freshly prepared. The interior is quite hipster with cute little touches everywhere, little sayings and novelty crockery! While it is a little expensive its totally worth it, the food and atmosphere are great! The salads are amazing!

Yelp
This place could be an excellent place. Unfortunately, the staff let it down, unfriendly, unprofessional and almost unpleasant. A lot of dirty tables left so will not be going back. But here's my two penneth worth anyway: I've walked past many times, but today, I finally tried it. I simply had a Latte, which itself was actually nice. The menu looks great and prices are reasonable. The décor is great with the majority being wooden so looks rustic. Plenty of seating inside and out, but it's away from the main road so a bit hidden and always looks quiet/empty (probably due to the staff). There are so many better friendly places to visit, I would always pay more for a better atmosphere and friendly service, some places really need to grasp the idea that 'customer' (i.e. bill/wage payer) service comes first, which unfortunately seems severely lacking these days.

Yelp
My work team is addicted to this place. We have lunch there almost every day. Fantastic atmosphere, friendly service, homu feel, fresh food.

Yelp
I love this place. Has a great feel to it, staff are all really nice, and the food for breakfast and lunch is good and pretty inexpensive. Good for an informal meeting.
