Cold Crush Corner to Transform Into BarCode | Eater Denver

"Previously occupying the corner Larimer Street space now at 2700 Larimer Street, Cold Crush was evicted last year following a public dispute with the building’s landlord; the Cold Crush owners have since partnered with Curtis Club to move on from that location and help create a new project." - Gigi Sukin

Cold Crush Ave is an absolute gem in the heart of Jamaica! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and a vibe that’s both chill and inviting. The ice cream and frozen yogurt are next-level—rich, creamy, and packed with flavor. I tried the bubble tea too, and it was perfectly balanced, not overly sweet like some places. The space is clean, stylish, and perfect for a quick treat or a relaxed hangout. Bonus points for offering takeout and delivery, which makes satisfying cravings way too easy. Whether you're into acai bowls, smoothies, or soft serve, this place has something for everyone. Highly recommend Cold Crush Ave for anyone looking to cool down with something delicious. Can’t wait to come back!

Cold Crush is absolutely delicious and a great addition for the neighborhood. I was really craving some bubble tea closer to home than the places father away and harder to get to. The inside is adorable and I highly recommend the green tea passion fruit bubble tea. So glad to have them in the area 😃.

The first day they opened, they weren't good, we went a week later and they were delicious and the service was very good from the first day. There was a Hispanic and another girl, then a girl with red hair. We have gone 3 more times in 1 week and the new person who is there is bad faced, it seems that you came to beg and very reluctantly makes drinks. If we follow her there, we won't go anymore, I prefer to go to Forest Hills. My daughter spends at least $20 a week and once a week we go for 3 or 4 bubble teas. The business is well established and when they have someone who knows how to make the drinks everything is spectacular, it's worth waiting in line for. WHEN THE PERSON WHO WORKS THERE CHANGE THEIR ATTITUDE OR THERE IS SOMEONE ELSE I WILL GIVE THEM 5 STARS BECAUSE THEY DESERVE THEM

Google
This place is a great addition to this area. All that’s missing is if they can make some hand-rolled sushi. Other than that, everything is fresh and the bubble teas are yummy. They have a variety of toppings and bubbles to put inside your bubble tea. They also offer healthy options to go such as salads and kombucha juices. The people that work here are friendly and nice as well :)

Google
The food is delicious, but the Taro milk tea is not prepared with milk, but with water. The place closes before the indicated time.

Google
Amazing Job honestly, they’re working hard as they can to make they’re store good for ungrateful and lazy people who decide to order and complain about how late it comes while they’re not the ones moving a foot. Anywho 10/10 Store totally recommend.

Yelp
3.5 stars overall The froyo here costs $0.65/oz, which is the cheapest I've seen so far in NYC, and there's even a buy one get one 50% off ongoing deal. However, given the price and deal and lack of information about the ingredients, I'm not sure how much yogurt is actually in this "froyo." It's very creamy, not tart at all, and very much like ice cream soft serve. The flavors weren't overly sweet though, which was good. When I visited, the flavors were vanilla, dutch chocolate, original tart, strawberry, cookies and cream, cake batter, mango sorbet, and pomegranate raspberry sorbet. The original tart and strawberry dispensers were out of service, so unfortunately, I wasn't able to try them. They have a good amount of toppings, all self-serve: pretzels, oreos, cookie dough, fruit, popping boba, etc. The worker was nice and polite, and the seating area was fine -- there 3 small tables near the front of the door. This is a good place for cheap(er) frozen yogurt, but I personally would go to Red Mango because I like the tartness of their froyo and can guarantee that their froyo is actual frozen yogurt. Cold Crush isn't a bad option though for those who aren't really picky about their froyo.

Yelp
The food is great BUT the service is INSANELY SLOW. IM currently (still) waiting over 30 minutes for a SMOOTHIE. Completely unacceptable.

Yelp
Happy to see bubble tea in Jamaica. I went during Ramadan. There was a huge line right before Iftar (when Muslims break their fast.) I saw one girl working behind the counter. I can see her shift being slow all day but near Iftar when a long line began to form, she quickly got busy. I enjoyed the tea and will be back to try more items from the menu.

Yelp
I was beyond excited when I saw that we were getting a place in the neighborhood that has bubble tea.I went here on Saturday January 15,2022 to check it out. Interior- The place is very minimalist in terms of style so it has an open clean look to it. They have yummy flavored soft serve options in the machines (think 16 Handles or Sweet Frog) to the left. On the right are cases with salads and drinks. The menu has a selection of Açaí Bowls, bubble teas and smoothies. Taste- I got the Rose Tea with Bubbles- I got it extra sweet. It was delicious! I had never had Rose tea before so this was a pleasant surprise! Cost- The cost is average price for the items they advertise. Service- I was helped by Griselda she was very nice and helpful. She was so sweet- I am sure I'll be back to visit again to try other flavors of bubble teas and see how the business is going. Overall- I really liked this place! Please check this place out!!

Yelp
A great addition to Hillside Ave. Finally I don't have to travel far for Bubble Tea! The Mighty Mango and Super Smoothie are a must try! Reasonable prices!

Yelp
I went to the one on hillside 179 and I love it. The boba barista is always friendly and helpful. Owner is very nice and cares about the feedback of her customers. The price is amazing. The selections are never boring.

Yelp
I live nearby, was walking past this business, and wanted to stop in since I saw they had frozen yogurt. I got there at 8:15 and thought it was fine because on the door of the business it says they close at 9pm tonight. When I walked in they said they were closed and were headed out. I asked if they were closing early tonight and he rudely said "no look what time you're here." I said oh sorry about that I was going by the time I see on the door. Now that I am here writing a review I do see here on yelp that the hours match up to what he said, however the hours listed on the door need to match. Not everyone jumps straight to yelp when this is a busy street with multiple businesses and a lot of us are local. Off this interaction alone, I will not be supporting this business. As an owner he shouldn't have made it seem like I did not see what I saw on the door that HE put!

Yelp
Usually, this place is my favorite boba spot, but these past two weeks they've been slacking. The boba has been undercooked every time I've been there for the month and the tea itself doesn't seem fully incorporated

Yelp
Hands down the best smoothie and juice bar! I'm not a big frozen yogurt fan but I've seen the lines out around school time with the kids so I'm guessing that's good too. The baristas are super sweet, and remember my order every time I go in. I'm so glad to see a place like this in Jamaica. Highly recommend!!!

Yelp
This is a new place. I think the reviews I seen some weeks ago are under a different name. I came here tonight and got 2 bubble teas. I asked for no bubbles for both but when I got home, noticed one had bubbles in it. The straw I got is a regular straw. They charge a 4% under cash discount. I am guessing since I paid with a card it is suppose to say card fee and not cash discount as it is an add on not a deduction. They also sell frozen yogurt. The toppings have no coverage over them. Not only due to Covid but be mindful to at least have plastic covering the toppings which are out all day and numerous people are handling them.

Yelp
Love the smoothies and love the yogurt\Ice-Cream combinations. Absolutely recommend Cold Crush to any who haven't been there yet.

Yelp
Cute bubble tea, smoothie and frozen yogurt shop. The Matcha and Thai bubble tea are great. They have smoothie bowl options as well. They also have a variety of other healthy drinks. Great addition to the neighborhood. Perfect for the hot summer days.

Yelp
there was a really long wait but it was worth it! the drink was fresh as well as the boba and it was delicious. just wished we didn't have to wait 20 minutes to order and 20 minutes waiting for the drink
