Classic Rock Coffee opens in September in Silverado Ranch - Eater Vegas

"Classic Rock Coffee counts down the days to a late-September debut in the southeast more than three years after the rock n’ roll-themed coffee shop first revealed plans to open in Las Vegas. Taking over 1,713 square feet at the Sprouts-anchored Silverado Square retail center, the future home of premium coffees, teas, smoothies, protein shakes, and casual-dining options faces Veggy Street and Maui Tacos at the intersection of Silverado Ranch Boulevard and Maryland Parkway. Decorated with guitars and vinyl record sleeves, and playing tracks to match the interior theme and caffeinated atmosphere, customers can look forward to drinking the “Breakfast in America” blend, or Guatemala sourced “Barracuda Bite,” plus flavored beverages dubbed the “Raspberry Beret” and “Cinnamon Girl.” A collection of anytime breakfast items highlighted by Belgian waffles and avocado toast, is joined by toasted sandwiches, soups, salads, and shareable dishes, including a spinach artichoke dip. In the retail section, customers can take home Brazilian, Ethiopian, and Sumatran roasts prepared in “Atomic Punk,” “Living After Midnight,” and “Black in Black” flavors. Still promising to be the first of several Las Vegas expansions, the original site at the under construction Durango Post Pavilion retail hub in Spring Valley has yet to update its own opening timetable." - Bradley Martin

I had a fantastic experience at this coffee shop with a rock n roll theme. The interior is adorned with captivating memorabilia, creating a delightful atmosphere. The staff members were extremely friendly, contributing to a relaxed ambiance. The mocha we ordered was simply outstanding. In contrast to some other establishments that tend to overcook their coffee, the brew here was truly delicious.

Google
Very cool place. Service was great and employees are super nice and efficient. Coffee drink was made perfectly, quickly and reasonably priced. Bonus you can get pumpkin spice here all year. Best kept secret, this place should be just as popular as dutch bros.

Google
I have a mission to visit every local coffee shop in Vegas since I’m a new resident and remote worker! This is my first shop and it did NOT disappoint. I can’t believe I forgot to take pics of inside, but there are a ton on here already. Great spot to peruse the “rock decor” and even grab a cool tie-dye tank top. It’s quiet with a taste of rock overhead, and the selections are delightful. Service was amazing and friendly! My Wildberry Smoothie was superb - highly recommended and cool to boot!

Google
I found this place after a long night of fighting an airline and ultimately getting stranded for 2 extra days and let me tell you how this was the exact vibe i needed this morning. The second i walked in, I knew my experience was about to rock judging by the decor and the music, and the immediate welcome from the staff and the selections available on the menu. I got the “sweet emotion” and the avocado toast and i wad taken on a magical mystery tour of flavours. The hometown rock and roll atmosphere really drives this experience home with a cute little personalised message on your coffee sleeve….as mine said, “thank you for bean a friend” Coffee N Rock is a go to spot if youre in the Silverado Ranch area, or any area of Vegas for that matter, DEFINITELY make the trip across town and check out Coffee N Rock!

Google
I love the theme of this place and the employees are really nice. Their vold brew is STRONG and I love it. They use Mothership coffee beans but their brew is much stronger. The flatbread was okay, but not something I would really order again. I will come back for more coffee tho!

Google
What makes a great coffee shop besides their coffee and food? Their aesthetic, atmosphere and feel of their shop. Because you can see everywhere there was love put into it. I mean look at the details, the coffee cup was well designed. I was drinking a Dirty Whiteboy coffee its a white chocolate and cocoa its creamy, frothy and the flavor was subtle not overwhelming just the way i liked it. The place was nostalgic even the music playing in the background transports you back in time when people just hangout and talk about music the whole day.

Google
It's like a diamond in the rough. No it's not a rough neighborhood it's just out of all the coffee shops in Vegas/Henderson this nails it. The murals and pictures on the wall just made me feel like I was backstage about to hear a great band and in the VIP Section getting some Top Imported Coffee and Exquisite Teas. I am a tea person myself and I Love a good Chai. Well here I tried my Chai Sweet Emotion Style and I don't think I want it any other way. This in my new favorite place. Good service with a good Vibe. It made the Rock Star in me Very Happy.

Google
Coffee Rock is one of my favorite GO TO coffee shops here in Las Vegas. I work at the Sprouts near this location and I go there pretty much every week to indulge in their yummy coffee and bagels. I love their coffee, the service, and the vibe. They play amazing music, they hold pet adoption events on certain weekends, the list goes on.This place is just awesome and if you want some good coffee and good music&food, then I recommend coming early because they do close at 4pm. ;)

Yelp
Came here before work for a quick bite and avocado toast. The drinks came out quick, but the avocado toast made me late for work. I think total time from order to walking out was almost 25 minutes. To be fair, there was only one guy working there and we came before a couple of other parties, but I wasn't expecting to be there that long. The avocado toast was good, but not worth the wait. I'd go again if I didn't have work or went a bit earlier. 3.5/5 - I'll try this place again when I have more time.

Yelp
Being a metalhead and coffee fan, I've had Coffee N Rock saved on my Yelp! for awhile now, but never find myself in the area. That all changed last weekend when I had yoga nearby, so I jumped at the chance to finally try them! They are located in the parking lot with Sprouts, which is a perfect opportunity to knock out shopping and coffee- win, win! Upon entering you are greeted with rock music and a plethora of rock memorabilia adorning the walls. I was promptly greeted by a barista and spent a few minutes studying the menu. I opted for a tried and true favorite, iced vanilla latte with almond milk. It was on the expensive side (over $9 with tip), but I've come to expect that in Vegas, unfortunately. After a couple minutes my drink was ready and was served up by another friendly barista. While I was waiting I noticed a list of their speciality/seasonal drinks on the wall to the left of the counter, so I was bummed to have missed that. Perhaps they can either put it in a more visible spot or have the baristas point it out. I had just finished my grocery shopping, so while I would have loved to stay a bit and enjoy the rock music and rock n' roll vibe, I had to grab and go. Next time I'll definitely plan to do my grocery shopping after so I can hang around for a bit. Back to the drink- the vanilla latte was a good balance of espresso, vanilla and sweetness, with the creaminess of the almond milk rounding it out. It's definitely one of the better tasting lattes that I've had in Vegas. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm on that side of town- rock on!!!

Yelp
This coffee cafe has such a cool and relaxing laid back vibe. Loved the Rock N Roll memorabilia! I've previously been here more than a few times, but always hit up the drive thru to grab a Caramel latte, a dirty white boy, or a Matcha latte when I'm on the run. A friend recommended we meet up here this week. So glad we did. We cozied up in these comfortable chairs and chatted away while we enjoyed our iced Sweet Emotions! They were delicious! As you can see I got teased for ordering a decaf this time lol My cup said "death before Decaf". How dare I....lol Loved the hand written Lyrics on the coffee cups :) Great customer service each time I've come! Can't wait to come back and stay a while :)

Yelp
It's always a pleasure coming here. Something about today's coffee hits perfectly and I feel like I know it's going to be a great day!!! And thanks to the lovely lady who wrote a message on our cups.

Yelp
My husband and I love stopping here before we go out to do weekend grocery run. It's conveniently located by Sprouts. We love the vibe and the way it's decorated. Great service and the music is always awesome. The cinnamon rose is good and goes great with their house coffee. I even bought one of their shirts.

Yelp
This has now become a weekly visit for me since I am in the area quite often. I love the vibe in here; super chill with awesome rock music. None of that garbage that is on the radio now. The employees are friendly and service is quick. They also have a drive-thru, but my kids love going inside to look at the awesome art they have on the walls. Plus it smells good in there :) I love me a good deal. And they have an awesome breakfast deal that comes with a breakfast item (War Pig sandwich, burrito or the egg flatbread), a hasbrown and a latte or cold brew. All of this for only $10. You can't beat that!!!! I always just opt for the War Pig sandwich. It's huge and filling. The aioli they use is a bit spicy, so I always opt for it on the side. The hash brown is a hash brown. No complaints there. And I really like their coffee because it isn't bitter that you have to cover it up with a bunch of flavored syrup. Their cold brew is delicious on its own with just one packet of Stevia. Definitely check this place out!!

Yelp
We enjoy trying new coffee places when we go out of town and we happen to run into this place. The staff was knowledgeable about the drinks, had some recommendations on drinks when I was indecisive. We ordered a grilled cheese and it was delicious. The drinks were good and the ambiance was great! I loved the theme and vibes this place had.

Yelp
Coffee N Rock was a win all around with tasty food, good coffee, a convenient drive thru, and an awesome breakfast deal. The employee who helped me was friendly too! They have a breakfast deal that is one of the best kept secrets in town. It was $10 for a breakfast food (burrito, sandwich, or flatbread), hash brown, and a medium latte or cold brew. You can upgrade to a large latte for a little extra. The Raspberry Beret Latte was exactly how I like my lattes, a good coffee flavor still came through and it was not too sweet. The Breakfast Burrito was fresh and tasty. It even had some veggies inside. It was real food, not mystery product you'd get at a fast food spot. The hash brown was delicious too. I only waited a few minutes for my order. It was the perfect amount of time to know I was getting freshly prepared food without waiting too long. I can't wait to come back and try more!

Yelp
The vibessss! Playlist was a hit, chill vibe, coffee was delicious, and the staff were super friendly! I wish they had more vegan options for food but not bad if you are a vegetarian. I had the Apple chai which was soooooo delicious! I had to run up and tell the barista because it was that good lol. Would definitely comeback.

Yelp
It's refreshing to see an establishment that executes a niche theme nicely. Nowadays, there seems to be a homogeneity amongst the ambiance of coffee shops. They seemingly mimic each other in design elements -- minimalistic, industrial, interspersed with hip plants with holes in the leaves. Coffee N Rock doesn't try to be that. As its name implies, rock 'n roll is at the center of this caffeine machine. A small drum set precariously sits above the registers, the walls are plastered with band posters and stickers, punctuated with a rack of electric guitars. Bright windows illuminate the atmosphere. My favorite thing to order is their "Come Together" special which includes a beverage, breakfast item, and a hash brown for about $10-$12. I usually order a cold brew, which is on the stronger side. A flavor shot will cost an extra dollar. I generally add more sweetener than given. The "War Pig" is a bacon, egg, cheese sandwich, which is filling. Please keep this deal going! This coffee shop also tries to make each drink personalized with their handwritten puns and lyrics. There's a points system (which I honestly don't know details on) but every so often, I'll accumulate money that can be put towards my order. They also have a convenient drive-thru. Sometimes, they'll have authors and book signings. Coffee N Rock is neighborhood-centered and a nice alternative to put in your list of go-to coffee shops.

Yelp
What a cool freaking place! Super neat vibe . The warpig breakfast sandwich was spot on. My latte was tasty and hot. Too often other coffee shop's lattes are made just warm. The music selection hits the feels of a an old 80's dude. Keep it up! The only thing I would improve is keeping it open later in the evening. What an awesome hang that could be! John

Yelp
I tried to stop in to get some work done... Key word is TRIED... Because I kept looking around at the art and zoning out to the music. Ahhh, real music sounds so good. Coffee is good enough, I'm not some connoisseur of coffee where I can compare one places coffee vs another. To me, cold brew is cold brew. And they don't charge extra for cream in my cold brew! Staff is friendly, and welcoming. Also, hand drawn cup holders! I'll be back!
google avatar

Sia S.

Yelp
This is my favorite shop to sit & do work. The staff is always nice & I love that you can accumulate points to use towards your purchase. What really made this my favorite shop was walking in on a morning when I wasn't having the best day & having my drink already prepared. Thanks Brandon! :)
google avatar

Steven G.

Yelp
Awesome spot! Inside is decorated pretty well. Ordered cold brew and the Free Bird. I would definitely order from here again.

Elizabeth L.

Yelp
My first time going to Coffee N Rock after living in the area for 2 years! It has a cute vibe and love the rock' n' roll theme on the walls and decor. I got an iced coffee, which was not listed on the menu. So if you don't see something on the menu, ask because they likely have the ingredients to make it. The coffee was delicious. I also ordered the breakfast burrito and it was super tasty and had a bit of a kick to it. The items are reasonably priced, overall a great place and probably the closest coffee shop to my place that isn't a national chain. I'm excited to come back. If you're in the area, you should definitely try it. I also noticed they have Mothership Coffee, so if you know, you know.
google avatar

Caroline I.

Yelp
My husband and I stopped in for coffee and he ordered a breakfast sandwich: War Pig, bacon, ham, egg, cheese and avocado on a brioche bun. The coffee shop is light, bright and welcoming. The employees are friendly and helpful. They give a 50% military discount which helps a lot. My husband ordered a Americano and I ordered an iced raspberry coffee drink with almond milk. My husband enjoyed his breakfast sandwich-he said it was very filling. He also liked his coffee. I thought the raspberry coffee was delightful. It was needed for a pick me up, it had the right amount of sweet in it with the almond milk. This coffee shop is a hidden gem in the Silverado Ranch neighborhood. We will definitely be regulars here.

Yelp
Good coffee, food and customer service. The food came out fast and was tasty. Will visit again, rock on!
google avatar

Lady C.

Yelp
This place is such a cool vibe. The rock & roll themed coffee shop is really laid back with items from the 70's rock greats. The coffee was so so (the four stars) but the fresh cinnamon roll was EVERYTHING. It wasn't overly sweet which I enjoy so for sure I'll be getting another one next visit. The employees were cool and laid back which is what you want when it's morning time lol.
google avatar

Celia V.

Yelp
Absolutely love this little gem. Everyone is incredibly kind and the service is super quick. Great music, and a clean, homefeel, comfortable setting. My husband and I dined here once, and were hooked. This is our go to date. Seriously a gem!
google avatar

Jessica M.

Yelp
This is a great place if you're looking for a coffe place with a different ambience. They have rock music playing lightly in the background, and rock memorabilia everywhere. They have a multitude of special drinks you can order and staff are helpful. Would definitely come back.
google avatar

A. G.

Yelp
This place is cool!!! If you love rock and coffee, this is the place to come. You can jam and drink coffee. The coffee selection is the same as most other coffee places but their drink specials are great!
google avatar

John G.

Yelp
I hate to ding a new place, but I wish I had gone to McDonald's. The coffee I got was $5, and the cup and lid smelled badly of women's perfume. It was so bad that I had to roll down my windows, and it's gusting like crazy today. I had to toss it, but the scent in my car still lingers. My girlfriend thinks I had a prostitute in the car. "No babe, it was my coffee, honest!" "Liar!"
google avatar

Emma W.

Yelp
I've been coming to this coffee shop since it was Classic Rock and since the rebranding it's still my favorite coffee shop in Las Vegas. I absolutely love the theme, the coffee, food, and service. Whether you need a place to work, study, relax or catch up with some friends this is a great place to visit. They also have a drive thru if you don't have time to sit back and rock out. The drinks are delicious and always consistent. I don't think I've ever had a bad drink from here. The dirty white boy is my go to, it's a white chocolate mocha. All of the lattes are great. Customer service is always on point, and the baristas are always super helpful. Highly recommend Coffee N Rock to all coffee and music lovers!

Lindsey M.

Yelp
Updating review after response from the business. I appreciate the offer. Next time I'm over that way, I'll be sure to stop in. Thank you.
google avatar

Jennifer F.

Yelp
Pulling up, it is nothing to look at. I was pleasantly surprised that they had to drive up, and once you went in, the ambience was nice. We didn't order food, but there were a few people inside enjoying breakfast, and what they were eating looked delicious. I enjoyed my first pumpkin coffee of the season. The barista talked me into getting a pumpkin king blended...and it did not disappoint! Looking forward to going back and trying some thing on their regular menu..
google avatar

Kimberley K.

Yelp
This location IS open. The people here are super nice. They told me that they have contacted YELP numerous times to try & change this status on their account and it has not as yet been fixed. The matcha latte was great and the avocado toast was good. Please YELP ... fix this for these people. Please put their status back to OPEN. Thanks

Erinn S.

Yelp
Best coffee in the area! I love it when the coffee tastes how it is described on the menu! I will definitely be a return customer!
google avatar

Andrea H.

Yelp
I used to come to this coffee shops a few years back when it was new... I was in the area so I decided to stop by. The menu looked different, I ordered a 20oz drip coffee and a 16oz iced oat latte with caramel and vanilla. I couldn't believe my total. I understand prices have gone up but my two drinks were $15. $1.85 for each add on to my coffee. I'm sorry but no coffee is worth $10.
google avatar

Jennifer D.

Yelp
I recently went to Coffee N Rock when I was in town for a work trip. The atmosphere was really neat and had a bunch of different music decor. The staff was extremely nice as well. I ordered a cold brew and it was pretty good. Slightly bitter, but still a great flavor. I would try an iced americano next time.
google avatar

Andrea P.

Yelp
The staff here are amazing. I Love their cinnamon rose rolls and they have really good sandwiches!!
google avatar

Yelp
The food was really good! The coffee was delicious and the whole place looks awesome! If your super into small cafes this place is a must visit!

Tarynn L.

Yelp
Tried this place a few times with the last visit being the final straw. I was greeted in the drive thru by an extremely enthusiastic and high pitched "Hiiiiiii". I don't mean this in a pleasant way, it was actually extremely sarcastic as was the rest of the conversation. I proceeded to order two sandwiches and ATTEMPTED a coffee order. I simply asked for an iced coffee, no cream, with mocha. In response the girl says "so you just want espresso, ice, and chocolate sauce?". Where does iced coffee equate to espresso?? I repeated that I just wanted an iced coffee with mocha flavor and the response I got was "I'm confused...". I drove away because if I have to overly explain what an iced coffee means to a barista, it's not a proper coffee establishment. My prior visit they got my order wrong and put milk in two coffees that I specifically asked for no milk. I was really only there for the breakfast sandwiches but I refuse to return. Too many coffee shops in the area to go through that. It's a shame because it seemed like new management or something but they really need to train the staff better.

Lorraine Jackson K.

Yelp
My favorite coffee shop in las vegas. I'm a rock n roll fan and the interior of this shop is absolutely amazing. it'd pretty much be my dream teenage bedroom with all the posters and stickers covering the walls. They're always playing amazing music, but the important thing is that their food and coffee are incredible. i get the chicken bacon flatbread and the iced vanilla latte and they simply never disappoint. you can actually taste the coffee in the latte too, unlike at starbucks or dutch bros where the coffee is watered down and masked in syrup. the flatbread-- don't even get me started. i genuinely crave this thing because it's that delectable.. some days it's flatter than others but whoever made it today deserves a big fat wet kiss on the lips. 5/5!!! also they have a drive thru which is so convenient anyway i love coffee n rock
google avatar

Aileen M.

Yelp
Love this place. Great strong coffee, great breakfast food, and they gave us complimentary fresh cinnamon rolls. I got the shaken espresso with caramel and it was perfect. Great service too they're always on top of it.

Nikki T.

Yelp
SUPER CUTE SPOT Very warm and welcoming, nice variety on menu and the Apple Chai is WONDERFUL New regular here.
google avatar

Sheree G.

Yelp
Absolutely adore this place! I will literally drive across town for that Apple Chai. They have some pretty creative drinks we've tried and they're always great. Our family is always greeted warmly and the drinks come out quickly. The music is always good and it's always such a chill vibe there. I've never had any food items, but we were given a sample of the cinnamon roll bites that were delicious. Definitely one of my Top 5 coffee shops in Vegas!
google avatar

Chad R.

Yelp
Came here on (12/17/22 @ 6am) not knowing they changed the name (formerly Classic Rock Coffee Bar) & menu. I walked in and told the nice lady working I would like the cookie & cream shake and immediately was told oh unfortunately we did change our name & menu. We no longer have the protein shakes. So I ended up getting a mango smoothie & bacon & Egg flatbread. Both were incredibly tasty. While waiting for my food I looked up the website and seen this place has a connection with Mothership Coffee which is neat. Really hope this place sticks around.
google avatar

Jennifer F.

Yelp
I love this little gem. The breakfast sandwiches are so good! And the coffee.... Well it's worth every penny.
google avatar

John L.

Yelp
Horrible prices!!! $6.50 for an iced coffee that is not that great... it is obvious that by the quality of this overpriced crap coffee that this place will be out of business soon... go to Starbucks it's cheaper!
google avatar

Vedrana O.

Yelp
We love that they have alternative milk options! Shaken expresses are so good!!! Service is always so friendly!

Daniel H.

Yelp
Worst coffee I've ever had . Most miserable sand which I ever had to the war pig Starbucks makes better coffee and sandwiches
google avatar

Eric F.

Yelp
First time here as a customer and got to enjoy a nice shaken espresso. Coffee n rock us is known for its strong coffee and absolutely agree with those words. It has a nice hip vibe with great music choice in the background, owners are also very nice and take care of you as well!. Highly recommend Coffee n rock if you want a good start to your day!.

Cee R.

Yelp
This is my local coffee place and it's great! I usually get lattes but have also tried their pour overs and both are great. The sandwiches on their lunch menu are actually pretty good. And they also have a drive thru!

Amber J.

Yelp
Nice rock and roll vibe, and tasty coffee. What more could I ask for. My fave is the mocha cappuccino. Staff is super friendly too.
google avatar

Alexis G.

Yelp
i love this place ! the espresso is great so any coffee drink you have will be good. the war pig breakfast sandwich is wonderful, the aioli really makes it. everyone is also very friendly whenever i go (:

Dennis C.

Yelp
I'm not sure what happened during the transition from Classic Rock to Coffee N Rock. My wife and I ordered our normal drinks. My wife's Matcha didn't taste like tea and my drink was not stirred, leaving all of the flavoring on the bottom of the drink. My large drink was filled up just above half way. Not to mention, I paid 14 dollars for 2 drinks. On the other hand, the staff is nice. I do not think this is the worst place, however, I would suggest spending your hard earned money on a shop that makes good drinks.
