I work for a local utility and have eaten my weight in Rio wraps. CONSISTENTLY CONSISTENT. Dependably good. Coho cafe is 100% perfect, 100% of the time, whether they're hustling out mountains of breakfast sandwiches for gangs of hungry linemen or expertly crafting specialty beverages one by one for me and an unending stream of pushy tourists. Balsamic Arugula Avocado toast on Ezekiel bread and a dirty chai latte. They are both phenomenal. They also offer option of bagel or sourdough for the toast. Yummy fresh ingredients and a friendly and fast-paced staff packed into a cozy historic setting. Hand crafted yummm at prices that should make the big international coffee magnate up the street blush. Honey lavender special with extra espresso is extra yum. Finally got my hands on the elusive waldorf chicken salad and it is obvious why they are always sold out. Got the cinnamon roll for my husband, gave it a test bite. If I hadn't already told him I was bringing him a snack I would have eaten it already... I don't even like cinnamon rolls.

I actually used to work at this place when I was a teenager in 2003 when it was still Avalon Bagel, but my husband and I live in Denver now and have been visiting our hometown of CMCH for a couple weeks. Depending on who’s working, sometimes it feels like ordering from the soup guy in that episode of Seinfeld, but I always like a good South-Jersey-attitude wake up call. The service is still incredible, just a little intimidating haha. The cinnamon roll is literally one of the best things I’ve ever eaten, the coffee is ok, and their bagel sandwiches are *chef’s kiss*. Definitely stop by if you want something incredible to eat and bring your big girl pants if you decide to just start listing off bagels that you want without telling them how many first, because you might catch some side eye.

Coho Cafe is a quality quaint breakfast spot. This is my favorite place to enjoy a breakfast sandwich. Sourcing their bagels from the parent company, Avalon Coffee Company, they have created sandwich combinations that are not offered anywhere else. Im a traditionalist- meat, egg, and cheese on a bagel all the way. Ive ordered Turkey sausage and bacon so far and both have been cooked well. The hard fried eggs are delicious and the cheese is always perfectly melted. The bagels are toasted so the outside has a nice chew and the inside is soft and pillowy. What makes this place a standout is you can add a HASH BROWN for $1.50. The perfect crunch of the hash brown combined with a little greasiness from The shredded potato interior is perfection on a sandwich. My recommendation is ask them to scoop the bagel and add the hash brown…it will make you feel a little healthier. The breakfast is a fantastic quality and so is the staff. I appreciate a friendly, attentive, and hard working staff. Especially the guys putting all their efforts into making a perfectly constructed breakfast sandwich. What makes this place special is they are willing to customize to make you happy and they’ve succeeded every time I visit. Update: the Apple Jack bagel sandwich is to die for!!! (Order a jalapeño bagel - sweet heat is perfection)

WOW! This coffee shop is incredible. I drove from Ocean City to work remotely here and have breakfast. The atmosphere, food, coffee, and workers here are all incredible. Such great service especially from Sage. She is so kind and I watched her multiple times go above and beyond to treat everyone who walked in with kindness. One of the best coffee shops I’ve been to.

Coho cafe is the best. Strawberry matcha with oat milk cold foam was amazing, she was beauty she was grace. The matcha is good quality and not pre sweetened. Great service and they put the perfect amount of strawberry. Lots of delish unique drinks. Also the bagels are so fluffy. 12/10

Yelp
Checked out Coho a week or so ago and have been back twice since! The campfire cold brew and a breakfast sandwich were both amazing. Will be back again!

Yelp
This place is perfect for your New Jersey breakfast needs! Every time I visit the state I make it a point to find a cafe for a pork roll (or Taylor ham, depending where you are) breakfast bagel. This place hits the spot! The sandwich is HUGE! The bagels are thick and fluffy and the ratio of ingredients is on point. The inside is cute and cozy and the service is relatively quick. Many options for breakfast sandwiches, I also purchased one on sourdough bread which was also wonderful.

Yelp
Delicious food and drinks. Wonderful customer service. And the vibe is on point. Truly a great coffee shop.

Yelp
Very nice people. Huge, tasty bagels. Sandwiches are made on a grill - NOT microwaved (which is gross). Sandwiches tasted great. Cool spot to eat in if desired.

Yelp
I'm going all in to say this little cozy cafe on Mechanic Street in Cape May Courthouse has the absolute best bagels in south Jersey. These bagels can go head to head with most of the great NYC bagel spots. Coho cafe is the most unassuming place to find hand rolled, perfectly balanced and flavored bagel perfection but it's true. I brought them back to a house full of New York bagel snobs and all I heard was praise. Besides the great rounders Coho Cafe makes some fantastic coffee drinks at reasonable prices and offers a few non-dairy "milk" options as well which is always a plus for us. As a purist I took a shot (pun intended) at trying their double espresso and it was a winner. They also offer muffins and a few baked goods and sell some handmade jewelry and stuff from local artists. Their menu had several tempting sandwich options that I'd like to go back and try.

Yelp
Amazing coffee and fresh, big crusty bagels. Lots of options for breakfast and lunch. Very clean tables to sit inside and out. Friendly cashiers. Highly recommend!

Yelp
It's been a few years since I last visited (and never returned), the coffee shop appears to be rebranded, so I figured we'd give it another try. I would have to say I was very impressed. The espresso (Iced Latte) was solid, the food was good, the staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was much improved. Daring to see if i my stomach would agree this morning, I tried the Jalapeño Special. It had just right amount of kick to it, making it a great breakfast, and was delicious...but maybe it could use some egg too? My GF had an iced caramel macchiato and sausage egg and cheese on an everything bagel, which was also amazing. We will be coming back.

Yelp
Coho Cafe is centrally located in Cape May Courthouse with street parking. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Their iced coffee was solid. Hot and iced coffee were self served but there's a charge for refills. My bacon, egg and cheese on an everything bagel with ample bacon, a fresh fried egg and a soft bagel that was toasted. It took a little while for the food to come out but the staff was friendly and apologetic. Unfortunately they were short staffed so this likely was a one off occurrence. Looking forward to my next trip! A few people got the Rio Wrap so maybe I'd give that a try!
